I have a laundry list of Dems going wild the past few days and it feels like their gameplan is if they say and do enough outrageous things, it just becomes background noise. Sharice Davids is flooding the airwaves with ads that are completely fraudulent and can't possibly be true. The KC Star has a shocking story warning Dems about the ills of mail in voting. What? The Royals season is on the line beginning Tuesday night with 6 games to go. Analysts are bashing Travis Kelce for being out of shape and unfocused. And KU coach Lance Leipold is pleading with his fan base to hang in with them after a 1-3 start.

The one big lie has been played by Joe Biden and he's going to do it all the way to November. Trump needs to put an end to it with a powerful :30 second statement during the debate Thursday. We have the game plan. Missouri AG Andrew Bailey wins in court again with a ruling to stop Biden from forgiving student loans. Congresswoman Sharice Davids is targeted on X by a poster with over 3 million followers. What Davids did should be the entire focus of this year's campaign. KC Current fans are getting their cars stolen when they park a couple blocks away to save money. The Royals rebound impressively behind Cole Ragans. The Panthers win the Stanley Cup. A Kansas kid is the Most Outstanding Player in the College World Series and a golfer who's never played in anything before pulls off the shocker of the year.

It must be close to the elections as Dems everywhere are sounding moderate. Sharice Davids has a beef with the Biden college bailout but you'd better believe if it were a bill in congress, she'd vote for it. They're such frauds. The Air Force Academy has a huge problem as applications for enrollment are down 46% in Biden's America. The Chiefs beat the Packers but all anyone is talking about is the tribute to Len Dawson when the Chiefs lined up in a "choir huddle." I've got the back story on how it happened and the person who has one of the great souvenirs of all time. Sports wagering is legal September 1 in Kansas and it may all sound a little confusing to you. Twenty years ago, when I first came to America, I felt like a complete outsider. I didn't look like, sound like, or dress like people around me. I chased goals that I didn't really care about because I thought that's what was expected of me. But the harder I tried to fit in, the more I struggled personally and professionally. You see, I was defining success from other people's perspective. Our guest today is US Congresswoman Sharice Davids, from Kansas' Third Congressional District, who shares her inspiring story of overcoming obstacles and rising to the top by defining success on her own terms. Sharice was raised by a single mom who spent more than 20 years serving in the US Army. A proud graduate of Leavenworth High School, Sharice was the first person in her family to attend college. She worked her way from Johnson County Community College to Cornell Law School, juggling multiple jobs to put herself through school. Sharice went on to work in economic and community development on Native American reservations, helping tribes to create programs and initiatives for growth. This work inspired her to apply for the prestigious White House Fellowship program, where she served under President Barack Obama and continued to create economic opportunity for others. Sharice ran for Congress to give Kansans a voice, and to make sure everyone has the same opportunities to achieve their goals that she did. In 2018, Sharice was elected to represent Kansas' Third District, becoming one of the first two Native American women ever to serve in Congress. In 2020, she was re-elected to her second term. She has spent her time in office working tirelessly to tackle the issues most important to Kansas families, including strengthening small businesses, lowering the cost of healthcare and prescription drugs, and making sure the government is working for the people — not special interests. In this episode, Rep. Davids shares her perspective on why it's important to first embrace who you are for others to embrace and accept you as you are. She also shares why service matters, how to build a thriving community, and what strategies helped her achieve her goals. Sharice Davids "Running a campaign is a very entrepreneurial process." - Rep. Sharice Davids "One thing that changed my life was realizing that I get to decide what success means to me." - Rep. Sharice Davids About Sharice