This week on I Can Do This All Day, Dan the Part-Time Avenger and Mark the Resident Jedi wade into the bloody waters of 2014's cult horror-comedy Zombeavers. That's right—mutant zombie beavers. What starts as your typical cabin-in-the-woods getaway quickly devolves into a toothy terror fest with dams, decapitations, and one seriously questionable bear. The hosts break down the beaver madness—from the over-the-top practical effects to the characters who make every horror movie mistake in the book. Expect laughs, eye-rolls, and some surprisingly deep analysis of the movie's...uh, dam structure. Was it meant to be this ridiculous? Does it earn its cult status? And most importantly—would we survive a zombeaver outbreak?Get ready for gnawed-off limbs, absurd transformations, and a whole lot of "Did that just happen?" moments. You'll never look at a beaver dam the same way again.

The Film School Janitors wouldn't be who they are if they didn't watch movies like ZOMBEAVERS. Why it took so long to get to it is the better question. What it's about shouldn't be a question at all...
We're all back on the ‘cast for an indie horror comedy about a bunch of horny college kids who do battle with an undead colony of beavers that have been altered by toxic waste. And while that premise may sound stupid, the film is also stupid. But that doesn't mean it can't also be fun! Or does it? We're dam sure going to find out in this episode! And we're all just as eager to hear Lobster's full report from SXSW. So sit back, relax, and chew on some wood while finding out how we felt about Zombeavers! Enjoy our review of a very interesting beaver horror movie! Thanks everybody for listening!
It's a big show today. Raj killed another beloved 80's personality, we learn about Zombeavers, what you call a group of Peacocks, and what the Caddyshack Gopher has been up to lately.
Sometimes girls just want to have fun, and Mary (Rachel Melvin), Zoe (Cortney Palm) and Jenn (Lexi Atkins) are heading towards a weekend of fun. This trip turns sour fast. First, team No Boys Allowed, Sam (Hutch Dano), Tommy (Jake Weary) and Buck (Peer Gilroy), show up. Then, a foot is chomped off. Leave it to these zombie beavers as they knock down trees and make tunnels. Smyth (Rex Linn) is eating chicken and talking nonsense. RTS wade through the pond and rock with those blue-eyed demon beavers. Jeremy, Collin and La-Mar, with the help of Bill Burr and John Mayer, turn this cabin slumber party into an epic weekend to remember forever. Disclaimer: there are radioactive zombie beavers that want to gnaw all of your faces off, but in an angry adorable sort of way.
This week on the podcast, add another critter to the list of creature features/nature run amok flicks. If you thought rabbits in Night of the Lepus was pushing the envelope, well...here...we've got beavers. Zombeavers is from the producers of American Pie, so there are of course lots of the expected jokes. This one debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival of all places, and is a bit smarter than you'd think (but not by much). Tune in and subscribe!
Poster art is of Pidgeon‘s tattoo. Check out their charity, Out of the Closet, which collects donations of clothing, accessories, and beauty products for transgender/nonbinary/gender nonconforming individuals, serving most of Illinois. Next week's topic is Terminator 2: Judgement Day.
March is Thor's new theme, Expendabelles! Speaking of marches, we definitely discussed how John Williams was not involved in this film. We also reference the TV show, related Warner Brothers properties, and various comic book iterations. The next topic will be Zombeavers (2014).
