Southern Cross Gold Consolidated CEO Michael Hudson talked with Proactive at the AIM's Small and Midcap Conference about the company's focus on gold and antimony exploration in Victoria, Australia, particularly at the Sundae Creek project. Hudson outlined the scale and significance of the discovery, describing it as “one of the most exciting gold discoveries globally… a rare tier one multi-million ounce high grade discovery.” The company is advancing exploration rapidly, with six drill rigs currently operating and plans to expand to eight. Hudson said the company has completed around 70km of drilling and estimates an exploration target of 2.2 to 3.2 million ounces gold equivalent, grading between 8.5 to 10.6 grams per tonne – all within just 5% of the identified trend. Antimony also plays a key role. Hudson explained that China and Russia dominate the global market and recent export bans have highlighted supply vulnerabilities: “You don't have a defense industry without it. And the Western world really doesn't have it. We've got it.” Hudson also reflected on the company's recent inclusion in the All Ordinaries Index, following the merger of Canadian and Australian entities. He said it marks the first index entry for Southern Cross Gold Consolidated and is “a reflection on a business that's less than three years old.” #SouthernCrossGold #SundayCreek #GoldExploration #Antimony #ASX #MiningStocks #JuniorMiners #ResourceInvesting #MichaelHudson #AllOrdinaries #GoldAndAntimony #AustralianMining

featuring Host Cali Van Zant in a conversation with Chris Temple, editor and Owner of The National Investor     Watch the Podcast on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cV1-SkV_00I      Chris discusses the recent movements in metals, particularly gold and silver, which he believes are driven by insatiable appetite for physical gold and silver.   He also expresses his agnosticism towards copper, attributing its recent increase to stockpiling and anticipation of increased tariffs.   Chris shares his top three commodity themes for the long term, which are natural gas, gold, and uranium.   Trump's Trade Approach: Chris expressed his concerns about President Trump's approach to trade with Canada, arguing that it is not economically sound and could harm the domestic energy industry. He suggested that the US should focus on tariffs against countries like Japan and Europe, rather than Canada and Mexico.   Chris also discusses the potential impact of the US election on Canada's political landscape and the need for Canada to take a more proactive role in managing its own economy and resources.   Chris talks about the long-term potential of uranium and natural gas, emphasizing their strong demand and constrained supply. He argued that these commodities are not significantly impacted by tariffs, as their demand for energy continues to grow. Chris also highlighted the potential for Canadian natural gas producers and explorers, despite the challenges posed by potential tariffs. He concluded that the broader fundamentals of these commodities are more significant than the impact of tariffs.   Chris points out  the challenges of the base metal industry, particularly nickel, in the US and Canada. He highlighted the high global price of nickel, which makes it difficult for domestic projects to compete with cheaper Indonesian supply. Chris suggested that governments should consider implementing public policy initiatives, such as price supports and loan guarantees, to support domestic nickel production. He also emphasized the need for governments to prioritize domestic production over cheaper imports, even if it means higher prices.   Cali and Chris discuss the transition of the world away from integrated globalization and the need for countries to focus on their own resources and defense. They highlighted the importance of critical materials such as rare earths, magnets, antimony, and tungsten for technological advancements and national security.   Chris emphasizes  the need for cyber security measures to protect against data breaches and ransomware attacks.   He also sees the potential for smart investors to focus on one-off stories in the mining commodity space and the tech sector, particularly in cyber security.      About Chris Temple Chris Temple is editor and publisher of The National Investor. Trigg Minerals Executive Chairman Timothy Marrision joined Steve Darling from Proactive's OTC studio in New York City to announce the discovery of high-grade antimony and tungsten mineralization beneath the primary Wild Cattle Creek deposit. The company has just starting trading on the OTCQB market under the symbol TMGLF. Paterson said recent assays at Wild Cattle Creek confirmed grades of 2.14% tungsten (Hole 10WRD16) and 27.6% antimony (Hole 10WRD16W), with a parallel structure averaging 13% antimony and 1.03% tungsten. Morrison highlighted that drilling results indicate an underlying gold system and significant mineral enrichment within the stockwork alteration of the Wild Cattle Creek deposit. This discovery suggests that further exploration could unlock additional value, similar to known deposits such as Hillgrove and Costerfield. The identification of tungsten within the deposit opens the door for expanded drilling programs targeting tungsten-rich zones. Trigg Minerals is also considering resource re-estimation to incorporate tungsten and gold as by-products, pending further drilling results. Additionally, the company plans to re-evaluate metallurgical recovery processes to optimize tungsten extraction alongside antimony. Recognizing tungsten at potentially economic grades increases the likelihood of additional metal credits, enhancing the project's overall economic feasibility. Morrison highlighted the growing strategic importance of antimony, a critical mineral used in military applications, semiconductors, solar panels, and as a fire retardant. As a Western source of antimony, Trigg Minerals aims to address supply chain disruptions caused by China's export ban on antimony products to the US, which has significantly increased global prices. #proactiveinvestors #triggminerals #otcqb #tmglf #asz #tmg

