Elena Rausa è nata a Milano e attualmente vive in Brianza.
This episode was originally featured on The NonProfit Voice Tech Series hosted by Mark Becker editorial advisory board member for NonProfit PRO. Spreadsheets can quickly become overwhelming for nonprofit marketers — and even if you think they’re working for your organization, you might be surprised by how much more organized and streamlined your efforts could be. That’s where marketing automation comes into play to remove administrative duties from your fundraisers’ day-to-day activities. “When we take away the 32 Excel spreadsheets, the manual reporting, the manual memorization of what emails need to go out — all of that — we free up those fundraisers to be out in the community, really doing the job that we want them to do with the most effectiveness,” Abigayle Tobia, vice president of philanthropy at Verland, said. In this episode, Abigayle shares how marketing automation can simplify tasks, such as pulling reports, reconciling donations, emailing a donor welcome series, bettering donor acknowledgment, making donor communications documentation accessible to all team members, and more. For Tobia, it’s saved her so much time, that she’s more able to pick up the phone now to call donors — as well as determine which donors warrant that additional point of contact — thanks to marketing automation.

Does trying to eat less really help you to lose weight? “People who try to eat less are actually very uncomfortable. It's actually hard to be hungry, and we don't like it,” says Anna Tobia of the Marcus Institute of Integrative Health at Jefferson University. “So, the best way to lose weight is actually to control your environment.” As part of her clinical psychologist role, Ms. Tobia helps people to curb their eating habits and to control eating disorders. On Vital Signs with Brendon Fallon, she highlights how strategy in buying and eating food can enable weight loss and better health. “If your weight isn't where you want it to be, you're not broken. And this isn't because of some trauma that happened to you or some difficult situation. You've got extra weight because it's really hard to [lose weight]”, says Ms. Tobia. Why do we feel so compelled to eat unhealthy, fattening foods? Ms. Tobia ties our “obesity epidemic” to the survival instincts of our ancient ancestors. Therein may just lie the clues we need to bring our cravings under tighter control. ⭕️ Watch in-depth videos based on Truth & Tradition at Epoch TV
In January 2023 Wade Blair gave a presentation at the Carlsbad, CA Chamber of Commerce First Friday Breakfast and asked “Why do people set goals and never take the next steps to properly see them through?” Wade then introduced us all to “The Why Method”. Nehemiah had the task of rebuilding the wall. It was quite a task considering that Sanballat and Tobia was mocking them. When we are working on getting our life together and becoming Christ-minded there will be those who oppose us and want to cause us harm. Despite the opposers, Nehemiah and the people had a mind to work so they finished the assignment that God had for them. In our life, there will be those who will try to distract us from accomplishing God's will for our life. We need to remain focused and continue to have a mind to work so that we will fulfill the will of God for our life and be a blessing to others. Our suicide mission aboard the Icarus comes to an end as Tobia and the rest of the Steel 7 arrive at Jupiter to destroy the colony laser. Will Tobia's X-1 Full Cloth be enough to handle the Callistos and their Dictii? Amidst the fierce battle, we ponder if Giri's Vigna Ghina II was formerly owned by Dorel Ronah, ask why Giri hates the Callistos so much (bagels are involved), agree to disagree about space geometry, and punch a hole in Rosemary's sudden profound philosophizing. Plus, you'd better believe there are a lot of Dictus and Dictii jokes!
On this second to last episode of the Nehemiah series we find Sanballat and Tobia, who Pastor Harris has revealed to us serve as a type and shadow of Satan and his minions, are forced to employ a military option as they see that the walls of Jerusalem are in fact on a direct path to completion. Now, we will also learn about two distinct reactions the people of Jerusalem will have to this imminent threat. How will Nehemiah combat the negative reaction some of the people of Judea are having? How will the positive reaction the other half of Judea are having contribute to success? Will the faith of Nehemiah and his citizen soldiers prevail? Will they answer the trumpeter's call? … and by the way, why does it have to be a trumpet?
In this episode, Kevin and I are very excited to have Captain Kevin Tobia join us. KT is widely respected here at Los Angeles County Fire and had a great career here that spanned 34 years. His leadership of the men he worked with was top-notch and was personally witnessed and experienced by both Kevin and Nole. On top of that KT is a great husband, father, and friend.
