This week, Mars leaves fast-moving Aries for the more leisurely pastures of Taurus. Venus enters nurturing Cancer and makes a romantic sextile to Mars. The Sun enters the curious sign of Gemini and is awakened by a conjunction with Uranus, and creativity are highlighted as the Sun sextiles Neptune. We are encouraged to loosen our grip on perfectionism at the Virgo First Quarter Moon. Plus: "A guy," a cat arguing with a mouse, and the love of a hot mess! (And this is another busy week, so we'll have to wait until next week to answer a listener question.) Read a full transcript of this episode. Have a question you'd like answered on the show? Sixteen transits this week, the most this year so far, highlighted by Mars in Taurus, Venus in Cancer, and the Sun in Gemini. The New Moon in Taurus arrives in the sharp and discerning nakshatra of Krittika.. an asterism associated with purification, clarity, and the sacred fire that burns away inner distortion and bias. Taurus reminds us to slow down, ground ourselves, and reconnect with stability, the senses, nature, and what makes us feel safe. Krittika asks us to remain neutral and objective, even in the storm of inner turbulence. There may be some emotional reactivity, projection, or attachment around this new moon. Krittika has the ability to cut through confusion, helping us separate emotional intensity from objective truth. We also discuss the upcoming Saraswati Yoga, a deeply supportive combination for learning, creativity, wisdom, and communication. 30 Minute Readings https://calendly.com/vedic_astrology/30-minuteYOUTUBE:D9 exploration:https://youtu.be/HTgYcjltyasCharacteristics of Your Spouse:https://youtu.be/i_cOvdSbjy0Soulmate Astrologyhttps://youtu.be/ExnDysvjzUwChristine:website: innerknowing.yogainstagram: astrologynow_podcastpatreon: patreon.com/astrologynowpodcast keywords: astrology, jyotish, Vedic astrology, sidereal astrology, nakshatras, spirituality, Christine Rodriguez, aries, libra, scorpio, libra, capricorn, Nakshatra, new moon, taurus, Venus, Jupiter, Pisces, Spirituality, horoscope, retrograde, eclipse, solar eclipse, new moon, lunar eclipse

In today's segment we explore the main transits of May. Mars will enter the sign of Aries, FINALLY breaking the intense depth of Yama Yoga. Mars is strong in Aries - inspiring drive, courage, and a desire to take action... but not without intensity! As we transition from Aries season into Taurus season mid month, we discuss the energetic shift from fiery impulse and taking action to grounding down, enjoying the fruits of our labor, and redirecting to steadfastness.Venus will enter Gemini - bringing curiosity into relationships, encouraging conversation, playfulness, and mental connection. With Saraswati Yoga active, there's also a powerful undercurrent of creativity, learning, and expression. JOIN SHERI HORN HASAN @ https://www.karmicevolution.com/astrologically-speaking for the latest podcast which drops today April 10!CAPRICORN MOON SQUARE THE ARIES SUN DEMANDS RESPONSIBLE—NOT RECKLESS—ACTION! We're right now still in the waning stages of the Pisces New Moon monthly lunar cycle which began on March 18. That's until we hit the Aries New Moon, which will occur on April 17 at 27'29” degrees of Aries at 4:52 am PT & 7:52 am ET next Friday, April 17.Between now & then, however, we're dealing still with the mission to grow into feeling greater empathy for our fellow humans. Challenged at the Libra Full Moon on April 1 to release any tendency toward going it alone by shunning the advice or support of allies, this waning third quarter square—known as a “crisis in consciousness”—relates to the tension between acting impulsively & understanding our responsibility to others. Therefore, the Saturn-ruled Capricorn Moon, which represents “the people” in mundane astrology, now demands a stop to the unbridled, impatient, impetuous choices & actions made by the Mars-ruled Aries Sun (the leader) without consideration of the opinions or advice of its partners. The Saturn-ruled Capricorn Moon also archetypally represents of “the judge,” the symbol of wisdom & justice. So, it's now at this third quarter waning lunar “crisis in consciousness” square that people are more consciously judging the consequences--& wisdom--of such a leader's actions. That's because it's now abundantly clear the U.S. acted independently of its NATO allies by waging war with Israel against Iran. And that such actions have proven impulsive, lacked strategic insight or well-defined achievable goals, & did not include not well thought out possible negative consequences. We are now at the point