I got Ricky Carruth on the show! Ricky is from Alabama but is visiting Las Vegas to come on the show and host some breakout sessions. Ricky Carruth worked with his dad at his roofing company, where his dad not only owned the business, but was a laborer in it as well. His mom was the same way with her hair salon! Ricky went to college on a football scholarship. In the following two years, he went to four colleges and ended up getting his real estate license. It took him 8 months to get his first deal! He was making a million dollars at 23 years old! After that period, the market took a dive, and he went broke and went back to roofing. He lost everything and slept in his car, but nonetheless, Ricky said that that experience was very humbling. He gives this as a warning for every agent that wants to go full time.
