Today we talk to Leslie Tagorda, The Savvy Luminary, about astrology in entrepreneurship. Leslie is a mulit-racial brand astrologer, author, podcast host, and creator of the AstroBrand Method. She helps spiritual entrepreneurs and change-makers become the luminary leaders they were born to be. Listen as Leslie explains how she uncovered her purpose when a crisis in her business led her to her natal chart, and her signature astrological method revealed itself.  How does AstroBrand Differ From Regular Astrology  Each of our planetary placements represent different parts of our businesses. Communication, Values, Attraction, Leadership, etc. There exists a branding framework right within our natal charts. Leslie shares that once she had that “a-ha” moment the Universe started to open more synchronistic opportunities for her to grow that business. This is exactly what I teach. When we work with our Guides and tell them what we want, they start to open doors. The more we say yes to those opportunities, they show us the next door and the next and so on.   The Big Three  In astrology, the big three are our two luminaries (sun & moon) and our rising sign. Our sun sign is based on our birth date. The moon sign is determined by the day and time of your birth, as the moon can change signs in the middle of a day. Finally your rising sign is the sign that was rising on the eastern horizon at the time and place you were born. These 3 pillars are the foundation of our natal chart. We want to align our business to our native date as our businesses are extensions of our own soul.  Finding Your Ideal Client   An entrepreneur's ideal client exists on polarity with their rising sign, which governs the how. How you take initiative, lead, and present yourself. Therefore our ideal client will be the archetype of the sign opposite our rising sign. Leslie explains how this looks for my Leo rising placement. When we pivot and step fully into how our rising sign instructs us to handle ourselves in our business, we magnetically attract our ideal clients.  Mercury & Communication  Mercury rules communication. The process of Mercury is to express, perceive and understand. Mercury on its own is just the messenger to our soul's consciousness. In the signs where Mercury is very strong (Gemini & Virgo) we find effective communicators. Conversely, Mercury in its determinants (like Pisces) find people who communicate differently. They communicate creatively (through spirit, art, music, dreams). When we understand this we can develop marketing that best communicates what our business has to offer..  A Common Misconception About Astrology  Leslie discusses seeing clients who created a perception of their chart based on previous astrologers telling them about aspects of their placements where things may be challenging or difficult. She shares that she doesn't subscribe to this narrative because they then become oblivious to all the many gifts that also exist in their chart. We have the power to reframe and use a different language around these archetypal energies and turn them into useful tools. Being Spiritual & Ambitious, I bet you've found yourself before caught up in the constant wheel of doing, doing, doing. Sometimes we forget how to get back to that place of being able to receive and find our way back to alignment. When someone gives us help, a gift, or a compliment, receive it gratefully. As well as when our feelings get hurt or something isn't going the way we intended we need to let that in the same way. When we force ourselves to suppress the more “negative” aspects we end up holding onto that energy. Which then turns into the very thing that can block our manifesting of the “big” things in our lives.   Accept Yourself  There are days where you are not going to be that perfect version of yourself. It is in those times that we need to accept ourselves anyway. Perfection is the version you claim you need to be to attract what you most desire, when it is in fact the opposite. Patty explains how it is letting in all aspects of yourself that gets you to your highest and best life the quickest.  Clear Space To Make Space  When we usually talk about manifesting and receiving we are talking about the more esoteric concepts. But it still remains important to keep our physical spaces clear of the items that spark guilt or make you feel “less than”. Patty shares a recent real world example that seems so simple yet had such a huge impact for her.  Learn Your Intuition  This tenet is where Patty and I overlap in our teaching. Her method identifies the importance of discovering how your intuitive language is unique to you. We have to let go of old beliefs and expectations of how we think our intuitive messages should come in and learn to accept them the way we are designed to receive them; whether we see, hear, feel or know what Spirit needs to communicate.  Do your 100%  This step is about how to surrender. Your 100% is a very physical experience. You will absolutely feel this in your body. Do the steps that you know to do until you are met with too much resistance to proceed. That is your 100% and it gives you permission to stop, hand it over to Spirit, and re-energize. May 22, 2019, | Pastor Nathan Elms Matthew 15:21 • It is easy to pretend that we are Spiritual, but not be. • Being Spiritual is not something that we can switch on, but is something that we must invest in throughout the day with the Lord. • We must be spiritually naked and vulnerable before the Lord. This is what it means to be authentic and transparent. • At the beginning of being authentic is when the Lord will take your hand. • We can't fake God out. There is no pretending with God because He truly knows us. We can only ask him. • It is not about God serving us, we serve God. The woman in the text may have wanted to present herself as a Jew, even though she wasn't. • The Lord knows everything about us and trying to posture and fake our way to a miracle, will not work with the Lord. • The shortest path to God is the path of surrender and spiritual authenticity. • Worship celebrates Who God is and is not about what God has done or can do. The Lord is still looking for worshipers. • Faith moves God. Faith is the ability to understand Who God is and who we are in Him. We should not allow status to hinder our faith. • We cannot manipulate God. The Lord represents the ultimate good in our lives and we should approach him that way. • How do we grow in faith? We exercise our faith. Faith responds to activity. 1. We should immerse ourselves in the Word of God; which will show us God's nature and heart. If we have a problem, quote Scripture to it. 2. Pursue Divine presence and fellowship with prayer. Commit to that relationship. 3. Make a place for communing with the Lord.

Today we are going to talk about a great tool called The Quality of Life (QOL) Enhancer Exercise. Almost everyone has lamented, at one time or another, about not having enough time in the day. Have you ever said or thought, “I wish I had more time?”, “If I had more time, I would _____.”, “If there were a few more hours in this day, I could _____.” Most of us, at some time or another, have probably thought or said this to ourselves and heard others say something like this too. The truth is, even if we had five extra hours each day, we would probably still misuse the time and bemoan our inability to finish everything with which we task ourselves. The Quality of Life Enhancer™ Exercise is a powerful tool. The through-provoking and fun exercise is based on two principles: 1. The more we can align our behavior with our core values (what’s important to us), the happier, more satisfied, and fulfilled we’ll be with our lives. 2. The more we delegate the tasks that are less important, the more time we have for what’s more important. So often we make choices about how we’ll spend our time unconsciously, and this unique exercise is designed to help you make conscious choices. Roy Disney once said, “When your values are clear, your decisions are easy.” When your values are clear and you know what you need to do to fulfill them—and you realize there are only a finite number of hours in the day—the decision to delegate what you can is much easier to make. The QOL Enhancer Exercise is a gift you give your clients, prospects and strategic alliances, centers of influence, friends, and associates. It is a gift of focus and clarity, and it can even help you and the people you share this exercise with to visualize things differently in their life. I believe it is one of the most powerful exercises and it is not utilized enough. When we use this tool, we can have a huge impact on your relationships and your life, not to mention when you share it with others. The exercise starts with the question, What is more important in life than money? Another way to you may think of it is: What do you wish you had more time to do? Put that item/activity in the column headed Life Quality (it will be on the left side of the page). For example, it can be things like Being Healthy, Being Spiritual, Having Fun, Time with Family, Charity, etc. The fact is that there are only 168 hours in the week. The QOL Exercise allows people to think about what they truly would like to do with their time. It helps us focus on those important things and delegate the rest. Imagine for a minute-- how different your life would be when you do some of the items you wrote down on this exercise.