Davids: Sharice Davids is currently serving Kansas' Third Congressional District in Congress. Sharice ran for Congress to give Kansans a voice who represents our values and interests, and to make sure everyone has the same opportunities to achieve their goals that she did. In 2018, Sharice was elected to represent Kansas' Third District, becoming one of the first two Native American women ever to serve in Congress. In 2020, she was re-elected to her second term. She has spent her time in office working tirelessly to tackle the issues most important to Kansas families, including strengthening our small businesses, lowering the cost of healthcare and prescription drugs, and making sure the government is working for the people — not special interests. Sharice was raised by a single mom, who spent more than 20 years in the Army followed by a career in civil service at the US Post Office. Sharice graduated from Leavenworth High School. She attended Haskell Indian Nations University and the University of Kansas before graduating from Johnson County Community College and later the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She went on to earn a law degree from Cornell Law School. Sharice calls herself a “former” first generation college student, since her mom earned a degree in history from UMKC in 2016. Sharice is a member of the Ho-Chunk Nation, a Native American tribe in Wisconsin. Sharice is highly trained in martial arts and has competed as both an amateur and professional in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). Sharice was one of 16 selected to participate in the prestigious White House Fellowship program (2016-2017). Sharice has lived and worked on Native American reservations, working with tribes to create economic development opportunities, programs, and initiatives. Sharice regularly speaks at conferences as a nationally recognized expert on economic and community development in Native communities. Sharice, along with her brother, created Starty Pants – a video podcast that highlights entrepreneurs in the Greater Kansas City area with a focus on women, people of color and LGBTQ founders. The Pro Football Hall of Fame is better than the baseball hall. There, I said it. Everyone in sports media will disagree with that and baseball purists would cut me entirely out of their life for saying it. But I will back it up and prove it. Then we ask, which current Chiefs will make the Hall? I have four locks, three that probably will and a couple that could. Isn't that more fun that some baseball snob telling you Salvador Perez isn't a Hall of Famer? Carli Lloyd was the best player on America's Bronze Medal soccer team but she's also the strongest, bravest and toughest of them all. Isn't that the "girl power" we celebrate in sports? So why are liberals destroying her everywhere? And congresswoman Sharice Davids is finally being called out for being the radical liberal she is. Turns out, she's one of the most radical supporters of critical race theory... will Amanda Adkins attack her in the next election instead of playing patty cake?

In this episode of the Growing Readers Podcast, I talk with Sharice Davids, one of the first Native American women elected to Congress, and the first LGBTQ congressperson to represent Kansas. We discuss her picture book autobiography Sharice's Big Voice: A Native Kid Becomes a Congresswoman. When Sharice Davids was young, she never thought she'd be in Congress. And she never thought she'd be one of the first Native American women in Congress. During her campaign, she heard from a lot of doubters. They said she couldn't win because of how she looked, who she loved, and where she came from. But here's the thing: Everyone's path looks different and everyone's path has obstacles. And this is the remarkable story of Sharice Davids' path to Congress. Order a copy of Sharice's Big Voice: A Native Kid Becomes a Congresswoman via Bookshop.org. 10-15: Social Media and Hunter Biden, Sharice Davids' Media Tour by KCMO Talk Radio
President Trump couldn't lose by calling for a drug test before or right after Tuesday's debate. The media, of course, were going to gobble it up and Biden could never give in and do it. But the seed is planted in what is another brilliant, instinctive political move by the President. And have you seen Sharice David's T-shirt? It's not new but I'd never seen it until a new commercial by challenger Amanda Adkins popped up on my computer. You have to hear this.

