After a few rough sets in Lousiana, Mark Normand headed to New York City and made the magic happen! From Conan to Jimmy Fallon and a special with 4.5 million views, Mark has blown up the last few years. We talk about performing in front of huge theater crowds, getting compliments from Seinfeld (Mark, not me) oue earliest jokes and doing live shows during the pandemic.Pat House is a nationally-touring comedian based out of Philadelphia. A regular performer in comedy clubs, casinos, and theaters all over the country, Pat has been a choice opener for Sebastian Maniscalco, Tom Segura, and Dan Cummins. He recorded his first album Biggest Thing in 2013, and his latest album Heard Enough Yesterday, hit #1 on the iTunes comedy charts. Both can be heard on iTunes, Amazon and Pandora.Mark Normand is a fun-loving, New York comedian. Ok, I’m gonna brag a little here but hey, you’re on the site so that must mean you’re somewhat interested. I don’t know, I’ve just seen other comics do this. Ah screw you, I’m proud of these credits! Sorry, I got worked up there. (I just wanna be liked)So far, Mark has done a One-Hour Comedy Central special “Don’t Be Yourself”, a Comedy Central HALF HOUR special, has appeared on TBS’s CONAN 6 times, Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Showtime’s “Live at SXSW”, INSIDE AMY SCHUMER, TruTv, Best Week Ever, MTv, Last Comic Standing, @Midnight and released an album with Comedy Central records titled “Still Got It” (it’s not bad). This year, Mark took first place at the Great American Comedy Festival competition. In 2013 won Caroline’s March Madness competition, beating out 63 other comedians. And this is a real shocker for all of us, but he was also voted Village Voice’s “Best Comedian of 2013”, I know, right? In 2012, Mark appeared on “John Oliver’s New York Standup Show” on Comedy Central, and in 2011 was picked as one of Comedy Central’s “Comics to Watch.”Mark was born and raised in New Orleans, LA surprisingly to two normal parents. As a kid he spent most of his time shooting short films and wetting the bed. He started doing comedy right after college and quickly moved to New York. Mark now does comedy clubs and colleges across the country and has been involved in many festivals including Portland, Seattle, DC, Boston, Vancouver, Melbourne and in 2013 was featured as a New Face at the Montreal Comedy Festival.More annoying accolades that no one really cares about: Mark was named one of Comedy Central’s Comics To Watch for the 2011 New York Comedy Festival. Mark was also named Esquire’s “Best New Comedians 2012”, Splitsider’s “Top 10 Up and Coming Comedians on Each Coast”, and Time Out New York’s “21 New York Comedy Scene Linchpins”. Whew, sorry about all that.
Veteran comedian, Richard Reese – has been dishing out the laughs with the best of them for years. He’s accumulated much experience over that time — including being voted “Most Entertaining” at The MGM Grand in Las Vegas, and winning the Great American Comedy Festival in 2008. Followed by those escapades were the release of two comedy specials entitled “Smoke, Jokes & Lasers (2013)” and “Always Laugh Forever Before You Die Yesterday (2015).” In 2016 his album “Jetpack Tuxedo” arrived on digital platforms to pleasing reviews. As a tenacious agent of humor, Richard brings an original and unpredictable approach to his show. Creatively witty and intelligently silly, this comedian/filmmaker continues to delight audiences near and far.Richard Reese Social Mediahttps://www.youtube.com/cosmicpretzel9https://twitter.com/richardtweesehttps://www.facebook.com/richard.reese.906https://instagram.com/richardtweese/Support The EveryNothing Podcast channel: On our website: https://www.everynothingpodcast.com/Email: everynothingpodcast@gmail.comTwitter: https://twitter.com/every_nothinpod Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/everynothingpodcast Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/everynothingpodcast Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/everynothingpodcast

Pat is quickly rising as one of the sharpest stand-ups in the comedy world. His appeal stems from his quick wit & relatable take on family life & marriage. In 2017, Pat began touring as the opening act for comedic superstar Sebastian Maniscalco, moving with him from clubs, to theater, and to arenas - including 4 sold out shows at Madison Square Garden. Pat is a relative latecomer to the comedy scene. He began stand-up at the age of 31 after realizing he was not very good at selling packaging. He hustled his way to become the house emcee at Zanies Comedy Club in Chicago, where he distinguished himself as especially adept at working the crowd. His short, but impressive resume, includes performances on The Late Show with David Letterman, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Gotham Comedy Live (AXS-TV), Montreal’s famed Just For Laughs Festival, Gilda’s LaughFest, The Great American Comedy Festival and the Nashville Comedy Fest.

