This amounts to a doubling of interest costs over the past 19 months, according to Bloomberg. It is the equivalent of 15.9 percent of the Federal budget for fiscal year 2022. The worsening metrics may reignite debate about the US fiscal path amid heavy borrowing from Washington. The police describe her as a terrorist and she was arrested at the scene. Not only was her intention to hurt or kill Jewish school children in their school in Indianapolis but she was completely mistaken about her target. The 34-year-old terrorist woman, allegedly backed her vehicle into a building associated with Black Hebrew Israelites on Friday. She admitted to the police that she specifically targeted the building because she was offended by a Hebrew Israelite symbol in front. This psycho thought she was entitled to try to harm children because she was offended by a symbol in front of the building, apparently. There were several adults and children in the building at the time. However, they were not who the woman thought they were. She said, “Yes. I did it on purpose.” She kept describing the building as the “Israel school” and she spoke about “her people back in Palestine.” According to the Anti-Defamation League, the Israelite School of Universal and Practical Knowledge is a sect of the Black Hebrew Israelites. It is an extremist group that is anti-Israel. The Southern Poverty Law Center (I know) has designated them as a hate group. So, ironically, the unhinged and offended the woman plowed into the building used by a group who hate Israel as she does. She is Darwin Award material. An investigation is underway. There may be additional charges brought against her. The Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis said Safe Indiana, a Jewish community security program, is working with cops to probe the incident. “Safety and security for our community is of the utmost importance, and we are more secure and prepared than ever before,” the federation said in a statement. “Although a Jewish facility was not targeted, solely due to ironic misidentification, this is yet another reminder to maintain security protocols, remain vigilant of suspicious activity and to (report promptly) to the appropriate authorities.” These random acts of terror seem to be increasing. FBI Director Christopher Wray recently warned of lone wolf attacks. Wray said Hamas inspired terrorists pose a threat not seen since the days of ISIS. She confessed that she was motivated to do the attack after watching news coverage of the Israel-Hamas war. She is originally from Amman, Jordan. Wray said that while Hamas is assessed to have no capabilities inside the US, other actors – possible radicalized individuals or small groups – could take inspiration from the terror group in a way similar to ISIS. Speaking to the Senate’s Homeland Security Committee, he said: “We assess that the actions of Hamas and its allies will serve as an inspiration, the likes of which we haven’t seen since ISIS launched its so-called caliphate several years ago. “In just the past few weeks, multiple foreign terrorist organizations have called for attacks against Americans and the West.” He said: “Here in the United States, our most immediate concern is that violent extremists – individuals or small groups – will draw inspiration from the events in the Middle East to carry out attacks against Americans going about their daily lives.” She was charged with a preliminary charge of criminal recklessness. Gregory, who was born in February, suffers from a rare degenerative mitochondrial disease and has been receiving life-sustaining treatment on a ventilator at the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham, England. After England’s high court ruled that it was in the child’s “best interests” to be taken off life support, Gregory’s parents appealed to take her to Rome for treatment, an appeal that was denied by a British judge over the weekend. The Italian government decided in an emergency meeting on Monday to grant the critically ill child Italian citizenship and to cover the cost of her medical treatment at the Vatican’s Bambino Gesù (jay-zoo) hospital. “They say there isn’t much hope for little Indi, but until the very end, I’ll do what I can to defend her life,” Italian President Giorgia Meloni wrote on social media on Nov. 6. “And to defend the right of her mamma and papa to do all that they can for her.” The Bambino Gesù hospital has previously offered medical treatment to other critically ill children, including Alfie Evans in 2018 and Charlie Gard in 2017, both of whom were ultimately denied the chance to travel to Italy by U.K. courts and died days after being removed from life support. Christian Concern has published a letter from the president of the Bambino Gesù hospital outlining “a detailed treatment plan” for the child, which includes “life-sustaining treatment and palliative care to ensure Indi’s survival and comfort while the treatments take effect.” Andrea Williams, chief executive of Christian Concern and the Christian Legal Centre supporting the Gregorys’ case, has noted that this is believed to be the first time that a parent’s appeal against an order to withdraw life-sustaining treatment has been rejected by the Court of Appeal without a hearing. “The law is there to protect life and the most vulnerable in our society. A Texas Southern University tuba player swiftly knocked out an obnoxious heckler during a football game Saturday before carrying on playing his instrument. Video taken from the stands during Saturday’s game between Texas Southern and Jackson State shows the college band’s tuba player bouncing along to the music while a fan starts yelling at him. A Jackson State fan can be seen in the footage aggressively yelling at the tuba player, who is