It's the podcast that's rated SM-R (Sorry, Mrs. Reed) but has still managed to avoid that pesky explicit rating - It's Guys of a Certain Age!   Also the podcast that's made approximately $27.50 in advertising over almost 300 episodes - they have a ways to catch up to Deadpool and Wolverine, which is shattering box office records one after the other.  And that doesn't even include the 116 F-bombs and the special edition chimichanga at Disneyland.  It had all the surprise cameos, all the easter eggs, all the cultural references, all the Reynolds/Lively family, all the Deadpools and all the Wolverines from all the universes (or is it universi?), and did we mention, all the F-bombs?  The Guys agreed it was quite the spectacle, but still hit all the buttons of great superhero action, plot twists, tear potential, comic fan service, and fourth wall interaction.   Mrs. Reed is unlikely to see it in theaters or anywhere else, but The Guys are ready to see it again.  Spoilers abound, so beware!  

This is our review of DP and Wolvie.  We talk everything Marvel, though, including the potential addition of Henry Cavill.  This episode is pure fun for us, but don't get it twisted-THERE ARE SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT. In this one, the couple of ramblin men in the title travel across dimensions in a bid to save what the hosts eventually believe is Marvel 10005, his home universe from the TVA, Professor X's in utero twin and a host of other characters from other continuities, franchises and even mediums! Red and Wolvie arrive like a prayer, just when comic book movies need the fans to believe in them again. Does it work? Are they back!?! Did they save the MCU with the power of love!!?!! The yellow Wolverine suit has been referred to and joked about for years in other X-Men-related movies, but it seems it will finally be donned by Wolvie himself. And in more Deadpool 3 news, Jennifer Garner is set to return to her role of Elektra after nearly 20 years. Trailer Park! Ahsoka Star Wars released a two-minute trailer for Ahsoka the Disney+ show starring Rosario Dawson that drops next month. It will start with a two episode premiere which is becoming a trend for Star Wars, with mostly positive reaction from fans. Blue Beetle DC dropped its final trailer for Blue Beetle, releasing in theaters on August 18. Bob Marley: One Love Secret Invasion star Kingsley Ben-Adir who plays Gravick will play Reggae icon Bob Marley in the biopic, One Love, coming to theaters on January 12, 2024. Napoleon The first trailer for Ridley Scott's next epic war film, Napoleon, has debuted. The film stars Joaquin Phoenix and Vanessa Kirby and has a theatrical release date of November 22. Shang-Chi star Simu Liu confirmed on Meta's new Twitter competitor Threads that the highly-anticipated sequel to Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings has been delayed saying, “Was told it would follow Avengers, but that keeps pushing back due to circumstances beyond my control.” It was another disappointing week in the box office, with Insidious the Red Door opening to a $32.7 million dollar domestic box office, taking the top spot away from Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, which only brought in $26.5 million domestically in its second weekend. The faith-based movie about child sex trafficking, The Sound of Freedom, made headlines after earning $40 million in its first week of release and placing 3rd at the domestic box office, despite high profile, big budget competition, and controversy surrounding statements from its lead Jim Caviezel. A deleted scene confirming the High Evoluationary's fate was released, showing that the widely-hated villain is indeed alive if not 100% well. This is a different ending than most of Marvel's villains receive.

As we enter the festive season, this episode from August 2018 feels more and more relevant. With his 10-year-old co-host (and granddaughter!) Ainsley Jane, Anthony reminds us of the importance of play and imagination. Through her love of Frozen and memories of building sandcastles with “Wolvie”, Ainsley's perspective is vital to understanding not only the key leadership points that childlike wonder has to teach us, but also the importance of retaining our creativity, curiosity, and determination. How can we tap back into those childlike lessons of leadership? The ones that come so intuitively to us as kids, but that we lose sight of as we enter adulthood?