ACB Radio was once again proud to broadcast live National Braille Press' “A Million Laughs for Literacy Gala” Thursday beginning at 6:30 PM Eastern, from the Museum of Science Blue Wing in Boston, MA where the full-size Tyrannosaurus rex model oversaw the festivities. For more than 15 years, the A Million Laughs for Literacy Gala has raised millions to support National Braille Press' Braille Literacy Programs which exist to ensure blind and visually impaired children are given an equal chance to read. Thursday's Gala features comedian Pat McGann. Pat is a stand-up comedian and television host from Chicago. In 2015, he made his second appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman. Eddie Brill, the long-time booker for The Late Show with David Letterman, had me over to his East Village apartment, where I was wowed not only by the plethora of photographs of him with everybody from Barack Obama to Paul McCartney but also by his captivating, on-going commentary on such a wide variety of topics. Aspiring and established comics alike should take note of this particular episode, as Brill shares what he looked for as he booked Letterman and still searches for as he books the Great American Comedy Festival in Johnny Carson’s hometown. Eddie provides us with food for thought as he shares his thoughts on food. We discuss whether comedy is a meritocracy - after we define that word. And this podcast episode itself closes the loop (after a near-record number of tangents). How so? Well, Eddie and I met as I took one of his renowned (and global) comedy workshops. And here I got to tell him about the comedy workshops we did this year in India as part of our US State Department-sponsored tour. Brill-iant. Enjoy.
During the Limestone Comedy Festival, Aaron talks with Emma Arnold (Doug Loves Movies, Great American Comedy Festival), Emma is a mother of 3, one of them a special needs child, with an additional 3 step-kids...yep, six kids. We talk how she turned from author & mommy blogger to stand up comedian, finding comedy about her special needs son. That’s part one.. for PART TWO, we delve deeper to find out what made her comedian. Emma is a survivor of childhood sexual abuse. A lot of comedians go thru darkness in their childhood, we talk about how that affected her growing up and as a mother and comedian; also a rare occasion where I get to open up about experiencing abuse growing up. We encourage anyone suffering from abuse past or present, to talk to someone. Part of Emma’s tour merch sales go toward www.SpeakYourSilence.org - lots of resources available there. Christian Lee was born when his father was finishing seminary in Atlanta, GA. Having a preacher for a father wasn’t always easy, and trying to follow in his footsteps proved quite tricky. Leaving Bible College unsure of his path, Christian spent years in the 'real world' making sure everyone around him had access to what they needed... namely the Internet. He broke down the doors of corporate America at age 19 with EDS, moving up quickly with firms like IBM, even the U.S. Army. The web design field was a gateway into how people thought, where they liked to spend their time, and what they thought was funny. "I had what could only be called a revelation. What I felt needed to be heard from the stage, especially at churches, wasn’t being said. I started writing down all the jokes and stories that had been building inside. Then, I went in search of a mic stand and a crowd. After years of toil, comes the fruit of your labor. I'm fulfilling my dream and I'm not looking back!" Christian performs across the country. He just returned from a stint in CA where he taped a show at the world famous Ice House in Pasadena. You may have seen him on Comedy Time or MAV TV. Christian was recently invited to perform at The Great American Comedy Festival, Port City’s Top Comic, and The Plymouth Rock Comedy Festival. Christian Lee Live Chris Martin Comedy
