The Seahawks have been busy this past week with roster moves as Nick Vannett was traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers for a 2020 fifth round draft pick. Rather than bring up Jacob Hollister from the practice squad, Seattle decides to bring back free agent tight end Luke Willson. Adrian Colbert, who was signed to the practice squad was promoted to the active roster and while Gary Jennings looked to be the initial casualty of that move, it ended up being defensive tackle Bryan Mone. Brandan joins Anthony to talk about some of the biggest moments that led to the loss against the Saints and looks ahead to the matchup with Kyler Murray who had a dismal YPA in last week's game against the Panthers. Will they change up how they've been operating early on this season and start to challenge teams downfield as part of their Week 4 matchup with the Seahawks? In the second hour, Cliff Avril and Jason Puckett discuss wide receiver Gary Jennings' spot on the Seattle Seahawks roster, 950 KJR Reporter Curtis Crabtree unveils his 53-man Seahawks roster projection, then the guys discuss the Pac-12 football games last night.
The Seahawks defeat the Los Angeles Chargers in week 3 of the preseason and Russell Wilson looked good once again behind a strong offensive line. Rob Staton of Seahawks Draft Blog joins Brandan to talk about the game and how mcuh has changed to now have the line seemingly as a strength of the team (2:52). In a bit of a frustrating development, C.J. Prosise looked great on his carries (6:09), and it makes you wonder how things would have changed in recent years with a healthy Prosise at running back. Tyler locked at John Ursua both had big gains in the game (8:40), Rob talks about the suddenness that Ursua has demonstrated in limited time and how we should expect to see him on the 53-man roster. Who else gets kept at that position (10:23), particularly with Gary Jennings and Jazz Ferguson not showing much? While the offense appears to be the strength of the team, Rob has some positive notes with regard to the Seahawks defense (17:40). After the break, Rob and Brandan talk about the news of Andrew Luck's retirement (24:22) and reflect back on the Seahawks 2012 Draft class (27:05). Rob wonders how the Seahawks would be perceived now had they selected Russell Wilson at 15 overall in 2012? (28:50). Over on the Seahawks Draft Blog, Rob has a recent post on the college football players to watch in 2019 (34:33) and how he lists Jordan Love among Top 3 QBs to watch in college this season (38:25). We look at an early mock draft to discuss a Michigan State pass rusher that is linked to the Seahawks (40:09). Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
RotoUnderworld Radio Fantasy Football Podcast - Mind of Mansion, Ep 451: The Podfather Matt Kelley (@Fantasy_Mansion) and Evan Silva (@evansilva) are vigorously targeting Allen Robinson in all formats. A complete breakdown of Josh Gordon's serendipitous reinstatement. How will Gordon's presence impact Tom Brady, Julian Edelman, N'Keal Harry, and Jakobi Meyers? Melvin Gordon is more at-risk of missing games than Ezekiel Elliott. What is the Kerryon Johnson's downside? Justice Hill will be a top-15 fantasy running back. Amari Cooper's foot injury is not insignificant. Tyler Boyd is trending in the right direction. Tyler Eifert is a bridge to Chris Herndon. Marlon Mack looks more and more like a bell cow every day. Better value: Evan Engram in the 6th or David Njoku in the 8th? Jordan Reed is one of the few No. 1 receiver tight ends. With Keke Coutee hurt, Deshaun Watson still be the QB1. The Texans difficult schedule actually helps Duke Johnson in a satellite back role. Marquez Valdes-Scantling in the sixth too aggressive, because Geronimo Allison is not going away. Get Miles Sanders if you want to win fantasy leagues. Will Matt Breida be the big winner in San Francisco this season? Deebo Samuel is trending toward a major role on the 49ers. Odell Beckham is the ceiling play and Michael Thomas is the floor play in the last first round. Is Mike Evans a compiler? Keenan Allen is aesthetically pleasing, but is he a good fantasy football value? Could Kirk Cousins suffer a career low pass attempts under Zimmer-Stefanski? Robby Anderson is going to be on lock down for the first half of the season. Is this a problem? In best ball, who you got: Devin Funchess or Parris Campbell? Is Allen Robinson immune to bad quarterback play? Do not conflate George Kittle with bust-lock Zach Ertz. Ty Montgomery has surpassed Elijah McGuire. If Brian Hill is the next man up in Atlanta, what about Ito Smith? D.K. Metcalf is hurt, and Gary Jennings is trending toward bust. Time to ride David Moore in the final rounds of drafts? The Seahawks mini camp wrapped up this past week and Russell Wilson took to the podium on Wednesday to talk about his plans to continue to work with receivers in the upcoming weeks and how he feels about D.K. Metcalf. Wilson says Metcalf has been "looking really, really special" and was among the group Wilson pointed to for guys to step up with the departure of Doug Baldwin. He also talks about rookie Gary Jennings and how he coached his YMCA basketball team "back in the day." Russ also talks about the offensive line and from the way he lists off the five starters, it