Over time, mining evolved from a necessity for tools and pigments to a strategic industry powering economies and military advancements. This deep historical perspective highlights how mining has always been a fundamental pillar of technological and societal progress. The geopolitical importance of critical minerals – Modern warfare and advanced technology rely heavily on strategic metals like gallium, germanium, and antimony. These elements are essential for electronic warfare, radar systems, night vision devices, and missile guidance. The Chinese government, recognizing this decades ago, secured global mining and processing dominance, putting Western nations in a vulnerable position as they scramble to reestablish domestic supply chains. The rise of drone warfare and EMP defense systems – Military strategy is shifting toward drone swarms, where thousands of small, cheap, AI-powered drones can overwhelm traditional defense systems. This has led to the development of countermeasures like EMP-based defense systems, including the Leonidas program, which uses gallium nitride to disable enemy electronics. This new battlefield dynamic underscores the urgent need for securing critical mineral supplies to maintain technological superiority.China's long-term strategy in resource dominance – Unlike Western nations, where election cycles dictate short-term decision-making, China has played the long game in securing mineral resources. Through initiatives like the Belt and Road, they have locked down raw materials while perfecting the refining process, making them indispensable to global supply chains. Their recent export bans on gallium and germanium show how resource control can be weaponized for geopolitical leverage.Ethical mining and the future of clean extraction – Mining has long been associated with environmental destruction and poor labor conditions, but advances in technology and corporate responsibility are changing that. Major mining companies are now prioritizing ethical sourcing, reducing emissions, and improving worker safety. Blockchain-based tracking systems are also helping verify supply chain integrity, ensuring that materials come from environmentally and socially responsible sources. The vulnerability of supply chains and the need for resilience – The West's reliance on outsourced mineral processing has created significant weaknesses in national security. A disruption—whether through trade restrictions, political instability, or sabotage—can cripple industries dependent on rare materials. A key takeaway is the need for a “bulletproof supply chain,” where critical materials are sourced, processed, and manufactured within allied nations to mitigate risk.AI, decentralization, and the next era of industrial warfare – As AI becomes more embedded in military decision-making and logistics, the balance between centralization and decentralization is being redefined. AI-driven drones, automated mining, and predictive supply chain management are reshaping how nations prepare for conflict. However, this also introduces risks, as AI operates within unpredictable “black boxes,” potentially leading to unintended consequences in warfare and resource management.

The property is strategically located at the intersection of the Restigouche and Grand Pabos Faults, with numerous antimony and gold showings along a key northeast-trending fault. Malhi highlighted the importance of antimony as a critical metal for military applications, including use in night vision goggles, explosive formulations, fighter jets and infrared sensors. With antimony prices doubling this year to a record $22,750 per tonne, driven by shrinking exports from China and Russia, the global deficit has created a significant opportunity for new discoveries. Hertz Energy is mobilizing a team of geologists and technicians this month to conduct geological mapping and prospecting at the Harriman Property. The crew will focus on areas of favorable geology, particularly surrounding historical showings, and will prospect for new antimony and gold discoveries. The timing is crucial given the increasing demand for antimony, particularly from China's growing solar energy sector and supply constraints from Russian producers impacted by sanctions. #proactiveinvestors #hertzlithiuminc #cse #hz #mining #lithium #antimony #missiledefence #CriticalMinerals #Antimony #MiningExploration #SupplyChain #QuebecMining #MineralsInDemand #NorthAmericaMining #solarpanels #batteries #flameretardents #invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews

Mike Whitlow, Managing Director, said: “It has been a highly productive year for ECR, with significant progress made across our portfolio of gold and rare earths projects, and exploration activities are set to accelerate even further. We consider that we're on the verge of identifying the key sources of gold at Lolworth, with a number of high-priority drill targets soon to be lined up for testing.  This marks a pivotal step forward as we look to unlock the project's full potential. At the Blue Mountain Project, we are eagerly anticipating the results from our enhanced gold recovery process which will be critical in guiding us towards the potential commercial options for gold extraction.  In Victoria, our focus remains firmly on drilling. We're set to commence drilling at the Tambo Project in the coming weeks and work is underway to further explore the highly prospective Antimony potential at Bailieston. With the recent surge in this critical mineral's price, we believe that the Bailieston project's Antimony potential may become increasingly significant.” https://www.share-talk.com/ecr-minerals-plc-aimecr-up-to-75-6g-t-gold-rock-chip-identified-at-lolworth-queensland/

Nova Minerals Ltd (ASX:NVA, OTCQB:NVAAF) CEO Christopher Gerteisen joins Proactive's Tylah Tully to discuss the bulk testing of antimony-rich stibnite material at its Estelle Project in a gold and critical minerals rich district of Alaska. This move is part of Nova's strategy to prepare for near-term antimony production, particularly in response to growing US demand for domestic antimony supply, following China's export restrictions. The company has collected 2,500 kilograms of material from the Stibium prospect and 500 kilograms from Styx for metallurgical testing to develop a process flow sheet and plant design. Nova Minerals is also exploring the possibility of a fast-tracked, standalone antimony production scenario, potentially with gold credits. Numerous samples have been sent for analysis, with results expected soon. The company is collaborating with METS Engineering and the University of Alaska-Fairbanks CORE-CM group for the studies. Nova is working closely with US Government agencies, including the Department of Defense, to secure grant funding for this project, aiming to expedite antimony production. Further drilling and exploration of significant stibnite vein zones are planned at Stibium and Styx. #Proactiveinvestors #NovaMinerals #ASX #AntimonyProduction, #EstelleProject, #CriticalMinerals, #Stibnite, #USSupplyChain, #OTCMKTS #NVAAF #GeopoliticalShifts, #MiningIndustry, #MetallurgicalTesting, #AlaskaMining, #AntimonyMining, #GoldCredits, #USGovernment, #DomesticSupply, #MineralExploration, #MiningDevelopment, #BulkTesting, #METSEngineering, #CoreCMGroup, #StibiumProspect #invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews

In this episode, we chat with Michael Hudson, Managing Director of Southern Cross Gold, a junior miner exploring for gold and antimony in the Victorian Goldfields and working on their 100% owned flagship project at Sunday Creek, which is one of the best new grassroots discoveries in Australia with a globally leading high-grade hit rate for this stage of the project's development. Michael is a professional geologist, explorationist, and entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in exploration, project development and management in Australia and internationally. Apart from being the MD of Southern Cross, he is also the founder of Mawson Gold and Hannah Metals, so has a strong pedigree in starting up mining companies. He discusses the journey of Southern Cross, their flagship Sunday Creek project, their community relations work, and shares the history of the Victorian Gold Fields in Australia so don't miss this. KEY TAKEAWAYS Southern Cross Gold is a junior miner exploring for gold and antimony in the Victorian goldfields, with a flagship project called Sunday Creek. Victoria has a rich mining history dating back to the 1800s gold rush era, making it a significant mining state in Australia. Antimony, a critical metal used in defense applications, is a key component of the Southern Cross Gold project, contributing to its value and potential. Southern Cross Gold has actively engaged with the local community, including native title holders and municipal authorities, to ensure support and understanding for the project. With a focus on high-grade gold and antimony extraction, Southern Cross Gold aims to continue its drilling program to potentially reach 3 million ounces of gold equivalent, showcasing a promising future for the project. BEST MOMENTS "I was sixth generation from a little country town, the oldest inland town in Victoria, because it was one day stagecoach ride from Melbourne to this town called Kilmore for the diggers, not the diggers, literally the diggers who went to the goldfields."  "So it's sort of come back to where it all started and you know in my mid-50s I'm happy to be exploring in my backyard. In my 30s I would have dismissed it out of hand because I wanted to travel the world, which I did."  "Gold will pay for it, so we don't have to rely on the risk of the antimony price. It's not like a chemistry set, it's simple chemistry to extract it."  "We're drill baby drill. We're increasing our drill capacity. We put 60 kilometers into this over the last two and a half years. We're going to put 60 kilometers into it over the next year." American ammo supplies could be at risk. One of the key metals used to manufacture ammunition and other weaponry is antimony, and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is now restricting the supply of that key material. This takes place on the heels of a U.S. report saying that the United States may not be prepared for a large-scale war with China, and amid growing concerns over dependence on Chinese materials in the supply chain. Interview with Ron Heeks, Managing Director of Larvotto Resources Ltd.Recording date: 2nd August 2024Larvotto Resources (ASX:LRV) presents a compelling investment opportunity in the gold and critical minerals sector, centered around its recently acquired Hillgrove gold-antimony project in New South Wales, Australia. The company is rapidly advancing this high-grade asset towards production, targeting first output by early 2026.Key Investment Highlights include:Substantial High-Grade Resource: Hillgrove boasts a 1.5 million ounce resource at an impressive grade of 6 g/t gold equivalent. The initial reserve supports a 7-year mine life producing approximately 88,000 ounces of gold equivalent annually.Existing Infrastructure: The project benefits from extensive existing infrastructure, including a fully operational processing plant, 15 km of underground development, and grid power connection. This significantly reduces capital requirements and accelerates the development timeline.Strong Commodity Prices: Both gold and antimony are trading at or near record highs, enhancing project economics. Antimony, in particular, is experiencing robust demand growth, especially in the solar panel industry.Critical Mineral Status: As Australia's largest antimony resource and the world's eighth-largest, Hillgrove holds strategic value in the critical minerals space. This could attract government support and potential off-take partners.Attractive Economics: The pre-feasibility study demonstrates robust returns with a two-year payback period using conservative price assumptions. At current spot prices, payback could be achieved in just one year.Experienced Management: Larvotto is led by a team with a strong track record in project development and operations, positioning them well to execute on the Hillgrove opportunity.Exploration Upside: The company has outlined an exploration target for an additional 1 million ounces, with mineralization open at depth. This presents significant potential to extend the mine life and increase the project's value.Near-Term Catalysts: Investors can look forward to several potential value drivers in the coming months, including the definitive feasibility study, project financing arrangements, and results from ongoing exploration programs.Strategic Growth Potential: Larvotto's strategy of generating cash flow from Hillgrove while pursuing further exploration and potential acquisitions mirrors the successful growth path of many mid-tier Australian gold producers.Since acquiring Hillgrove just 7 months ago, Larvotto has made rapid progress, completing a pre-feasibility study and raising A$6 million to fund ongoing work. The company is now advancing its definitive feasibility study and exploring various funding options, including potential government support for critical minerals projects.Larvotto estimates that only around A$75 million will be needed to bring Hillgrove into production, a relatively modest sum given the existing infrastructure. This creates multiple potential funding avenues, including conventional debt, strategic partnerships, and equity.Investors should continue to monitor the potential risks, including execution challenges in bringing the project into production, commodity price volatility (particularly in the less liquid antimony market), and potential funding risks if market conditions deteriorate.Larvotto Resources offers investors exposure to both gold and the critical mineral antimony through a high-grade project with a clear path to near-term production. With strong commodity price tailwinds, significant exploration upside, and an experienced management team, Larvotto appears well-positioned to create substantial value as it advances Hillgrove towards production. For investors seeking exposure to the gold and critical minerals sectors, Larvotto presents an interesting opportunity to consider as part of a diversified portfolio.View Larvotto Resources' company profile: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/companies/larvotto-resources-limitedSign up for Crux Investor: https://cruxinvestor.com

The Energy Question With David Blackmon, Episode 23: David chats With Tammy Nemeth About This 'Energy Transition'In Episode 23 of The Energy Transition podcast, David Blackmon and Dr. Tammy Nemeth talk about the progress, or lack thereof, being made related to the so-called 'energy transition.' Among other sub-topics, David and Tammy address are the following: The major impact of public policy on how and where we get our energy. Keystone XL – has Biden's cancellation reduced oil sands production? BP Earnings and strategy shift and the factors that led to it. Issues with ESG and related reporting mandates. Why the principles of accounting are a potential impediment to ESG. What is the real pace of progress in the “energy transition?” Are high energy/food prices a feature rather than a bug in the energy transition? Will the production of lithium-ion batteries really rise by a factor of 700% by 2027? Dave has brain lock about which Lithium Triangle country just made a big