Billy Carson, founder and CEO of 4BiddenKnowledge TV, joined guest host Richard Syrett (Twitter) for a conversation on the concept of the universe as a fractal hologram. He described fractals as self-repeating patterns found at every scale in nature and as fundamental to understanding reality. These patterns, seen in structures like galaxies, hurricanes, and even the branching of trees and lungs, reveal a deep interconnectedness throughout the cosmos, he explained. According to Carson, the fractal nature of the universe suggests that the same principles operate from the microscopic to the macroscopic, which underscores the idea of a unified and elegantly structured reality. The holographic principle adds another layer to this understanding, he continued, proposing that the universe functions like a hologram, where every part contains the whole. Carson highlighted discoveries in quantum physics, such as the double-slit experiment, which demonstrates that reality exists as waves of potential until observed by a conscious mind. This observation collapses the potential into tangible reality, much like frames in a video game are generated dynamically as needed. The fractal and holographic nature of the universe, he argued, is driven by mathematical codes, such as the Mandelbrot set, which govern the formation and structure of everything from atoms to galaxies.Carson also delved into how ancient teachings, like Plato's "Allegory of the Cave" and Hindu concepts of Maya, align with the idea of a fractal holographic universe. These traditions recognized reality as an illusion, underpinned by a hidden, interconnected structure. He suggested that humans are fractals of divine universal consciousness, collecting experiences that contribute to a greater cosmic understanding. This perspective frames humanity not as isolated individuals but as integral components of a vast, interconnected cosmic design, he noted.------------------------------------------In the second half of the program, filmmaker Kym Staton discussed the Julian Assange story and "The Trust Fall: Julian Assange" documentary. He described Assange's background before WikiLeaks, highlighting his studies in mathematics, science, and computer science at the University of Melbourne. Assange was an encryption expert and utilized his skills to support his studies and develop technologies for whistleblower protection. This vision led to the creation of WikiLeaks in 2005, a groundbreaking platform designed to safeguard whistleblower anonymity. Staton explained how Assange's interest in protecting sources stemmed from learning about whistleblowers like Daniel Ellsberg, who revealed the Pentagon Papers and faced legal repercussions.Staton emphasized WikiLeaks' revolutionary use of encryption, which democratized access to secure communication, previously limited to governments and the elite. Assange's platform ensured whistleblower anonymity through an untraceable dropbox and safeguarded its content via a decentralized server system, making the website resilient against attacks, he reported. Staton underscored how WikiLeaks reshaped global transparency and whistleblower activity, despite facing allegations about risking lives, which were later debunked in court and by independent investigations. He detailed how WikiLeaks' disclosures—like the Collateral Murder video and the DNC email leaks—triggered a backlash from powerful figures. These revelations exposed war crimes, corruption, and controversial government actions, which led to Assange being targeted by the U.S. and other governments. Staton recounted how Assange's years-long confinement in the Ecuadorian embassy and his subsequent imprisonment took a toll on his mental and physical health, illustrating the immense personal cost of his commitment to transparency. Staton also refuted myths surrounding Assange, such as endangering lives or criminal charges in Sweden, and framed him instead as a courageous advocate for truth and justice.

Kym Staton discusses his documentary film The Trust Fall: Julian Assange. WikiLeaks' "Collateral Murder" release is what initially woke him up. He documents the abuse and oppression of Assange and through the film seeks to inspire action. He comments on the empire, the secret state, and transnational security elite. He talks about interviewing the late John Pilger and Daniel Ellsberg among others featured in the film. What was done to Assange was meant to intimidate the rest of the world. Technocrats are becoming more powerful as we move toward a transnational dystopia. He opines on the idea of Assange as some sort of psyop and urges people to take action and do something to fight tyranny and injustice, which creates pressure, because too many people are doing nothing.
Ahead of Julian Assange's final attempt to appeal his extradition to the United States on 17 charges of espionage and one charge of computer misuse, Alex Whisson spoke to his father John Shipton.
