In diesem Jahr tasten wir uns an den Text aus dem Propheten Sacharja ran, der für die Christnacht vorgeschlagen ist. Zu Gast haben wir unseren Freund und Kollegen Holger Pyka. Die aktuellen Wirtschaftsnachrichten mit Michael Weyland   Thema heute:    Feuergefahr in der Adventszeit: So sind Verbraucher richtig abgesichert - Bund der Versicherten e. V. (BdV) erklärt, welche Policen jetzt besonders wichtig sind   DEN Reim kennen wir alle: Advent, Advent, ein Lichtlein brennt. Erst eins, dann zwei, dann drei, dann vier, dann steht das Christkind vor der Tür". Und wenn es ganz dumm läuft, dann steht auch die Feuerwehr vor der Tür. Draußen wird es früher dunkel – drinnen sorgen Kerzen, Lichterketten und Co. für gemütliches Licht. Doch was Behaglichkeit schafft, kann schnell gefährlich werden. „Wenn Weihnachtsdekoration Feuer fängt, ist keineswegs sicher, dass die Versicherung den Schaden vollständig ersetzt. Kerzen oder andere offene Flammen sollten daher niemals unbeaufsichtigt bleiben“, sagt man beim Bund der Versicherten e. V. (BdV). Um im Ernstfall finanziell geschützt zu sein, zählen die Privathaftpflicht-, die Wohngebäude- und bei hochwertiger Einrichtung auch die Hausratversicherung zu den wichtigsten Absicherungen. Gerät der Weihnachtsbaum in Brand und verursacht zusätzlich Schäden in der Nachbarwohnung, springt die Privathaftpflichtversicherung ein – vorausgesetzt, der Schaden wurde etwa durch Fahrlässigkeit ausgelöst. Die empfohlene Deckungssumme liegt bei mindestens 15 Millionen Euro pauschal für Sach-, Personen- und Vermögensschäden. Wer auf diesen Versicherungsschutz verzichtet, riskiert im Schadenfall hohe Zahlungsverpflichtungen, da man mit dem eigenen Einkommen und Vermögen haftet. Für Mieter spielt die Privathaftpflichtversicherung eine zentrale Rolle – insbesondere, wenn Mietsachen durch einen solchen Brand beschädigt werden. Dazu zählen fest verbaute Bestandteile wie Böden, Einbauküchen oder Badewannen. „Mieterinnen und Mieter sollten prüfen, ob ihre Privathaftpflichtversicherung Mietsachschäden in ausreichender Höhe abdeckt – auch an Gebäuden, Grundstücken und Wohnräumen“, sagt der BdV. Für Eigentümer ist eine Wohngebäudeversicherung unverzichtbar, da sie die Kosten für Reparatur oder Wiederaufbau nach Feuer- oder Löschwasserschäden am Gebäude übernimmt. Das gilt beispielsweise für Türen, Wände oder fest verklebte Parkettböden. Die Hausratversicherung kommt für Schäden durch Feuer oder Löschwasser auf, die am beweglichen Inventar entstehen – also beispielsweise an Möbeln, Kleidung oder auch Geschenken. Eine solche Police ist sinnvoll, wenn der Hausrat nicht ohne Weiteres aus eigenen Mitteln ersetzt werden könnte, ohne den Lebensstandard zu gefährden. Damit Versicherte im Schadenfall keine Kürzungen ihrer Hausrat- oder Wohngebäudeversicherung hinnehmen müssen, sollten ihre Verträge einen Verzicht auf den sogenannten Einwand der grob fahrlässigen Herbeiführung des Versicherungsfalls enthalten   Diesen Beitrag können Sie nachhören oder downloaden unter:

Born in 1948 in Detroit , Michigan, I've lived in in the metro Detroit area my whole life (except for a short two year stint in Rapid City, South Dakota in 1980). I was a good Catholic boy and attended Catholic school then went on to the University of Detroit. I'm married to Joan and we have six children. My nickname is "Whitey" … now before you make a snap judgment about that name, it has nothing to do with race. Originally it had to do with the Bowery Boys. My brother Bob was nicknamed "Sach," also a Bowery boy. As the name continued to follow me, it evolved into the color of my skin. I am two shades darker than an albino! If we somehow had control over who our parents were – who we were born to – what choices would we have made? Would we want to be born in the same socio-economic condition? Would we want the same Mother, Father, and relatives? Would we want to live in the same state or even the same country? Would we have wanted to be Black or White? For those of us who believe, this birth was in God's plan. Heck, my Mother always said that my propensity to have a protruding stomach was due to the Heath side of her family. No sit-ups could ever conquer that condition. I personally always thought it was due to the amount of beer I used to drink! But anyway, the point is why do we put so much emphasis on what people look like? They had no choice in the matter. It always troubled me that kids would be teased even to the point of bullying because of what they looked like. As former Dean of Students at Brother Rice High School, I would emphatically explain to the perpetrators the error of their thinking and acting. I worked for over thirty years in an affluent high school where the students had everything they needed and wanted. One student drove a Maserati to school. Another was often late because his valet service was slow in bringing his car up to the house in the morning. As with Cookie, I grew up getting most of what I needed and very little of what I wanted. My point is this: so f-ing what!!??!! Those were the cards that we were dealt. Life is learning how to make the best of the blessings we were given and to use the opportunities that presented themselves. Hier nur kurz wie in der Folge besprochen der angedrohte Paragraph §433 BGB: Paragraph 433 regelt die typischen Pflichten aus einem Kaufvertrag: Der Verkäufer muss dem Käufer die Sache übergeben und Eigentum daran verschaffen, frei von Sach- und Rechtsmängeln. Im Gegenzug ist der Käufer verpflichtet, die Sache abzunehmen und den vereinbarten Kaufpreis zu zahlen. Another mad week in our world! I've been a tourist in my home city and watched a play which I know these two wouldn't appreciate! Kej went to the first game of the season for his beloved Spurs hoping they'll lift the cup and meanwhile Sach just wants to lift a decent mug! There's a genius kid that needs celebrating and the things we learnt! 

Sach's house is a crime scene, my hotel room was a potential murder scene and Kej is giving speeches about life to 80 year olds! Plus is there a heatwave going on or is this just “summer”? And there's talk about Jaya Bachchan kicking off all the time as well as the rise in fake weddings!

It's all going off… cheating couples getting caught out at Coldplay concerts, Kej getting run over by an Indian on a bicycle, Sach and I have got supermarket issues and I'm offending old ladies! The third heatwave of the summer has come and gone! Kej (and his ledge) reckon there's another heatwave coming! There's also been Desi's having massive picnics in the park, Sach has got news of a new (and bloomin expensive) salad at Pret and all the brown celebs were at Wimbledon! Was it for the tennis or for something else?

Sorry Miss! We are late but we got there in the end! It's been a mad week of festivals, rooftop parties and celebrity encounters! Sach has been sentencing people on jury service and Kej has found a certain toilet roll company guilty of crimes against Asian representation! (Again!)

This podcast felt a little dreamy! I'd had two hours sleep and was joining the boys for a spaced out chat! Luckily Kej & Sach were on good form! Sach has got a list of the best cities around the world for food and Kej has been putting brown into the Isle of Wight!
