Darrell Castle talks about his perceived collapse of American command leadership or command presence and what that means to America, NATO, and the West in general. Transcription / Notes THE COLLAPSE OF COMMAND AUTHORITY IN THE WEST Hello this is Darrell Castle with today's Castle Report. This is the 3rd day of September 2021, and this is Labor Day Weekend when we get 3 days away from work to celebrate work. I will be talking about what I perceive to be the collapse of American command leadership or command presence as the Marine officers would say it, and what that means to America, NATO, and the West in general. The Castle Family is still in good health as far as we know and looking forward to Labor Day Weekend when we will have 3 days away from work. Ribs will be cooking on the Castle grill on Monday, but the real excitement is that the family daughter will leave her safe haven in Los Angeles and head to Germantown to be with her parents' next weekend. We haven't seen her in almost 2 years, so we are very excited. I will put this in very common terms to start and that is that Joe Biden has lost his Mojo, his command presence. That means America has lost its Mojo as well because to the rest of the world right now Joe Biden is America. He is especially America to Communist China, North Korea, Iran, Russia, and to Islamic Jihadists around the world. You've probably heard the adage that power abhors a vacuum and in this case something or somebody will step in to fill the vacuum left by the collapse at the top of the American Institutions upon which American and Western safety and security depend. The Washington power establishment made up of the intelligence, security, diplomatic, and military which project American command and authority around the world are in a state of almost complete collapse. You can bet the farm that the rest of the world is noticing. This collapse has been brought to the forefront by the debacle in Afghanistan, but the rot has been eating at the foundations for some time. The debacle in Kabul gave the world and especially America a chance to see Joe Biden for what he really is, and that is a cold, calculating, uncaring, unfeeling, self-important, egotistical, and most of all incompetent leader. The world sees him and no amount of spin by the New York Times or protection from his sycophants in social media can change that. The leaders of the world have a full on, up close and personal look and what they see has changed the perception of America in the worlds' eyes perhaps forever. NATO allies who had fought with us in Afghanistan for 20 years under the 9/11 accords of one for all found out that means exactly nothing to the President of the United States. They even resorted to begging at times pleading with the leader of the free world to please extend the August 31st deadline for the withdrawal of American troops. The allies cared about their people who would be left and trapped there at the tender mercy of the Taliban, but Joe Biden did not care, not one little bit. NATO called an emergency G7 summit of the leaders of the most powerful countries in the world in an effort to extend the deadline, but the President said no. When Churchill became so desperate for supplies that he had to go to Roosevelt hat in hand the President did not refuse or embarrass him, but instead found a way to help him in the struggle against NAZI Germany. The allies of all the NATO countries now know that Joe Biden does not give one little whit about them, their people, and much worse, his own people. In fact, thanks to Joe Biden, the Taliban are now a better armed nation than virtually all NATO countries. He left those people there. America left its own people in harm's way, turned its back, and ran in the cowardly fashion that has become the trademark of this President. It is far more than embarrassing because it is disgraceful, unthinkable, disgusting, and cowardly and an insult to every person who has ever worn the uniform.

Sometimes, the guests I get on the show are photographers I stumble upon while browsing the web, sometimes they are part of some bigger organization that introduces me to them, and on a rare occasion they are a suggestion from a someone that watches the show. He retired from photojournalism several years ago and is now giving back teaching others to take their photography to the next level. He is a delightful personality and a very giving photog." One look at his website and I knew I needed to get Essdras on the show. Essdras Suarez is a two-time Pulitzer Prizewinning photojournalist, and being a photojournalist isn't what many people think. In one interview, Essdras explained that "as a newspaper photographer you were expected to wear many hats. In addition to being a photojournalist, you were expected to be a travel photographer, documentary photographer, food and product photographer, and a portrait photographer, among other things". With that background, he can shoot pretty much anything. If you ask him though, his favorite overall subject is people. It's in that space I think his superpower lies. He has an ability to make that which is normal look extraordinary. His career has included covering the war in Iraq, the Columbia Shuttle disaster in 2003, a U.S. backed military coup against Haitian president Jean Bertrand Aristide, the Indonesia Tsunami in 2004, the Gaza Strip Evacuation in 2006, the Newtown Elementary school shooting in 2012, and the Boston Marathon Bombing in 2013. Essdras has seen a lot in his over 20 years in the field. He continues to work for outlets such as the Washington Post and ZUMA Press Agency, and his images have been published in publications such as Mother Jones, The Guardian, The Wall Street Journal, Time Magazine, Boston Globe, New York Times. Essdras' list of awards