sounds as though the line has already solidified, which is something we haven't seen from the Seahawks in a while. Sonic Truth Fantasy Football Podcast, Ep 95: The Podfather Matt Kelley (@Fantasy_Mansion) and Nate Liss (@AnOutragedJew) highlight the best and worst landing spots for the top running backs and wide receivers in the NFL Draft. Who are the top-5 players to target in dynasty league rookie drafts? The rich teams who use analytics are getting richer in the NFL. D.K. Metcalf cried with joy upon being drafted by the Seattle Seahawks, and Gary Jennings may outproduce him this season. John Ursua is nothing more than a punt and kick returner. The Phil Haynes selection showed that the Seahawks are committing to protecting Russell Wilson. A.J. Brown's dynasty stock is falling after the NFL Draft. Parris Campbell landed in the perfect spot in Indianapolis. Deebo Samuel was the big winner of the NFL Draft. Andy Isabella is the perfect fit for Kyler Murray in Arizona. Hakeem Butler is not the best wide receiver prospect of all time. N'Keal Harry is the No. 1 wide receiver in dynasty rookie drafts. J.J. Arcega-Whiteside is a year away from being a year away. Terry McLaurin will be out-produced by Kelvin Harmon who went to a thin wide receiver depth chart. Marquise Brown looks a lot like Phillip Dorsett. Miles Sanders is the new 1.01 in dynasty rookie drafts. Josh Jacobs is rising in the wake of a first round selection. David Montgomery should be selected before any wide receiver in dynasty rookie drafts. Did Darrell Henderson ironically "Tre Mason" Todd Gurley? Dwayne Haskins is a 1.02 lock in superflex leagues. The Seattle Seahawks 2019 Draft class has been finalized and the team comes away with 11 draft picks after having only four selections a week ago. John Schneider made a record number of trades and even traded up on a couple occasions including a move up into the second round to pick up a wide receiver who was initially expected to be one of the first off the board in the entire draft.Rob Staton and Brandan Schulze run through the selections from the Seahawks draft and talk about what will be one of the biggest criticisms of the draft and how the team may have a plan for addressing additional needs along the defensive line. Rob talks about how Seattle could even consider going after Jadeveon Clowney, with the rumors that the Houston Texans may have been looking to get into a deal with the Kansas City Chiefs.A report came out during the draft that Doug Baldwin may have played his last snap in the NFL and is considering retirement. Rob talks about how that could have played a role in the Seahawks grabbing two receivers with their first five picks. The slide down the draft board for D.K. Metcalf was a long one and when the Seahawks selected him at the end of round two, the emotion came out in his phone call with Schneider and Pete Carroll. Tune in to hear discussions around each one of the Seahawks selections: L.J. Collier, Marquise Blair, D.K. Sonic Truth Fantasy Football Podcast, Ep 89: The Podfather Matt Kelley (@Fantasy_Mansion and Nate Liss (@AnOutragedJew) are joined by @LifesYourCup to compare and contrast the next level athleticism of D.K. Metcalf vs. Parris Campbell. Miles Sanders could be the No. 1 running back in this anemic draft class. Damien Harris outplayed Josh Jacobs all along, and that matters. Darrell Henderson was the most efficiency running back in college football history, and that matters. How did so many film grinders miss Alex Barnes? Is David Montgomery overrated? Justice Hill may be athletic, but he's not a primary back at the next level. Who was a bigger loser at the NFL Scouting Combine: Devin Singletary or Elijah Holyfield? Josh Jacobs, Rodney Anderson, and Bryce Love actually won the combine by not participating. K’Neal Harry is the class of this wide receiver class. A.J. Brown was the true alpha at Mississippi. Parris Campbell is not Cordarrelle Patterson 2.0. Andy Isabella deserves to crack the top-5 wide receiver prospects. Hakeem Butler possesses rare size and ball skills. Deebo Samuel is a plug-and-play NFL flanker. Gary Jennings was the most athletic and productive WVU receiver. David Sills has a the best nickname in the class. Emanuel Hall is the size-speed specimen that more people should be talking about. Terry McLaurin is a sports car. Jazz Ferguson looks like small school DK Metcalf. Felton Davis is an upside extrapolation play. Greg Dortch looks the part of a volume slot receiver. Does Myles Boykin have a future in the NFL? Emmanuel Butler broke hearts at the NFL Scouting Combine. Who is the next DK Metcalf? Advanced metrics, prospect evaluations, and fantasy football information were provided by PlayerProfiler.com

This is one of the most intriguing Mountaineer bowl games in a long time. What in the world is going to happen?WVU will be playing without record setting quarterback Will Grier, receiver Gary Jennings, and starting tackle Yodny Cajuste. With Dana Holgorsen returning to call plays and two new quarterbacks ready to take their shot, exactly what what WVU will look like remains a mystery. Hoppy Kercheval, Brad Howe, and Tony Caridi discuss the possibilities and ask the question of whether this is really the final game of the 2018 season or the start of the 2019 campaign.
