In 2024, Harvard University offered a course on Taylor Swift. It was popular, to say the least. That course was taught by a professor and literary critic named Stephanie Burt. In The New Yorker, Burt has written seriously about comics and science fiction, but she's also considered great poets such as Seamus Heaney and Mary Oliver. Now, Burt has put together an anthology titled, “Super Gay Poems.” It's a collection of L.G.B.T.Q. poetry, whose contents begin after the Stonewall uprising, in 1969. When describing the collection, Burt tells the New Yorker Radio Hour producer Jeffrey Masters, “ There are poems where we read it and we say, Wow, that's me. And there are poems where we read it and we say, Wow, I didn't know that can happen; that's not me; that's new to me; that's different. And there are poems where we read them and we just say, That's beautiful. That is elegant. That is funny. That is sexy. That is hot. That is so sad that I don't know why I like it, but I do. And I like making those experiences available to readers.”

Another Pixar movie was changed to be "less gay" by the powers that be at Disney. Elio was reportedly an obviously gay kid who made himself a pink tanktop and had a "trash-ion show" on the beach. The original director "got gone" and they spent a TON of money to effectively REMAKE a good portion of the movie. The Hollywood Reporter confirmed the budget was FAR north of $200 million. What is a Cleetus? It's a mascot to a diverse and group from New York, Boston, and beyond who at least once a year escape to a remote location and camp or glamp together and throw fabulous theme parties. A Cleetus is a set of googly eyes you can wear around your fingers. It's a thing that brings ridiculousness, joy, community, love, and bonding for those who wear it, share it, and blare it! The White Cleetus was our theme party where everyone dressed in "high-end gay" resort wear in tribute to the fabuluos HBO series and drank delicious herbal teas blended by our reisdent herbalist. However, on another level, Romans 1:24-32 also applies to collective societies and cultures down through human history. At the Tower of Babel, arrogant sinners defied God and incurred his just judgment. At Sodom and Gomorrah, the people were so corrupt that God rained down fire and consumed their cities. Furthermore, when God told Moses and Joshua to utterly destroy the Canaanites, it was because these wicked and godless people had filled up the full measure of God's wrath by committing heinous acts of rebellion for over 400 years (Genesis 15:13-16). In short, when a society abandons God, God will abandon them.
