US House Rep Aaron Bean (R,FL-4) lead his fellow house legislators in an acknowledgement of the Dollar General shooting victims in a formal statement on the House floor in D.C. Additionally, the Jacksonville Jaguars, NFL Foundation, and other organizations presented a $1 million donation to the First Coast Relief Fund in honor of the shooting victims and community members impacted by that tragic event.

In 2015, Joe Ehrmann and Jody Redman, with a grant from the NFL Foundation, implemented a statewide pilot program in partnership with high school athletic associations, educational leadership associations, and the Dallas Cowboys and Denver Broncos. Since that time, the InSideOut Initiative has partnered with 20 NFL teams in 17 states. With the support of the NFL Foundation, the InSideOut Initiative is creating a national movement to transform interscholastic athletics.    Joe Ehrmann, All-American football player played professional football for 13 years and was the NFL's first Ed Block Courage Award Recipient. She launched My Cause My Cleats in 2016 to highlight the hundreds of philanthropic and civic-minded players in the NFL. She also spearheads the NFL's cancer platform, Crucial Catch, as well as many of the initiatives that fall under NFL PLAY 60, the league's effort to combat youth obesity across the nation. She developed the NFL's unified military appreciation campaign, Salute to Service in 2011.Anna is also responsible for developing and directing corporate social responsibility activities that take place at NFL Draft, Kickoff, Pro Bowl and the Super Bowl.
