"I would say, try not to attack too much vs. Uruguay because the counter-attack will be very difficult for the USA team to defend, which was something that we've done for so many years. Now I think it's a little bit different (...) Maybe at the moment, Uruguay is a team that tries to pass the ball and wants to go to the goal directly."Herc had a candid conversation with Diego Forlan, Uruguay's legend, Copa America Champion, former Manchester United player, and the current ambassador of La Liga in Spain. Diego shared why he and the Jabulani ball were a trending topic during the World Cup South Africa 2010 with Uruguay. He also delved into his friend Luis Suarez's recent signing with Messi's Inter Miami, Manchester United's current situation, his role as an ambassador in La Liga, and some Copa America 2024 talk. Plus, Herc shared his thoughts about the recent rumors of Alphonso Davies transferring to Real Madrid.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Cristiano Ronaldo has exclusively told Talk TV that he's been made to look like the "bad guy" and that people are always going to find a way to criticise him, but the former Chelsea defender Jason Cundy slams his lack of self-awareness in his interview with Piers Morgan. The former Man United striker Diego Forlan says it's sad to see what is happening with the Portuguese forward. Elsewhere, Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount believes there's a belief in the squad that England can go on and win the World Cup out in Qatar, whilst the Everton defender Conor Coady says he is offended when people say the Three Lions' weakest area on the field is their defence. The former Sunderland striker Asamoah Gyan reveals he's never spoken to Luis Suarez after that infamous handball which prevented Ghana from reaching the World Cup semi-finals in 2010. Finally, the England Rugby captain Owen Farrell says he's more excited to see what they can do against New Zealand than he is receiving his 100th cap when the two sides meet at Twickenham on Saturday, but Head Coach Eddie Jones and prop Ellis Genge pay tribute to the fly-half on reaching a significant milestone. Stamford Chidge is joined by Jonathan Kydd and Mark Meehan to look back at the 2002-03 season.Chelsea began the season with only one signing, Quique De Lucas, the scurrying midfielder from Espanyol on a free. Money was tight and runours abounded that Chelsea were in financial trouble and as a consequence would have to off load big nae stars such as Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Gianfranco Zola.As it was Chelsea began the season in decent form with draws against Arsenal and Man Utd and a 3-0 home win against fancied Newcastle. A last minute goal by former non-league player Ben Wright in the first leg of the UEFA Cup first round against Norwegian part timers, Viking FK, should have been no more than an irritant. But it came back to haunt Chelsea as they were knocked out of Europe for the 3rd season in a row by lowly opponents with a 4:2 defeat to the Vikings in the second leg, sandwiched in between a 3:2 defeat at home to struggling West Ham.Thankfully, form picked up and it was to be two months before Chelsea suffered defeat again, at the hands of Man Utd in the Worthington Cup courtesy of a rarity, a Diego Forlan goal.Chelsea finished the year in 2nd position in the Premier League and could have been top had it not been for the infernal tinkering of manager, Claudio Ranieri. Gudjohnsen and Hasselbaink were not scoring the goals they had the season before, but Gianfranco Zola was having a renaissance, at one stage the Premier League's top goal scorer and scoring some eye opening goals.Could Chelsea mount a realisitc challenge for the Premier League title in the New Year and break the Arsenal and Utd duopoly? Was it more likely that we could have another crack at the FA Cup, going one better than last season? See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
