Aujourd'hui, dans le cadre du défi Janvoix, je devais imaginer un scénario alternatif. J'ai choisi de me demander : et si nous vivions dans une société matriarcale ? À travers cet épisode, je vous invite à explorer un monde où les femmes auraient toujours été au centre des décisions, des structures sociales et des valeurs fondamentales.On commence par découvrir des exemples réels de sociétés matriarcales existantes, comme les Mosuo en Chine ou les Minangkabau en Indonésie. Ces communautés placent les femmes au cœur des décisions familiales et de la transmission des biens, mais elles ne sont pas parfaites. Certains hommes se sentent marginalisés, nous rappelant que tout modèle peut avoir ses failles.Puis, direction la préhistoire : saviez-vous que les femmes jouaient un rôle bien plus actif qu'on ne le pensait, notamment dans la chasse ? Les figures symboliques comme les "Vénus préhistoriques" montrent que la maternité et la féminité étaient vénérées, bien loin de certains stéréotypes actuels.Enfin, j'imagine un basculement vers un matriarcat aujourd'hui. Que se passerait-il si des valeurs comme le soin, l'entraide et la coopération prenaient le dessus sur la compétition et le contrôle ? Cela pourrait transformer nos priorités sociétales, en plaçant l'humain au centre. Mais attention : aucun système n'est parfait, et un basculement brutal pourrait créer de nouvelles inégalités inversées. In this episode, we're going to talk about the many lives of Emiria Sunassa, a pioneer of Indonesian modern art, who was also a nurse, singer, pianist, and traveler, who claimed to be a princess of the Tidore sultanate. Emiria was one of only three female artists in Persatuan Ahli Gambar Indonesia (PERSAGI). The other two were Saptarita Latif and Tridjoto Abdullah. However, in contrast to the two other women artists, Emiria started painting individually. She was not linked to any nationalist movements before she became involved with art. PERSAGI's nationalistic vigour came from an unmistakably masculine perspective; most of the paintings represented common subject matter: self-portraitures, still-lifes and, most importantly, the portrayal of the Indonesian people during and after the revolutionary period - and yet they were limited to the island of Java. Kayaknya hampir seluruh masyarakat Indonesia minimal pernah mendengar atau melihat Rumah Makan Padang di pinggir jalan. Rumah makannya pun mempunyai eksterior khas. Tampilan depan Rumah Makan Padang biasanya berbentuk atap rumah yang pastinya mencolok, sebab tak sama dengan eksterior rumah makan pada umumnya. Pun dengan etalase yang berada di depan rumah makan, dipenuhi dengan berbagai menu masakan yang dapat mengguncang lidah. Yummy! Asal Usul Nama Masakan Padang Sesuai dengan namanya, masakan Padang berasal dari Padang, Sumatera Barat. Masakan ini, adalah khas dari suku Minangkabau. Biasanya pemilik rumah makan adalah orang Minang. Rumah Makan Padang mulai populer pada akhir 1960-an. Sejarawan Minangkabau, Profesor Gusti Asnan, yang mengajar di Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Universitas Andalas, mengatakan bahwa penamaan rumah makan tersebut dengan kata “Padang” adalah bagian dari perubahan identitas. The Orang Bunian is a character from Indonesian mythology that has also managed to firmly establish itself in the mythology of the Malaysian people as well. In Indonesia's Minangkabau region of the Sumatra islands, the term orang bunian is often associated with the term god. The meaning of "god" in this context is different from that of Buddhism, Hinduism or any modern religion. In other words, in this case, the term "dewa" refers to a nation of spirits that live in the forest, near a cemetery, or on the edge of a hill.On the edge of the hill, before sunset, one can smell an aroma that is commonly referred to as "God's cooking" or "God's sambal." This is similar to the smell of French fries and is usually associated with the presence of the Orang Bunian. In addition, they believe that there have been instances where people have been secretly hidden by their bunian or gods. This is a myth that is quite popular among of the members of the Minangkabau community where it is also believed that these spirits have taken away their babies.The orang bunian is considered to be supernatural beings that are not seen by most humans or invisible to normal human eyes. They are described