Do we have a doozy for you today! I am here sans Rob & Kevin, but not alone. Joined by some old friends from my days of wanting to be a rapper, first we have Josh Dahlquist aka Beige or nowyoureshattered on socials. Stick-and-poke tattoo master based out of the Seattle area. Beige is the lead vocalist of the group Triceracorn with producer IG88 aka Branden Clarke, who is guest number 2 on today's episode. The Bran Man is a wonderful producer and video game sound designer who you may recognize from five previous episodes.Guest #3 is none other than the swarthy pen wielding producer, Chance Random aka Kaleb Gubernik. Besides making some of the most intentional music in the Pacific Northwest, Kaleb is an amazing author writing short stories on his social media that are a beautiful screenshot of moments often overlooked and under appreciated in our daily lives. Our final guest is the wonderful Spike Daely. Linguistic expert and world traveler, Spike has used his abundance of life experiences to create some of the most intricate lyrics I've ever heard. We've got a few songs for you throughout the episode from our wonderful guests, as well as some brand new products! So stay tuned til the end. You can find all the social media and music links to these gentleboiz' work in the episode description. And make sure you go back through the Nostalgia Pit of old, and listen to the close to 10 episodes that these dudes have previously helped contribute to. After a lengthy delay, IDW's Star Wars Adventures #5 is finally out, bringing with a fresh crop of writers (Katie Cook and Casey Gilly), along with artists Cara McGee and Butch Mapa, colorists Britanny Peer and Charlie Kirchoff and letterers Jake M. Wood and Johanna Nattalie. Combined, both creative teams deliver a pair of separte yet superb stories, with the first focused on Padme and Anakin and the second on Wilhuff Tarkin who, perhaps seeing his younger self, offers career advice to an up and coming officer in the only way he knows how.In Darth Vader #13, writer Greg Pak, artist Rafelle Ienco, colorist Jason Keith and letter Joe Caramagna provide a tale focused on a newly cowed Sith lord that not only ties into the War of the Bounty Hunters event yet sets the stage for an intriguing power play yet to come.Upcoming Star Wars comics include:June 30_ Doctor Aphra #11_ The High Republic #6_ Star Wars Adventures: The Weapon of a Jedi #2 (of 2)July 7_ Bounty Hunters #14_ Star Wars Adventures #6_ Star Wars Legends: The Old Republic Omnibus Vol. 1July 14_ Doctor Aphra #12_ War of the Bounty Hunters #2 (of 5)_ The Phantom Menace Graphic Novel Adaptation (IDW)July 21_ The High Republic Adventures #6_ Star Wars Adventures #7_ Darth Vader #14_ War of the Bounty Hunters — Jabba the Hutt #1 (One-Shot)July 28_ Star Wars #15_ Star Wars Adventures #7_ The High Republic #7_ Star Wars Legends Epic Collection: The Marvel Years, Vol. 5 TPBAug. 4_ Star Wars Adventures #8_ Bounty Hunters #15_ War of the Bounty Hunters: 4-LOM & Zuckuss #1 (One-Shot)Aug. 11 _ The High Republic #8_ War of the Bounty Hunters #3 (of 5)_ The Monster of Temple Peak #1 (of 4)_ The High Republic, Vol. 1, “There Is No Fear” TPB_ Doctor Aphra (Vol. 2), Vol. 2, “The Engine Job” TPBAug. 14 (Free Comic Book Day)_ Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures Free Comic Book Day Issue_ The High Republic: The Edge of Balance/Guardians of the Whills FCBD IssueAug. 18 _ Star Wars Adventures #9 _ Star Wars #16_ The High Republic Adventures #7Aug. 25_ Darth Vader #15 _ Doctor Aphra #13Sept. 1_ Star Wars Adventures #10Sept. 8_ The High Republic: Edge of Balance (Manga)Sept. 15_ Star Wars Adventures: Smuggler's Run TPBSept. 29_ Star Wars Adventures (Vol. 2), “The Light & the Dark” TPBOct. 20_ Darth Vader (Vol. 2) OmnibusOct. 26_ Darth Vader (Vol. 3), Vol. 3 TPB (Collects #12-16)Oct. 27_ The High Republic Adventures, Vol. 1, TPB_ Star Wars Episodes IV-IX Adaptation Box Set (IDW)Nov. 3 _ Star Wars Legends: Rise of the Sith OmnibusNov. 9_ War of the Bounty Hunters TPB (Collects Alpha #1, War of the Bounty Hunters 1-5)_ War of the Bounty Hunters Companion TPB (Collects Jabba, IG-88, Boussh, 4-LOM & Zuckuss)Nov. 10_ Star Wars Legends Boba Fett: Blood Ties TPBNov. 16_ Star Wars (Vol. 3), Vol. 3 TPB (Collects #13-18)Nov. 23 _ Bounty Hunters, Vol. 3, TPB (Collecting #12-17)Nov. 30_ Star Wars: The High Republic, Vol. 2, TPB (Collects #6-10) _ Doctor Aphra (Vol. 2), Vol. 3, TPB (Collects #11-15)Dec. 7_ Attack of the Clones Graphic Novel Adaptation from IDW