where people are demanding that the U.S. (& Israel by extension, since both are led by leaders who favor violent retribution rather than negotiation) sit down & act more responsibly. Especially since this is in keeping with the current month's lunar cycle's message of empathy. This third quarter square late on April 9/early April 10 was preceded by Mars' entrance into its own sign of Aries on April 9, so let me say a word or two about Mars in Aries. While Mars' entrance into its own sign of Aries increases the risk of impulsive action, it reminds us also of what are the highest & best uses of Mars' energies. And that—given that Mars' positive attributes include motivation, ambition, & assertion—the best use of Mars' energies relate to being motivated to come to the defense of, & protect, those weaker & less able to do so for themselves. Because the choice is always up to us, we can opt for hasty decisions that further our recklessness, or ones that are tempered by realizing negotiation doesn't mean surrender; rather it means the balancing of interests between parties.Given the general theme of the Pisces New Moon monthly lunar cycle as it wanes this week, we might understand that the upcoming Aries New Moon will give us the opportunity to do just that BECAUSE we've not grown those seeds of empathy for our fellow humans into a healthy enough plant by April 17.We'll talk more about that next week. However, right now we can see that this week brings--in addition to Mars entrance into Aries until he moves into Venus-ruled Taurus May 18—a plethora of Aries energy including the Sun, Saturn, Neptune, & Mars. That this will increase as the week goes on to include Mercury's move into Mars-ruled Aries on April 14, which may well create additional bombastic rhetoric for those who are already martially inclined. Implications include those who like to talk a lot—including those in power such as the U.S. Congress, which has a lot to consider as they return from their two-week recess on April 13, just after the Mars/Neptune conjunction in Aries late April 12/early April 13, depending on your time zone.Together, we've got a recipe for potential deceit by those who insist on rhetoric that feeds into what some of us may want to hear, but which lacks actual facts. In short, we're cautioned to be “careful of people who appeal to you through your favorite ideals or delusions and then take you for a ride,” as astrologer Rob Hand describes this aspect in his book “Planets In Transit.”By April 16 when the Sun conjoins wounded healer Chiron in Aries we may begin to see how our actions have wounded others, & how this annual cycle may allow us to promote healing—for both ourselves & othersAlso that day we have Mars in Aries sextiling Pluto in Aquarius, & we may see new plans replace old ones in ways that provide the opportunity for developing a clearer objective. That's probably most likely if we take this sextile's opportunity to engage in negotiations rather than trying to use it as an opportunity to gain more power over our opponents. When Mercury conjoins Neptune in Aries late April 16/early April 17, it will be more important than ever for us to rely on our critical thinking capabilities in order to discern between fact & fiction. While good for creative insights & artistic expressions—especially of the more subtle kind—this aspect a lack of honesty making any kind of negotiations & communication unclear & confusing in nature. That this is what will lead to the Aries New Moon April 17 can be seen also in the fact that there is bound to be a lot of frustration building between now & April 19 when Mars conjoins with Saturn in Aries. That's an aspect that denotes feeling like one is banging one's head against a brick wall. In Aries, it's particularly frustrating, which is likely the situation as the Aries New Moon begins a new monthly lunar cycle on April 17 as this Mars/Saturn energy is waxing.Join us for all this & more Astro News You Can Use @ https://www.karmicevolution.com/astrologically-speaking starting today! Note that this podcast also includes a look at the bigger astrological picture through the major cycles as they unfold. And that means the Saturn/Pluto sextile, the waxing Saturn/Neptune in Aries energies, the “it ain't over til it's over” triggered U.S. Pluto return as Pluto's now in Aquarius, the waxing Jupiter/Saturn cycle--& more!Tune in starting today for more on all of this! See you soon! Namaste…
