In this episode of the Wing and Tail Outdoors podcast, hosts Chris Romano and Dorge Huang delve into the intricacies of bow setups for both long-range and short-range shooting.
In this episode, Eric and Brian kick off the week with a look at the SPX options market, recent price action, and key gamma levels heading into FOMC week. Eric recaps his recent put credit spread trades from Alpha Crunching, discusses how he's managing new positions into record highs, and explains how he's balancing bullish exposure with call credit spreads and discretionary hedges. The conversation also covers upcoming events—including major tech earnings from Apple, Microsoft, and Google—and how they might influence market sentiment.Brian shares a practical example of a LEAPS diagonal trade on AVGO that's been profitable even without much price movement, illustrating how selling weekly calls can generate consistent income against a long-dated call. The two also discuss covered call timing, hedging approaches, and using instruments like SSO to gain leveraged exposure with less capital.

You'll gain actionable insights on building sustainable vitality, avoiding burnout, and playing the long game in health and business. On the hidden cost of ignoring your own health as an entrepreneur, English states, "As business people, we don't debate or second guess the fact that we need to know our numbers in our business. We need to know our KPIs . . . we need to watch that P&L like a hawk. We need to know our conversion rates and cost per acquisition, leads, how many leads we're bringing in . . . all these things, right? But then we look at our health and we think that it's supposed to just happen on its own, intuitively, by happenstance? And that's just not the case." Key themes discussed Transition from NFL career to entrepreneurship and business. Importance of health optimization for business performance. Data-driven approach to personal health and performance. Mindset shifts after major career setbacks. Accountability and structure for lasting personal change. Defining success and fulfillment beyond financial achievements. A few key takeaways: 1. The Importance of Optimizing the "Operator" (You!): Larry emphasizes that just like in sports, your personal health and performance as an entrepreneur or business professional are crucial to overall success. He points out that many professionals fail to recognize that a performance mindset and maintaining health are just as important in business as they are in athletics. 2. Lessons from Professional Sports Transition to Business: Larry draws direct parallels between elite athletics and building a business. He discusses how data-driven approaches, discipline, and having a clear playbook are not just for sports, but equally vital for high-performing business leaders. Just as athletes track performance metrics, business leaders should monitor their KPIs—and their health metrics. 3. Facing and Overcoming Burnout: Burnout isn't just a result of overworking. As Larry puts it, “your operating system is busted.” After leaving the NFL, Larry learned the hard way that abandoning a health-first mindset led to a decline in vitality and performance—even as he achieved success in real estate. His story illustrates the need to reset and refocus on personal well-being for sustained high achievement. 4. Data-Driven, Holistic Optimization Programs: Larry's program is built on a holistic, science-based approach. It includes training, nutrition, biomarker optimization (via bloodwork), supplementation, and lifestyle supports. Success isn't just about willpower; it's about a system that offers expert guidance, accountability, and customization to each client's needs—so that health goals can directly power professional and personal ones. 5. Seeing Setbacks as Setups for Transformation: One of Larry's most powerful reflections centers on how a major business deal falling through led him to reconsider his true purpose. Rather than letting the setback define him, it pushed him to pursue his passion for helping others optimize their lives. He now uses the lessons—and the systems—that helped him transition from NFL athlete to successful entrepreneur and coach as a blueprint for others who want to “win the war, not just the game." Most hunters obsess over bugles, cow calls, and making the “perfect sound.” The truth? None of that matters if your setup is wrong. In this episode, I break down the single most overlooked factor in archery elk hunting—the setup. I cover why setups matter more than calling, how bulls actually “see with their ears,” and why closing the distance before you ever touch a call is what doubles or triples your odds of success. You'll hear about the mistakes I see over and over again in the elk woods, the psychological trap of being afraid to bump elk, and the universal truths about how bulls approach a calling scenario. Whether you're hunting solo or with a partner, these principles will change how you think about elk hunting and get you closer to consistent success. In today's episode of Georgio Says, I dig deeper into the current Orange County drama surrounding Katie, Gretchen, and Tamra—and why the infamous Naked and Wasted storyline from Season 4 isn't the only example of shady drinking setups in Housewives history. We revisit:Season 4Season 11 (Ireland Trip)Season 16My take: context matters. These situations may look different, but the intention is the same—cast members trying to manipulate alcohol to get “good TV.” If we're going to hold Tamra accountable, let's also acknowledge Shannon and Heather's roles in similar moments.Plus, I give a quick update on the upcoming Salt Lake City-inspired merch drop

Jon Herold and Burning Bright return for Episode 378 of Devolution Power Hour to unpack the latest narrative shifts and psyops as we barrel toward the 2024 election. The duo digs into Rasmussen's explosive poll showing 60% of voters suspect the CIA played a role in the assassination of JFK, then tie that distrust into the broader awakening of the American public. They explore the strange coincidences surrounding Meta's recent outage, hinting at predictive programming and election interference pretexts. Discussion also includes the DOJ's indictment of two Iranians over election-related cyberattacks, which Jon and BB argue is a carefully timed narrative weapon. With sharp analysis, they trace the evolution of “RussiaGate” through to “IranGate,” spotlighting the weaponization of intelligence and media in managing the political battlefield. From Jon's Substack dive into a DOD contractor's links to election software, to the ongoing shift from COVID to climate as the next control vector, this episode connects the dots on the elite's toolkit of chaos. All wrapped in the show's signature balance of wit, receipts, and hard-hitting analysis.

