Chaos erupts when Craft Services informs the AD and Producer about a worldwide collapse in the coffee supply chain. On the meantime, Bruce demands his detailed coffee order while the director pushes for rehearsals. The scene inside the film happens in a Western field where Bruce proposes to his girlfriend, Sara. He is grabbing her in his arms and as soon as she accepts his proposal, he lets her fall to the ground claiming he lacks the muscle strength without his coffee. The Producer then reveals the truth about the coffee crisis, leading to Bruce quitting the film. "Cast & Brew" came to me in a New York coffee shop. From my window seat, watched people hurrying by, each holding a giant cup of coffeeIt struck me: not a soul without one, just a whirlwind of rush and stress.And I thought to myself "how attached are we to that coffee and why?". "What would happen if coffee would completely vanish?"  My hope is that audiences recognize how fast-paced our society has become, where every minute not spent being productive feels like you have committed a crime. We're constantly rushing, and when we add caffeine into that mix, we only accelerate the loss of ourselves.  We lose the purpose of why we do things. I find this concept of obsession and lost of reality very interesting and I have discovered that I actually love to explore that in my films. From the idea to the finished product, how long did it take for you to make this film? It took a year. Script took me a week to make 1st draft as a visualised it all in that coffee shop in New York. Paolo Vanoli"Geo Poletti Collezionista e Pittore"Pinacoteca Civica di ComoMostra aperta fino al 3 marzo 2024 La Pinacoteca Civica di Como, dopo il comodato della grande tela di Paolo Pagani con la Caduta degli angeli ribelli concesso dagli eredi di Huberto Poletti (1954–2019), prosegue la collaborazione con la famiglia Poletti organizzando una mostra incentrata sulla figura di Ruggero Poletti, per tutti Geo (Milano, 1926 – Lenno, Como, 2012).Ricercato conoscitore di pittura antica, collezionista e pittore in prima persona, Geo Poletti è una figura di primo piano nel panorama artistico italiano della seconda metà del Novecento. La sua raccolta, costruita con occhio attento alla qualità e senza preclusioni verso gli “anonimi” e gli artisti considerati “minori”, ha svolto un ruolo importante nella riscoperta di alcuni pittori poco noti, poi universalmente riconosciuti da critica e mercato, a partire dall'amato Paolo Pagani (Castello Valsolda, Como 1655 - Milano, 1716), di cui sono esposti ben 7 dipinti, e di un genere emblematico della pittura di età moderna come la natura morta, esplorata con passione e competenza in molte delle sue diramazioni del Seicento e del Settecento.È anche grazie a lui e a Giovanni Testori, compagno di molte avventure nel campo della storia dell'arte, che grandi artisti lombardi a lungo trascurati,da Fra Galgario a Giacomo Ceruti, da Tanzio da Varallo a Cerano, Morazzone e Giulio Cesare Procaccini – sono entrati nel canone della storia dell'arte italiana e della storia del collezionismo.Questi orientamenti si riflettono nella collezione di nature morte montata da Geo Poletti, da tempo riconosciuta come una delle maggiori in Italia e come una fondamentale "officina" per lo studio e la comprensione di questo genere, di cui nella mostra di Como verrà presentata una selezione di capolavori. La mostra della Pinacoteca Civica di Como presenta un nucleo significativo dei dipinti antichi acquisiti a partire dagli anni '50, che verranno allestiti nelle sale della collezione permanente del museo, in dialogo con le opere lì esposte. The oddballs among us are likely familiar with zany as an adjective, meaning "eccentric." But did you know the word originated as a noun—one that has withstood the test of time? Zanies have been theatrical buffoons since the heyday of the Italian commedia dell'arte, in which a "zanni" was a stock servant character, often an intelligent and proud valet with abundant common sense and a love of practical jokes. Zanni comes from a dialect nickname for Giovanni, the Italian form of John. The character quickly spread throughout European theater circles, inspiring such familiar characters as Pierrot and Harlequin, and by the late 1500s an anglicized version of the noun zany was introduced to English. The analogies and sensations Babatunde expresses to explain vocal events is worth the watch. A singer of diverse talents, Nigerian American Baritone, Babatunde Akinboboye is known for his enthralling stage presence. He has performed with the Los Angeles Opera, Opera San Jose, Opera Santa Barbara, Long Beach Opera, and Utah Opera. Babatunde has also debuted the roles of Drew in the Opera Works'Arts for Social Awareness Project's world premiere production of The Discord Opera, and Zanni in the world premiere of Gloria Coates' Stolen Identity. His most recent performances include Daggoo in LA Opera's Moby Dick, Escamillo in Pacific Opera Project's production of Carmen, and Lucha's Father in The Industry's production of Hopscotch. As an advocate for the performance of art song and operatic works written by African, and African American composers, Mr. Akinboboye has headlined the Lagos Chamber of Commerce & Industry awards in Lagos, Nigeria performing a fusion of opera and traditional African music and has been a featured performer at both the National Association of Negro Musicians Annual Conference, as well as the African American Art Song Alliance Conference.
