FOX Sports' lead College Football analyst Joel Klatt reacts to Indiana and Miami advancing to face off in the National Championship Game. He revels in #1 Indiana's demolition of Oregon as Curt Cignetti's group continues to roll through the Playoff, sparking a comparison to one of the best teams in recent memory. Klatt also breaks down the wild Semifinal between Miami and Ole Miss as Carson Beck & the Hurricanes stepped up in the biggest moment to return to knock off a valient Ole Miss team led by their QB Trinidad Chambliss. Following the Rebels' loss - which ensured a 3rd straight National Championship Game without an SEC team - Klatt examines the conversation around whether the SEC is still the best conference in College Football and how the sport would benefit from a shift in perspective. 0:00-1:46 Intro1:47-21:35 Indiana blows out Oregon to advance to National Championship21:36-38:58 Miami beats Ole Miss to advance to National Championship38:59-47:23 Has the SEC been dethroned as the best conference in college football? Galen Clavio is joined by Taylor Lehman (Bite Sized Bison) for a numbers-driven preview of Indiana vs Oregon in the Peach Bowl CFP semifinal. After a few quick Atlanta travel/event notes, they dive straight into the matchup: what Indiana's 38–3 Rose Bowl win over Alabama revealed schematically, what Oregon showed (and didn't show) against Texas Tech, and why this rematch is a completely different puzzle than the first meeting. They break down how Indiana's defense adjusts without Stephen Daley and Kellen Wyatt, what it means if Indiana can't recreate the same pressure avalanche on Dante Moore, and how Bryant Haines may use structure and simulated pressure to limit explosives. On the other side, they examine how Indiana's offense has evolved since October—Fernando Mendoza's leap, the emergence of Charlie Becker as a true vertical threat, the steady presence of Elijah Sarratt and Omar Cooper, plus why Roman Hemby and Kellen Black are so difficult to game-plan for. Then it's chart time: SP+ / efficiency indicators, trench matchups, red-zone keys, and a final prediction for a game that could decide the national title favorite.

On this episode of the JT Sports Podcast, JT breaks down his semifinal picks with Miami Hurricanes front and center, and JT explains why the Miami Hurricanes are too violent up front for Ole Miss to survive four quarters. JT says the Miami Hurricanes can win a shootout or a rock fight because Carson Beck won't be pressured the way he was earlier in the playoffs and Ole Miss' defense can't stop the run without getting cooked over the top. JT also previews Indiana vs Oregon and makes the case that Oregon's sloppiness and turnover risk is exactly how you lose to a team like Indiana that doesn't beat itself. JT gives his final calls with Miami Hurricanes beating Ole Miss and Indiana edging Oregon, setting up a Miami Hurricanes vs Indiana national title matchup.

We are inching closer and closer to the culmination of the college football season and this week gives us the next step on that journey. The College Football Playoff Semifinals. One of the star quarterbacks in the playoff is fighting to get a sixth year of eligibility from the NCAA. Ross Dellenger explains this story and how there is a chance Trinidad Chambliss is back at Ole Miss next season. Then Ross, Andy Staples and Steven Godfrey discuss Chambliss' effect on the Rebel's this season. They breakdown the semifinal matchup against Miami by discussing who has the advantage and what each team needs to do to move on to the Natty. Then, they move over to the other semifinal. This is a rematch from earlier in the year as Oregon takes on Indiana. Indiana got the best of Oregon in Eugene, but the guys talk about how this is a much different Oregon team than it was in the first matchup. They discuss if Oregon will be able to get the best of this dominant Indiana team or if the Hoosiers will claim their spot in the championship game. Plus, they look at how the Big Ten conference was not given enough credit for the strength of its teams this year. Later, Ross reports about the college football calendar changing yet again. No more spring ball? Discussions are being had about changes to the early signing period, games in Week 0, CFP dates, the dates of the portal and spring and summer access periods. Ross, Andy and Godfrey discuss the benefits of changing all of these and what changes should happen to improve the college football calendar.Get ready for the CFP Semifinals with College Football Enquirer.0:00:00 - Trinidad Chambliss petitions for 6th year15:21 - Miami vs. Ole Miss CFP Semifinal28:07 - Oregon vs. Indiana CFP Semifinal48:13 - Fixing the college football calendar Subscribe to the College Football Enquirer on your favorite podcast app:

The Ole Miss Rebels may be without Lane Kiffin, but they are proving to be a juggernaut in the college football postseason. The Miami Hurricanes have surprised many, but not Canes fans who have seen this team get better and better as the the CFP has moved along. The Miami defense will have its hands full with a dynamic playmaker in Ole Miss QB Trinidad Chambliss. He uses his legs to make big pass plays happen. We break down what the Corey Heatherman-coached defense has to do to contain Chambliss. Here is Cam's piece on the Miami defense's success against mobile quarterbacks this season. The Ole Miss defense has been susceptible to the run, but Miami will also have to rely on Carson Beck to get the passing game going, as we think points will need to be scored to keep up with Ole Miss. We also have the latest on 'Canes injuries, and we dive into the transfer portal as well. Check out Cam and his staff's great work at StateOfTheU.com Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. FOX Sports' lead College Football analyst Joel Klatt makes his picks for the College Football Playoff Semifinals between Indiana & Oregon and Miami vs Ole Miss. He explains why we should be talking about this Indiana team as one of the most dominant teams in recent memory as they take on the Ducks. Klatt points out Oregon's best path to an upset against the only unbeaten team in the country. He then makes his pick as Miami takes on an Ole Miss team that is coming off a huge win over Georgia but also dealing with continued coaching uncertainty as several staff members are juggling two jobs – for Lane Kiffin's LSU team and for the Rebels - as they prepare for the biggest game in Ole Miss history. Klatt also reacts to the latest Portal news as Indiana has found their QB and WR combo for next year's team. He also discusses the latest moves by Penn State, bringing in DC D'Anton Lynn from USC and Matt Campbell's QB from Iowa State, Rocco Becht. Klatt reacts to Kyle Whittingham's hires at OC and DC for Michigan and the news that several key players for Michigan have entered the Transfer Portal. 0:00-1:56 Intro1:57-14:39 Peach Bowl preview14:40-22:52 Fiesta Bowl preview22:53-27:22 Transfer portal news around CFB Use my code for 10% off your next SeatGeek order*: https://seatgeek.onelink.me/RrnK/KLATT10 Sponsored by SeatGeek. *Restrictions apply.