Earlier this year, FaithFi had the opportunity to sit down with Tim Tebow—Heisman Trophy winner, former NFL quarterback, and founder of the Tim Tebow Foundation. But this wasn't a conversation about championships or accolades. Instead, it focused on the moments that most people would rather forget—the painful setbacks that God can use to shape something far greater than we could ever have imagined.Tim Tebow is a Heisman Trophy winner, former NFL quarterback, and founder of the Tim Tebow Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving vulnerable children and individuals with disabilities through initiatives such as Night to Shine, orphan care, medical outreach, anti-human trafficking efforts, and support for children with profound medical needs. The Loss That Sparked a PromiseOne of those moments came during the 2008 college football season, when the University of Florida suffered an unexpected loss to Ole Miss. It's a game many fans remember, but for Tebow, it was deeply personal. As the team's quarterback and leader, he took responsibility—not just for the plays on the field, but for the team's mindset, culture, and lack of focus. “We thought we had it in the bag,” he recalled. But after falling behind and ultimately missing a critical extra point, the Gators were handed a humbling defeat. That moment set the stage for what became one of the most iconic press conferences in college football history—Tebow's passionate promise that the team would never be outworked again. What few saw, however, was the deeper soul-searching that happened behind the scenes. It was a moment of internal reckoning and spiritual clarity.Released, Then RedirectedA more recent setback came in 2021, when Tebow signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars and was released after just one preseason game. “I knew all the right truths,” he said, “but I wasn't fully living them out. My ego was wrapped up in it.”Shortly afterward, news broke of the U.S. military's withdrawal from Afghanistan, triggering a humanitarian crisis. As the situation unfolded, the Tim Tebow Foundation mobilized to respond. Tim flew to the Middle East, where he spent time serving in a refugee camp amidst chaos and suffering.Looking back, he sees God's timing clearly. “If I hadn't been cut, I wouldn't have been there. I wouldn't have been free to do what I was really called to do—care for the most vulnerable.” What looked like a professional failure turned out to be a divine redirection.A Calling Rooted in CompassionThe heart behind the Tim Tebow Foundation was planted years earlier, when a 15-year-old Tim met a boy in the jungles of the Philippines. The boy had been born with his feet on backwards and was viewed by many as cursed or disposable.“I knew God didn't see him that way,” Tim said. “But I also felt like God was asking me, ‘If you know this boy matters to Me, what are you going to do about it?'”That moment became the driving force behind the foundation's mission: to bring faith, hope, and love to those in need of a brighter day in their darkest hour. Today, that mission plays out through global efforts in orphan care, anti-human trafficking, medical outreach, and Night to Shine—a worldwide prom event celebrating individuals with special needs. From Success to Eternal SignificanceTebow also offered a powerful challenge: What are we really chasing—success or significance?“Success is about us. Significance is about others. But in God's economy, He allows us to turn our success—our platform, influence, and resources—into something that matters eternally.”He referenced Proverbs 29:2: “When the righteous flourish, the people rejoice.” The question becomes, are our achievements causing others to rejoice, or are they only benefiting ourselves? This mindset starts with a proper view of ownership. “If we believe what we have is ours, we'll hold it tightly. But if we believe it's God's, we'll live open-handed. We're stewards, not owners.”And when it comes to investing, Tebow offered a new take on ROI: “What if ROI didn't just mean ‘return on investment,' but ‘rescuing of image-bearers'? Spiritually, emotionally, eternally—investing in people who matter to God.”To anyone in the middle of a setback, Tebow pointed to a deep truth rooted in Scripture: “Do you really believe that God works all things together for good?” (Romans 8:28). Even this heartbreak? Even this moment? He reminded listeners that God is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and when we can't understand His plan, we can still trust His heart—because His love has already been proven at the cross. On Today's Program, Rob Answers Listener Questions:My husband and I own a condo that we're planning to move out of soon. We're considering two options: renting it out or selling it, which could bring in around $100,000 in profit. Would it be wiser to sell and invest the proceeds or hold onto it as a rental property? My wife has a beneficiary IRA worth approximately $108,000, and she has been required to take distributions from it. I'm trying to understand how a beneficiary IRA differs from a traditional IRA, especially when it comes to how it's managed. Also, she's turning 62 in November—does that milestone change anything about how we should approach this account?Resources Mentioned:Faithful Steward: FaithFi's New Quarterly Magazine (Become a FaithFi Partner)Tim Tebow FoundationWisdom Over Wealth: 12 Lessons from Ecclesiastes on MoneyLook At The Sparrows: A 21-Day Devotional on Financial Fear and AnxietyRich Toward God: A Study on the Parable of the Rich FoolFind a Certified Kingdom Advisor (CKA) or Certified Christian Financial Counselor (CertCFC)FaithFi App Remember, you can call in to ask your questions most days at (800) 525-7000. In this inspiring episode of the High Performance Mindset, Dr. Cindra Kamphoff explores how optimism can turn adversity into advantage. She shares a powerful story of a collegiate athlete who, after a devastating ACL injury just before nationals, chose to reframe the setback as a new beginning. Her shift in perspective led her to mentorship, sport psychology, and a new purpose: becoming a mental performance coach. Cindra breaks down how optimism isn't naive positivity—it's an active choice to find meaning in difficulty. Backed by science, she discusses the many benefits of optimism, including increased resilience, creativity, persistence, and even longer life expectancy. Research from Harvard shows that optimistic leaders and entrepreneurs outperform their peers in both business and recovery from failure. You'll also learn about the Three OPP Strategy from Beyond Grit, a practical mental tool to help you reframe challenges. This week's power phrase: “Setbacks don't define me. I see the opportunity in the obstacle." Quote of the week: “Optimism is a strategy for making a better future. Because unless you believe that the future can be better, you are unlikely to step up and take responsibility for making it so.” — Noam Chomsky Tune in to learn how to train your brain for optimism—and why that mindset is your performance advantage.
