Listen to learn the emotional impact of revealing secrets vs discovering them. In this episode Stu, Chas and Mel apply the Landmark–Hidden–Secret framework (from DZ-126) across two very different genres: the thriller SIDE EFFECTS (2013) and the tragicomic pilot of SHRINKING. SIDE EFFECTS is a film of two genres. The first half plays as a drama about depression and over-medication; the second half is a 90s thriller. We talk about how every time Dr Jonathan Banks uncovers a new piece of information, it puts him in danger — and that danger motivates him to uncover more. In SHRINKING, we see a different use of the framework. "What are psychologists but detectives of the mind?" Rather than the cost of finding secrets, it's about the cost of sharing them. Chas also comes out of this with a paradigm he's been building toward (but we're keeping what that is secret until you listen!) And inevitably we go on some tangents: whether SIDE EFFECTS should even have been an erotic thriller!
Verkaufen an Geschäftskunden - Vertrieb & Verkauf - Mit Stephan Heinrich
Wer nur überzeugen will, wirkt belehrend. If you've been telling yourself that your circumstances are the reason you keep falling off track, this episode is for you. Because stress isn't the decision. Being tired isn't the decision. Isaac breaks down the struggles that come with hunting educated gobblers, adapting on the fly, and why patience and discipline matter more than ever in today's woods. We also get into 20 gauge setups—why more hunters are making the switch, how to build a lethal but efficient rig, and what actually matters when it comes to patterning and performance.Strategy is the backbone of this one. From reading terrain and bird behavior to knowing when to push and when to sit still, this episode is all about making smarter decisions when it counts. No shortcuts. No gimmicks. Just hard-earned knowledge from time in the field. If you've ever battled public land birds or want to sharpen your approach this spring—this one's for you.
Trail and Brady sit down with Zack Boughton of Montana Wild to break down what really goes into building an accurate rifle—and more importantly, how to make that accuracy translate in the field. From rifle setup and component selection to practical ways to tighten your groups, this episode dives into the details that actually move the needle. They also get into the crossover between hunting and the competitive world of NRL and PRS shooting—what carries over, what doesn't, and how competition can expose weaknesses in your system and your shooting. Whether you're dialing for distance on steel or making a one-shot count on an animal, this conversation offers insight to help you become more confident and capable behind the rifle.Learn more about GOHUNT.Follow GOHUNT on Social Media:InstagramYouTube - Podcast ChannelYouTube - Main ChannelFacebook
Interviews With The Hunting Masters - Big game Hunting podcast
Welcome back to Days in the Wild Big Game Hunting Podcast, brought to you by Phoenix Shooting Bags. In this episode, recorded live from the Mile High Expo, I sit down with Jason Phelps to talk all things turkey hunting. We dive into late-season turkey behavior, why older toms can actually become more killable in mid-May, and how subtle calling can make all the difference when birds start hanging up. If you've ever struggled with late-season gobblers, wondered when to call and when to shut up, or tried to figure out Merriam's birds in the West, this episode is full of practical insight you can take straight into the field. Jason breaks down how he approaches a brand-new area, how he likes to roost birds, where he sets up in relation to the tree, and why turkey hunting in the mountains often feels a whole lot like elk hunting. We also get into subspecies differences, decoy use for archery, late-season patterns, and why some birds seem easy while others humble you quick. In This Episode We Cover Why late-season turkey hunting can be deadly on older toms How the breeding cycle changes gobbler behavior Why mid-May can be a prime time to target mature birds The mistake of overcalling once a bird answers on the roost Why subtle calling — or silence — often works better How to think about a gobbler's visual expectations when he pitches down Merriam's vs Rio's vs Easterns and how their behavior differs Why archery turkey hunting often benefits from a decoy setup How Jason scouts and roosts birds in unfamiliar country Why turkey hunting in the West feels a lot like elk hunting The challenge and reward of aggressive run-and-gun turkey tactics Stories from Arizona, Florida, Long Island, Nebraska, California, and Mexico Key Takeaways Late season can be the best time to kill older birds. Once hens begin laying and spending more time on the nest, gobblers often become easier to work because they suddenly find themselves alone and looking. Once a bird answers from the roost, less is often more. One of the biggest mistakes hunters make is continuing to call too much. Once he knows where you are, silence can be your best move. Setups matter as much as calling. A gobbler expects to see the hen where he heard her. If your setup doesn't account for that, you can get hung up birds no matter how well you call. Merriam's birds are different. They roam more, change roost trees more often, and can require a more aggressive, mobile style of hunting. Turkey hunting in the mountains has a lot in common with elk hunting. Covering country, using terrain, cutting distance, locating vocal birds, and making smart moves all carry over. Memorable Topics from the Conversation Why Jason likes to hunt that May 5 to May 15 window for mature gobblers The importance of knowing when a hen should be visible to a bird How bobcats and predators can affect when birds come off the roost in certain areas Why decoys may matter more in late-season archery setups The difference between hunting a bird's routine and hunting a bird that has become more erratic Why running ridges for gobbles in Merriam's country feels just like chasing elk Quote Worth Remembering “As soon as I know that my tree yelp got that gobble, do not call again until that bird pitches out of the roost. All you can do is screw it up from there.” Why This Episode Matters Turkey hunting can seem simple until you start trying to consistently kill mature birds. Then you realize it's a game of timing, setup, patience, and reading behavior. This episode is a great reminder that success often comes from doing less, paying attention, and understanding where the bird is in the season — not just how good you are on a call. How to Trade Stocks and Options Podcast by 10minutestocktrader.com
