Oggi parliamo della giornata dell'Andalusia, che si celebra il 28 febbraio in commemorazione del referendum del 1980 con cui gli andalusi scelsero di essere comunità autonoma. Cosa che furono in realtà effettivamente il 30 dicembre 1981.Blas Infante, politico e scrittore, sottolineò la cultura andalusa e viene considerato come il padre dell patria andalusa. Nel 1918 organizzò l'assemblea regionalista andalusa a Ronda, e fu lì che nacque la famosa bandiera bianca e verde andalusa, che conosciamo perché in quella terra sventola ovunque. E' il verde della speranza, delle campagne andaluse, ma anche, essendo il tipico colore dell'Islam, il verde simboleggia anche il dominio arabo. E il bianco esprime la pace. Durante le feste per questa ricorrenza, i politici attribuiscono premi e fanno discorsi ufficiali.L'inno è astato composto da Blas Infante. L'andalusia è molto campanilista, se ci sei stato lo sai. Aveva un modo di cantare molto enfatico e con il cuore in mano, e il suo canto è, per un Andaluso, molto toccante. Ascoltiamolo!Nel 2005 è stato prodotto un cd "Flamenco andalucia y la humanidad", nel quale il testo dell'inno è stato cantato e suonato da vari aartisti del flamenco, facendolo aderire a vari palos flamenchi, sfruttando la plasticità dei versi ottosillabi che lo compongono, e creando opere interessanti. Ascoltiamo la versione por tango de Granada di Marina Heredia e quella por Alegrias di Chano Lobato per la chitarra di Diego del Morao. In Andalucia c'è una attenzione tremenda allo spirito di identificazione verso la cultura! Gli andalusi sono prima andalusi che spagnoli. Feliz Dia de Andalucia!Sono Sabina Todaro, mi occupo di flamenco e di danze e musiche del mondo arabo dal 1985, e insegno baile flamenco e Lyrical Arab Dance dal 1990 a Milano al Mosaico Danza. Mi stupisce sempre l'amore che gli andalusi hanno verso la loro terra ma ce l'hanno perché è stato coltivato!In Italia facciamo persino fatica a conoscere l'inno nazionale... immaginiamo un inno locale!Il collegamento  fra Andalucia e flamenco è enorme e occorre quindi parare di Andalusia studiando il flamenco

Nos paramos en la población de Peranzanes, con sus pedazo de 270 habitantes, y con su pedazo de gentilicio, peranzaneto o peranzaneta. Posiblemente también peranza aguirre. Es uno de los pocos municipios Leoneses que son bilingües porque allí se habla leonés, que viene a ser lo mismo que el astur leonés, que si no se os acordáis pero cuando estuvimos en Oseja de Sajambre consiste en cambiar las J por Y, y ya estaría el idioma aprendido. Numerosos yacimientos atestiguan la presencia humana desde la protohistoria, ya que hay muchísimos castros por la zona. Ah que no sabéis que es la protohistoria? Del grigo protos, primero, y del latin historia que no tiene misterio. Es una fase no muy bien definida entre la prehistoria y la edad antigua. Es como cuando los andaluces decimos una mijita…el término cuantitativamente no está muy bien definido. Lo que es Peranzanes, como tal,no se formó hasta la Edad Media, cuando varias localidades de la zona se unieron al Reino de León. Hay una curiosidad, y que que peranzanes formó parte a partir de 1821 de una provincia que ya hoy no existe, la provincia del Vierzo, con V, que es lo que viene siendo hoy día el Bierzo con B, y que tuvo entidad autónoma de provincia durante el trienio liberal. El trienio liberal como su nombre indica duró tres años, de 1820 al 1823. El periodo anterior es el Sexenio Absolutista, y el posterior la Década Ominosa. Es una trilogía como las de star wars, las buenas, las tres primeras. Ya desde 1833 forma parte de la provincia de León. El patrimonio de Peranzanes es mayoritariamente natural, ya que forma parte de los áncares leoneses, la zona que está entre León y Lugo y Ourense. Dentro de los ancares se encuentra el llamado Valle de Fornela. Es una zona que es muy de pizarras, calizas, filitas, areniscas y cuarcitas, vamos, piedras. En sus montes crecen robles, castaños, avellanos, arándanos, hayas, tojos y abedules, vamos, árboles., En resumen el valle de Fornela son Piedras y árboles. Su patrimonio principal son los Castros de Trascano y de Chano. El de Chano fue habitado desde el siglo I AC hasta el siglo I DC, vamos, dos siglos Sus fiestas son en honor de San Lorenzo, y duran un taco de días. El día 10 de agosto es el día de San Lorenzo, y hacen una misa, y acaban con una chocolatada. Ya no hay más fiesta hasta el 13 de agosto, pero ya duran hasta el 17 de agosto. Aquesta setmana comencem l'extraordinari nou disc de Niño de Elche dedicat al cante gitano de Manuel Torre, seguim amb les descobertes dels debuts del guitarrista Abdoulaye Kouyaté de Guinea Conakry i del Accra Quartet i la seva improvització jazz des de Ghana, i acabem fusionant el record i el concert recomanant amb l'homenatge als 10 anys sense Paco de Lucía amb el concert de Chano Domínguez en el Festival de Jazz de Barcelona tot escoltat i recordant el disc 10 de Paco amb Chano i Jorge Pardo.

