Welcome again to another episode of Old Time Radio Horror, part of our 2024 Halloween Celebration. Today we're returning to an old favorite series to pull an episode from: "Suspense." The episode we're listening to is called "Ghost Hunt," having first aired on June 23. 1949. It's about a Radio host known for crazy stunts spending a night in a haunted house. While there, he tries to seek out the spirits of the four people who committed suicide inside the house, but he finds a lot more than he expected. So now - relax, turn down the lights, and sit back and enjoy this Suspense episode, Ghost Hunt.

This Saturday on Vintage Classic Radio's "Saturday Matinee", we're kicking off with a delightful spookfest from the "Ozzie and Harriet" radio show in the episode title "Haunted House", which first aired on October 31st, 1948. In this episode, Ozzie and Harriet Nelson investigate a supposedly haunted house, navigating a series of comedic scares and misunderstandings. The cast features Ozzie Nelson as Ozzie, Harriet Nelson as Harriet, along with their real-life sons David and Ricky Nelson playing themselves. October 31, 2022 - This past weekend Mendocino county started the celebration of the spookiest holiday of the year, Halloween, n ancient celebration tied to the harvest and in many cultures also has a connection with the spiritual world. In modern western cultures, Halloween is a time when people of all ages have the opportunity to dress up as their favorite characters and go door to door collecting candy.

Halloween Celebrations 10/25/2022

For those who get involved, Halloween celebrations haven't been fully marked in three years due to COVID-19 restrictions. Until today.

Many revellers killed and injured in a crush as crowds gather in central Seoul. We hear from a BBC reporter who was at the scene.