Are you looking to save time, make money, and start winning with less risk? Then head to https://www.ovtlyr.com.This breakdown of the 805% U.S. Investing Championship run is one of the most eye-opening trading lessons you'll watch this year.Everyone loves to assume massive returns come from secret algorithms or hidden indicators. But what actually drove that explosive performance? Simplicity. Discipline. Relentless consistency. In this video, the full journey is unpacked, from blowing up accounts to refining a repeatable edge. The shift was not about adding complexity. It was about removing noise. Three core setups. Tight risk management. No emotional attachment. Just execution. You'll see how concepts inspired by Mark Minervini and the Volatility Contraction Pattern translate into real intraday momentum trades. Charts like NVIDIA and Advanced Micro Devices are used to show how trend alignment, EMA structure, and breakout confirmation create powerful asymmetric opportunities. Here's what really stands out:✅ Why 90% of traders lose early and how to avoid that trap✅ The psychology behind tight stop losses and consistent execution✅ How VCP, horizontal breakouts, and classic pullbacks share the same DNA✅ Why discipline creates freedom in tradingThere's also a clear reminder that OVTLYR is built to eliminate conflicting signals. When all confirmations align, decisions become instinctive. When they don't, no trade. That level of clarity is what separates noise from edge. This is not about hype. It's about building a mathematical, repeatable trading plan that fits personality and risk tolerance. Whether you prefer swing trading, day trading, or long-term investing, the real edge comes from consistency and process.Watch closely. Apply selectively. Execute relentlessly.Subscribe to OVTLYR for disciplined trading strategies that actually make sense.
In this week's Stansberry Investor Hour, Dan and Corey welcome Andy Swan to the show. Andy is the co-founder of LikeFolio, a financial-technology company focused on providing its clients with actionable research based on consumer-driven data. He has a free report focused on a new wave of health care and AI that can inform investors of how to best prepare before it arrives. You can download the report here. Andy kicks things off by sharing how LikeFolio evolved from being designed to create "like" portfolios for social media users based on the companies they and their friends are interested in to being geared toward investors and traders. He says that the data from social media and other publicly available sources is very powerful because it can show where consumer sentiment is for a product and can help estimate sales for a product before an earnings report is released. Andy then provides some of his background in trading, along with his rules for investing. Next, Andy states that investors need to have some guardrails in place to protect their capital when investing. However, he believes that there's no "one size fits all" method and that investors need to ensure that the rules they establish match their approach. Andy switches the topic to the ease and accessibility of trading with apps like Robinhood. But he warns users to beware leveraged exchange-traded funds – while they sound appealing because of the potential to triple gains, "poisonous" stocks in a fund could send you tumbling. He then gives his thoughts on how AI is changing the world and what he thinks is the next step in its development. Finally, Andy discusses how one company is currently hated due to its financials, but according to his data, consumers are gravitating toward it. He compares it with other stocks that lost money early on but turned into behemoths in today's market due to new customers consistently using their products. This company could follow in their steps based on his data. And Andy provides his thoughts on the type of mentality to have as an investor.

In this episode of The High Performance Mindset, Dr. Cindra Kamphoff sits down with Johnny Quinn—U.S. Olympian, former professional football player, keynote speaker, and bestselling author of PUSH: Breaking Through the Barriers—to explore what it really takes to move forward when life doesn't go as planned. Johnny shares his remarkable journey of being cut from the NFL multiple times, losing millions in contracts, suffering a career-altering knee injury, and ultimately redefining his identity beyond the game. Rather than letting setbacks define him, Johnny explains how one powerful question—"What's next?"—became the catalyst that led him to represent Team USA in bobsled at the 2014 Winter Olympics. Throughout the conversation, Johnny breaks down the invisible barriers that hold high performers back, the difference between a setback and a setup, and how daily mindset choices shape our response to change, loss, and uncertainty. He also connects lessons from elite sport to leadership and organizational culture, explaining how accountability, resilience, and discomfort are essential ingredients for sustained high performance. This episode is a powerful reminder that confidence isn't about certainty—it's about adaptability, ownership, and the courage to keep pushing forward when the path changes.