In this gripping and eye-opening episode, Niall sits down with Stella Assange, the wife of Julian Assange, to discuss the tumultuous life Julian has faced since his arrest in 2019. With the looming threat of extradition to the U.S., Stella opens up about the challenges and difficulties they have encountered during this trying time. Stella passionately speaks about Julian's significant contributions to journalism, highlighting his brave decision to release vital information and the impactful "Collateral Murder" video. This classified video, leaked by WikiLeaks in April 2010, exposed a tragic incident during the Iraq War where civilians, including Reuters journalists, were killed by a U.S. Army Apache helicopter crew in Baghdad. The shocking video sparked global controversy, leading to debates on military conduct, transparency, and accountability. The release of the "Collateral Murder" video brought immense attention to WikiLeaks and its founder, Julian Assange. It ignited discussions on the role of whistleblowers in revealing classified information and the delicate balance between national security and the public's right to be informed about government actions. Throughout the episode, Stella sheds light on the corruption within the U.S. government and expresses grave concerns about Julian's safety and well-being if he were to be deported to the U.S. The implications of Julian's potential extradition raise serious questions about justice, freedom of the press, and the potential risks he may face if handed over. As Stella shares her deeply personal perspective on Julian's life after arrest, listeners gain profound insights into the complexities and challenges surrounding his situation. The episode delves into the importance of journalistic integrity, transparency in government actions, and the critical role whistleblowers play in holding those in power accountable. In a bold and resolute stance, Stella has publicly voiced her vehement disapproval and condemnation of Ireland's newly enacted hate speech legislation. With unwavering determination, Stella has emerged as a vocal advocate for free speech rights and has expressed deep concerns about the potential consequences that this legislation may have on the fundamental liberties of individuals. Don't miss this explosive and heartfelt episode, as Stella Assange's voice adds a powerful dimension to the ongoing global conversation about press freedom, government transparency, and the protection of whistleblowers. It serves as a poignant reminder of the significance of a free press in a democratic society and the need to safeguard those who dare to expose the truth.

Gosztola presents a primer on who Julian Assange is for those who are unfamiliar with him or who only know of the Collateral Murder video and 2016 election leaks. He then clarifies the charges brought against him. Last week, the UK approved Assange's extradition to the United States. This is a step in the wrong direction, though it will give Assange's team the opportunity to appeal and finally present some of their best arguments against his imprisonment. This conversation was held Live on the day of the court ruling in the UK against Julian Assange, founder and publisher of WikiLeaks. The British Court of Appeal ruled that Assange could be extradited to the US to face charges under the Espionage Act of 1917. The WikiLeaks website came to international attention in 2010 when it published a series of documents and films provided by U.S. Army intelligence analyst Chelsea Manning. These leaks included the Baghdad airstrike Collateral Murder video and the Afghanistan war logs. All with evidence of war crimes. Six years later WikiLeaks published the Democratic National Committee email leaks which showed attempts to denigrate the Bernie Sanders' presidential campaign and promote the candidacy of Hillary Clinton. Julian Assange was blamed for having helped Trump win the election. However the Trump administration, with Attorney General William Barr, showed no gratitude for Assange's alleged support. On May 23, 2019, they charged him with violating the Espionage Act of 1917 and raised the bar for him to 175 years in prison and demanded his extradition from the UK. Branko Marcetic discusses the stunning lack of mainstream media coverage of Julian Assange's case. Besides being the right thing to do, since Assange has heroically helped expose heinous crimes by many of the world's governments, journalists also have a selfish reason to care about Assange's plight: what he does at WikiLeaks is not categorically different from what any of them does when covering stories that originated from leaked documents. And yet nearly everyone in the press seems content to let Assange rot in solitary confinement.
In the summer of 2007, a US airstrike in New Baghdad left a dozen dead, including two journalists, as well as wounding two children. Footage of this attack would be leaked and posted online to WikiLeaks a few years later. In this episode, we discuss the Collateral Murder videos, the actions of Chelsea Manning and Read more...
Ever still wonder if those terrible tech rumors were really true? If American citizens are really all being unconstitutionally spied on by some shady clandestine intelligence agency? One hellbent on a never-ending quest to collect and discriminate the worlds data? With the foundation-rocking revelations of a hand full of whistle blowers beginning in the early 2000's, it seems like to ask such questions seems painfully self-evident. Thanks to their efforts, America learned of a global data-gathering network with access to levels of info and devices, previously thought impossible. Siphoned from computers, cameras, and microphones; to (most shocking of all) private citizen's personal devices. And this machine simply wants one thing: more. However, pulling back the dark curtain to expose the shady underbelly of national security comes at a cost. And for four legendary whistle blowers, the price may have been too high. The alleged actions and illegalities threaten to undermine the appearance and legitimacy of the world’s leading democracies. But this exposure has met with a backlash in the form of arrests, warrants, renditions and extraditions. Will the world learn from the costly sacrifices these whistle blowers have paid? What does the future hold for the concept of privacy? Does the end justify the means? You decide. ***LINKS:Viva Frei on AssangeWe Steal SecretsTerminal FCitizen 4Good Will Hunting NSA scene***CHAPTERS:01:26 Terms06:15 Legislation History08:05 Kevin Poulsen10:28 Bill Binney17:40 Chelsea Manning27:04 Julian Assange50:06 Edward Snowden01:08:02 Conclusion***CONTACT US:TwitterYouTubeWebsite***STREAM US:Google PlayAppleSpotifyStitcheriHeartRadio***SUPPORT US:Markus and Drew can improve bringing you more of this kind of electrifying information with better equipment, software, etc. If you liked what you heard and can afford to help us grow, please throw a couple bucks our way ...and if your budget is too tight but you still want to help please Like, Share and/or leave us a good review. On the show this week, Chris Hedges talks to journalist, Dean Yates, who, 13 years ago, was the head of Reuters’ Baghdad bureau. On July 12, 2007, Yates learned two of his employees, Saeed Chmagh and Namir Noor-Eldeen, had been fired on and killed by the US Army. Their deaths, and those of others, were the focus of the now-infamous video Collateral Murder, leaked by Chelsea Manning and released by Wikileaks.