In this week's episode, voted on by our Patróns, we watched the 2023 horror-comedy "Slotherhouse." Special topics for your consideration include: two middle-aged people who just don't get the kids these days, facts(ish) about some animals, questions about Greek life, a tale of a future Hall of Famer who definitely fucks (allegedly), and an absolute delight of a Mailbag! Do you like horror movies where an animal is the bad guy? Allow us to recommend Episode 37- "Zombeavers," Episode 41- "The Last Shark (L'ultimo Squalo)," Episode 137- "Monkey Shines," Episode 152- "Anaconda," Episode 168- "Arachnophobia," Episode 193- "Orca," Episode 214- "Congo," Episode 218- "Cujo," Episode 238- "Frogs," Episode 247- "Piranha," Episode 248- "Grizzly," Episode 289- "Crawl," Episode 447- "Cocaine Bear," and I'm certain I have missed a few in there. It's time for one of those huge episodes. Well, it's a four parter anyways. 2014 was for me, a classic year for horror movies, Some would say that not enough time has elapsed to make this assessment, I say, balderdash! The highs are really high & the lows can be quite messy. But, what do I think was the very greatest horror movie that came out during 2014? Well, here we have the top 10. The worst 10. A slew of also rans. Some awesome mates. Some special guests. Several pints of beer and over 5 hours of running time split over 4 episodes. In this week's [UNCENSORED] podcast by GoWild, Derek smells like beaver. He's been busy trapping nuisance beavers on a property for the last few weeks using several 330 Conibear body traps. He talks about how he can't use snares or a drowning rod and with trapping beaver, you have to work with what you got. Have you seen the” Zombeavers” movie?? Do you know how to check the gender of a beaver … it's a bit of a sniff test. Why does Derek trap beaver if it's not just for their pelts? Tune in to learn ever more exciting facts about beavers. Brad is considering a questionable method of fleshing his whitetail deer hides. We bring up one of the biggest problems of having a big freezer full of wild game meat and debate over how long frozen meat is good for. We tease out some things to do with meat that's been in there for a while and Derek drops his favorite beaver meat recipes. Brad bumps into a bonehead who broke into our trailer at the office and he recently competed in a PineWood Derby race with his son. Jacob went fishing, of course, and went after trout and smallmouth bass. Bryaden got out to fish as well, and posed a question about the color of crawfish and water temperature. This is a good time to mention that we have a monster wave of new fishing gear coming to the GoWild store, from soft plastics to crankbaits to line, rods, reels and more, all just in time for spring fishing season, so gear up and get ready! We're also loading up on all the gear you need for spring turkey hunting, including boots, camo, vests, and more. If you like [UNCENSORED], please leave us a review on Apple Podcasts and Spotify! [UNCENSORED] is a behind the scenes look at our adventures, failures, wins, embarrassing moments at trade shows, hilarious tales from the warehouse, and a good rant or three about the most recent tyranny from the Dark Lord of the Sith himself. What do we know about Mark Wahlberg? Well, he's from Boston. And that must mean he loves a good tea party. And that he loves Dunkin'. Oh, and of course that he has a troubled past and is struggling with inner demons. On this week's show, Will and Theo discuss a recent trip in which they witnessed the world's biggest jump, Theo brings an edition of ‘Is this the Onion?' and a synopsis of critically acclaimed movie ‘Zombeavers'. Will reads a typical manuscript of any movie set in Boston, and tells us about the great Spaghetti Tree Hoax. The 90's most Xtreme dude finds himself on an erupting ski slope. We're gonna shred some gnar over that volcano right? Well....no. What we've got here is another Zombeavers. You want to talk about a great premise and setup for a fun disaster film that you won't ever forget? This is it. Dan Cortese in the late 90's on the slopes. A volcano surrounded by snow ready to blow. A deadbeat dad that doesn't care if his son is dead. A character named Stan in a volcano movie!!! Yet, Dan doesn't shred the slopes and jump over the volcano. The volcano and snow face off is vague and stupid. When the deadbeat dad gets his justs deserts its unclear if he even dies. And Stan does NOT ever chuck a man. Booooo.... Seriously this could have been as successful as Sharknado (and its 5 sequels) 16 years ahead had they just got away from the Meredith Baxter Burney formula of made-for-tv movies. I guess ABC wasn't willing to put any mustard behind their content back in '97. Why take a chance with your movie destined to be completely forgotten? Yeah you can skip Volcano: Fire on the Mountain.