attempting to continue playing with the band. Seeming to have had enough of the outburst, the Texas Southern tuba player says something to the man before swiftly punching him four times in the face. The Texas Southern band member then returns to his instrument as if the altercation never happened. In one recording of the incident, the band member can be heard telling the aggressive fan, “F–k off, b—h.” It’s unclear whether the heckler, who stumbled back several feet in the stands, sustained any injuries from the scuffle. It’s also unclear whether police responded to the incident or if any action was taken against the band member. The female high schooler played on Dighton-Rehoboth High School’s team, and now the co-captain / teammate of her squad is speaking up and calling for policy change to prohibit men from competing against women to avoid further incidents. Kelsey Bain, who plays on Dighton-Rehoboth and is the co-captain of the field hockey team, posted a letter on X, directed at the MIAA to change the association’s policy that allows men to compete against women. “This is a letter I sent to the MIAA in response to the recent Swampscott vs. Dighton-Rehoboth field hockey incident,” Kelsey Bain posted on X, including the three-page notice. Women’s rights activist and OutKick host Riley Gaines shared Bain’s statement on social media. The man played for Swampscott High School, who played Dighton-Rehoboth in a playoff field hockey contest on Thursday. Under the MIAA’s ruling — the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association — men can compete against women if a sport does not offer their gender’s league. The man’s shot knocked several of the girl’s teeth out and caused serious facial injuries. Video of the hit shows the girl writhing in pain and screaming. To prevent these incidents from continuing, Kelsey Bain is stepping into the discourse, understanding that the association will not budge on the issue unless they are challenged. Dighton-Rehoboth Superintendent Bill Runey put out a statement, identifying that the opponent was indeed a man and relaying the horror of the team personnel after one of their own suffered a brutal injury. Runey said, “Last night, a female field hockey player for the Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School girls’ field hockey team sustained significant facial and dental injuries when she was struck in the face by a shot in the third quarter versus Swampscott in an MIAA state playoff contest. “The shot was taken by a male member of the Swampscott girls field hockey team. This injury required hospitalization. The player, her family, teammates, and coaches remain in my prayers.”

A Texas Southern University tuba player swiftly knocked out an obnoxious heckler during a football game Saturday before carrying on playing his instrument. Video taken from the stands during Saturday’s game between Texas Southern and Jackson State shows the college band’s tuba player bouncing along to the music while a fan starts yelling at him. A Jackson State fan can be seen in the footage aggressively yelling at the tuba player, who is attempting to continue playing with the band. Seeming to have had enough of the outburst, the Texas Southern tuba player says something to the man before swiftly punching him four times in the face. The Texas Southern band member then returns to his instrument as if the altercation never happened. In one recording of the incident, the band member can be heard telling the aggressive fan, “F–k off, b—h.” It’s unclear whether the heckler, who stumbled back several feet in the stands, sustained any injuries from the scuffle. It’s also unclear whether police responded to the incident or if any action was taken against the band member. The female high schooler played on Dighton-Rehoboth High School’s team, and now the co-captain / teammate of her squad is speaking up and calling for policy change to prohibit men from competing against women to avoid further incidents. Kelsey Bain, who plays on Dighton-Rehoboth and is the co-captain of the field hockey team, posted a letter on X, directed at the MIAA to change the association’s policy that allows men to compete against women. “This is a letter I sent to the MIAA in response to the recent Swampscott vs. Dighton-Rehoboth field hockey incident,” Kelsey Bain posted on X, including the three-page notice. Women’s rights activist and OutKick host Riley Gaines shared Bain’s statement on social media. The man played for Swampscott High School, who played Dighton-Rehoboth in a playoff field hockey contest on Thursday. Under the MIAA’s ruling — the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association — men can compete against women if a sport does not offer their gender’s league. The man’s shot knocked several of the girl’s teeth out and caused serious facial injuries. Video of the hit shows the girl writhing in pain and screaming. To prevent these incidents from continuing, Kelsey Bain is stepping into the discourse, understanding that the association will not budge on the issue unless they are challenged. Dighton-Rehoboth Superintendent Bill Runey put out a statement, identifying that the opponent was indeed a man and relaying the horror of the team personnel after one of their own suffered a brutal injury. Runey said, “Last night, a female field hockey player for the Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School girls’ field hockey team sustained significant facial and dental injuries when she was struck in the face by a shot in the third quarter versus Swampscott in an MIAA state playoff contest. “The shot was taken by a male member of the Swampscott girls field hockey team. This injury required hospitalization. The player, her family, teammates, and coaches remain in my prayers.”

