Jatavion Sanders is poised to compete for the Mackey Award, given to the best tight end in the country every year and an experienced offensive line led by Kelvin Banks should be better this season. On defense, veterans like Ryan Watts, Jerrin Thompson, Jaylan Ford, and T'vondre Sweat will look to build on one of the best Texas defenses in recent memory, while also mentoring young players like Anthony Hill and Malik Muhammad.
