SEASON 3 EPISODE 119: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (1:45) SPECIAL COMMENT: Senator Lisa Murkowski may be the most important person in the country right now. Her public confession that she too is afraid of the Trump nightmare and her HINTS at talking to Senate colleagues ABOUT her fear – could provide just enough Republican rebellion to rein Trump in. It feels as if she just got it, as if she just understood that yes Trump is Nazi-esque and yes Trump often emulates the Soviets but the closest parallel to him is O'Brien and "The Party" in Orwell's "1984" and the simple terrifying conviction that "the object of power is power." That's why I think when Kristi Garden Noem and Secretary of Defense (and Vodka) Hegseth (if he's still on the job after ANOTHER Signal chat came to light) file their report on the border to Trump this week and tell him no, they don't need to invoke The Insurrection Act, he may do it anyway because... the object of power is power. Murkowski and thirteen other Republican Senators and at most four Republican Representatives can stop this. They can save the country. They can impeach Trump or if they still can’t get over the hump, the 18 of you can use the THREAT to impeach him, to virtually fetter him, to at least control the width and breadth of his damage, to make him know the Senate WILL vote against him. She can also talk to anybody on the Supreme Court except Alito or Thomas. The other seven, in the middle of the damn night - at 1 AM Saturday - stepped in to freeze any further disappearing Americans under the phony premise of The Alien Enemies Act. And there is reason to hope that these Murkowski-led conversations might happen before the iron curtain of dictatorship descends: Later in her confession of fear, she hinted at doing exactly what I just suggested. Meanwhile, how many times can you self-destruct on this? Gavin Newsom dismisses the Kilmar Abrego Garcia case as a "distraction" and calls Democrats sheep for defending the constitution. On the other hand, Senator Ed Markey is crafting a sense of the senate resolution stating Trump cannot again be elected, and cannot again serve, as president or vice president. Damn Straight. B-Block (40:00) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: The Musk Crappertruck Owner who claims to also be a "girl dad"; Pennsylvania congressman Dan Meuser kinda blames Governor Josh Shapiro's criticizing Trump for provoking the attempt to incinerate him and his family in the governor's mansion on Passover. And Trump DEI hire Pam Bondi lies that compulsive martyr and 85th Place Olympic Trials finisher Riley Gaines "went to the Olympics." Not unless she bought a ticket, Pam Blondie. C-Block (55:00) THINGS I PROMISED NOT TO TELL: The renewed Trump bid to ban the Associated Press got me talking to a friend: How MANY times have I been banned, as a reporter? Do you mean this century, or in total? It's... a lot. From the LA Clippers to the ESPN Campus, I've been banned... a lot. And je ne regret rien!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Congressman Dan Meuser from Pennsylvania's 9th District on the fallout from Tuesday's Presidential “debate.” Sarah McAbee's husband - a former sheriff- was sentenced to 70 months in federal prison for what he was accused of doing on January 6th, 2021. He was jailed without bail and waited two years before going to trial. Her description of his treatment is stunning. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
KAMALA IS IN TOWN She's going to be in Pittsburgh preparing for the debate on Tuesday. Former Congressman Conor Lamb says Kamala coming to Pittsburgh is a sign that she cares about each and every one of us.That doesn't mean she'll be talking to us by doing a press conference or any interviews. Congressman Dan Meuser talks about what a bad candidate Harris is, especially for Pennsylvania. The governor of New York, Kathy Hochul, had a Chinese spy working for her. She also worked for Governor Andrew Cuomo. This seems to happen a lot with Democrats.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
The Democratic coup nominated Kamala Harris this morning in a race in which no one voted for her. Snubbing Governor Josh Shapiro who is too ambitious and supports Israel, Kamala added a kindred radical Governor Tim Walz of Minnesota. Governor Walz has given driver's licenses to illegals, codified abortion rights into law, stripped parents of their rights with gender-affirming care for minors, and failed to act when BLM was burning down cities in Minnesota. Governor Tim Walz, who thinks socialism is being neighborly. Another Tim and another Minnesotan, Tim Hogan, is with me today to make the case that Governor Walz is a "moderate." Congressman Dan Meuser from Pennsylvania also joins me to discuss Kamala's new VP pick. This is the most left-wing ticket we've ever seen with Harris and Walz's record well documented. Rep. Meuser shares data on new Republican voters in Pennsylvania and what the state is doing to ensure election integrity. Jimmy Failla is heading down to Florida for a weekend of stand-up shows, so we called up former Congressman Jason Chaffetz and asked him to pinch-hit for him on Fox Across America. Jason is joined by his old colleague, former New York Republican Congressman Lee Zeldin, who talks about the absurdity of what's been allowed to take place on college campuses throughout the country. Criminal defense attorney David Gelman sheds light on the irrelevance of former adult film star Stormy Daniels' testimony in former President Trump's hush money trial in Manhattan. Criminal defense attorney Lexie Rigden tries