Su trilogía Empires of Dust —The Court of Broken Knives (La corte de los cuchillos rotos), The Tower of Living and Dying (La torre de los vivos y los muertos) y The House of Sacrifice (La casa del sacrificio)— no destaca únicamente por lo que cuenta, sino por la manera en que lo hace: una escritura lírica, insistente, que no se acomoda al ritmo de lectura habitual y que obliga a detenerse más de lo que el lector está acostumbrado. En este especial de La Torre del Cuervo nos adentramos en su obra a través de una entrevista en profundidad y de la adaptación sonora de su relato Stones, explorando no solo su forma de escribir, sino también el contexto en el que ha tenido que abrirse paso: un panorama editorial donde muchos autores permanecen fuera del circuito en castellano, no por falta de calidad, sino por decisiones que condicionan qué textos llegan realmente al lector.
