It's Thursday, April 24th, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 125 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark India Supreme Court heard appeal about anti-conversion laws India's Supreme Court heard an appeal last week against anti-conversion laws in the country. The advocacy group Citizens for Justice and Peace has filed petitions against such laws since 2020. Twelve out of India's 28 states have anti-conversion laws. International Christian Concern warns of a “pattern of abuse by Hindu radical groups, who use the laws to initiate false complaints and pressure law enforcement to act against individual Christians and their communities, often without credible evidence.” U.S. military presence in Syria cut in half The United States is preparing to cut its military presence in Syria by half over the coming months. The U.S. military has about 2,000 troops in the Middle Eastern country. Sean Parnell, the chief spokesman for the Pentagon, said, “Recognizing the success the United States has had against ISIS, including its 2019 territorial defeat under President Trump, today the Secretary of Defense directed the consolidation of U.S. forces in Syria under Combined Joint Task Force.” Trump: 145% tariff on Chinese goods will come down On Tuesday, President Donald Trump said that his 145% tariff on imports from China will likely come down. TRUMP: 145% is very high. It won't be that high. We were talking about fentanyl, where various elements built it up to 145%. No, it won't be anywhere near that high. But it won't be zero. Used to be zero. “We were just destroyed. China was taking us for a ride, and it's not going to happen. We're going to be very good to China. Have a great relationship with President Xi. But they would make billions and billions and billions of dollars a year, and they would build their military out of the United States, and what they made. So that won't happen, but they're going to do very well.” White House spokesman Kush Desai told FOX Business that the U.S. is not looking to unilaterally lower tariffs and that China must a agree to a trade deal. Trump's Task Force to Eradicate Anti-Christian Bias meets On Tuesday, Trump administration officials held the inaugural meeting of the Task Force to Eradicate Anti-Christian Bias in the federal government. Attorney General Pamela Bondi hosted the meeting. BONDI: “As President Trump has stated, the Biden administration engaged in an egregious pattern of targeting peaceful Christians while ignoring violent, anti-Christian offenses. The President is right. “Biden's Department of Justice abused and targeted Christians. Pro-life Christians were arrested and imprisoned for peacefully praying outside abortion clinics. The FBI spied on traditional Catholics in their parishes. President Biden declared Easter Sunday to be Transgender Day of Visibility. No longer.” Romans 13:3 says, “For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same.” 5 million student loan borrowers who stopped paying need to start again The U.S. Department of Education announced Monday that it will resume collections of defaulted federal student loans. The Department has not collected on such loans since 2020. Currently, over 42 million borrowers owe more than $1.6 trillion in student debt. And over five million borrowers have not made a monthly payment in the last three years. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon said, “American taxpayers will no longer be forced to serve as collateral for irresponsible student loan policies.” Notorious abortionist closes Colorado abortion mill The oldest and most notorious abortionist in Colorado announced he is closing his abortion mill. Warren Hern, age 86, opened the Boulder Abortion Clinic in 1975, killing thousands of unborn babies since then. In an interview with Channel 9 in Denver two years ago, Hern described his work of killing babies this way. HERN: “I have always felt this is an extremely important service, and there's never been a time when it's less important.” But you get a fuller appreciation of the mindset of abortionist Hern from a speech he gave via video at a Boulder pro-abortion march on July 9, 2022, just days after Roe v. Wade had been overturned on June 22, 2022. HERN: “The Republican Party is the face of fascism in America. Fox News is the voice of fascism in America. The ideology of this fascism is rooted in the white supremacist, Christian nationalist movement that has taken control of the Republican Party. “Your response to this mortal danger to women and to democracy in America must be to support every Democratic candidate for public office and to defeat every single Republican candidate for public office. Nothing else will do.” Troy Newman with Operation Rescue commented on the closure. He said, “Operation Rescue has some thirty years of history with this clinic – everything from activism on the sidewalk, documenting abortion injuries, filing complaints, and other legal efforts to expose wrongdoing. … We cannot praise God enough for the closure of this monstrous killing center.” Proverbs 10:6-7 says, “Blessings are on the head of the righteous, but violence covers the mouth of the wicked. The memory of the righteous is blessed, but the name of the wicked will rot.” Definition of a regular churchgoer A recent study from Lifeway Research found 53% of U.S. adults consider someone a regular churchgoer if they attend services at least weekly. A previous study found a similar amount of Protestant churchgoers agree. However, only 16% of Protestant pastors say that regular churchgoers attend at least once a week. Scott McConnell, executive director of Lifeway Research, noted, “Pastors … are seeing churchgoers attend less often. But when Americans hear ‘regular churchgoer,' they picture someone attending every week or very close to it.” 18.6 million engaged with YouVersion Bible on Resurrection Sunday And finally, the YouVersion Bible app saw a record 18.6 million people engaging with Scripture on Resurrection Sunday this year. That's up 11% compared to last year. Leading up to Resurrection Sunday, Bible engagement increased by over 20% across Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia. Bobby Gruenewald, the CEO of YouVersion Bible app, said they're seeing more interest in the Bible on other days too: “many of our record days for engagement have happened on seemingly ordinary days this year, with no specific reason for the spikes -- except that God is on the move.” Close And that's The Worldview on this Thursday, April 24th, in the year of our Lord 2025. In this Easter special on The John Lovell Show, we dive into the Biden admin's 2024 "Transgender Day of Visibility" on Easter vs. Trump's Christ-focused 2025 message. Can politics and religion ever be separate? We explore why the church must address moral issues like abortion. Plus, hot topics: Blue Origin's all-woman mission, Meryl Streep as Aslan in Netflix's Narnia, and JD Vance's trophy fumble. Q&A covers self-control, concealed carry, and military marriages.
