Join me on this episode of Macabre Mini Mysteries as i delve into the true story of the ghost ship and try and solve this unsolved mystery once and for all. I delve into the many Mary Celeste theories that have been put forward over the years since the disaster and try to work out exactly what happened to the Mary Celeste once and for all. In episode 87, Jade addresses some criticism she's been receiving regarding her "radio voice," with that claims that she sounds "inauthentic" (4:28). However, the podcast host points out that news anchors, sports commenters, and tv host tend to switch up their voice because they are "personalities" (7:27). To know Jade, is to know that she is always real, and transparent with her listeners (18:22). Jade then shares the greatest lesson she learned in college (19:58), and then shares some tea about her and Drake N Chill guy. Is he ghosting her (25:12)? While swims fans have been treated to some fast swimming this past week at the European Championships, top-notch US swimmers have been looking sharp three weeks out from the USA’s Olympic Trials. Case in point: tonight, former Texas Longhorn Madisyn Cox came up big with a 2:08.51 in the 200 IM. That time makes her the fastest women in the world so far in 2021, ahead of the 2:08.73 Australian Kaylee McKeown clocked a week ago at the Sydney Open. McKeown was slightly faster last December, having gone 2:08.23. Cox’s time tonight also moves her to #3 all-time among US women, jumping her up from #8. See Hear Music Film Podcast

Welcome to May 2019's episode of See Hear Podcast....despite it being June.   Being a music film podcast, it's rare that we cover a film that involves politics and human rights abuse. This month we're doing that....and yet we're sort of not. John Pirozzi's 2015 documentary "Don't Think I've Forgotten: Cambodia's Lost Rock and Roll" focuses on the Cambodian music scene prior to the rule of Pol Pot and his regime's declaration of Year Zero.   While it is a necessity to bring into some focus the tragedy that was his rule (and the previous years under military rule following the ousting of Prince Norodom Sihanouk), Pirozzi turns his gaze to musicians that were hugely popular in their day in Cambodia in a nation where music was valued and important. Music is shown in the film, both as art and as propaganda. Under the regime in 1975, anyone involved in the arts was a thinker of individual ideas...and that did not fit into the grand scheme of agrarian socialism and an eviction of any Western ideas. The film shows the tragedy, but overall, the film is a celebration of how music really can bring people together - no cliche'.   A good documentary doesn't tell you everything you need. It urges you to go and seek out further information and get a wider understanding of the subject matter. Don't Think I've Forgotten is a good documentary.   The See Hear crew hope to convince you to search this fantastic film out (yeah....spoiler alert - we loved it). Our huge thanks to (patient) listener, Tyler Kennedy for suggesting we cover it.   Download the podcast from Stitcher, Spotify or the website at http://seehear.podbean.com …..or whatever podcast app you favour.   If you dig what we do, could you please rate us at iTunes or even better, spread the word that the show exists on social media or at your next barbecue, gig, or marathon run so more folks can tune in.   Please join our friendly Facebook group at  http://www.facebook.com/groups/seehearpodcast   You can send us emails at seehearpodcast@gmail.com to suggest films you'd like us to discuss, give us your thoughts on what we do or anything else music-film related.

ROSLYN KIND and I finish the conversation we started, and it only gets better as it goes along. Rozzie shares from her heart about how her positive attitude and spirituality guided her path through the ups and downs. She recalls her songwriting experience in the eighties when she collaborated on a song called "Light Of Love" and tells a quick fun story about it. But most of the episode is the two of us forming, as Rozzie put it, a camaraderie. She finishes strong by imparting some of her wisdom for other artists to gain confidence. Once again, Roslyn Kind's song "Save The Country" is featured.. More info at RoslynKind.com

It has become a rarity to find a male as in touch with his intuition and healing gifts as Zach Rehder. Zach instructs lifechanging breathwork seminars and retreats and teaches his students, including yours truly, what it truly means to be fully awake and aware. While it is difficult to put Zach’s healing power into words, today he is here to explain the process of awakening, how to know if you are being truly mindful and present, and why you should be changing your breathing patterns to open yourself up to the divine Universe. An evolutionary force in the processes of awakening, breath, and mindfulness, Zach approaches his work as a tremendous journey to help show others that they are worthy and enough. On this episode, Zach explains how to get outside of your ego and mind when making decisions, ways to become more aware of your patterns and all possible outcomes, and why embracing the emotions you do not want to feel can help you overcome your shame. There is no one eternal truth for everyone, and it is up to all of us to go through our cycles of truths to remove our bubbles of fear and let go of our boundaries and barriers. Zach believes that by harnessing your breath you can breathe new understanding and levels of awareness that you have been too stuck to experience before. By preaching a life filled with following your knowing, checking in with your heart, and honoring your intuition, Zach helps his clients find points of awakening to wake up to the divine within. Have you ever experimented with breathing techniques to help find rest and relaxation? Tell us about your journey in the comments on the episode page!   In This Episode Viewing perceived dysfunction in life as a gift from the Universe Accepting our natural need to judge and learning how to turn the mind off Using breathing and relaxing to bring awareness into your body and mind The difference between feeling and thinking we are feeling Honoring your intuitive knowing to be more expansive in your potential   Quotes “Seeing the pattern is already changing the pattern. Judging the pattern is locking the pattern in place.” (10:28) “Stress, anxiety, overwhelm, all of these are just signs that we are not present and not breathing.” (16:08) “What if it was never about happiness or sadness, but it was about how open or closed we are.” (29:42) “There is no pervasive ‘one size fits all’ kind of truth for collective humanity other than love.” (33:45) - Cherie “You always know what's going to serve you the most, you always know when to leave and when to stay, you always know what to eat and what not to eat, all of these things. And we have all totally ignored that knowing so many times.” (46:28)   Links Zach Rehder Website Follow Zach on Facebook | YouTube   Check out the full episode page here Find Cherie online Follow Cherie on Facebook