Hola New Paradigmer! While the world is in contraction, My life is under construction, As I'm building a solid foundation, To prepare for my future expansion! ☉Yeah, I changed the mantra a bit after I filmed..... Anyway, let's get a little techie here for you astro-buffs! Stelliums are a fascinating study in astrology all by themselves. They occur when three or more planets are in the same sign/house within a 9 degree orb (distance between). With that definition we will be having an "Aries Stellium" pretty much until Mars leaves Aries for Taurus May 19th. That's a lot of Cardinal Fire and we'll be seeing it!With a stellium it's important to note the order of the planets, which with these transits, is changing. First, Mars enters Aries Thursday and hits Neptune, then Saturn, then Eris and finally Chiron before exiting. Hence, we can interpret that Mars will shoot for the Moon (so to speak) with some very unrealistic expectations as it joins with dreamy, idealistic Neptune. Then it will move on and hit Saturn April 18th and get really pissed off as Saturn will block, stop, inhibit, and try to correct his ways. He'll then march on and hit Eris May 12th and the two of them will raise holy hell together. Finally, on May 16th he'll hit Chiron for a healing crisis that could well involve hemorrhaging. This foretells a difficult time ahead. Next, enter Mercury Tuesday for a slightly different journey. Mercury, the negotiator will hit Neptune first and express optimistic (even if not true) hopes but as it approaches Saturn on the 19th, Mars will be there for a 7 degree stellium all its own. If Mars doesn't kill negotiations Saturn will. Next comes the Moon which rules the public as well as the general feeling atmosphere. She'll hit Mercury first next Wednesday, then Neptune, Mars, and Saturn within hours before passing the Sun for a New Moon (Whew!). This brings me to the point I want to make, that from the 3/4 Moon this Thursday all the way through to the New Moon on the 17th everything will be blowing up, falling apart, and chaos will reign as she signals some final endings prior to the new beginning. And even the new beginning, like many births, may well be painful and bloody with the concentration of energy remaining in Aries. However, THAT IS THE WORLD PICTURE THAT WE DON'T NEED TO BUY INTO, FOLLOW, STRESS ABOUT, AND FEAR. Our job during all of this is to Saturnly keep our composure, discipline ourselves, our instincts, our emotions, and our actions to respond maturely rather than react, and go about our business, as warriors that will guard, protect, and proceed in spite of hostile opposition, oppression, news, or fear. This is a great initiation and we will all be tested to our core. We can do this! Advanced initiates will continue to love, laugh, create, and build, perhaps with greater determination then before. JOIN SHERI HORN HASAN @ FOR THIS WEEK'S ASTROLOGICALLY SPEAKING PODCAST WHICH DROPS MAY 16 @https://www.karmicevolution.com/astrologically-speaking It seems clear now in hindsight that the May 12 Scorpio Full Moon asked us--& asks us still in the waning portion of this month's lunar cycle--to release any attachment to making sudden changes in, or reversals of, long held, deeply felt values. In essence, the May 12 lunation served as a warning that a sudden change in values may not serve the overall evolutionary process--which understands that things cannot remain the same forever but also that change must occur slowly because that is how the evolutionary process works. Ergo, we need to release our tendency to decide to suddenly do an about face vis-a-vis our long held traditional values. This becomes even clearer when we remember two things: That Pluto is now transiting through the Uranus-ruled sign of Aquarius, denoting that evolutionary change over the long term is necessary & that it may be led by the eventual progressive empowerment of groups; & that the U.S. is undergoing still its Pluto return which began in February 2022.The Taurus Sun normally does not like change. It likes its creature comforts & finds security in its resources, including land, money, and its physical body & possessions. In short, Taurus is reluctant to change what it deems pleasurable. And what's pleasurable is what Taurus values. However, when the Taurus Sun exact conjoins sudden change maker Uranus on May 17—particularly in stubborn change resistant Taurus—the Uranian principle that the longer change has been resisted the more sudden & shocking it will seem when it inevitably occurs becomes prevalent. In addition, Uranus, which rules Aquarius, tends to bring us sudden—sometimes shocking & often unexpected—revelations with lightning speed that provide us stark clarity. That's why astrologers often refer to Uranus as the “great awakener.”The Sun also represents the leader in mundane astrology. And, what's changing rapidly now is related to his or her personal values, rather than those of the collective (read: the people.) Given that Neptune's now in Aries, we are seeing an awakening, or new birth if you will, of the need for freedom of choice within the greater collective, especially in America. And this has presented us with a dilemma in terms of this nation's long held values around equality & freedom from tyranny. The current U.S. Pluto return, in effect for several years ahead still, denotes that adaptation will be necessary in order to avoid total extinction of the democratic process here. This podcast takes a deep dive into the sudden, recently attempted changes to both the 236 year-old U.S. Constitution & its long held & accepted legal premise around issues such as habeas corpus & the right to due process, the emoluments clause, birthright citizenship, and more. While it's true that the U.S. Constitution is in need of a modern-day upgrade, sudden change is not the way. That's because we don't want to throw the baby out with the bathwater in terms of its basic principles such as that “all men are created equal,” and that the U.S. Government is one “of the people, by the people, for the people.”What will be necessary in the years to come, under the tutelage of Pluto in Aquarius, will be an update to the meaning of these words. “All men,” for example should not mean only White male Christian aristocratic landowners or corporate robber barons. It must extend its humanitarian Aquarian nature into a more collectively Neptunian sense that ALL humans deserve equal rights—including minorities, women, immigrants, LGBTQ+, etc.--& that corporations & billionaires must not tyrannically control the masses. These are the immediate issues to ponder as transiting Jupiter in Gemini forms a square to the transiting Virgo South Node & Pisces North Node, which urges us to move away from trying to control every aspect of our environment & toward relaxing into a more empathic, inclusive one. This is especially true right now in terms of Jupiter-related archetypes: law, immigration, higher education, religion, & a free press (read: freedom of speech.) As we move toward the third quarter monthly “crisis in consciousness” lunar square of the Aquarius Moon to the Taurus Sun on May 20, the tension between groups of people and a stubborn pleasure-loving executive may become even more palpable. Perhaps objections by the people to our president accepting a $400 million “palace in the sky” jet from Qatar IS a violation of the American Constitution & a step too far, eh?When the Sun enters Gemini later that day, perhaps there will be an about face, as Gemini can be fickle. And, since America's current president's natal Sun/Uranus conjunction in Gemini has proven to be part of how American policy is decided at this point, a change of mind is always possible. If nothing else, the Gemini archetype is good at both being mentally adaptable as well as adept at making an about face.Next week's Mercury/Uranus conjunction in Taurus may well lead to an unexpected announcement of some kind by May 23, especially since Mercury enters its own sign of Gemini May 25. Perhaps more deals will be made & announced, who knows? We already have a lot of that going on, including the possibility of some kind of move toward a resolution of the war by Russia against Ukraine based on current discussions between the two now.Meanwhile, there's lots to say about Saturn's upcoming entrance into Mars-ruled Aries on November 24, too, so be sure to tune into https://www.karmicevolution.com/astrologically-speaking starting today May 16, & catch up on all the latest Astro News You Can Use! See you then! Namaste…
We begin by discussing all the ASTRO NEWS YOU CAN USE from this past week, how it's played out, & what's on the horizon as we make our way through this month's lunar cycle which began with the Taurus New Moon square to the Mars/Pluto opposition on April 27.Since Venus's entrance into Aries April 30 (until June 6), we've seen some “let them eat cake” resistance to consumer prices heating up due to pending tariff wars begun by the U.S. Government. And the Venus/Neptune conjunction in Aries May 2 illustrated a likewise laissez faire attitude toward the U.S. Constitution's Fifth Amendment by President Donald Trump who, when asked on Meet The Press if he agreed “that citizens and noncitizens in the United States were entitled to due process,” was less than comforting.