"Ahora eres uno de los nuestros, muchacho." En 1997, cuando la Black Library apenas daba sus primeros pasos, apareció un cuento extraño. Ligero, descarado, aventurero. Se titulaba Los Merodeadores de Grunsonn, y lo firmaba Andy Jones, uno de los arquitectos iniciales del trasfondo de Games Workshop. No era grimdark. Ni trágico. Ni apocalíptico. Era otra cosa. Un enano gruñón, un elfo con aires de nobleza (cómo no), un joven imperial llamado Johann Anstein y un bárbaro de nombre gloriosamente ridículo: Keanu el Saqueador. Sí. Keanu. En serio. Cuatro aventureros embarcados en una misión por encargo de un viejo mago bonachón. Una reliquia perdida. Un viaje. Y lo que empieza como una historia sencilla, se convierte en una pequeña joya cargada de humor, referencias y ternura pulp.