Birgitta Jónsdóttir is an Icelandic politician, poet, and activist. She was a Member of the Althing (MP) for the Southwest Constituency from 2013 to 2017, representing the Pirate Party, having been elected at the 2013 election. She was previously an MP for Reykjavík Constituency South from 2009 to 2013. In November 2017, she has announced to retire from politics "for now". She was first elected as an MP representing the Citizens' Movement in the 2009 election. Later in 2009, she left the Citizens' Movement and joined The Movement. She became involved with WikiLeaks during Julian Assange's visit to Iceland in 2010, and also helped to produce the Collateral Murder video. Following her time with WikiLeaks, she created the International Modern Media Institute, of which she became executive director in 2011. We discuss the current Political climate across the globe, her work in the Althing and with Wikileaks. What she thinks of Julian Assange now and also the future ahead for her activism.
“If you want peace, be prepared to fight.”— John ShiptonLocation: LondonDate: Tuesday, 10th March 2020In 2010 WikiLeaks gained global recognition when Chelsea Manning, a US Army Soldier, turned whistleblower, released numerous documents via WikiLeaks including the now infamous Collateral Murder. Collateral Murder showed a team of two US AH-64 Apache helicopters firing upon and killing several men including civilians, two of whom were war correspondents working for Reuters.WikiLeaks was founded in 2006 by Julian Assange and specialises in publishing leaked materials. In Assange's own words: "WikiLeaks is a giant library of the world's most persecuted documents. We give asylum to these documents, we analyse them, we promote them, and we obtain more."In 2010 Sweden released an arrest warrant for Assange that alleged two cases of sexual assault. Assange feared that extradition to Sweden, may, in turn, lead to extradition to the US where he believed he could face prosecution for WikiLeaks' publication of the secret US government files.Following a hearing and subsequent legal battle, the UK courts ruled that Assange should be extradited to Sweden to face trial. To prevent extradition, in August 2012, Assange entered the Ecuadorian Embassy in London where he was granted political asylum. He remained there until his arrest in April 2019.Swedish prosecutors have discontinued the investigation into the alleged sexual assault in 2010. However, Assange may still be extradited to the US, where he faces 18 charges of attempted hacking and breaches of the Espionage Act with a possible sentence of 170 years. Since early 2019 Assange has been imprisoned awaiting trial and extradition to the US. The case is in the hands of the UK courts and will, likely, be decided in May 2020.Throughout the nearly seven years inside the Ecuadorian Embassy and the past year that Assange has been imprisoned, there have been several concerns raised over both his physical and mental health and the potential violations of Julian's human rights. In this interview, I talk to John Shipton, Julian's father, an anti-war activist who has been campaigning to drop the extradition charge and see his son freed. Together with Julian Assange and Wikileaks, activist and "poetician" Birgitta Jonsdottir turned the world on its head by releasing the "Collateral Murder" video, which featured the slaying of two Reuters journalists by American forces in Baghdad, Iraq. Jonsdottir may have ended her association with Wikileaks but her commitment to art, activism and politics is still as strong as ever, and I met her in Reykjavik to talk to her about her life and work, as well as the importance of the Internet archives for journalists as a tool to hold the powerful to account.