The Filmlosophers, Eddie Villanueva, Chad Riley and Spencer Williams, cough up some new personalities with this week's review of Venom (2018). The Sony Pictures film marks the studio's first foray into a Spiderverse without a Spider-Man (to this point, at least). Starring Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed and Jenny Slate, Venom follows man-on-the-street journalist Eddie Brock on a confusingly quirky journey in which he finds himself bonded to an alien symbiote and crusades against a similarly symbiote-empowered villain looking to transform life on Earth and take to the stars before the planet succumbs to environmental degradation. Following a record-breaking October weekend at the box office, does Venom herald the dawn of a new age for Sony when it comes to superhero fare? Or were you better off catching Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga in A Star is Born (2018)? Listen in to find out!

Now this is something special. Fresh from his NR F1 Podcast debut in e168 - our Monaco Grand Prix review podcast (https://audioboom.com/posts/5970276) - the man dubbed "the most powerful sports professional in Norfolk" Stuart Webber sits down for a chat and a diet Coke. Edition 169 of the pod sees Michael Bailey joined by Norwich City's new sporting director, who talks of his love for F1, the Formula 1 connections flowing through his life, whether he still fancies being a racing driver and what F1 and footballer (or soccer, if you like!) could possibly learn from each other. Michael also asks how Webber is settling into life in Norfolk and whether The Rushcutters has a new fan - but obviously he definitely doesn't talk Norwich City Football Club. Not at all. Sort of. * * * The British county of Norfolk is where the iconic success of Team Lotus was cultivated, where Ayrton Senna, Martin Brundle, Mark Webber and more honed their race craft - and home to The NR F1 Podcast. A daily devotional through the recorded words Jesus spoke while He walked alongside us. Our website http://alittlewalkwithgod.com. Thanks for joining me today for "A Little Walk with God." I'm your host Richard Agee. I've always liked logic puzzles. Like this one, for instance. There are three boxes. One is labeled "APPLES" another is labeled "ORANGES". The last one is labeled "APPLES AND ORANGES". You know that each is labeled incorrectly. You may ask me to pick one fruit from one box which you choose. How can you label the boxes correctly? Scripture John 7:33-34 Jesus: I am going to be with you for a little while longer; then I will return to the One who sent Me. You will look for Me, but you will not be able to find Me. Where I am, you are unable to come. Devotional If you're like me, you haven't heard anything since I gave you the puzzle because you've been thinking about how to label those boxes. The answer isn't too difficult since you know all the labels are wrong. Pick a fruit from the box labelled Apples and Oranges. The box will be full of only one kind of fruit since the label is incorrect. So if you pick an orange, label the box, Oranges. Then you know that the box labelled Apples and Oranges must contain only apples since that label is also wrong. So label that box Apples. Finally, the only box left with the wrong label must have the apples in it, so change the box labelled Oranges to Apples and Oranges. And there's the answer. Why give you a logic puzzle to start the podcast and associate it with Jesus' words today? Because I'm sure those who heard His words were just as puzzled as we can get when we hear those logic puzzles I'll be with you But only for a little while Then I'll return to the One who sent Me You'll look for Me, like hide-and-seek You won't find Me You can't go where I'm going What does all this mean? The disciples were confused First part was easy Second part not too hard, maybe He was going on a trip by Himself Third got a little more difficult, but not unlike returning to the country that issued His diplomatic credentials Fourth, if they knew where He was going or that He was returning to a specific place, why would they spend time looking for Him Why wouldn't they be able to find Him, this didn't make sense Why couldn't they go to the same place He went, what special pass did He have that they didn't have? Did they need some special password and how could they get it? We stand on this side of the cross and the answer is easy Like the puzzle at the beginning. If you didn't think of the answer right away, you probably slapped your forehead and said, “Duh! Why didn't I think of that!” Looking back, it's so simple. Looking back in time, Jesus' words are so simple, too. So are His words, “Follow Me.” So why do we have so much trouble understanding and doing those? If you want to learn more about my church, you can find us at SAF.church. If you like the devotional, share it with someone. If you don't, tell me. I hope you'll join me again tomorrow for "A Little Walk with God."

No I was not lazy and did only a minisode this week, I recorded this little ditty yesterday and since I had released the minisode I wasn't as concerned about timing in terms of releasing said episode. It's a little short but I don't think that's too big of a problem. So there's little bits of news that may or may not be important to you. The Trailer Spot this week is The Five Year Engagement starring Jason Segal and Emily Blunt, pretty funny trailer...but it was the red band trailer too. Then I talk a little bit about the Box Office Report. And for reviews I decided to go with American Reunion and then traveled over to my bookcase and found a movie called 21. Lastly my closing comments section is about that one guy that is suing Assassins Creed. What I failed to mention is that I only ever played the first game so I think I'm fairly unbiased in terms of what's going on here. Well enjoy the show!
