Pavlyuchenkova defeated the Brit Sonay Kartal, but the talking point of the match was the electronic line calling not working for 3 points during a big game in the 1st set. Siegemund, Sabalenka and Anisimova all progressed, as did Fritz and Khachanov on the men's side. ❤️ SUBSCRIBE TO GTL: https://bit.ly/35JyOhz ▶️ JOIN YOUTUBE MEMBERSHIP: https://bit.ly/3Fk9rSr

Catherine, David and Matt react to the events of Day 5 at Wimbledon, moments after Aryna Sabalenka wrapped up victory over Emma Raducanu. We also look at the defeat of Madison Keys by Laura Siegemund and ask if that's something we should have seen coming, analyse the losses for Naomi Osaka and Elina Svitolina, and discuss big wins for Sonay Kartal and Amanda Anisimova. In part 2 (49m48s) we look at all the men's results including Alcaraz's four set victory against Struff, Fritz's continued progress through the draw, and Rublev's improved form as he beat Adrian Mannarino. There was even more Matt-coded content as Jarry beat Fonseca and Ben Shelton added to history with a 70 second serve-dominated winning game on the resumption of his match. In this mega pod, we are joined by special guest @HawkiingLines (Luke Philpott). We start off the pod with a comprehensive recap of the grass court tune ups. Some of the topics we discuss are Diallo's upside, Bublik's power ranking, Medvedev's preferred surface, expectations for Musetti at Wimbledon, the decline of Rublev and Tsitsipas, and power rankings of various tiers on the ATP Tour. We then do a full breakdown of the 2025 Wimbledon men's draw, going thru quarter by quarter and discussing the lines on the futures markets. Next, we do a fun fantasy draft in which the three of us picked fantasy teams of 6 players each (in snake draft format); the topic of the fantasy contest is: most break points saved. The last hour of the podcast focuses on previewing the 1st round matches and discussing some lines to attack. Kudos to Luke for getting a ton of CLV already.
The way we enter into the divine life – and the way we experience the joy and the sense of purpose that come from God – is by fixing our gaze on Jesus, who reveals to us the Father. Real life consists not in fixating on ourselves, but in forgetting ourselves, in letting go and losing ourselves in service to God and one another.
Hey everyone, Faizan here! Here is my preview and prediction for the match between Jannik Sinner and Andrey Rublev at the 2025 French Open! This should be a great match for Round 4 at Roland Garros! This is an opinion only video!
"A expectativa é a maior possível. "A gente coloca muita fé nele porque ele sempre surpreende a gente", diz a tia, Paula Fonseca.

Hey everyone, Faizan here! Here is my preview and prediction for the match between Arthur Fils vs Andrey Rublev at the 2025 French Open! This should be a great match for Round 3 at Roland Garros! This is an opinion only video!
South Africa's Lloyd Harris comes up against World number 15, Andre Rublev. This is a golden opportunity for the former world No. 31, and a strong run in Paris over the coming days could potentially help revive his career. However, that seems unlikely at the moment, as he hasn't won a main-draw match at a tour-level event since Wimbledon last year and hasn't defeated a top-20 player since the Australian Open in 2023. Sakina Kamwendo spoke to SABC Sports News Anchor, Jon Gericke
In this episode, I'm joined by rising Argentine star Francisco Comesaña, currently sitting inside the ATP top 70. Francisco shares the grind of coming up through Futures with no funding, how a mindset shift helped him break through, and what it was like beating top names like Rublev and Zverev. We also talk about his first Slam experience at Wimbledon, what it's like playing on grass for the first time, and why belief, fueled by hard work has been the key to his rise.✅ 5 Takeaway Points 1. Breaking through in Argentina is tough without sponsors or early exposure. 2. Belief and mindset are often more important than talent. 3. Playing Futures is a grind that can break many players mentally. 4. Big wins against players like Rublev and Zverev gave him confidence he belongs. 5. Long-term goals include becoming a better person first, and reaching the top 30.
We react to the men's draw for the Mutua Madrid Masters 2025. Sabalenka wins Miami as the Sunshine Swing ends with a downpour for Novak Djokovic as he lost out to 19 year old Jakob Mensik in straight sets. The title was Sabalenka's first since that heartbreaking loss in the final of the Australian Open to Madison Keys and with it she cements her place a the top of the world rankings by opening up a 3000 point lead over No.2 Iga Swiatek. Swiatek went out to WC Alexandra Eala in another early shock loss for the former World No.1 and Joel, Kim and Chris question is it time for her to switch up her coach after not winning a title since Roland Garros last year?Elsewhere Djokovic declared his Miami form to be the best he had played since the Olympics where he won the gold medal, it wasn't enough for him to win the title in Miami but it did prove that the Murray partnership is on an upward trajectory. There is a 2010s themed mailbag that puts Kim and Chris to the test and Joel talks his anguish when Tim Henman used to face off against Andy Murray in a ‘favourite vs favourite' mailbag! They also preview the return to clay as Charleston gets under way and a number of 250s on the ATP Tour before the Monte Carlo Masters begins the clay court season proper next week.Roland-Garros Hospitality with Sports, Travel and Hospitality GroupTo guarantee the best seats in the house with ticket-inclusive official hospitality, visit https://bit.ly/4j6RYBzSOCIALSFollow us on Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, plus email the show tennisweeklypod@gmail.com.MERCHPurchase Tennis Weekly Merch through our Etsy store including limited edition designs by Krippa Design where all proceeds go towards the podcast so we can keep doing what we do!REVIEWS***Please take a moment to rate and review the show on Apple Podcasts, Spotify or wherever you get your pods.
