Send us a textA single sip can change the story you're telling. We start with a Jungle Bird inspired by Skipper Canteen—rum deepened with a touch of 151, Campari softened with Aperol, pineapple and lime bringing a bright finish that somehow reads like grapefruit. It's balanced, unexpected, and the perfect metaphor for the episode: a playful idea with a smart backbone. Then we draft the Disney pets we'd actually live with, and the criteria get real. Maximus brings big dog energy in a horse frame, while Pascal proves that pocket-sized can still be prime company. Dory sparks a hilarious but honest take on pet practicality. Hey Hey guarantees laughter through chaos, and Abu becomes the ultimate snack heist partner who's handy at ballparks and grocery aisles. Pluto anchors the list as the proven companion we all know, and Remy flips the script on household duty—imagine a five-star kitchen run by a genius chef who fits under a toque, possible cousins and all. When we talk protection and presence, Raja stands tall as emotional support tiger, and Kenai raises good questions about wildness and trust. Stitch earns his spot on loyalty alone, especially post-mayhem. Doug from Up reminds us why we love dogs: pure heart, open honesty, and conversations that actually talk back. Pegasus shows up for personality and transportation—your commute has never looked better—and Cusco's llama sarcasm keeps the house lively. We close with Nana from Peter Pan, the quiet MVP who brings care, order, and tenderness when it's needed most.If you love Disney, cocktails, and the kind of ranking game that reveals what really matters at home—laughter, loyalty, and a bit of magic—this one's for you. Hit play, then tell us your top three dream Disney roommates. Subscribe, share with a friend who needs a loyal Doug or a chef named Remy, and leave a quick review to help more fans find the show.

We're taking you on a flavorful adventure across Walt Disney World with three unique stops that deliver everything from hidden menu gems to over-the-top themed cocktails. We start at Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen in Magic Kingdom, where we try the Enchanted Orange Dream — a refreshing, citrusy twist on DOLE Whip served with a playful candy rim. We also indulge in their off-menu Brazilian cheese bread (trust us, it's worth asking for), as well as two standout entrées: the Mess Hall Duck Fried Rice and the Nile Nellie's Noodle Bowl.Next, we head over to Disney Springs and drop into Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar for a mix of spooky snacks and creative concoctions. From deviled “zombie” eggs and mummy-wrapped sausages to the vibrant Cauldron Cooler and the nonalcoholic Snake Egg Surprise, this spot blends Indiana Jones-style theming with Halloween-ready flavor. Finally, we wrap things up at Beak & Barrel, the brand-new pirate lounge tucked into Adventureland at Magic Kingdom. With its moody décor, shareable plates, and immersive drinks served in skull mugs and topped with gold, it's already one of the most exciting new dining additions in the parks. Grab your appetite and join us!

Send us a textWhat happens when Disney Imagineers lose their minds completely? We explore this hilarious premise while enjoying a dangerously delicious Jungle Bird cocktail from Skipper Canteen. This rum and pineapple concoction ($15.50) proves to be the perfect companion as we dive into creating the most absurd, impractical, and downright terrible Disney park additions imaginable. Our comedic journey takes us through attractions like Hannah Montana's Wrecking Ball ride, where guests swing on actual wrecking balls to the infamous song, and a Walk-Through Flea Farm at Animal Kingdom with real fleas and the potential for itchy souvenirs. We design the ultimate anti-attraction with our Waiting in Line Adventure – a three-hour queue that ultimately leads to a closed ride, perfectly capturing every Disney fan's worst nightmare. From the boring political debates of our Jedi Council Ride to Goofy's How-To Do Laundry experience (where guests actually wash cast member uniforms), our terrible ideas span every Disney park. We imagine the perfect waste of time with Test Track Traffic Stop, where the ride moves just ten feet before stopping in traffic for ten minutes, and a Parent Trap Mega Ferris Wheel featuring arguing parents who reconcile as "Let's Get Together" blares at painful volumes. The absurdity continues with unconventional shopping experiences like Duke Wessleton's Toupee and Uniform Ye Olde Shoppe and a Lost and Found Emporium selling items abandoned by previous guests. We even propose a Yemen Pavilion at EPCOT and a Therapy Carousel of Progress showcasing dysfunctional family therapy throughout the decades.Whether you're a Disney fan looking for a good laugh or someone who enjoys creative satire of theme park experiences, this episode offers a thoroughly entertaining journey through attractions that would make even the most desperate parent flee the parks. Which of our terrible ideas would you avoid at all costs? Here's who we are and what is in store for you