“I don't know,” Mr. Trump replied. “I'm not, I'm not a lawyer. I don't know.” This as we waxed toward the first quarter monthly lunar “crisis in action” square of the Leo Moon to the Taurus Sun May 4, illustrating the vague nonchalance yet recalcitrance of a stubborn leader (Taurus Sun) to take responsibility for the due process rights of individuals (Leo Moon) under U.S. law. Keep in mind that our short-term monthly mission since April 27's Taurus New Moon has been to plant seeds that reflect our more present-day values--as opposed to old, outdated, no longer applicable ones, like say, that trickle-down economics is the way to go, lol. Or, that corporate & billionaire money & power are more important than individual peoples' health & well-being. You know, stuff like that… However, the major point of this month's lunation is that once we discover (or rediscover) our soul's true, lasting values, we may have to fight for them, as per the Mars opposite Pluto signature at the Taurus New Moon.Meanwhile Pluto's station retrograde on May 4 (until October 14) provides us all the perfect opportunity to dig deeply into our psyches to better discover our soul's true, lasting values. In doing so, we discover our shadow sides and bring them out into the light to be forever vanquished. The end result is that of greater personal empowerment, yeah!We look too at the upcoming entrance of Mercury into Taurus on May 10, & the already anticipated slowdown of both travel & trade. Ports on the West Coast are already reporting fewer ships docking there from places like China, a redux of the pandemic era's import shortages from only a few short years ago. Likewise, tourism to America and spending on travel within America, is down and forecast to stay that way for the foreseeable future. As we wax toward the May 12 Scorpio Full Moon which conjoins Juno, the archetypal symbol of partnership, & opposes the Taurus Sun, Uranus, & goddess of health Hygeia, we've already seen a few surprising firsts. On April 8—after a surprisingly quick conclave in Rome that lasted less than two full days—the first American-born Pope was chosen to lead the world's 1.4 billion Catholics. In addition to being the first American to become pope, Pope Leo XIV is also the first member of the Augustinian Order, a Catholic religious order founded in 1244. He attended St. Augustine Seminary near Holland, Michigan, and spent much of his career as a missionary in Peru.“Peace be with you,” Pope Leo XIV greeted his new followers, & we await to see if this is, indeed, going to be true, as he will be tasked with confronting difficult decisions about the church's direction, including the issue of greater inclusion. In addition, the inclusion of Hygeia in this lunar equation, partnered with Uranus in the sign of the physical body (read: Taurus) may signal a rapid change in the world's health situation. Think of the starving children in Gaza (& other places deprived of food & medical care due to war and the now defunct services from USAID), & how U.S. farmers' crops rot in silos due to increased tariffs on importing nations. Then there's the fact that Mercury square Pluto at this lunation brings a measure of obsessiveness to the U.S. House of Representatives' struggle still to come up with a governmental budget reconciliation bill by Memorial Day that doesn't throw 77 million people off of Medicaid—especially in GOP districts. And that's just so corporate billionaires can reduce their taxes under a proposed extension of President Trump's 2017 corporate tax reduction due to expire by end 2025. And that's not even mentioning financial cuts already made to Veteran's benefits & potential cuts to Medicare, Social Security, etc., & the loss of medical benefits of laid off or fired federal workers under unelected billionaire Elon Musk's DOGE. We discuss the sticking point of state & local tax caps (read: reducing family's tax deductions) bandied about in the House now, too…There's also the implications of transiting Jupiter in Gemini's pending mutable square to the transiting Virgo South Node & Pisces North Node as all things Jupiter-related have made their way into the news recently. Law, higher education, foreign travel (read: immigration), media, & religion—of which the new first time American Pope's election is but one subject under Jupiter's domain—are all prominent now, especially between May 15-28 as both the Mean & True Nodes are squared exact by Jupiter during this period. Keep in mind, too, that more surprises are ahead--not only at the Scorpio Full Moon opposite the Sun & Uranus in Taurus May 12—but between now and the Sun's exact conjunction to Uranus on May 17.
