During the last several months there has been a weird little rabbit hole of the internet that I have been traveling down. The hole in question involves an unknown dutch developer known as Blue Box Game Studios and a project known as Abandoned. And as we discussed last week the internet did what the internet does and the entire thing began to morph and become something that it was never intended to be. Or at least from the outset. As we dove deeper and deeper into the entire Blue Box Conspiracy, one thing became abundantly clear and that is that there was a complete mismanagement of expectations. Other exciting games featured in the show include the innovative card-based RPG Loop Hero, Tetris Effect: Connected, Shovel Knight: Pocket Dungeon, and many more. After announcing yesterday that a "Realtime Experience" patch would be available universally starting at 12pm PT / 3pm ET time today, Blue Box Game Studios announced that a demo for its upcoming project Abandoned has been delayed due to technical issues. Sonic the Hedgehog and Tails are joining Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania as playable characters, free and unlockable on all platforms through normal gameplay at launch. The Blue Box Game Studios conspiracy rabbit hole with Hideo Kojima and Silent Hills reaches Charlie Day - Pepe Silvia levels. Sony acquires the developers of Returnal and long time second party relationship studio, Housemarque. In announcing that, Playstation Japan tweets the wrong image showing Bluepoint Games' logo, which confirms an imminent additional acquisition. Also, we're not sure if this was obvious at this point but, yeah we're doing things in English now.

When it comes down to it, this is the spookiest conspiracy that I've talked about. We're talking about the new PS5 exclusive, Abandoned, from Blue Box Game Studios. And long story short, a bunch of people (including me) think this is actually the next Silent Hill game that is being made by non other than Hideo Kojima. Is it hopeful thinking? For sure. Are there some aspects to the conspiracy that almost seem like reaching? Definitely. Is there a bunch of fishy stuff about this game and Blue Box Game Studios? ABSOLUTELY!!!

Dit keer nemen er niet 2, maar 3 Gamekings voor je plaats achter de desk. Met Daan, Koos en Jelle wordt het wat dat betreft in ieder geval een groot feest. De heren gaan het deze keer hebben over GTA V op de Xbox Game Pass, MLB 21 The Show, de E3 2021, Blue Box Game Studios en natuurlijk nog heel veel meer. Xbox Game Pass strikes again Al jarenlang kunnen Xbox gamers genieten van de Xbox Game Pass service. Een service waarin jij, voor een schappelijk bedrag, uit een groot arsenaal aan games kan kiezen om te spelen. Dit arsenaal bestaat niet alleen uit kleine games, maar ook uit Triple A first en third party titels. Zo kunnen gamers op de dag van release genieten van de first party games van Xbox. Maar gamers kunnen ook (opnieuw) genieten van de grootste game van de afgelopen 10 jaar, sterker nog, misschien zelfs ooit: GTA V. Hoewel de game al eerder op Game Pass stond, was dat maar voor maand. Mensen die het spel in eerste instantie dus hadden gemist, krijgen nu een tweede kans. Nederlandse developers rise up! Als we kijken naar de Nederlandse game-industrie kan je niet echt heel veel heavy hitters opnoemen. Tuurlijk, Guerilla Studio's speelt een gigantische rol voor PlayStation, en afgelopen december hadden wij Tomas Sala, developer van Xbox succes The Falconeer, bij ons te gast. Maar het merendeel van Nederlandse game developers bevindt zich voornamelijk in de Indie scene. Daar kwam deze week een beetje verandering in. Blue Box Game Studios, uit Leiden, is namelijk verantwoordelijk voor de PS5 exclusive 'Abandoned'. En nee, zij zijn geen alter ego van Hideo Kojima.
