Want to request a song? Tell us your rating? Send us a Text Message right now! Luke Bryan – “That's My Kind of Night” ⭐️ 1.9 / 10 Label: Cliché Hat Records, a Division of Bud Light SoundsIf a monster truck rally had sex with a Bass Pro Shops flyer during an Axe Body Spray commercial, the baby would be “That's My Kind of Night.” And that baby would grow up to wear cargo shorts year-round and call every woman “ma'am,” regardless of age.Luke Bryan, country music's reigning fratboy-in-chief, delivers this track like he's double-fisting a Natty Light and reading lyrics off the back of a hunting permit. It's less a song and more a checklist of things a 12-year-old thinks are cool: trucks, beer, girls in painted-on jeans, trucks again, the moonlight, catfish dinners, and did we mention trucks?Musically, it's a country song in the same way a microwave burrito is Mexican cuisine – technically accurate, deeply offensive, and likely to make you question your life choices. The beat is a Frankenstein's monster of pop-country gloss and trap-lite drum loops, which means it will either make you dance or commit a minor crime in a Walmart parking lot.Lyrically, Bryan sounds like he dared himself to cram every bro-country trope into a single three-minute yeehaw. "I got that real good feel good stuff up under the seat of my big black jacked-up truck" – which is exactly the kind of sentence you hear before someone revs an engine at a red light and then crashes into a Chili's.And don't worry, he rhymes “corn” with “horn” and “party” with… “party.” Twice. Shakespeare is shaking in his boots. You get the feeling that Luke Bryan wrote this on a napkin after doing shots of Fireball with the Duck Dynasty guys. And that napkin then somehow won a CMA award.Recommended if you like:Mud for recreational purposesSongs that think “fishing” is a personalityThe idea of consent, but not the practiceFinal thought: This isn't a song. Mullen's mentorship. He shares his pivotal moment at 11, choosing America's Got Talent over a Belize trip, becoming a finalist and facing the lure of secular success.Despite giving glory to God on the show, he admits to running from his calling, wanting freedom to chase his own desires while still loving Jesus.[05:41] God Redeems Quintavius's Childhood ExperiencesQuintavius reveals how international fame from America's Got Talent was misused for self-interest, a pattern God is now redeeming for His glory.[5:41] Quintavious: “After I fully submitted to Him, got saved, filled the Holy Ghost again, He now has allowed me to redeem that he is redeemed again. Now I was on the national, international stage, and I am making his name great, and it's for the purpose of God.”He opens up about misunderstood spiritual gifts—like seeing visions—initially confusing them for demonic or medium-like experiences due to lack of guidance.A turning point came when he surrendered fully to Christ, allowing God to refine these gifts for prophetic ministry and deliverance of others.Reagan connects this to listeners, noting how God's protection kept Quintavius from darker paths, now using his platform to win souls.[20:50] Demonic Torment During Early YearsQuintavius claims to have had chilling encounters with demons in elementary and middle school, like beds shaking and hearing hoof-like footsteps, fueling a spirit of fear. The enemy exploited his ignorance, tormenting him with nightmares and voices urging harm, aiming to silence his future calling.Quintavius credits the Holy Spirit for guiding him to fast and pray—sometimes for weeks—leading to physical deliverance, like vomiting out demonic influences. He mentions influential figures like Alexander Pagani and his pastor Shelley Morrison, whose teachings and hugs broke spiritual chains.Dreams once filled with torment became tools of deliverance as he rejected demonic offers in sleep, waking up free by God's power.[32:54] Bringing His Spiritual Gifts to the World StageQuintavius reluctantly joined American Idol after receiving persistent invitations. He sang “Alabaster Box” for judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan. He felt the song was a powerful movement—Katy cried, Lionel claimed he felt God's presence, and Luke likened it to a baptism—shifting the show's atmosphere.Behind the scenes, revival broke out: crew members and contestants got saved, atheists turned to Christ, and the theme changed from gladiators to classmates.[37:38] Quintavious: “They literally started calling it revival. It was such a revival of the love of God and of the power of the Holy Ghost that people want to get more.”Quintavious' performances are on his Instagram, demonstrating how his worship visibly carried the Holy Spirit to impact thousands.[42:28] God's Permission, or God's Plan?Quintavius reflects on a misstep during American Idol; he chose a song God permitted but didn't ordain, learning that lawful actions aren't always in line with God's wishes.Despite the permission, not following God's exact plan halted his progression. He learned to prioritize precise obedience over rationalized choices.[49:19] Reagan: “God's opening doors, well, why? Because you've been faithful, you've screwed up. He's the God of second chances.”He shares how God still redeemed this, as a viral “12 Days of Christmas” video in December 2024 brought greater reach than the show, saving lives and opening doors.[52:53] Staying Faithful to God's Call TodayQuintavius stresses prayer, fasting, and staying rooted in Scripture to balance his dual presence in gospel and secular spheres, keeping his focus on God's assignment. He credits his local church community for grounding him, offering safety in counsel and keeping pride at bay as his influence grows.