Donald Trump just released a powerful Easter proclamation—and it's gone viral for all the right reasons. In this special Strang Report episode, bestselling author Stephen Strang (God and Donald Trump) reveals how Trump's unapologetically Christian message contrasts sharply with President Biden's controversial "Transgender Day of Visibility" proclamation—issued on Easter Sunday. Strang breaks down Trump's surprising spiritual background, his connection to evangelical leaders, and why his presidency may be a modern-day parallel to biblical figures like Cyrus or Jehu. You'll also hear Trump's Easter proclamation read in full—celebrating the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Last year we did an entire livestream on how the Biden administration chose to celebrate Easter, most notably by declaring March 31, Easter, as Transgender Day of Visibility. It was the inauguration of a new religion, but one that in God's grace appears to have been short lived. A mere year later, with Trump in the office, we got a robust, theological celebration of Easter from the highest office in the land. Not just well wishes or platitudes about God's love for us, but an assertion of how in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ we have redemption and forgiveness for our sins and the hope of eternal life. Now in the midst of every “we're so back” is an “it's so over” moment. This year, while the threat to Easter is certainly not as pronounced and obvious as under the Biden presidency, a new, or perhaps old, plan of the enemy is being run.See, the story of Easter is in part, the story of a rebellious people. In one sense, we are the rebellious people, turning everyone to our own way and needing the death of the spotless lamb of God to atone for our sin. But it also is a historical story, in which Christ came to His own, and His own received Him not. Christ was offered up to death by the Jews, and they have opposed him, the apostles, and mankind ever since. Telling the story of Easter without the sober warning of the destruction awaiting those who reject Christ is not to tell the story of Easter at all. That simple statement that I just made may very soon be very, very costly to confess. This week, Trump also appointed Rabbi Yehuda Kaploun to lead the special envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism. The most commonly used definition of antisemitism from the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance explicitly asserts that claiming the Jews killed Jesus is antisemitic. This may be the dividing truth of our generation. Will we stand for what the Bible says, including when it is inconvenient and possibly even illegal? Or was all that talk about infallibility, inerrancy, and sufficiency really just talk after all? This episode is brought to you by our premier sponsors, Armored Republic and Reece Fund, as well as our Patreon members and donors. International Transgender Day of Visibility is celebrated annually on March 31 to celebrate the accomplishments and visibility of transgender people while raising awareness of discrimination faced by transgender people worldwide. This day is an opportunity to recognize the resilience and strength of transgender individuals and advocate for their equal rights and opportunities. My guest on today's episode of the Allyship in Action Podcast, Josephine Guckiean, a transgender woman and leader at Deloitte shares with us tools to be an ally year-round to the transgender community: The Power of Visibility: Josephine's story highlights the critical importance of being seen and heard, especially for marginalized communities. Visibility is not just about existing; it's about claiming space and asserting one's right to authenticity. Allyship as Action: True allyship goes beyond passive acceptance. It involves active intervention, speaking up against injustice, and amplifying the voices of those who are often silenced. The Impact of Societal Norms: The conversation reveals how deeply ingrained societal norms can shape individual experiences, leading to isolation, depression, and even violence. Challenging these norms requires courage and collective effort. The Importance of Education and Understanding: Many misconceptions about the transgender community stem from a lack of knowledge. Education and open dialogue are essential tools for breaking down barriers and fostering empathy. Humanity's Shared Experience: Despite our differences, we are united by our shared humanity. Recognizing this common thread is crucial for building a more inclusive and compassionate world. Actionable Allyship Takeaway: Be an active ally. If you witness or hear something that perpetuates harmful stereotypes or discrimination against the transgender community, speak up. Your voice matters, and it can make a real difference. Favorite quote: "Allyship is the foundation of our community. Because allies are in. We're not in. Allies are at table speaking our names when we're not there. Allies are defending us. When it matters." Find Josephine on LinkedIn and Julie Kratz at https://www.nextpivotpoint.com/ and on LinkedIn.