Merrylin talks with Michael Bartlett about current events, such as the new Pope and mostly about the planet Mercury entering Taurus May 10, 2025.

Mercury joins up with Jupiter for some big conversations and important announcements, and then face plants into the lush, aromatic fields of Taurus. Venus connects with Pluto, and a listener question about how best to work through those long, long transits of the outer planets. Plus: A bullhorn, a horse and buggy, and one foot out the door! Void-of-Course (VOC) Moon periods for the week: On May 5 (6:03 am PDT), the Moon in Leo squares Uranus in Taurus. It's VOC for 6 hours 37 minutes, then enters Virgo (12:40 pm PDT). Try something new and hopefully it will be something you enjoy. [3:42] On May 7 (9:11 pm PDT), the Moon in Virgo opposes Saturn in Pisces. It's VOC for 2 hours 55 minutes, then enters Libra on May 8 (12:06 am PDT). Escape feelings of being underappreciated by using Virgo tactics to distract yourself. [5:02] On May 9 (11:17 pm PDT), the Moon in Libra trines Jupiter. It's VOC for 13 hours 41 minutes (!!!), then enters Scorpio on May 10 (12:58 pm PDT). Use this VOC Moon period to initiate the habit of focusing on the positive. Check out the Instagram account @thatgoodnewsgirl for a daily dose of positivity and especially this post that perfectly illustrated April 25's Venus-Saturn conjunction! [6:34] Mercury sextiles Jupiter on May 5 (10:21 am PDT) at 22º19' Aries- Gemini, a powerful combination for communication and major announcements. Look for some good news with Jupiter involved, but remember there could be more than meets the eye. Mercury is on the Sabian symbol 23 Aries, A woman in pastel colors carrying a heavy and valuable but veiled load. [9:03] Venus sextiles Pluto on May 6 (2:31 pm PDT) at 3°49' Aries-Aquarius. This is the third and final Venus-Pluto sextile aspect in a recent series, including on Feb. 7 and March 21. Look back at those dates to find similarities to what's happening for you now in relationships and money. When the planet of love and money meets Pluto, the Lord of the underworld, deep transformations, financial challenges, and psychological depths are explored. [11:10] Mercury enters Taurus (May 10, 5:15 am PDT). The first degree of Taurus is on the Sabian symbol: A clear mountain stream. Mental processes slow down but focus improves. Communication is more deliberate; speak in a tone that is warm and calm. Tackle problems that require patience and persistence, such as financial planning. Have you ever practiced yoga nidra (even if you haven't, stick with me) that asked you to cultivate an inner resource? Typically, these guided meditations rely on memory, which is not very reliable when it comes to sensations and embodiment. Heck, even according to the yoga sutras, memory is a block to yoga (memory is one of the 5 vrittis, and yoga is defined as the cessation of vrittis, or mind chatter). This new moon in sidereal Taurus marks the beginning of a long cycle of expansion (too much of a good thing can be a bad thing -- think mo' money mo' prolems) and upheaval when it comes to our sense of stability & security, especially related to our finances. So having an inner resource is more crucial than it's ever been! How do you cultivate an inner sense of safety amid life's eternal chaos? This episode is here to help :) We'll explore the concept of cultivating inner resources--why and how you should do it--in a way that doesn't rely on memory. In this episode, you'll learn how to embody stability and sensuality, harness the long-term cycles of Jupiter and Uranus in Taurus, and make the most of your financial growth. Plus, we'll share yoga practices and journal prompts to help you thrive, as always. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/yogiscopes/message