[53:31] Quintavious: “I stay faithful to my church community. Having a community around you is important, you know, the multitude of counsel, there is safety.”His mission bridges worlds, bringing salvation to both gospel artists who don't live it and secular folks unaware of Jesus, acting as a “secret agent” for the Kingdom.Quintavius envisions God deepening his intimacy with the Spirit and expanding his ministry globally, not just in industry fame but in soul-winning across nations. He sees himself growing as a leader in the body of Christ, shaped by ongoing lessons in manhood and stewardship of his gifts. His local church remains vital, providing covering and training—like casting out demons in outreach—keeping him humble and accountable.[1:00:49] Encouraging the LonelyQuintavius encourages trusting God over self, rejecting the lie of isolation. God has a community for everyone. He advises praying for revelation of that community, warning against the enemy's tactic to isolate and confuse through lack of guidance. The body of Christ is collective, not solitary, and finding a church or group stirs gifts and offers support.Reagan prays for Quintavius, asking for strategic discernment, protection, and boldness to spread the gospel worldwide through his voice.Quintavius requests prayer to steward his transition well, avoiding procrastination and aligning with God's will as his influence rises.About QuintaviousQuintavius Johnson is a worship and gospel singer, prophetic minister, and dynamic voice for God's Kingdom, celebrated for his powerful testimony and anointed performances. Rising to fame as a finalist on America's Got Talent at age 12, he later captivated audiences on American Idol in 2024, where his singing sparked revival and led souls to Christ. With a background rooted in church choirs and a family of singers, Quintavius discovered his spiritual gifts early, navigating demonic torment and prophetic visions that God has since redeemed for deliverance and global ministry. Now 23, Quintavius bridges the secular and gospel worlds, using platforms like his viral “12 Days of Christmas” video to spread hope and salvation. A faithful servant in his local church, he ministers through worship, intercession, and outreach, drawing from years of intimacy with the Holy Spirit to cast out demons and ignite faith. The Jay Franze Show: Your backstage pass to the entertainment industry
Send us a textWhat happens when a drummer catches fire mid-performance? Jay and Tiffany kick off with the startling news of Journey's drummer Dean Castronovo's fiery mishap during "Don't Stop Believing," which prompts a surprisingly unsympathetic reaction and an exploration of the physical demands placed on drummers. The conversation shifts to serious territory as Tiffany shares updates about Jay brothers' close call with California wildfires, highlighting the human impact behind headline news. This personal connection bridges seamlessly into entertainment industry updates, where the duo dissects Luke Bryan's Rodeo Houston honors, Morgan Wallen's chart dominance, and Lainey Wilson's ambitious global tour. Through these discussions, Jay offers rare insider perspectives on how touring actually works for different genres of musicians—country artists strategically planning weekend shows while rock bands grind through 200+ performances yearly. The heart of the episode emerges when they pose a seemingly simple question: "Who's your favorite one-hit wonder?" What follows is a joyous musical archeology expedition through songs that defined generations despite their creators never recapturing that lightning in a bottle. From Tommy Two-Tone's "867-5309/Jenny" (a phone number impossible to forget) to Los Del Rio's "Macarena" (still appearing at cheerleading events decades later), the conversation becomes a celebration of musical persistence beyond commercial success. Listeners eagerly contribute their own suggestions, creating a communal tapestry of songs that briefly dominated airwaves but permanently imprinted on our cultural consciousness.Between discussions of comedians on the rise and personal updates about family achievements, the episode captures the show's essence: authentic conversation that seamlessly blends entertainment industry insights with relatable human moments. Whether you're nostalgic for songs you haven't thought about in years or curious about how the entertainment world really works, this episode delivers with warmth, humor and unexpected depth.LinksJay Franze: https://JayFranze.comVirtually You: https://www.virtuallyyouva.com/ Support the show

Originally established in 2020 by the Student Athlete Leadership Team, the pantry provides nonperishable food, toiletries, and paper products to students, staff, and families in need. The expansion is part of Kroger’s $207,000 donation to support school pantries across metro Atlanta. Serving 50-100 families monthly, the pantry also offers discreet backpack programs and monthly distributions. Principal Andy Hall and MUST Ministries leaders praised the partnership for addressing food insecurity and supporting the community. STORY 5: Lawmakers decide to ban cellphones in public elementary and middle schools Georgia's General Assembly passed House Bill 340, banning personal cellphone use in elementary and middle schools starting next fall, with Gov. Brian Kemp expected to decide on the measure soon. The "Distraction-Free Education Act" aims to reduce classroom distractions and improve student well-being, requiring devices to be locked away during school hours, with exceptions for medical needs. Inspired by global efforts to limit technology's impact on children, the bill follows similar bans in other states and countries. While some Democrats raised concerns about broader school safety issues, the bill received bipartisan support, with discussions of extending the ban to high schools in the future.