In this final episode of series two I talk to Connie Yates, mother of Charlie Gard who in 2017 was at the centre of a crisis and debate that stretched from the High Court in London, to the Vatican, the White House and into homes across the world. That debate raised issues of medical ethics and the fundamental rights of parents. But for Connie and partner Chris it brought only pain. For the question being asked was the most heart rending imaginable – should their son be kept alive to receive treatment that might extend his life? This is ultimately the story of a mother and father’s unbelievable determination in the face of systemic resistance. From Charlie’s diagnosis to a final court case to decide where he would die, Connie charts the full shocking detail of their fight against Britain’s medical and legal establishment. This is, of course, ultimately a story that ends in heartbreak. But it’s also a story of hope and of a mother’s fight for control against a tide of unrelenting crisis. But what singles them out is their determination to fight against the consensus view every step of the way – each step a crisis in its own right. To get their sick son to Great Ormond Street, to refuse to accept that his condition was untreatable, to raise over £1m to fund the treatment in the US and to fight in every court in the land to get him that treatment. And then, when time ran out, to fight in the courts a final time so that Charlie might die at home and in peace. Connie’s background as a carer for disabled children (her Mum remarkably did the same job) clearly gave her a certain perspective. But in the end, it was an inner determination – a stubbornness – that drove Connie to fight against the medical and legal systems. WHAT'S RUSTLING MY JIMMIES In a Charlie Gard update, sadly, Charlie has died, just days before his first birthday. Charlie's mother, Connie Yates, said simply: “Our beautiful little boy has gone, we are so proud of you, Charlie.” And, based on every available account, it didn't have to be this way. An American doctor at Columbia University Medical Center has agreed to help this baby, and the family raised more than $1.6 million to take him there and have him treated. But, a British High Court judge ruled that the doctors could turn off Charlie's life support, because apparently the judge, in his infinite wisdom, knew that death was better for Charlie than the chance to live. But what chance did Charlie really have if he had received this treatment in America? According to Charlie's mother, "We want people to realize that we have been speaking to parents whose children were just like Charlie before starting treatment and now some of them are walking around like normal children. We wanted Charlie to have that chance too."  The Independent Payment Advisory Board As Murray Rothbard so famously asked in his article in the Libertarian Forum in July of 1977, "Do You Hate the State?" WHAT'S IN THE NEWS In unfit to exist news, a group of 43 US Senators — 29 Republicans and 14 Democrats — want to implement a law that would make it a felony for Americans to support the international boycott against Israel, which was launched in protest of that country's decades-old occupation of Palestine.  In come and get them news, 3D-printed gun designs are selling on the dark web for only $12.  In what the actual fuck news, a Texas man has been ordered to come up with more than $60,000 in back child support for a girl he did not biologically father and met only once in his life.  In smoke 'em if you've got 'em news, the FDA has given the e-cigarette industry a regulatory reprieve, for now. In come and get them again news, a lawsuit filed in federal court alleges the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) violated the gun rights of foster parents. In finally, some good news, President Trump's administration, on orders to kill two regulations for every new one, ripped up the playbook during its first six months, eliminating 16 old rules for every new one, according to top officials. ANCAP APPS What a wild ride it's been for Swarm City. First, I was bullish on Arcade City when it was first announced, then after several delays and very damning information came out about the founder, Christopher David, I became much more skeptical. Then, Swarm City takes over, gets rid of Christopher David, and makes some huge strides, so I was bullish all over again! They even sponsored ads on my show and I bought a bunch os Swarm City tokens. And, while I'm still bullish on Swarm City, I am a bit cautiously concerned after the latest hump on the roller coaster ride that is decentralized, crypto-backed peer-to-peer trading. In case you haven't heard, Swarm City was involved in an exploit, called the Parity Multisig Wallet Exploit, that cleaned out their primarily Etherum wallet where they held their operating funds for developing Swarm City. This was the money they made from their token sale last year and this was the money they used to pay for developers, marketing, and the like. The total amount taken was 44,055 Ether, worth, at the time of the theft, $9 million. In total, over 150,000 Ether was stolen from three different companies using these multi-sig wallets. What a multi-sig wallet does is it requires multiple people to sign off before any funds are removed from the wallet to keep the funds safe. This prevents any one person from taking all of the funds. Well, unfortunately, it didn't quite work out that way. THE NEXT GENERATION As you guys know by now, my wife and I have homeschooled our children since birth. We've been fortunate that my 9 and 11-year-old sons have never spent a day in government indoctrination centers, much to the chagrin of my public-school teacher mother-in-law. But, we don't regret a single minute of it, and we are thrilled to be setting our children up for the future by teaching them things they really need in the real world, like entrepreneurship, personal responsibility, how to find the answer instead of telling them the answer, and a love of learning. Who knew, though, that while doing this I was saving the state money, which is a fucking shame since I am still paying the same amount in taxes as people who send their kids to public school.  Apparently, those savings are pretty large too. For example, based on state spending per student multiplied by the approximate number of homeschoolers in each state, California is saving $1.8 billion a year thanks to homeschool families, and yet that state is still in massive debt. Go figure. Other notable states include North Carolina at $1 billion, New York at $1.7 billion, Texas at $1.2 billion, Florida at $729.8 million, and Illinois at $798.6 million. Even little bitty New Hampshire is saving $80.7 million per year.

