At a hearing of the Fast-track expert panel in Dunedin on Tuesday, Kā Rūnaka, made up of four rūnaka representing southern Ngāi Tahu hapū, said they opposed the project. ACT's Simon Court says Ngāi Tahu reportedly asked for shares in the gold mine - or for an alternative deal to be established. "From the outside looking in, some people are calling this the 'great Santana shakedown'. But that's not how New Zealand should be, because all of these costs end up flowing either into household bills - or it means fewer jobs." Naši hrdinové si našli mazlíčka. Tedy pokud jako mazlíčka berete dvojmetrového šneka se sekerou, který saje sliz a krev, jen proto aby přežil, mluví prastarou řečí a vzbuzuje strach i u těch největších bojovníků (nebo bokovníků??). Tenhle mazlíček se nakonec ukazuje, že není jen tak obyčejným trdlem, ale rovnocenným členem skupiny, který může krýt ostatním záda. A bude to potřeba, stále totiž naše parta řeší problém s ovcemi uteklými z Meklinovy farmy na Ranč lučního kvítí. Setkání s Robey Daltonem na sebe nenechá dlouho čekat.

Naši hrdinové se setkali s opilým mnichem, který byl jejich prvním úkolem Cechu žoldnéřů zde v Parrowfieldu. Otázkou nyní je, zda s ním dokáží držet krok, ať už v alkoholu nebo věcech, které vyvádí s vervou sobě vlastní. V tu chvíli jsem pochopila, že zodpovědnost za rodinu, kterou má táta, musí převzít někdo jiný. V ten okamžik mi došlo, že se musím postarat o svoji bezpečnost i o to, jak bude rodina zajištěna. Máma kvůli zdravotnímu stavu nemůže pracovat, u táty jsme nevěděli, jak dlouho ve válce vydrží. Zda bude naživu," říká zakladatelka iniciativy Hlas Ukrajiny Anastasiia Sihnaievska, která je v Česku od března roku 2022. Zůstat v něm mohla i Tanya Solomadina, která studovala na Univerzitě Karlově. Rozhodla se ale vrátit do svého rodného Charkova, a to i přes veškerá rizika, která to s sebou přináší. „Udržuje mě pořád ta stejná myšlenka, že všechno má svůj konec. Že nic netrvá věčně. Z nějaké perspektivy to může být smutná myšlenka, ale pro mě to je optimistické," říká. Obě mladé ženy popisují, jak probíhající válku prožívají, jak se za poslední čtyři roky změnily i to, jaké to je být pár desítek kilometrů od ruských hranic či v jiné zemi, daleko od blízkých, kteří jsou ve válce. (Galatia 6:2) Renungan: Satu kali, Ibu Teresa pernah menulis begini, "Kalau kamu belum bisa memberi makan 100 orang, berilah makan satu orang saja dulu." la juga menulis, "Tidak semua kita bisa melakukan hal-hal besar. Tapi semua kita bisa melakukan hal-hal kecil dengan cinta yang besar." Dari pikirannya yang belajar membatasi hidup dengan cara yang sangat sederhana, ia telah menemukan banyak hikmat untuk disampaikan tentang bagaimana kita melayani sesama. la membantu kemanusiaan untuk melihat apa yang tidak bisa dilihat orang lain, bahwa kebesaran itu adalah jalan yang menurun, bukan naik. la juga mengajari kita orang modern bahwa milik kita saat ini belum tentu mewakili perkenanan Tuhan, tapi kita mendapatkan kewajiban memikul kesusahan sesama. Setiap kali bencana terjadi, terutama bencana alam, kita menarik napas panjang dan menghembuskan dengan cepat sebagai tanda, "Kenapa yang seperti itu terjadi lagi?" Kita tidak suka mendengar kabar buruk tentang kesusahan orang lain. Tahu apa sebabnya? Karena kesusahan yang kita dengar, langsung mewajibkan kita untuk menanggung sedikit atau banyak dari kesusahan itu. Tanpa kita sadari, semua kejadian itu memanggil kita untuk bertindak. Jika kita mengabaikan panggilan itu maka secara alamiah hati kita menimbun sejumlah rasa bersalah. Suatu kali nanti rasa bersalah itulah yang akan turut menentukan seberapa kuat kita bisa berdiri di hadapan Tuhan. Bencana alam adalah cara Tuhan menyadarkan kita bahwa kita adalah sesama manusia, kita sepenanggungan, kita harus mengatasinya bersama. Hari ini kita membantu, mungkin besok kitalah yang dibantu. Firman-Nya tegas berbicara, "Bertolong-tolonganlah menanggung bebanmu! Demikianlah kamu memenuhi hukum Kristus." Mari kita memenuhi hukum Kristus dengan saling tolong menolong. Jangan pandang bulu dalam menolong. Tolonglah dengan tulus hati. Jangan ada pamrih dalam menolong. Semua bagi kemuliaan nama Tuhan saja. Tuhan Yesus memberkati. Around the world, Native communities are addressing these extractive systems, resisting their impacts, and fighting the good fight to create tangible systems to exercise sovereignty and protect Indigenous peoples, lands, and communities.Dr. Dr. Des and Dr. Tahu remind us that the concept of  “individual” data is an illusion.
