[00:30] The End of a Republic (32 minutes) U.S. Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff's latest Israel-Hamas ceasefire plan is extremely lopsided in the terrorists' favor. Meanwhile, Elon Musk is leaving the Department of Government Efficiency after criticizing the latest government spending bill for increasing the deficit instead of balancing the national budget. [32:00] Melanie Phillips Interview, Part 3 (23 minutes) Listen to Part 3 of our interview with conservative author Melanie Phillips.
Many Americans sense that the social cohesion of our nation is weakening. The data seems to back this up. A poll conducted by the Associated Press and the National Opinion Research Center at the University of Chicago found that Seventy-one percent say the United States is “losing its national identity—that is the beliefs and values the country represents.”American trust in its traditional institutions, the media, universities, non-profits, and churches, is historically low. The question for conscientious Americans is, what do we do? Author Melanie Phillips has an idea. Heritage Vice President Victoria Coates sat down with her to discuss her book: The Builder's Stone: How Jews and Christians Built the West—and Why Only They Can Save It. In this interview, Victoria and Melanie discuss what ails our culture and why religious principles are instrumental in dealing with these problems.—Find Melanie Phillips' book: https://www.amazon.com/Builders-Stone-Christians-Built-West-ebook/dp/B0DW47YL1T?ref_=ast_author_mpbHave thoughts? [00:30] BidenGate (23 minutes) Details about the so-called cover-up of Joe Biden's cognitive decline continue to emerge. We now know that the Democrat plan was to install a “mentally incapacitated” president they could control and the COVID-19 lockdowns provided the perfect cover. The question remains: Who was running the country? From the start, the Trumpet wasn't fooled about who was in control. [23:30] Melanie Phillips Interview, Part 2 (29 minutes) Listen to Part 2 of our interview with conservative author Melanie Phillips.
[00:30] Decline in Judeo-Christian Values (28 minutes) The United States was founded on timeless Judeo-Christian values. Our national and international decline is directly tied to the widespread abandonment of these beliefs. [28:45] Trumpet Daily Exclusive Interview: Melanie Phillips (27 minutes) Trumpet Daily host Stephen Flurry and celebrated author and journalist Melanie Phillips discuss a variety of topics, including President Donald Trump's dangerously misguided negotiations with terrorists, the current situation in Israel, and how the decline in Judeo-Christian values is endangering civilization itself.
Why has Israel failed to win the PR war — and what can be done to change that? In this gripping episode, British journalist and thinker Melanie Phillips lays out a bold new strategy: stop apologizing, stop defending, and start exposing the moral inversion at the heart of modern anti-Zionism.We cover:→ The roots of Western antisemitism in intersectional ideology→ Why calling Israel a "colonizer" is a complete inversion of history→ The truth about Palestinian nationalism and the myth of the Nakba→ How to flip the moral script and go on offense in the information war→ The missing link between Jewish survival and saving Western civilizationWhether you support Israel, are on the fence, or just want to understand the core arguments, this is an essential conversation for our moment.Hosted by Ami Kozak and Michael Weber.
In part one of Red Eye Radio with Gary McNamara and Eric Harley, the liberal media portends to inform the world on the obvious by telling us what "cheap fake" videos are when we all know what deep fakes are. Also consumer prices higher than usual, a breadown of the consumer price index, the most BS headline of the day: "drivers could see popular car feature go away based on Donald Trump's net zero measures". Also 2026 vehicles and the new feautures included, President Trump's success in Saudia Arabia, Republicans thank Jake Tapper for keeping Biden in the news, an audio compilation of liberals praising Joe Biden's sharp accuity while ignoring the truth about his cognitive decline. Also ICE obstructing democrats have lost their minds and intriguing audio from british commentator Melanie Phillips on the liberal mindset. I went way out in the Pennsylvania Wilds, up in elk country (not Elk County), to interview a couple who make salad dressings and ship them across the country. Village Eatinghouse dressings...or are they sauces? Marinades? Whatever they are, they're delicious and versatile, and they're made here in Centre County, so I went out and found Clay and Melanie Phillips in Pine Glen, PA. We talked, we tasted, we had a few laughs. You'll like it. Those dressings made me think of all the ways I do little hacks and additions when I'm cooking, so I talked about that, including another central PA favorite, Gazebo Room Salad Dressing. I give you a couple short recipes for shortcut family favorites, including one with a surprising secret ingredient. We have another small contest! I'm asking you to fill in a list of Pennsylvania foods at the end of the episode, and suggest what Pennsylvania food you'd like to hear about in a future episode. I'll draw a random winner from respondents to get a five-pack of STAG stickers! There's an absolute bonus on What I'm Drinking Today: three different Dad's Hat rye whiskey tasting, including an as-yet-unreleased Danko rye whiskey. Next episode, if I can get a second short interview, will be about trout fishing in central PA. I've interviewed two fishing guides, I went to a couple opening day parties -- why didn't anyone tell me about opening day parties?! -- and I learned about fishing. See you in two weeks!
Join John and British journalist Melanie Phillips as they explore the escalating misuse of "genocide" in the Israel-Gaza conflict, exposing how propaganda and liberal denial have inverted reality. She argues that it is Israel who faces a genocidal threat from Islamists like Hamas, while anti-Semitism surges across a West blind to its own history. From torn hostage posters to distorted narratives, Phillips reveals a cultural crisis where truth is sacrificed for ideology, making this a critical wake-up call for understanding today's Middle East tensions.
Gadi spoke with British author Melanie Phillips about her new book The Builder's Stone: How Jews and Christians Built the West—and Why Only They Can Save It.

Despite the obvious anti-Christian trajectory of Western society, a growing number of influencers are beginning to see the moral and cultural benefits of Christianity. It could even be said that Christianity is becoming "cool" again! But is there a danger that people misunderstand Christianity by merely seeing its general moral value? Are such people merely becoming inoculated to true Christianity, ignoring the parts they don't like? How did Christian nations like Britain come about? What might it take to bring them about again? How can churches respond well to this strange cultural moment? Join Aaron and Andy for another long-awaited episode of Pod of the Gaps! This month, Keir Starmer was elected prime minister of the UK. He is something of a reformer in the Labor party, which, before him, had been led by Jeremy Corbyn. The two have a different public temperament and different public persona. They have a different attitude toward the Jewish people and the Jewish state. Corbyn normalized a degree of anti-Semitism within mainstream Labor politics that was so odious it forced ideologically committed Labor members who are Jewish to leave the party. Since Starmer took over, the party has made a conscious effort to put forward a different, more welcoming face toward Jews. And what about beneath the surface? Is Starmer different in practice and policy toward Israel and the Jewish people? To answer that question, host Jonathan Silver speaks here with British journalist Melanie Phillips, who wrote an essay on the subject recently called "All Change." Musical selections in this podcast are drawn from the Quintet for Clarinet and Strings, op. 31a, composed by Paul Ben-Haim and performed by the ARC Ensemble.