JOIN SHERI HORN HASAN @KARMIC EVOLUTION DOT COM starting May 24 at 11 a.m. PT & 2 p.m. ET when this week's podcast drops for more about Jupiter in Gemini for the next year & the higher meaning of the recent May 23 Sagittarius Full Moon! When the Sagittarius Moon opposed the Gemini Sun at this lunation, it highlighted for us all the shadow side of the Gemini archetype, because it reflected the light of the Sun back to itself, as do all full Moons. Thus, it asked us to release our attachment toward endless chatter & the tendency to run around in mental circles, which can create both confusion & mental exhaustion. The Sagittarius Moon reminded the Gemini Sun that there's a bigger picture—based on a wider interpretation of our personal philosophies—that can cure the Geminian tendency toward getting stuck in the local ‘hood & ignore that there's a wider world out there to which we are all connected. Without such consciousness, the Gemini archetype can get stuck in the maze of its own making (read: distracted by gossip & conspiracy theories) & engage in short-term tactics that don't advance us toward an actual long-term goal.A perfect metaphorical example is this: Imagine the Gemini Sun as a person wandering confusedly through the labyrinth's maze, unable to find an exit. The longer one walks, the more confused one gets as she loses all sense of direction.Well, when the Sagittarius Moon tells the Gemini Sun to “look up!” he's reminding this archetypal energy that there's a way out. If we can expand our mind beyond the narrower ken of being stuck in that labyrinth's seemingly endless mental rut, we can rise above & see its configuration more clearly. The difference boils down to a rat being stuck in a maze with no way out compared to the eagle soaring above who sees the exit clearly. And the Gemini Sun's trine to Pluto Rx in Aquarius at this lunation called us to take stock of the deeper meaning of our lives & to study what no longer works so that we may make changes. The intent is to reform the necessary parts of our lives so they may run more smoothly in the future. Venus entered Gemini then, too, which can help us communicate with others in more loving ways as long as we watch out for superficial communication. So, as Jupiter enters Gemini May 25 for the next year until June 9, 2025, he will expand the Geminian archetype's potential. However, it goes without saying (though I'll say it anyway, lol) that this means it will expand both the good, bad, & the ugly. So, get ready for the expansion of new ideas, ways of communicating, more reading, writing, talking about, & discussing of, ideas. But be prepared also for Gemini's shadow side to rear its ugly head in the form of more mis- & disinformation & propaganda, gossip, fickle behavior, & conspiracy theories. However, since Jupiter-ruled Sagittarius is the sign of higher knowledge & expansion of consciousness, and includes in its archetypal range the subject of law, we may well see an expansion of legal applications to combat Gemini's shadow side energies. So, if we can keep the focus on the positive of Gemini's energies, which include talking, teaching, writing--& the reception of information through listening, learning, reading, & observing—we can make the highest use of Jupiter's transit through Gemini over the next year.Join us @KARMIC EVOLUTION DOT COM to hear more about the repercussions already being felt from the May 23 Sagittarius Full Moon, Jupiter's year-long move into Gemini May 25, & the upcoming astrological energies for this next week! These include current events as related to astrological ones, such as how the May 26 conjunction of Mars/Hygeia (goddess asteroid of health) & current Ceres/Chiron cardinal square in the sky may bring more famine in places like Gaza & Haiti before warring parties agree to a solution. (Ceres is the goddess of the grain, related to sustenance as both food & faith.)And whether Mars conjunct Chiron in Aries May 29 will result in a continued outcry by other nations (as Jupiter expands Gemini's ability to broadcast perspectives & opinions, along with its capacity for legal interpretation) for sanctions against Israel. And whether we'll hear a sudden announcement by the time Mercury conjoins with Uranus in Taurus May 30/31 (read: a jury verdict in the current Trump trial, maybe?) Stay tuned for all this & more Astro News You Can Use when you tune into this week's “Karmic Evolution's Astrologically Speaking” podcast which drops today! See you later! Namaste…

This is your daily horoscope for Tuesday, May 7, 2024, and the most important aspects of the day:
