Vandalism at draft board offices as U.S. involvement in Vietnam was escalating was deeply divisive. Opponents of the war were stereotyped as dirty hippies and sanctimonious white college kids, but the anti-Vietnam-war movement in the U.S. was really broad. Ravi sits down with Molly Roden Winter, author of More: A Memoir of Open Marriage, for a candid conversation about the emotional, messy, and deeply human side of nontraditional relationships. In More, Molly shares her journey through polyamory, jealousy, and personal growth, and what it really means to forge your own path in love. Molly and Ravi explore how Molly's unconventional relationship structure evolved over time and how societal double standards have shaped our views on monogamy, control, and gender roles. Molly opens up about the intense reactions her story has provoked and why she believes it's critical to define relationships on one's own terms. Finally, Molly and Ravi discuss what it means to challenge societal norms without prescribing answers. JD and Ben Ennis, co-host of The FAN Morning Show, break down a disappointing Opening Day for the Toronto Blue Jays (0:00). They discuss their experience attending the game, the importance of avoiding a slow start, how Alan Roden factors into the Blue Jays' path to success, and what George Springer can contribute in year four with Toronto. Then, they debate how much Vladimir Guerrero Jr.'s performance in 2025 will influence the fanbase's eagerness to re-sign the star slugger. Afterwards, Blue Jays broadcaster Buck Martinez joins JD (50:15) to share his perspective on fan pressure, Andrés Giménez and Roden flashing some offence in their Blue Jays debuts, and why he's confident in Alejandro Kirk taking on a heavier load behind the plate. Later, JD turns his attention to the Toronto Maple Leafs and Joseph Woll's worrisome start in San Jose, before closing out the show with What We Missed (1:13:30). The 2025 MLB season is nearly upon us, and the Blue Jays have a fighting chance in an ultra-tight American League in which every team still has the same record. But merely meeting their projections won't be good enough, and succeeding will rely on some good stories from a group of position player prospects older than Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and health from a starting rotation with an average age of 34. This week we talk about what it will take for the Jays to have a successful season and how an unsuccessful one might play out, why the team chose Roden over Barger and parted ways with Ryan Yarbrough, the reasons to really like Alejandro Kirk's contract—plus predictions for the season and more! Pam Jahnke catches up with West Bend area dairy farmer Rick Roden, to discuss some of his recent travels to food shows representing Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin. Rick Roden is one of the dairy farmers that make up the board of directors for Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin. On his family operation in Washington County, communication is key. Roden's found out that the messages that Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin creates and uses to promote the state's dairy products are effective, and well received. Roden visits with Pam Jahnke about his fundamental motivation to be on the board - and that was to find out how his checkoff dollars were being invested. He says he's very impressed with all the programs and partnerships that DFW has forged, and the worldwide reputation Wisconsin has for its dairy products, especially cheese. Constant promotion and education is the foundation to why Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin works. Roden says the rule he remembers is the 90/90 rule. 90% of the milk produced in Wisconsin goes into cheese, and 90% of that cheese is sold outside of Wisconsin. He says regardless of policy, keeping those conversations going is critical for the success of Wisconsin dairy. Today, the state produces 3.5 billion pounds of cheese. Roden believes the brand building and partnerships that his checkoff dollars have been invested in, keep Wisconsin at the forefront of sales. Did you know last year our dairy checkoff got Wisconsin Cheese promotions in over 8000 stores across the country and sales of Wisconsin cheese are outpacing the entire specialty cheese industry? That's something Roden is proud of, and happy to share with other dairy producers, and non-farm consumers as well. If dairy farmers want to learn more about checkoff efforts, check out www.wisconsindairy.org, or reach out to your local Board of DirectorSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Molly Roden Winter published a New York Times Best Seller last year. More: A Memoir of Open Marriage shares Molly's introduction to what would become full-blown polyamory! Years removed from writing the book, Molly Roden Winter now enjoys her marriage AND her two boyfriends in Brooklyn. We talked about adjusting to a polyamorous identity, when enough is enough, and where her eyes should go during a threesome. I think she's overthinking it. In late 1931, several Native trappers in Aklavik, Northwest Territories, reported to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) that a newly arrived white man, Albert Johnson, had been tampering with their traps. The RCMP dispatched two officers to Johnson's remote cabin, but he refused to speak with them, so they left to get a warrant to search his home. When the officers returned and tried to gain entry, Johnson fired a shotgun blast through the cabin door, wounding one of the RCMP officers. The incident quickly escalated when a posse of RCMP officers returned and tossed dynamite into the cabin, initiating a firefight in which one officer was killed, and a manhunt that would last more than month and unfold across more than 150 miles of some of the roughest terrain in the world. In the end, Albert Johnson would not be taken alive. And while his death may have ended the wild pursuit across the Yukon territory, it was just the beginning of another mystery that would endure into the twenty-first century.Thank you to the Incredible Dave White of Bring Me the Axe Podcast for research and Writing support!ReferencesCanadian Press. 1932.
