In what is the last day for fans to attend training camp in Ashburn, Virginia, the team practiced without pads. The offense was sluggish as Sam Howell threw multiple interceptions and the receivers dropped double digit passes. On the other side of the ball, Emmanuel Forbes was all over the field and continues to impress. On the injury front, Logan Thomas, Danny Johnson, Chase Young, Andrew Wylie, Saahdiq Charles, Charles Leno, Jonathan Allen Phidarian Mathis, Kendall Fuller and Dax Milne are all dealing with various injuries although none of them seem serious. After practice, Sam Cosmi had some choice words for the Ravens 24 game winning streak. All of that and more on the Daily Commanders Update for 19 August, 2023. Let's gooooooo!
In the jog-through, Jamin Davis and Jahan Dotson shined pretty heavily. Well as much as you can with such an easy practice. On the injury front, Saahdiq Charles returned to practice while Logan Thomas did not. Also, Chase Young and Phidarian Mathis both started in team drills before shutting it down out of an abundance of caution. After another practice on Monday, the team heads to Baltimore for 2 days against the Ravens. We preview what to expect and why these types of practices are so important.

Washington Commanders head coach Ron Rivera revealed to the media on Monday that rookie running back Brian Robinson Jr. will be taken off the non-football injury list and return to practice beginning Wednesday. This starts the 21-day clock for the Commanders to put Robinson back on the active roster, with an outside shot at seeing him against the Tennessee Titans in Week 5. Then, stemming from Washington's loss to the Dallas Cowboys, Saahdiq Charles has been announced as the starting right guard, replacing Trai Turner. And we field two burning questions from one Commanders fan asking if Terry McLaurin might be better off elsewhere, and whether or not Rivera is really the man to lead this football team. Finally, while Robinson will be joined by offensive lineman Tyler Larsen returning this week, defensive end Chase Young will not be back at practice, according to Rivera. When will we see him? We discuss that and more, on this episode of the Locked On Commanders podcast. Locked On Redskins - Daily Podcast On The Washington Redskins
Washington Commanders head coach Ron Rivera revealed to the media on Monday that rookie running back Brian Robinson Jr. will be taken off the non-football injury list and return to practice beginning Wednesday. This starts the 21-day clock for the Commanders to put Robinson back on the active roster, with an outside shot at seeing him against the Tennessee Titans in Week 5.Then, stemming from Washington's loss to the Dallas Cowboys, Saahdiq Charles has been announced as the starting right guard, replacing Trai Turner. When will we see him?We discuss that and more, on this episode of the Locked On Commanders podcast.Find and Follow Locked On Commanders:Apple: https://apple.co/2YHegGcSpotify: https://spoti.fi/3mHG7yeAudacy: https://bit.ly/2YDl7jEStitcher: https://bit.ly/3IcmdUKGoogle Play: https://bit.ly/34JEKKqLocked on Washington Commanders has the latest reaction, news, and player interviews from the organization with this daily podcast from DC & national sports personality Chris Russell and co-host David Harrison.