I’ve been side eyeing e-courses for a while now. I’m intrigued by them but also a little wary of the promises I hear experts making related less work and immediate income spikes. Sharice Enis cuts through the noise, shares how you can benefit from a course, and specific questions to consider when you’re getting started. I’m sure you’ve heard these things too: “E-courses are passive income.” “Make money while you sleep.” “Build it and they will come.” These all feel like big promises for little work. I’m very aware I’m working on not equating hard work with valuable work, but still -- if e-courses are really the path to cash, how is it possible to make yours stand out? I had Sharice on the show because she approaches course creation differently. On this episode she lays out: When you might be ready for an e-course, The benefits of creating a course to supplement other services and/or products, How to be clear on your differentiators and target market needs, Whether you should consider an open or closed cart launch model, And things to consider when structuring your first course. Contessa chats with Relational Trauma Recovery Expert, Dr. Sharice Bradford. Sharice why we don't believe in our own power and what to do about it. Here's a quote from her article in the Nov/Dec issue of MOD&ALT Health. Subscribe at ModAltHealth.com to read the full article. "Negativity can be pervasive and insidious. That is why it is extremely important to guard our minds as if our lives depended on it, in some cases it does. Many of us do not realize that thoughts are things, and once we put action behind those thoughts, they can and in most cases do become a reality. If we determine from the moment we get out of bed that it is going to be a bad day, then we have pretty much set the course for the day. If we only knew the power of our thoughts, we would understand how much control we had on certain outcomes in our lives. " --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/modalthealth/support
Kanye West’s rambling, pro-Trump speech on SNL late September may have surprised casual observers, but by that point, his fans had heard both his outrageous statements and his frank talk about mental health for months. Charlagmane tha God lamented his canceled TimesTalk with Kanye on Instagram as a missed opportunity, writing, "Normalizing being mentally healthy is a conversation that I really wanted to have with Kanye because he's been so vocal about his own mental health struggles. Unfortunately, I think to have that conversation with him right now would not be productive and a total distraction from the point of the convo which is to eradicate the stigma of mental health especially in the black community." Well, we’re going to have that conversation today and we're joined by Clarkisha Kent, film and pop culture critic- known to some as a "professional hater." The panelists discuss rapper Mac Miller's death, Chris Brown's history of domestic violence, and Jay-Z's openness about lacking the necessary emotional tools for marriage, among other things. To be clear, we are not medical professionals. All Abouts Margaret is all about Lucy McBath. Lucy is the newly elected Representative of Georgia's 6th Congressional district. She is a national spokeswoman for Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, which she joined after her son, Jordan Davis, was shot and killed in what is believed to be a hate crime. Karen is all about Sharice Davids. She's one of the two Native American women elected to Congress in the midterm election and represents Kansas's 3rd district. Clarkisha is all about the Twitter beef between herself and other black critics and Rebel Wilson over Rebel's claim that she is the first plus-sized woman to lead a romantic comedy. Wynter is all about Season 4: The Dream Door of the Syfy channel's horror anthology TV show "Channel Zero." That's My Jam Margaret - Jamie Isaac - Doing Better Karen - Ariana Grande - thank u, next Clarkisha - The New Respects - Something to Believe In Wynter - Tori Amos - Cornflake Girl With Wynter Mitchell-Rohrbaugh, Karen Tongson, Margaret Wappler, and Clarkisha Kent. On this episode of the Early Accountability podcast, we are joined by Dr. Sharice Bradford, a life coach with a background in pastoral care/counseling and healthcare administration. She also edits and contributes to Life Coach Network magazine and maintains a lifestyle blog (https://thissinglesole.org/). Dr. Sharice has a passion for helping people, and coaching provides flexibility in methods and scheduling that traditional counseling often does not. Dr. Sharice shares that the most important thing to keep in mind as you are maneuvering through the different aspects of your life is where you want to end up, and then you will be able to figure out the best route to reach that goal – short-term or long-term. None of us can see the birds-eye view of our route to our goal, so we must give ourselves grace and space when we encounter bumps in the road or unexpected setbacks. The key to staying on course (even when the course is different or more difficult than we expected) is to adjust your strategy and continue to make progress after encountering a hurdle. Beginning – and continuing – with the end in mind will help you weather the storms when they come. You have already survived 100% of your worst days in your life so far, and those experiences have only made you stronger.