Seguimos con los monográficos estivales dedicados a una de las grandes figuras del jazz de nuestro país, el pianista Chano Domínguez. Retomamos la historia en 2006 con su trabajo a trio "Acércate más". También recordaremos "New Flamenco Sound" (2006), uno de sus trabajos más sólidos y recordados en el que se adentró con todas las de la ley en la experimentación entre el flamenco, el jazz y otras muchas influencias musicales que le interesaban, como la música medieval o la hindú. Tambien escucharemos algún corte de su colaboración con el cubano Paquito D´Rivera o su interesante disco "Piano ibérico" (2009) donde pone en valor a compositores como Albéniz, Falla, Granados o Mompou. Una de las colaboraciones mas interesantes de la siguiente década es la que llevó a Chano a colaborar nuevamente con el trompetista norteamericano Wynton Marsalis, que contó con él en su "Vitoria Suite" (2010). El propio Chano quiso experimentar un par de años mas tarde con otro clásico del jazz y el resultado fue su interesante directo "Flamenco Sketches" (2012), donde recreó, en el Jazz Standard de Nueva York, todos los temas del mítico "Kind of Blue" de Miles Davis, trasladándolos al universo del flamenco. El programa termina con "Chano & Josele" (2014), un disco producido por Fernando Trueba para su sello Calle 54 Records en el que Chano realizó un dúo con el guitarrista almeriense Niño Josele.

Continuamos con los monográficos de verano dedicados a una de las grandes figuras del jazz de nuestro país, el pianista Chano Domínguez. En el primer capítulo le dejamos a finales del siglo XX, cuando editaba su 'En directo. Piano solo' (1997), grabado en el Café Central de Madrid, y con ese disco retomamos la historia. A continuación repasaremos algunos de sus discos más importantes editados en los inicios del siglo XXI. Trabajos tan destacados como 'Imán' (2000) u 'Oye como viene' (2022), en los que su inmersión en el flamenco ya es mucho más evidente, contando incluso con algunos excelentes cantaores como Enrique Morente o Blas de Córdoba 'El Kejío'. También por esa época editó su disco 'Tú no sospechas'(2000), a dúo con la cantante cubana Marta Valdéz, más orientado al bolero, así como su participación en el proyecto Jazzpaña, que presentaba su segunda entrega en aquel mismo año. Tras su participación en el documental 'Calle 54', de Fernando Trueba, Chano obtuvo un gran impulso a nivel internacional, que le llevó a grabar el disco con el que finalizamos este episodio, 'Con alma' (2003), acompañado de dos pesos pesados del jazz norteamericano, el contrabajista George Mraz y el batería Jeff Ballard.