[INTRO: 10:49] In this episode, I speak with Birgitta Jónsdóttir — former Icelandic politician, anarchist, poet, and activist. Birgitta is the co-founder of the Pirate Party of Iceland (in which she served as a representative of from 2013 to 2017), and is well known for her collaboration with Wikileaks in the production and release of the “Collateral Murder” video, as a result of the courageous leak by whistleblower and former U.S Army private Chelsea Manning. I ask Brigitta to describe the role she has played in some of the most historic and impactful political moments this past decade — including the founding of the Pirate Party and her time as a member of the Icelandic Parliament from 2013-2017; her collaboration with Wikileaks and its controversial co-founder and editor Julian Assange, leading to the release of the Collateral Murder video in 2010 (which depicts the murder of several citizens and journalists during the U.S. military occupation of Iraq in 2007); and her involvement in the high-profile legal case “Hedges vs Obama” in the United States (which challenged the legitimacy of the National Defense Authorization Act authorized by former U.S. president Barack Obama) during her term in Parliament. Brigitta’s activism has challenged the legitimacy of the rising global surveillance state and its corporate counterpart “surveillance capitalism,” has contributed to the unveiling of the true face of the so-called War on Terror around the globe, and has continuously defended the rights of whistleblowers (like Chelsea Manning, Edward Snowden, Reality Winner, and more) within the context of upholding the freedom of press and human rights. On this episode, we discuss the recent news of Julian Assange being arrested in the UK. We talk about the history of wiki-leaks and the current charges against him, and also discuss why the US is trying so hard to get him extradited. Also we discuss why whistle-blowers are so important in politics. Remember to like, subscribe, share, and let's conversate NOT constant hate! #DEADCENTER
Do you remember why Assange was forced to go into hiding? You'd be forgiven for forgetting about the sexual assault charges laid against him in Sweden.Obviously Wikileaks exposure of war crimes with the Collateral Murder videos is important and as is fact the US has charged him with conspiring to hack a government computer, but sexual assault charges are important too.Especially considering how often they are minimised and women's trauma is ignored.Assange's arrest last week was for skipping bail on sexual assault charges. There's much speculation around this case. Were the charges dropped? Was it the victims that dropped the charges? What about the statue of limitations and what the fuck is that any way.To answer these questions Subversion #1312 spoke to academic, researcher, and anarchist Jasmina Branković.It's also pertinent to keep up-to-date with police brutality and misconduct so tune in the Bad Cop No Donut.
Programledare & producent: Cecilia DjurbergMusik: Jens Peterson Berger See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

Assange is an award-winning journalist and the founder and editor-in-chief of WikiLeaks. He is also a programmer, cryptographer, author and activist. Founded in 2006, WikiLeaks has published millions of leaked documents and several videos. This includes logs that relate to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the controversial “Collateral Murder” video from Iraq, U.S. diplomatic cables, and election campaign related e-mails from the Democratic National Committee and from Hillary Clinton's campaign manager, John Podesta. Jonathan Heawood is the CEO and founder of IMPRESS, the only press regulator to be recognised as independent and effective under the Royal Charter in the United Kingdom. Of Manning, she adds: ÒI think he has paid enough penalty already. HeÕs been in prison for 1,000 days. I havenÕt seen any casualties for what he did. The people that É are responsible for the war crimes É in the ÔCollateral MurderÕ Ñ none of them have been held accountable, for example.Ó

On Christmas Day 2012, Tell Somebody revisited the Nativity and then wondered what it would have been like if border patrol agents had been on the scene during the flight into Egypt. It has been a while since the Collateral Murder video was released by Wikileaks, but with the Bradley Manning case proceeding, maybe it's worthy of a little more attention. Tell Somebody contemplates the events in that video in relationship to the biblical story of the Good Samaritan. Birgitta Jónsdóttir (born 17 April 1967) is a member of parliament of Althing, the Icelandic parliament, formerly representing the Citizens' Movement, but now representing The Movement.[1][2] Her district is the Reykjavík South Constituency.[1] She was elected to the Icelandic parliament in April 2009 on behalf of a movement aiming for democratic reform beyond party politics of left and right. Birgitta has been an activist and a spokesperson for various groups, such as Wikileaks,[3] Saving Iceland and Friends of Tibet in Iceland. She acts as a spokeswoman for the Icelandic Modern Media Initiative. Birgitta was an active volunteer for Wikileaks and had an important role in the making of the Collateral Murder video, including co-production.[4] She is also part of the movement to make Iceland a haven for press freedom and is the chief sponsor of the Icelandic Modern Media Initiative.[5][6][7][8] On 18 June 2010 she told ABC News' Brian Ross that Wikileaks will be releasing a leaked video of a US airstrike in Afghanistan "hopefully very soon".[9] On 7 January 2011, Birgitta announced on her Twitter page that she had been notified by Twitter that it had been served by the United States Department of Justice with a subpoena demanding information "about all my tweets and more since November 1st 2009."[10] According to Glenn Greenwald of Salon.com: The information demanded by the DOJ is sweeping in scope. It includes all mailing addresses and billing information known for the user, all connection records and session times, all IP addresses used to access Twitter, all known email accounts, as well as the "means and source of payment," including banking records and credit cards. It seeks all of that information for the period beginning November 1, 2009, through the present.[10] On 14 April 2011 Wired Magazine online published an article "WikiLeaks Associates Hit Back Over U.S. Twitter Records Demand" describing a "contentious legal battle with the Justice Department" with the three Wikileaks volunteers, charging in a court filing that the governments argument trivializes both the Parties and the publics constitutional rights.[11] ** Member of the Parliamentary Review Committee on the SIC report since 2009. Member of the Committee on the Environment since 2009. Member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs since 2009. Member of the Icelandic delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly since 2009.