as being incredibly beautiful and almost identical to humans in appearance. Due to the nature of their appearance, the orang bunian is often depicted in modern depictions wearing high fantasy-inspired clothing or with pointed ears with strong resemblances to elves from European mythology. Selain itu, rendang menjadi ikon dalam jamuan makan di rumah Minang. Pesona Soreang, Ibukota Kabupaten Bandung yang Kini Semakin Iconik Oleh.Renita (Kontributor Tetap NarasiPost.Com) Voice Over Talent: Dewi N NarasiPost.Com-Sebelum menikah saya sempat bermimpi ingin tinggal di daerah Bandung. Tak disangka, Allah benar-benar mengabulkan doa saya. Qadarullah, saya menikah dengan seorang pria yang beraktivitas di daerah Bandung. Akhirnya, setelah menikah saya memutuskan untuk ikut dengan beliau tinggal di daerah Soreang, Bandung. Sudah hampir tujuh tahun, saya tinggal di Soreang. Adakah teman-teman di sini yang belum pernah menginjakkan kakinya ke Bandung? Jika belum mungkin tulisan ini bisa memberikan sedikit gambaran mengenai Kota Bandung terutama daerah Soreang beserta tempat-tempat yang bisa dikunjungi ketika berada di Soreang. Daripada penasaran, langsung saja yuk! Soreang merupakan pusat pemerintahan Kabupaten Bandung yang kebetulan menjadi tempat tinggal saya saat ini. Melihat statusnya saja terlihat bahwa daerah ini merupakan daerah tersibuk di wilayah Kabupaten Bandung. Ya, Soreang bisa dikatakan jantungnya Kabupaten Bandung. Banyak pabrik-pabrik dan kantor pemerintahan yang berdiri di sini. Bahkan akses menuju pusat perbelanjaan, penginapan, tempat wisata dan Rumah Sakit (RS) pun begitu dekat. Beberapa wilayahnya masih berupa hamparan sawah yang belum tersentuh pembangunan ala kapitalistik. Apalagi jika bicara terkait makanan, Soreang bisa dikatakan surga bagi pecinta kuliner karena begitu mudahnya mendapatkan berbagai jenis makanan di sepanjang jalan di daerah ini. Soreang termasuk wilayah Bandung bagian selatan yang berjarak 20 km dari Kota Bandung. Pada zaman Kolonial Belanda, di sini pernah dibangun rel kereta api untuk mengangkut hasil perkebunan kina dan teh dari Ciwidey-Bandung. Sayangnya, sejak tahun 1970 jalur ini sudah tidak ada lagi. Saat ini, Soreang sudah memiliki akses jalan menuju tol nasional yaitu Jalan Tol Soreang-Pasirkoja (Soroja). Soreang juga dikenal sebagai wilayah pusat konveksi rumahan terbesar di Kabupaten Bandung. Sebagian besar penduduknya merupakan suku Sunda, sebagian ada suku Jawa, Cirebon, Betawi, Batak, Minangkabau dan lainnya. Berdasarkan Surat Edaran Nomor 2021 Tahun 2020 tentang Pelaksanaan Kegiatan Masyarakat selama Libur Hari Raya Natal dan Menyambut Tahun Baru 2021, dalam Tatanan Kehidupan Era Baru disebutkan, penumpang yang melakukan perjalanan dengan kendaraan pribadi termasuk pesawat wajib menunjukkan surat keterangan hasil negatif uji rapid test antigen paling lama 2x24 jam sebelum keberangkatan. Bio: Dr. Irum Shiekh's work combines oral history with visual arts to advance social justice at local and transnational levels. Her documentary, Matrilineal Muslim Women of Minang, provides narratives of Muslim women of Minangkabau—the largest living matrilineal society in the world, which happened to be Muslim. By presenting interviews of strong Muslim women who are wearing headscarves, this film disassociates the widely mistaken image of women's oppression with Islam. Dr. Shiekh was a Fulbright scholar in Palestine where she developed courses about Palestinian Cinema and its significance in writing a counter-narrative through artistic expressions that articulates multiple histories and the day-to-day perspectives of Palestinians. Her photo exhibit, Palestinians Envision Life Without Occupation, examines the power of imagination as a resistance strategy for Palestinians living under occupation. Her current book research project, Women's Mosque Movement of the 21st Century, promotes the development and dissemination of Islamic knowledge for gender and social justice. Dr. Shiekh enjoys learning from people, experiences, and the world around her. In her life journey, she is constantly juggling a balance between creating a sense of belonging and staying detached. She has completed fieldwork in Egypt, India, Indonesia, Japan, Lebanon, Pakistan, Palestine, Peru, South Africa, and Trinidad. Currently, she teaches in the departments of Ethnic Studies and the Honors College at the University of Oregon.