deal with China to develop its resources. Hint: It's Bolivia. The problem isn't limited to Lithium: It's Copper, Cobalt, Antimony, Nickel and on and on and on. Siemens Gamesa's big loss on wind energy, and how ESG investors like Vanguard and BlackRock shared in it. Canada pension plan's investments in something called Octopus Energy, a company that boasts about never having made a profit. Why India, Indonesia and other Asian nations continue to increase coal usage. Tammy has a cooler head than Dave about the ultimate outcome of all of this boiling of the frog on energy in the western world. This is a wonderfully deep and encouraging story and illuminates the incredible work that she does. Alkistis Dimech is an artist, dancer-choreographer and writer exploring the occulted dimensions of the carnal body and its subtle anatomy. Her art and praxis is grounded in ankoku butô (dark dance), which she has practised since 2002. Alkistis considers herself as a dancer after Nietzsche, and pursues a vision of the dancing body and its technique as the final place of resistance. With Peter Grey, she is the co-founder of Scarlet Imprint, an independent press which publishes practitioner-oriented works on magic, esotericism and the occult. Alkisitis has performed in the UK, Europe and the United States, solo and in collaboration with musicians and artists, notably Z'EV, Gast Bouschet and Nadine Hilbert, and Anji Cheung – and spoken of her practice and given workshops, at conferences and events in the UK, Europe and the United States. Selected works from 2008 to 2018 are documented in The Brazen Vessel (Scarlet Imprint 2019). Robert is a practicing alchemist and author. In 1974, he left San Jose State University to pursue an intensive course of alchemical study at the Paracelsus Research Society (later Paracelsus College) under the guidance of Dr. Albert Reidel (aka Frater Albertus). By 1976, at the prompting of Frater Albertus, Robert returned to college at Boise State University to complete his degree in chemistry with the view of working at the newly formed Paralab, a commercial offshoot of Paracelsus College. In 1979, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry and immediately began work at Paralab as Chief Chemist. Working closely with Frater Albertus, Robert researched and developed a wide range of mineral and metallic preparations following Western and Eastern alchemical traditions for applications in alternative health care. Later, Robert was selected by Frater Albertus to become a Director of Research at Tristar, the future vision of Frater Albertus which would combine the Paracelsus College, Paralab, and a Healing Arts Center into one complex. Unfortunately with the death of Frater Albertus in 1984, both the college and Paralab closed its doors and the Tristar dream was never realized.Robert is the author of, among other titles:Real Alchemy; The Way of the Crucible; The Temper of Herbs; And most recently, The Book of Antimony. You can find Robert's work at spagyricus.com

Phoenix Aurelius has the pleasure of interviewing the great Alchemist and long time practicing Spagyrist, Robert Allen Bartlett in this episode. As a fair warning, the first part of this episode may go over most people's heads, unless you are versed in Alchemical Terminology. Phoenix and Robert chat about: Robert's time working with Frater Albertus for the Paracelsus Research Society in SLC, Utah, his 50 plus years of Antimony research, Alchemical Oil of Gold, polar and non polar solvents, dreams for better research around Spagyria and creating a place for Spagyria in Modern Medicine, how the Spagyric process can create completely new phytochemicals, Fixed Sulfur, Paracelsus, a bit about Robert's books and his school "Spagyricus Institute", and plenty more. Regardless if you are a total newbie or experienced in the Alchemical arts, this episode is still bound to give you some interesting takeaways so keep your notepad and pencil ready. If you are familiar with Spagyria then you most likely have heard of Robert Allen Bartlett, as he has written a handful of some of the best books on the market that break down the elusive Alchemical Arts in a student friendly fashion. Phoenix is always recommending his books (linked below) to his own students, and has long looked up to Robert as the skilled teacher that he is. Robert Allen Bartlett was the chief chemist for famous Alchemist, Frater Albertus during the 1980's in Salt Lake City, for the Paracelsus Research Society (P.R.S.). Working closely with Frater Albertus, Robert researched and developed a wide range of herbal, mineral and metallic preparations following Western and Eastern alchemical traditions for applications in alternative health care. Robert had a long career as a chemist after P.R.S. closed it's doors, working as a research scientist for new ceramic materials and then later was the Chemistry Department Manager for a large materials testing laboratory. Throughout his life, Robert has been able to document and perfect Alchemical experiments in ways ancient alchemists would have dreamed about. Currently Robert is offering in person classes at his school, Spagyricus Institute in Marysville, WA and is working on releasing many more books in the future. Phoenix highly recommends studying with Robert Allen Bartlett first before taking any immersion apprenticeships with him personally at the Phoenix Aurelius Research Academy.