Steve McConkey is president of 4 WINDS USA, a nationwide sports ministry, with emphasis on track and field. Since 1981 he's worked through 11 Olympic cycles. He shares the gospel, encourages Christians, stands up for Olympic athletes and gives training advice. He was a USA National Track & Field Club Coach from 1982-1992.March 31st marks "Transgender Day of Visibility." Each year the LGBTQ community sets that day aside to honor the achievements of so-called trans and non-binary individuals. The problem is that what transgenders are supposedly "achieving" appears to be causing more harm than good. This broadcast takes a look at the negative impact that transgenders are having upon women in sports, depriving them of records, medals, scholarships, and even their physical well being. One notable example is that of Payton McNabb, a now former women's volleyball player. When she was 17 she was severely injured during a game by a boy identifying as a transgender girl. This transgender girl spiked the ball (traveling at an estimated 65 M.P.H.) at Payton's face. She was knocked unconscious, diagnosed with a brain bleed, a concussion and permanent whiplash. Jim played a portion of an interview with Payton obtained by the Independent Women's Forum. Is this a spiritual battle and not just a political one? After all, when it comes to this issue, the woke "left" just doesn't seem to care about women. Where does the International Olympic Committee stand on this issue? Is our nation applauding mental illness with its current stand? These are questions you'll get answered when you review this edition of Crosstalk.

New Book- The Woketopus: The Dark Money Cabal Manipulating the Federal Government. Newt Gingrich Talks to Author. Newt Gingrich The Dark Money Manipulating the Federal Government Newt talks with Tyler O'Neil, senior editor at The Daily Signal, about his new book, “The Woketopus: The Dark Money Cabal Manipulating the Federal Government.” Their discussion centers on President Trump's pledge to dismantle the deep state and the extensive network of activist organizations mobilizing to resist his reform efforts. O'Neil's book maps out the intricate web of dark money foundations and activist groups embedded within federal agencies, highlighting the challenges and strategies for overcoming these forces. Their conversation also touches on the newly formed Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and its potential role in rooting out waste and abuse in the federal government. O'Neil emphasizes the importance of transparency, accountability, and the need for the American people to stay informed and engaged in holding the government accountable. Newt's World Jan 26 2025 42 mins Other Episodes About the Book- The Woketopus: The Dark Money Cabal Manipulating the Federal Government Paperback – January 21, 2025 by Tyler O'Neil (Author) See all formats and editions The same left-wing dark money foundations that supported the anti-Israel protests are funding a radical cabal, manipulating the administrative state on education, unions, transgender orthodoxy, elections, and the weaponization of law enforcement to silence their critics. Why did the Biden White House celebrate Transgender Day of Visibility on Easter Sunday? Why is the bureaucracy prioritizing electric vehicles and less reliable forms of energy when Americans struggle to pay the bills amid historic inflation and higher gas prices? America's bureaucrats appear to live on a different planet from the working class in this country, and that's no accident. The Woketopus explains how America's elites are pulling the strings in Washington to prioritize their pet projects over the needs of the American people. O'Neil's prose reveals how the left's NGO apparatus pursues its woke agenda, maneuvering like an octopus by circumventing Congress and entrenching its interests in the federal government. Discover how the donors who helped prop up the anti-Israel protests on college campuses are impacting policy in Washington; pull back the curtain on how federal agencies became engines of cultural change; and find out how the Left's dark money influences federal law enforcement to demonize conservatives in an attempt to silence anyone who wants to criticize this agenda. “Tyler O'Neil's book The Woketopus provides a definitive account of how the Left's vast patronage network funds the woke pressure groups manipulating the administrative state. O'Neil pulls back the curtain on how America's elites promote far-left ideologies like Critical Race Theory using the federal government, and how to combat this effort. This book will be a useful guide as the next conservative administration seeks to reign in the sprawling, radical bureaucracy of the federal government.” —Christopher F. Rufo

Today, Laken Riley's murderer was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole after being found guilty of all charges against him. Justice was served for Laken Riley and her family, though that will never replace what was stolen from them. We also discuss the latest drama at the Capitol involving Representative Nancy Mace's resolution preventing men who identify as women from using female bathrooms inside the Capitol building. This was in response to Representative-elect "Sarah" McBride, who identifies as a "transgender woman" winning the Delaware seat. We sit down with host of the Brad vs Everyone podcast, Brad Polumbo about that and things get a little spicy. And to tie it all together, we discuss the "Transgender Day of Remembrance," and some of the nonsense that certain churches started declaring in order to celebrate.