is long, and fully reflects his talent in telling a story in a very special way. This also explains the two Pulitzers. As a sought after speaker and educator, he now also shares his knowledge with others through his EMS Photo Adventures LLC, where he is focused on creating and leading educationally geared, on-site and virtual custom photo programs including educational webinars, and short- and long-term mentorship programs. That’s the conclusion drawn by Derrick White, a professor of history at the University of Kentucky and author of the book, ““Blood, Sweat and Tears: Jake Gaither, Florida A & M, and the History of Black College Football.” White says Black colleges were out-performing white colleges in the 1940s and ‘50s, producing better athletes. But then, desegregation happened. Mao Tse Tung, the father of the Chinese Revolution and the late leader of the Chinese Communist Party, famously warned that “capitalist roaders” within the Party were determined to turn the country capitalist. A new book by Zhun Xu, a professor of Economics at Howard University, says history has proven Chairman Mao to have been right. Prof. Xu’s book is titled, “From Commune to Capitalism: How China’s Peasants Lost Collective Farming and Gained Urban Poverty.”  For decades, the Malcolm X Center for Self-Determination has fought on the side of the oppressed in Greenville, South Carolina, and the world. However, the bill collectors may be about to shut the center down, and silence its radio station, WMXP. We spoke with the Center’s director, veteran activist Efia Nwangaza. The U.S. corporate media report almost nothing from the Syrian side in the 8-year-long war against US-backed Islamic Jihadists. Instead, corporate media parrot the version of events put out by the US government and its allies. The European media also black out the views of the Syrian government. Steven Sa-he-ou-ni is a Syrian American, and chief editor of the political journal MidEast Discourse. Sa-he-ou-ni recently appeared on the Taylor Report, on Canadian radio. Sa-he-ou-ni said the Italians are also censoring the news from Syria.

I know this is kind of a perennial topic for me, but I think it is so important! Our culture, our “hyper civilized” way of life has become just that- hyper civilized, meaning civilized to too great of a degree; think “sissified”… The vast majority of people in Western world civilized cultures go to work, sit at a desk or drive around in a car, and even if they work out in a gym for an hour or so a few times per week- they don’t do much real work. And they never have!! This is in marked contrast to previous generations, even here in America. Even in my generation, hard work was part of your childhood, something that was just a “given”. And in generations previous to my own, it was way, way harder. I don’t mean there is something wonderful about working yourself really hard physically, just that we have gotten to the point where almost no one expects to work hard, ever. And this is not good, not good at all. I think a lot of it has to do with our government, which has become an “entitlement government”, that tells everyone that they are “disadvantaged”, or any number of excuses, and then offers to be the correction of that injustice. In other words, they are offering you “free stuff”, with no work involved. If you fall for this, you might feel great about yourself since you are instantly “politically correct”. But, you have fallen into a horrible trap- we all need to work hard, we need it mentally, and physically as well! All work and no fun may indeed make Johnny a dull boy, but all lying around like a slug in front of a screen will make Johnny a - worthless, fat, loser! I don’t mean to sound contentious, but we have become “hyper civilized”, and to more savage, primitive cultures (like the Islamic Jihadists) we are decadent; ripe for the plucking! They want to impose their ancient, 9th century way of life upon us, which includes makaey support such ideas?? Because they are so caught up in political correctness, the very “fashionable” notion of it, that they cannot stop themselves from constant endorsement, in the face of the very evil of the side they are endorsing, to stop themselves! Remember the Paris court of Louis the 14th, where everything was about “fashion”, and the fashion of the time was about clothes, and elaborate lifestyles, while the people about them starved? Well now, the “fashion” of the moment is political correctness, being Left, accepting, letting people into out country, giving things to the “underprivileged”, and being accepting, not “mean” and “greedy”… Meanwhile, the working people are being taxed into a state lower than welfare recipients, and not being protected from borders not being enforced, which results in not really any longer even having a country! This is the state to which we have been reduced. To get back to topic: today I spent the entire afternoon and the evening burning brush! I did all that I could with the blade in the back of the tractor to push the brush into piles, but the bulk of the work was lifting the brush into a trailer behind the tractor, and then hauling it to the burn location, and then … unloading it to burn. Endless, hard, unrelenting, solo work. Right not, I think I will be hard-pressed to get out of bed tomorrow, but I know I will, since I will stretch myself out as I do each and every morning! My point is that- this is really good for me! It would be for you, too! Most of us spend our lives avoiding any type of hard, physical labor- even those of us that make a point of working out! This is a huge mistake, and turns us into a decadent type of people that are similar to the Paris court of Louis the 14th and his wife Marie Antoinette, who is very “Hillary Clinton-esque” to my mind.