The bill, HB 2355, will now go to Governor Kate Brown's desk. She said she is looking forward to signing this bill into law. It decriminalizes possession of the drugs so long as the offender has neither a felony nor more than two prior drug convictions on record. WHAT'S IN THE NEWS First of all, I want to apologize for this episode being late. I have been exceptionally busy the last few weeks, but I'm back on track now and should be able to get this podcast back to its regularly scheduled time on the next episode. In universal health care update, 11 month-old terminal ill Charlie Gard in the United Kingdom is still struggling to survive despite the British courts condemning him to death, and now, a new development makes things even more complex. In government force news, France took a bold step and made vaccinations mandatory starting in 2018 to combat anti-vaxxers.  In life imitating satire news, it appears that Frederic Bastiat's brilliant satirical essay, "Candlestick Makers' Petition," is coming true. "Candlestick Maker's Petition" In the Nevada governor is high news, Gov. Brian Sandoval declared a state of emergency after stores that sell recreational marijuana reported that their supply is running out just less than two weeks after the drug went on sale legally. In Big Brother news, garbage men are now being trained to spy on their customers.   In eugenics news, a county in Tennessee is offering free vasectomies to male inmates in exchange for a whole 30 days removed from their sentence. Not to be left out, women can also receive time off if they receive a Nexplanon implant in their arm which will prevent pregnancies for up to four years. In civil asset forfeiture news, Attorney General Jeff Sessions plans to increase one of the least democratic powers of law enforcement - civil asset forfeiture. NEW HAMPSHIRE, IT'S LIKE THIS TOO What a year New Hampshire has had already. Not only have we had three state legislators switch their party affiliation to Libertarian, making New Hampshire the state with more Libertarian legislators than all the other 49 states combined and giving us the only Libertaricaucussus in a state house in the country, but we have had so many other wins this year that it's damn near impossible to keep up. It's a terrible situation when the parents of an ill child cannot do anything to save them. It get much worse when the state refuses to let them try anything to save them. The saga of Charlie Gard in England is a tragic tale that is strikingly reminiscent of many of the issues of our time. Where has the respect for life gone? WHAT'S RUSTLING MY JIMMIES There are few things that piss me off more than children being harmed, as you likely heard on my last episode where I talked about children being tortured in public schools. This week, a case that I've watched for a few weeks came to a heartbreaking end, and it has me really pissed off. Charlie Gard is a 10-month-old baby who suffers from a rare genetic disorder called mitochondrial DNA depletion syndrome. It's a horrendous condition that leads to organ malfunction, brain damage, and other symptoms. The hospital that had been treating the boy, Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London, made the determination that nothing more can be done for him and he must be taken off of life support. He should “die with dignity,” they said. The parents, Chris Gard and Connie Yates, disagreed. This is the very crucial thing to understand: they are not insisting that Great Ormond Street Hospital be forced to keep Charlie on life support. Rather, they want to take him out of the hospital and to America to undergo a form of experimental therapy that a doctor here had already agreed to administer. Chris and Connie raised over $1.6 million to fund this last-ditch effort to save their child's life. All they needed the British hospital to do was release their child into their care, which doesn't seem like a terribly burdensome request. They would then leave the country and try their luck with treatment here. However slim the chance of success may have been, it was better than just sitting by and watching their baby die. Here's where things get truly insane and barbaric. The hospital refused to give Charlie back to his parents. The matter ended up in the courts, and, finally, in the last few days, the European Court of “Human Rights” ruled that the parents should be barred from taking their son to the United States for treatment. According to the “human rights” court, it is Charlie's human right that he expire in his hospital bed in London. The parents are not allowed to try and save his life. It is “in his best interest” to simply die, they ruled. WHAT'S IN THE NEWS In government theft news, a new federal bill seeks to track your money and assets incessantly, will enjoin any business with government ties to act as a de facto arm of DHS, and would steal all of your assets — including Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies — should you fail to report funds when traveling with over $10,000. In asshats using the nanny state news, Parents Against Underage Smartphones is collecting signatures to get Initiative 29 on the Colorado 2018 ballot to stop the sale of smartphones for use by children younger than 13 years old. In unintended consequences news, Seattle's first-in-the-nation $15 per hour minimum wage law is hurting the workers it aimed to help, a new study has found. In without the government news, charitable giving in the U.S. topped $390 billion in 2016, up nearly 3 percent from 2015. I wonder how high this would have been without the government stealing large portions of our paychecks? In government waste news, the money they steal from you can't even be used efficiently. The Pentagon overspent between $26 and $28 million on useless camouflage for the Afghan National Army (ANA), a government watchdog study found.