to make sense of the case the prosecution is attempting to lay out in this Trump trial, and explains why it would be a bad idea for the former president to take the stand. Chairman of the Republican National Committee Michael Whatley discusses the importance of having presidential debates this fall before early voting begins. Former GOP nominee for U.S. Senate in Washington State Tiffany Smiley tells Jason what has prompted her to now run for Congress. Pennsylvania Republican Congressman Dan Meuser slams President Biden for his recent threat to withhold aid to Israel if the nation moves ahead with plans to invade the city of Rafah. Former Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich shares his thoughts on the Biden administration's callous indifference toward the crisis at the U.S. Southern border. Co-host of “The Big Money Show” Taylor Riggs explains why ‘shrinkflation' has become more prevalent in the U.S. PLUS, North Carolina Republican Congressman Greg Murphy talks about how Biden should be focused on bringing American hostages held captive by Hamas back home, not caving to the demands of anti-Israel protesters on college campuses. The White House correspondents dinner was filled with lowlights this weekend. Colin Jost and his grandpa think Biden is a "decent" man. Insults were hurled at Lara trump and Biden gave his marching orders to the press. Forget about the infuriatingly awful job he's done as president and just keep writing about how "fiery" his speeches are. Protests on college campuses have become confrontational and violent as hateful rhetoric continues to be spread from Islamist sympathizers. Speaker Johnson is placating to the liberal media again instead of focusing on closing our country's border. The border invasion has a new wave of illegal aliens using "adverse possession" laws to seize U.S. homes. Many take to Tik Tok to teach other illegal aliens how to accomplish this. Rep. Dan Meuser is taking a stand against this new dilemma with his SHIELD initiative. Rep. Meuser sits down with Sean today to discuss the border, SHIELD, government funding and Kristi Noem's dog? National Press Secretary for Vivek Ramaswamy Caroline Sunshine gives her take on the disruptive anti-Israel protests taking place at Columbia University. A new bill in Congress would stop illegal aliens from squatting in U.S. homes. “We're trying to get out in front of it to protect American homeowners,” Rep. Dan Meuser, R-Pa., says.Leonel Moreno, an illegal immigrant from Venezuela, recently went viral on social media after a video post explaining how to take advantage of squatting laws in the U.S. Under U.S. law, Moreno told his followers that “if a house is not inhabited, we can seize it.” In response to the video, and growing reports over illegal aliens squatting in homes in New York and his state of Pennsylvania, Meuser introduced the Safeguarding Homes from Illegal Entry, Living, and Dwelling Act, or the SHIELD Act. The bill makes trespassing “a deportable crime,” Meuser says. “So if an illegal were to claim squatter rights and enter an individual's home illegally without any rental paperwork or legitimate lease” then, Meuser says “they can be arrested and deported and prohibited from ever entering the United States again.”Meuser joins “The Daily Signal Podcast” to discuss the growing need for the SHIELD Act, and what, if anything, he anticipates President Joe Biden will do to address growing concern over the crisis at the southern border. The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Episode (10/23/2023): 3:05pm- In a new editorial, center-left writer Matthew Yglesias argues that retail theft has become professionalized. Kingsway Regional School District in Kingsway, New Jersey, has adopted a ‘tiered' policy for classifying students who want to transition without their parent's knowledge. ‘I had one of my students reach out to me about their preferred name for next year. Do we know how we can input their name into Genesis without it being visible by families?' states an email from School counselor Fallon Corcoran to counselor Michael Schiff, referencing Genesis, a student database. A source within the school recorded Fallon stating, ‘I am not calling home...everything we talk about stays between us.' According to emails obtained to OMG, Kingsway Regional has developed a tiered ranking system to classify students. Students in the second tier are allowed to use the gender and name of their choice, and that information is kept from parents. In one email we obtained, a teacher or school counselor writes that they ‘heard from [redacted] student over the summer with questions about sharing her preferred name and pronouns with teachers but does not want her family to be aware.' We reached out to Kingsway Regional Superintendent James Lavender, who said the policy was handed down to the district by the New Jersey department of education.” You can watch the video associated with the message here: https://x.com/JamesOKeefeIII/status/1714443734157316227?s=20 5:50pm- House majority whip Tom Emmer is viewed by many as the frontrunner to win the Republican nomination for speaker. Rep. Dan Meuser sounds the alarm on the weaponization of the SEC and by the agency delaying mergers like Truth Social. The New York Congressman argues that it's not Donald Trump that's being hurt but rather everyday Americans who put a little bit of their pension money or personal money and are being kept on ice and prevented from making money on their investment for over a year, because “a tax-payer funded agency” is playing politics.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