Not every STAR WARS was a blockbuster smash. The Saturday morning cartoon show STAR WARS: DROIDS, starring Anthony Daniels as C-3PO and R2-D2 as himself, only lasted one season, despite featuring huge cameos from popular characters like Boba Fett and IG-88, and tons of ideas, vehicles, planets and even podraces which would eventually turn up in the prequel trilogy! It was co-created by Oscar-winning sound designer Ben Burtt, and featured a theme song by Stewart Copeland from The Police! That's pretty cool, so maybe - just maybe - STAR WARS: DROIDS was... It turns out that caves on Hoth are still dangerous, no matter how cozy they appear to be. Dr. Ravencourt and Todd continue t press their luck on Hoth, avoiding a bounty from the Bothan Associate. Today's lecture is the deadliest droid in the galaxy, the famous IG-88.
We are luckily enough to talk to propmaster and creator of IG-88, William Hargreaves. Not only did he create one of the most recognizable droid bounty hunter, who incidentally could not move, listen to find out why, but he also worked on other blockbusters like Alien. Enjoy!

Shattered Order Podcast: Ep. 26 Friday, 12/31/2016 Hosts Dan, GoodNightPunk Michael, WinKILLERinc Show Notes Tournament Thoughts! 24 hour tournaments New Prices! Thoughts. Mini-Updates: January Daily Login Character: Finn Jyn tournament returning on January 9th (Monday to Tuesday) Cassian Andor’s ship tournament went away. Unsure why, but possible because of backlash although I doubt it. Ship required Cassian, Jyn, K2SO to use. Excluded all IOS users already due to K2 being pilot (which makes sense) But alos excluded all those that didn’t place top 100 in Cass/Jyn tournaments or bought the $100 pack. Possibly low amount of people participating because of these things pushed the tournament and release of his ship back. iOS users rejoice! Your want for K2SO has been granted! K2SO replaced Baze in shard shop for a limited time! There was very little rejoicing. Droids Fight Back Event updates Still requires Droids Now has 7 Tiers (Including a Bonus Tier) Same setup as K2SO event for Android All Jawas are available as rewards now instead of just Jawa, Dathcha. Equal chance to get shards of any of the 5 Shard shop for me, great for those still grinding. Tiers above 60 re-balanced for mods. Each Tier has 3 encounters now, instead of 1. Tiers 1-6 require 3 droids (Easy if you have IG88, IG86, HK47) Tier 7 (Bonus Tier) requires 5 droids. Tough to do with seven total droids overall. B2, Grevious, IG88, IG86, HK47, K2SO, IG100 First event to use the new “Style Guide” for Event descriptions and Naming. Probably not a game changing thing, but I’m intrigued. It Came From Reddit (Dev Comments) Capital Method (Raid Guy) Quiet this week, 2 months. Capgasp (Event Guy) Someone asked for a character acquisition plan, to know where and when characters may be released to farmable areas. I like the idea but seems impossible to implement. Capgasp mentioned talking to Kozispoon and Jesse about speaking about these things in general terms in updates so people know if SOMEONE may be going to a shipment area or something else a while before it happens. Made no promises thought. JE AI Revives were asked about. Mainly why he’ll use his revive if a non-droid toon dies and waste it. Said that “All "revives" are technically the same under the hood. This one just has a special subclass of targets (Droids). The AI is functioning as it was designed to, in that an ally is dead therefore it's okay to use the revive. The AI has no way at current to know that its revive won't work.” Insight into class tags Said that adding a second tag to characters that seem to fit several classes would “Break Many Things”. Someone asked for General Leia or to Zeta Princess Leia Capgasp mentioned everyone is on vacation and can’t just create a character out of thin air as it takes many weeks. But said that hopefully they could do something appropriate to honor her memory when everyone returns. As usual very active the past two weeks. Thanks! HiddenSpring84 (Client Guy) Someone asked about the problem with abilities not taking up the top 50% of the information window and being cut off at the bottom Said it should be fixed in an upcoming patch because it’s not acting as it’s intended. SWpewpew (Sound Guy) Nothing since ships implementation. He worked on the awesome music and band in the Ships room. CG_Conduit (Character Guy) Nothing new this week. Finn Update: Poe Dameron: Resistance Trooper:

Pros: tm with thermal, Asajj crazy fast and always buff, crit damage... from guildmate: Bedor Do you think that if we get enough redditors to sign a petition to balance mods away from speed being the singular stat needed, they would listen? What’s a snowball’s chance in hell? Should I farm Baze from the Shard Shop? Eh. Yoda or Plo to G11 first? -John on twitter. Attempting first T7 Monday! Yoda because he can be super awesome against the Rancor! If done correctly, your entire time can have foresight before the Rancors first turn, works well in P2-4. One of our most successful early teams used this strategy. Also use him before rancor drops below 50% health. Is it better to level up or star up ships? Is there a point where you should switch? Rule of thumb: 10 levels = 1* level Level to the point that abilities can be upgraded, usually have significant bonuses in level 3 or 4 (this can apply to toons also!) Ship strategies: Use Seize the Advantage first with AA, especially if he’s one of your fastest ships (this is all TFP coming out of reserve since he has no protection and gets foresight Use lower health ships in reserve, guarantees that they get an attack in Target weakest enemy with AA’s AOE when you have buffed allies What is the best Capital ship? Home One is a Home Run! Which of the 3 toons is your most geared? When does turn order matter?! Matters only when one toon has an ability that enhances what the next toon can do. Examples: getting bonus from debuffs, bonuses for certain amounts of TM, defense down, ability block on toons like B2 before an AOE, O up before main attackers go, crit chance up, O down before AOE on counter toons, etc. Short attack window Talk about fight mechanics order. Several suggestions are: sun fac's unique applying debuffs on attack (not hit), so it can apply through foresight; the difference between rey's foresight (on hit) vs tfp's at the end of the turn (rey cannot be counter hit, tfp can be); what happens when two characters have 100% tm (e.g. st han taunts, one of the team hits shore and the opposing b2 gets 100% tm, who goes first?), etc. Safe to attack counter toon with Rey, not with TFP: except SunFac, can still debuff Rey and give crit % down Multiple toons with 100% TM becomes random order! That is why manipulating speed for turn order can be important. What about someone getting full TM when multiple others already have full? Could you guys please discuss Rebel, Droid, and Jawa ideal turn orders. Aside from St. Han/JE modded to go first? -Nirokogaseru Droids: (JE first, obviously) Ideally, HK -> IG88 -> IG86 -> Nebit or whoever else Nebit’s assist should be after droids have used to TM Debuffs give a ton of extra damage to IG88, IG88 will give defense down to help out IG86 Always want a debuffer going ahead of IG88 Useful toons for that: Old Ben, HK, Boba, TFP, EP, Phasma, etc. (HK only logical one in a droid team) Rebel’s Han Solo, want him to go first to stun. {Rimshot} Him going early can give crit chance up. AA before Lando or Biggs can be huge! If going against B2, use Biggs or Leia before anyone who does an AOE Everyone go before SRP to get full advantage of ™ Jawa’s

After playing a little dream interpretation theater with Pax, we continue a discussion that started on the Cavalcade of Awesome about those Star Wars characters that are immensely popular yet had very little to do in the movies. You know who were talking about: Admiral Ackbar, R5-D4, the bounty hunters from Empire, and even Darth Maul. What is it about the Star Wars universe or fandom that has led to these characters being fan favorites and will Jeeg have his nerd card revoked for even asking this question? In this week's Nerd To-Do's, we learn about an epic quest to watch all 700 episodes of a TV show and hear what lengths Pax will go to watch the unreleased Solomon Kane movie.

This week I'm on my own again right before my trip back to NY for the 4th of July week. I'm starting off with the big bad Blizzard announcement, which leads into some ideas on reviving and evolving retro games, as well as success and failure of other game sequels. From there I talk about two major recent U.S. Supreme Court decisions and what I think about the issues each one affected. This week's show title may seem random, but it's actually directly related to something I mention in the show. Enjoy!Opening Music: "Alright" by Flower Of CablesClosing Music: "Blau.ton" by Rauschwerk
