On February 3, 2010, Janteyl Johnson left school early because she wasn't feeling well, or so we thought. At just 15 years old, Janteyl was 5-months pregnant, but she had the full support of her family and she was very excited about learning the sex of the baby soon. When her brother arrived to pick Janteyl up that afternoon for a church function, she wasn't there. But the front door was unlocked- which was very unusual- and Janteyl's purse and eyeglasses were on the countertop. Janteyl was nowhere to be found. Where is Janteyl Danielle Johnson?? Our guest, Danielle Johnson, Executive Director of the Texas Scholastic Esports Federation, shares how esports is not just about gaming but about boosting student engagement, improving academic performance, and building a more inclusive school community. Esports are rapidly growing in schools across the country. The reasons are not only that they are fun but they are making a positive impact on a generation of students whose favorite sport is video games. If you're skeptical, we'll speak to your concerns as well.  Tune in to discover why esports might just be the missing piece in your educational toolkit and how you can start a program at your school. They will work with you to help your district accept your transcript for licensure renewal hours. Edge U Badges has former teachers review every single badge within 1-3 business days of submission, and no badge is ever denied without very specific feedback on what you can do to resubmit successfully or positive feedback on successful submissions. DANIELLE JOHNSONHelloooo and welcome back to the Montana Diaries Podcast, I'm Shayna and I'm so freaking stoked you're here because on today's episode we have the incredibllleeee Danielle Johnson, a blogging + SEO queenie who basically gave us a freaking masterclass during this podcast episode. Danielle is a wedding photographer turned blogging expert for creative business owners — she calls herself the “solution to your ‘shit, i should really work on my blogging' problem” and that's the most beautiful thing I've ever heard. She's magic. This might be my favorite episode of the pod…ever? I'm not kidding, it completely embodied everything I ever wanted for this podcast haha — I feel like I put Danielle through the ringer, but she was so game — it was a trojan horse of “come talk about blogging and SEO!” except, more like, “unpack your self growth journey and purity culture trauma and then also give me a 40 minute personalized business coaching session.” Ha!! All kidding aside, Danielle BROUGHT IT with the tangible step-by-step instructions on the anatomy of an SEO-friendly blog post and every. single. creative. business. owner. NEEDS. THIS. EPISODE!I also want to tell you at the top here that Danielle now offers blogging templates in her shop and she was kind enough to give Montana Diaries listeners a discount code! Head over to defycreativeco.com to check out the services and shop her offers, and use code MONTANADIARIES at checkout. The link is also in the shownotes if you want to come back to it later. I got early access to a few of the templates and they're golddddd — not even kidding, it saved me hours of time to use Danielle's template instead of fumbling around on my own. This girl knows her shit. I'm going to be the goober using my own discount code to buy all of them this winter, not going to lie. Okey that's enough me time for now, let's get into the episode. Danielle's InstagramDanielle's Website FREEBIE: 50 Free Blog Post Ideas!FREEBIE: SEO Anatomy of a Post!GET 20% OFF DEFY CREATIVE TEMPLATES w/ CODE “MONTANADIARIES”FREE CLASS FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS! https://www.montanadiaries.com/learnvideo SIGN UP FOR 1X1 MENTOR CALLS: https://www.montanadiaries.com/coachingThanks for listening to the Montana Diaries Podcast!! Danielle Johnson is an executive coach, leadership consultant, and the Founder of Cannon Leadership Group. Her work is focused on helping entrepreneurs and high-performing leaders define and achieve what's possible for them. Danielle has spent the past two decades coaching high performers and leading global and regional business organizations across high tech, retail, and finance industries. She has built a reputation with clients for being relationship-centric, intuitive, and masterful at knowing when to push outside of their comfort zones. Danielle received her executive coaching certifications from the Hudson Institute of Coaching and the Coaches Training Institute, and she has a systemic team coaching certification from the Global Team Coaching Institute. In addition, she holds a PCC accreditation from the International Coaching Federation, the most rigorous and respected in the industry. As someone who thrives in personal and professional growth, her ideal day typically starts with a great French press and something that challenges her mind. Often asked what led her to coaching, Danielle will tell you that nothing lights her on fire more than witnessing another person showing up with her whole heart, leading with love, passion, excitement, and purpose to do something they have always dreamed of. In this episode… How often do you give your team feedback? Is your feedback driven by your own insecurities or is it for the benefit of the employee? Having worked with many leaders through one-on-one coaching and group training, Danielle Johnson advises leaders to create an authentic company culture that gives employees the room and tools to grow. Constructive feedback is a great starting point. Employees desire to work in an environment where they feel safe and are given the opportunity to explore their leadership potential. She, therefore, advises leaders to build trust with their team and give praise where it is due. Danielle Johnson, the Founder of Cannon Leadership Group, joins Andrea Heuston in this episode of the Lead Like A Woman Show to talk about strategies for creating an empowered, motivated, and deeply connected workforce. Danielle discusses her process for working with clients, shares the benefits of giving feedback, and explains what a coaching culture means.

Hey friends! Thanks for helping me to stay on purpose! This week I wanted to talk about contracts. I know, I know, contracts are never sexy and nobody enjoys reading them (not even lawyers!), but contracts are so important especially when entering into a professional relationship with someone or partnering with them on a business/project. If you have a contract in place what does it include and does it serve in your favor? Although you should always have a trusted attorney like myself review a contract before you sign, if you decide to use a template from the internet or draft your own, you should understand how to make sure you are protected now to avoid having to worry about going to court later. To help ensure your coin goes to your business and not litigation, I let you guys in on some key things a contract should include and what you should be looking for when one is presented to you. Ok so I am sooooooo excited for this episode because I had the pleasure of interviewing an awesome friend of mine, Danielle Johnson! A talented and gifted powerhouse, Danielle is a singer, entrepreneur, gospel and worship leader, has her own nail polish line, has produced her own album, and so much more! Talk about #goals! Sooooo many gems were dropped during our conversation so I hope you guys are ready! For real you might want to take some notes lol! Having come from two hardworking parents, one of which grew up in the Jim Crow era, it's no surprise as to what has led Danielle to be so ambitious and successful in everything she does. Many women would agree that we tend to put everything and everyone else above ourselves while trying to do it all, but Danielle brings us to church by sharing how she overcame addiction, depression, past trauma, and life's struggles as a whole, while keeping the momentum going in her business endeavors, marriage, and journey of self improvement. Her faith based business, Worship in My City, has helped remind herself and others that self love, faith in God, and your "WHY" is all the motivation you need to be successful and love the life you live!