Sharice Davids is a member of the Ho-Chunk Nation of Wisconsin. She also is a lawyer, a former used car dealer, an entrepreneur (Hoka! Coffee), Chair of the board of directors for 12 Clans--Ho-Chunk’s Section 17 holding corporation, MMA fighter, and the Deputy Director for the Thunder Valley Community Development Corporation. Phew. Sharice is a great example of how one’s journey can take curved routes. After spending many years abroad as a military child, she went to six different colleges before earning her degree. The remarkable thing about this though, is that each transfer was for a specific purpose such as to learn about computers, learn sign language, or play sports at a collegiate level. It was very focused, and contrary to what I think is often perception when people move around to different colleges. Eventually Sharice earned her degree but it wasn’t long before someone at a coffee shop urged her to go to law school. Sharice attended PLSI in New Mexico prior to law school. While at PLSI, a mentor urged her to apply to Cornell Law School. Sharice doubted whether Cornell was the right school, at the time she had applied only to one. But she was admitted and ultimately went to New York. After law school, she landed in Kansas City at the law firm now known as Dentons. She learned a lot about the law while at the firm from Steven McSloy. But Sharice also credits McSloy with showing her how to use and maneuver within spaces of power and that she could question people, institutions and even the law. Moreover that she did not have to accept it as it was. She cites this as the most valuable professional lesson she has learned. It is incredibly powerful to learn that you do not have to accept things in the world just because. I think this is a fundamental aspect of being a NextGen Native-that you have the ability to alter the course of your own life, of your career, of your community. Things are not set in stone. Today, Sharice is the Deputy Director of Thunder Valley CDC. The organization is based on the Pine Ridge Reservation. I am not sure how many other CDC’s exist in Indian Country (let me know in the comments!), but it seems to have great potential. One of Thunder Valley’s current projects is to build a housing community on fee simple land on the reservation that is not HUD housing. Thunder Valley also has a number of programs it operates such as language, workforce development, food sovereignty, and home ownership for residents on the reservation. The day after this post is published is the 2015 Giving Tuesday. Thunder Valley is participating in its first Giving Tuesday. If you are looking for a non-profit to support, consider supporting Thunder Valley and other Native non-profits! This podcast could have been much longer, we didn’t even talk about Sharice’s MMA career! To hear everything we did discuss, including her work as a board member, listen to the full episode. I definitely look forward to having her back on the podcast.
Some people sing; some people are born to sing. R&B artist Sharice Styles falls into the latter category. With music and church as the two constants in her life, Sharice was moved by the spirit of song at an early age. You can hear it now in the music that this versatile singer, songwriter and performer creates. It's all there in her new single, “Pull The Plug,”(RedSha Entertainment) co-written with songwriter Shirazi and produced by the multi-talented 7 Aurelius. Standing 6 feet tall, and the picture of grace, style and finesse, Sharice has the looks of a fashion model and the voice of an angel. Her music is about passion and empowerment, mixing the traditional sounds of soul with contemporary flavors. Her goal: to reach audiences, touch their hearts and make a difference in their lives — just as her talent and faith lead her to make a difference both on and off the stage. Sharice was born and raised in Yonkers, New York. Her father, Carl Davis, was a member of the Grammy Award-winning Dixie Hummingbirds, and she clearly inherited his talent, along with a desire to perform. “When I was 18 or 19, my parents moved and I helped them clean out their house,” she recalls. “You know those handprints you make when you're in preschool, the ones with all the glitter on them? I found mine, and I had written, ‘I am a star.' I was 4 years old, and I meant it!” By age 12, Sharice's talent was so obvious that she was enrolled in a school for gifted students in fine arts. She discovered the poetry of Maya Angelou, which she read aloud on the school radio station every morning. She also began writing and reading her own poetry. Encouraged by her teacher, she explored creative writing, and soon her poems became lyrics, which in turn became songs. With determination and drive, Sharice made connections in the music industry. She found a manager and began doing session work with Jam Master Jay and DMX, as well as having her songs recorded by major-label artists.