Disney World Restaurants Vibe Check If you've spent any time at all hanging out with the Gold Key Adventurers, you know we have a lot of opinions about the best places to eat and drink around Walt Disney World. For this week's episode, we're going to throw that all out. We're talking restaurants, but totally ignoring the food and beverage part - you know, their whole reason for exising. Instead, we're going to rate the best (and some of the worst) eateries on Disney property based solely on their decor and atmosphere. The atmosphere of a restaurant is almost as important as the food they serve - if the vibes aren't right, the meal just won't be enjoyable. When you add Disney's tendency to theme the heck out of everything, and write extensive background stories for every bathroom and snack stand to the equation, the atmosphere of a restaurant can sometimes even elevate an average meal to something more memorable than it deserves to be. In this episode, we go around the virtual table and discuss some of our picks for Walt Disney World restaurants with the best atmosphere, as well as some that receive a special dishonorable mention and could use a refurb. In no particular order, some of the spots we talk about are Magic Kingdom's Skipper Canteen, Steakhouse 71, Oga's Cantina, Citrico's, Chef Mickey's, and Abracadar. Can you guess which get a thumbs up, and which a thumbs down? What restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort get your vote for best atmosphere, and which just don't pass the vibe check? As always, a huge thank you to our sponsor, Key to the World Travel. For all your travel needs, Key to the World Travel's  expert travel advisors are standing by.     Favorite Disney World Restaurants 2023   Now that dining plans are back at Walt Disney World, it's time to start planning all the tasted meals you're going to use those dining credits on in 2024! We're kicking off a summer of Disney Dining this week with a look at some of our favorite under rated quick service and table service restaurants around Walt Disney World, as well as the spots we think are totally over rated, and not worth spending your precious meal credits on.  We also want to share with you a couple new/newly updated spots that we really think you should check out next time you visit Walt Disney World.    Topics of discussion include: Should we give Be Our Guest another chance? Magic Kingdom dining could use some help. Always eat at the Jungle Navigation Co. Skipper Canteen! EPCOT is dining heaven, at least as long as you stay in World Showcase. Hollywood Studios doesn't seem like it has a lot of great dining, but we actually had a long list of spots we like there.  Animal Kingdom has tons of hidden gems, especially if you like Asian food or barbecue.  Disney Springs has too many options to count, but a ton of them are great! Don't pass on House of Blues, and check out the takeout window versions of some of the nicer table service locations.  We didn't have enough time to dig into the dining options at the resort hotels, but Heather and Jeff recently tried a few new/updated spots they wanted to recommend. The updated menu at Narcoosee's at the Grand Floridian has elevated the restaurant from “meh” to “must try”! Rosa Mexicana at the Dolphin is elevated Mexican food that is more than worth the trip to sample. Amare at the new Swan Reserve tower is a fantastic spot for some fine Mediterranean style dining.  We have a long list of places we still need to eat at! Keep an eye out for more culinary adventures this summer.    As always, a huge thank you to our sponsor, Key to the World Travel. Enchanted Ears Podcast: Anything & Everything Disney

Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney. Before we jump into the main topic, it's time for a little Disney News! Behind the Scenes tours in EPCOT are coming back October 2. Skipper Canteen added some new food items including a hanger steak, lamb chops, and a delicious orange Dole whip drink. It was announced that the Springtime Surprise Race will be Pixar-themed. And finally, the Disney Legends were announced for this year and what's very interesting is the cast of Frozen is on the list. Since Legend announcements usually commemorate some event, it makes us wonder, are they gonna announce Frozen 3? Last week, we talked about our fantastic trip to Portugal with Adventures by Disney. This week we finish talking about our European getaway by rehashing about our visit to Disneyland Paris. We talk about the parks, where we stayed, what's the same, what's different, what we ate, crowd levels, the AMAZING shows, their 30th anniversary celebration, the amazing shop almost entirely dedicated to the best Disney movie ever, and more! If you're looking to plan a Disney trip reach out to Becky Ginther at beckyg@castledreamstravel.com and let her know Enchanted Ears sent you.