Magnífico trabajo protagonizado en 2006 por Pancho Céspedes con la complicidad del pianista Gonzalo Rubalcaba,. Travesía musical completada por Dagoberto González en violín, René Toledo en guitarra, Carlos Miyares en saxo tenor, Yasek Manzano en trompeta, Maykel Elizalde en el tres, Ignacio Berroa en drums y Carlos del Puerto en contrabajo. Todos con el respaldo del poderoso emporio discográfico norteamericano Warner. Dentro de la historia cultural del barrio de Cayo Hueso, tendremos que volver, una y otra vez, al reconocimiento necesario de sus rumberos. Algo de la obra del percusionista, rumbero y compositor Luciano "Chano" Pozo acompañará este segmento del programa. Arsenio Rodríguez en el tres, y Chano en las tumbadoras. Los tesoros de la música popular cubana: La voz y los tambores de Chano. Buen recuerdo para el importante pianista, arreglista y compositor Pedro Justiz, bien conocido en el ambiente artístico musical con el sobrenombre de "Peruchín". Nacido en la localidad oriental de Banes en 1913 como muchos de sus contemporáneos se trasladó a La Habana en busca de mejor fortuna. Su paso por jazz bands de la región oriental de la isla, entre las que sobresalieron la orquesta Chepín Chovén y la de Mariano Mercerón, le permitieron desarrollar un riquísimo diapasón creativo. En el teclado blanquinegro Peruchín combinó lo más genuino de la música popular cubana con elementos del jazz. Ya en la capital de la república, en plena esfervescencia la era de los jazz bands y los conjuntos soneros, con un concepto melódico y armónico adelantado a su tiempo, no le resultó difícil figurar en bandas de primera línea como la "Casino de la Playa" y la "Riverside". Con el auge de la industria discográfica independiente participó en numerosas sesiones de estudio. El 24 de diciembre del año 1977, falleció “Peruchín”, uno de los grandes de la música popular cubana que habrá que tener siempre muy en cuenta. A propósito de barrios rumberos como Cayo Hueso, el rastro de sus toques y cantos nos conduce a la vida y obra del gran Virgilio Martí. Completamente desconocido por muchos músicos cubanos, dentro y fuera de la isla, en el Nueva York de los años sesenta y hasta su muerte en 1995, defendió con fuerza y verdad, el legado de la rumba y el guaguancó. Hasta el sol de hoy sus intervenciones en los míticos álbumes de "Patato y Totico" y el Grupo Folklórico y Experimental Nuevayorquino, son referentes importantes.

Lejos de Cuba mantuvieron frescas, hasta el final de sus días, las raíces de la música popular de su tierra. Así comenzamos recordando a los muchachos del Bronx: Patato, Totico, Virgilio Martí, los hermanos Cadavieco, entre otros rumberos que, respaldados por la grandeza musical de Arsenio Rodríguez y Cachao López, efectuaron estás míticas grabaciones en Nueva York, finalizando los años sesenta. Los musicales años 40 cubanos vibrando al compás de los estremecimientos sociales, políticos y económicos. Cascarita, primero con la jazz band Casino de la Playa, con Pérez Prado al piano estrenando sus delirios rítmicos y armónicos, y seguidamente con otra importante formación de la época: la Hermanos Palau. Mambo, swing y guaracha en sintonía con el diario vivir de los cubanos. Sátira y libertad de expresión en los repertorios de los músicos de entonces. Panchito Cruz con la orquesta del Casino Nacional y Joseito Fernández completan la fórmula. María Cervantes, importante pianista y cantante, abrió un camino singular en la interpretación de boleros, guarachas y danzas. Su desenfadado estilo resonó en un artista que llevaría al máximo esa manera de interpretar y decir las piezas: Bola de Nieve. En dos tiempos María Cervantes con sus canciones y su piano. Primero desde el catálogo norteamericano Columbia del año 1929, y luego, reapareciendo en sus ochenta años ante el público habanero, inagotable su espléndido estilo. Nos despedimos con rumba y con swing recordando la grandiosa obra del percusionista, compositor, rumbero y bailarín Luciano "Chano" Pozo. Dizzy Gillespie, el Quinteto de música moderna con Frank Emilio a la cabeza, y el gran Miguelito Valdés cierran en grande el programa.
