I never thought I would hear birth compared to fighting… but honestly, it might be one of my favorite analogies ever.In this episode, I'm joined by Madie — a professional fighter, dog trainer, and mom — who shares how she approached pregnancy and birth with the same mindset she brings to fight camp: strategy, mental strength, and trust in her mind and body.We talk about what it's like to navigate pregnancy when you can't workout, how she chose the right midwife, and how she learned to make intuitive decisions in labor — including whether or not to get the epidural, and how to trust her body's need for movement. I absolutely loved this conversation and the way Madie reframes birth as something you can actually train for, mentally and emotionally, not just physically. Here are some highlights from the episode: • How Madie went from professional fighter to first-time (& second-time) mom...who still fights btw! • What it was like mentally to not be able to fight or workout during pregnancy • How she chose her midwife and what to do if you're second-guessing your provider • The truth about pregnancy weight gain and why it wasn't actually a problem • Why she calls birth a “nine-month fight camp” • How she used visualization, meditation, movement, and My Essential Birth to prepare• Why she actually wanted cervical checks • How intuitive position changes helped her baby move into a better position • How My Essential Birth supported her through pregnancy and labor • Her best advice for moms (and dads… especially dads

Chuck Liddell is a legendary figure in the world of mixed martial arts, recognized as one of the pioneers who brought MMA into the mainstream. Known as "The Iceman" for his unshakeable presence in the ring, Chuck's journey to greatness began far from the bright lights of professional fighting. He is the face of UFC, and superstar of Mixed Martial Arts–the fastest growing sport in America. In 1998, he won his first Mixed Martial Arts fight, soon after joining the UFC to become the #1 ranked light-heavyweight contender in the world. He is a walking lethal weapon. Today, Chuck Liddell shares how his love for martial arts, the camaraderie of fight camp, and unresolved health issues fueled his return. Is sparring in fight camp a smart move or a dangerous gamble? As fight night gets closer, every decision you make in training counts, and few choices are as critical—or risky—as sparring in fight camp. On one hand, it's an opportunity to refine your timing, reactions, and technique under pressure. But on the other, there's always the looming risk of an injury that could throw off months of hard work. In this episode, we'll explore whether sparring in the final stretch of your fight camp is worth it, or if it's time to shift gears to safer, more controlled forms of training. You don't want to enter the ring compromised. Let's look at the best way to prepare without taking unnecessary risks. In this special episode, I had the incredible opportunity to spend three action-packed days with the pound-for-pound champion of the world, Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez, at his fight camp in Truckee, California. Thanks to a personal invite from Jaime Camil, we got to experience Canelo's intense training firsthand—running, hitting the gym, sparring, and watching him meticulously prepare for his next fight. I even tried to keep up during the long runs (spoiler: it wasn't easy!). On the final day, I sat down with Canelo for an exclusive interview where we talked about his training camp, the people who motivate him, his love for family and food, and how he stays laser-focused on every detail. Despite being a legend, Canelo opened up about why he still feels he doesn't always get the respect he deserves compared to other fighters. Don't miss this casual, cool interview as we recap the incredible time spent with the old-school, badass champion of our era. Fight training without a fight? It may seem counterintuitive, but you CAN capture the performance benefits of a fight camp without ever stepping foot in the ring. The secret lies in periodisation - strategically planning your training into blocks that progressively build strength, power, speed, and Muay Thai specific skills. This optimised structure allows you to simulate a fight camp and its gains without the fight itself. In this video, 51-year-old ex-pro fighter and Muay Thai performance specialist Don Heatrick breaks down the major benefits of using a periodised approach in your training whether you compete or not. Avoid plateaus, prevent injuries, ensure sustainable progress, and align training to your unique goals - periodisation helps any Muay Thai athlete make consistent gains for health, fitness and self-defence. Don draws from decades of experience showing how planned, progressive training variations beat out stale, repetitive routines. Break out of your rut and design a periodised plan tailored to your needs. You'll unlock better performance, faster recovery, and increased motivation. Think periodisation is just for competitors? Think again. Use these proven techniques to transform your own training. It's time to start stealing those coveted fight camp results - no actual fights required. Feeling defeated, Denisha just wanted to return to the U.S. to be with her family. For the next several weeks, she kept to herself. And on the night of her death, Denisha video chatted with her husband and kids and nothing seemed amiss. Hours later, Denisha was hanging from her wall locker.