This horoscope is for the new moon in Taurus, which happens on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 11:21 p.m. ET.We are now trying to sustain some new approach to life in which we rest, relax, be at ease, and receive. We are also trying to become more confident in this approach.Well, at this new moon in Taurus, it is working! We are starting to become more accepting of this restful lifestyle, and do it even more than we have before. That then allows us to be more introspective — and learn more about ourselves, our needs, and our values.Because we are resting, going inwards, and learning about ourselves, we then have some sudden and unexpected insights about things in our lives that aren't working that we need to break free from (especially as it regards money, our skills, our self-worth, our physical appearance, and our vitality). We also begin to realize suddenly and unexpectedly what new and better things we now need to bring into our lives (especially as it regards money, our skills, our self-worth, our physical appearance, and our vitality).Positive unexpected events may also occur to help us facilitate this transition. This can take the form of new or better money sources, new or better use of skills, more confidence, and new or better physical appearance and vitality. It could feel a bit startling in the moment as it occurs, and shake some of our stability (or the things we used to previously rely on). It could also require a lot of thoughts or conversations to work through. However, I think deep down we know these opportunities are very good — and have more of the courage than before to make this transition. As a result, we will feel like our lives are changing in positive ways that are more secure and enduring (which is what we have been trying to do for quite some time). We will also feel more at peace about our situation and trusting of a higher power.Contents of this audio ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬(00:00) - Introduction(02:47) - General Themes(06:35) - Past Context(20:00) - Specifics(42:15) - Summary(45:15) - Other Notes(01:04:15) - Inside Degrees(01:07:45) - TarotThe song in my video is "Escape" by Sappheiros, under a Creative Commons license (CC BY 3.0). If this episode resonates please repost, share, and tag me @ _Cosmicdee on IG! To book a consultation https://linktr.ee/DeannaFerro You made it, you survived the eclipse season! Now what? As May continues to progress I wanted to take some time to share my insights around the Uranus/ Sun conjunction (May 9-11) and Venus moving into the sign of Cancer (May 7- early June). We also have Jupiter moving into Taurus May 16/17, which will conveniently be squaring Pluto and soon to be Mars. I want to be honest and raw around how I see the world and how that view is ALWAYS shifting and expanding. As a fellow human, just like yourself, I enjoy sharing my lower vibrations so you can see how to alchemize an ungrateful or shitty perspective. Alchemizing our emotions is how we practice equilibrium. The Sun's cazimi with Uranus in my 12th house gave me some electric insights which calmed my mental state of existence. I also wanted to share how beautiful the first few days of Venus in Cancer had me feeling around the age old saying, "falling in love". I think so many of us see the phrase "falling in love" from an upside down lens. It almost feels like we use the words falling in love more along the lines of rising to love- have a listen and let me know your thoughts! xox Dee

The second Mercury retrograde of 2022 begins at 4 deg Gemini on May 10 and travels back to 26 deg Taurus until June 3, covering important territory that opened up with the Taurus Lunar Eclipse in Nov 2021 and the North Node's journey in the first months of 2022. Mercury moves back into Taurus so we can gain clarity, strength, and stability on what is truly important for you now based on what you want – not what others need or want from you. Taurus energy helps us dig into our self-worth and personal value systems even more, including assessing the quality of what is in your life and if it still connects with you. Pluto RX in Capricorn is trining Mercury RX in Taurus as well, supporting the transformation process and what you can see from a higher perspective now.
