This week on The GTM Kickback, Kyle Rogers and I will be sat down, on LinkedIn Live, to chat about the new FTC Ban on Non-Competes across the US, and our thoughts on how this is going to effect the mobility of sales talent and GTM teams across the market. It's going to vastly change the ability of talent to work across competitive markets, technologies, and businesses - and if you're not accounting for this in your sales recruitment and retention plans, you're going to be putting yourself at a disadvantage.
Anyone who has spent time in a classroom can tell you about the value of student engagement. According to a recent Gallup poll, students who are engaged in their learning are 2.5 times more likely to say that they get excellent grades and do well in school. With 150 students now participating in the Stamford Agriscience Program, we learned why this type of instruction is so effective for local high schoolers. We spoke with Kyle Rogers, a sophomore in the program, as well as Virginia Cipolla, an Agriscience Teacher and the Program Coordinator for the Stamford Agriscience Program. Outbreaks of native bark beetles can lead to conspicuous changes in a forest landscape. They've been present for thousands of years with occasional outbreaks, but there's a lot we don't yet understand about them. Exactly when and where have outbreaks occurred? How severe were they? What happened to the forest afterward? How will a warming climate influence outbreaks? On this episode of Eyes on Earth, we hear from researchers Dr. Sarah Hart and Dr. Kyle Rogers, who use Landsat to help find answers to those questions. A recent study led by Dr. Rodman used Landsat to identify the locations and severity of bark beetle outbreaks in the southern Rocky Mountains. The researchers were surprised to find smaller areas of severe mortality than they expected. Landsat can even be used to help predict patterns of future outbreaks. Dr. Zhiliang Zhu, a USGS researcher, adds his perspective of the effects of forest disturbance as well.

One of the most interesting storylines to have prevailed from the pandemic has been around the phenomenal increase in online shopping and demand for certain products and materials. But two years in, and you might assume the challenges have been overcome, right? Not quite. In the 2021 peak shopping season retailers and other businesses are still apologising to their customers for being out of stock on certain items, or for items reaching them so long after they'd been ordered. Three experts lift the lid on the hurdles still being faced in the supply chain, logistics and industrial warehousing sectors, including everything from people shortages, to pallet shortages and an undersupply of warehouses. Guests: Greg Pike, head of industrial and logistics brokerage, Australia, JLL; Kyle Rogers, co-founder, uTenant and director of supply chain, Supply Chain and Logistics Association, Australia; and Chris Wang, chief operating officer, EWE Group. Host: Rebecca Kent, content director - Australia, JLL.
Our guest for this episode is Kyle Rogers who donated his kidney to save the life of his then 25-year-old daughter Kourtney. November is "National Donor Sabbath" month which focuses on further spreading the word with those in faith-based communities National Donor Sabbath is observed annually two weekends before Thanksgiving, from Friday through Sunday. This three-day observance seeks to include the days of worship for major religions practiced in the United States. During National Donor Sabbath, faith leaders from many religions, donor families, transplant recipients, and donation and transplantation professionals participate in services and programs to educate the public about the need for the lifesaving and healing gifts passed to others through transplantation, while also encouraging people to register their decision to be organ, eye and tissue donors. *SLIGHT LANGUAGE WARNING* Enjoy a look behind the scenes everyone. I flubbed a part of the beginning and we left it in for gits and shiggles. -Mr. pixel ------------------------------------------------------------ The body doesn't know a simulated experience from a real one. Dry fire is an excellent way for you to work on all the necessary skills that help build your kinetic techniques. When practicing dry fire or when out on the range, it's incredibly important for us to train the "right way". What is the right way? Decision-making during training is crucial: this is part of kinetic skill training and can be built into your dry fire. Pivoting draws at home: Have a clock in your house? You can dry fire! Face away from the clock, set a timer on your phone for 5 seconds. Once your phone goes off, look at the clock to determine if the second hand is about to be on an even or an odd number. If it's about to touch an even number, then draw and shoot while pivoting. If it's an odd number, don't even reach for your gun. You can choose to "shoot" the clock, or you can have another primary target. It's also a good idea to incorporate mag changes and secondary targets in this drill as well! This will help force you to assess your target before you reach for your firearm. Kyle Rogers Founder of First Shield Defense

Once or twice a year we do a show all about defensive gun use, as we feel the need to continually prove the main-stream media wrong when it comes to their rhetoric on how dangerous firearms are. Last year over 21 million firearms were purchased and 8.4 million of those were from first time gun owners. If 2020 proved anything, it was that the government wasn't going to save you and it was up to you and you alone to protect yourself - here are some of those stories. Enjoy! 2020 was a hard year. Everyone on the planet felt it's effects but I think it was a good wake up call for Americans as it showed them just how fragile the system really is. Hopefully this spawns a new generation of preppers but for those of us who were prepared, we still learned some valuable lessons and takeaways that we can use going forward - because I think we are going to need it. I think 2020 that was just the beginning. I believe we are in for a decade of hurt, especially if you value freedom over safety. So the lessons learned in 2020 will be needed in the years to come. On this podcast we have talked about timeline defense, we have talked about the 5 stages of a violent attack, we’ve talked about being situationally aware and being deliberate as we go about our day as to not be an easy victim – and if we are smart and if we are aware, we will most likely never need to use our firearm. But what if that doesn’t work. What if that low probability, high consequence event does occur? What can we expect? What does the data show? Let's find out. Enjoy! It's been a long time coming but today we are going to do a deep dive into Bitcoin. We all plan, prepare, and fantasize about the complete collapse of society, where there is no rule of law and how we are going to go back to a simpler time where it’s back to the barter system and a gold/silver standard - when in reality, we are probably going to be dealing with a very complicated, cyberpunk dystopian future where privacy is dead, all individuals are tracked, big tech controls the flow of information, cash is outlawed and everyone’s finances are scrutinized, and those deemed undesirables are locked out of the economy all together. Sounds a bit familiar right? Yeah, a lot of this is already happening now and it’s just going to get worse but Bitcoin fixes this and I’ll show you how in today's episode. Enjoy! This week the Reverend and Reprobate sit down with our friend Kyle Rogers to discuss too many things to list. We discuss how one of us had a Mastectomy recently, Coffee apparatus's, the plague, and of course.....a chicken update.
Kyle Rogers asked me to watch a Swedish Film called "Slim Susie". I was intrigued. Now I ask you to partake in this conversation that is almost as strange as this film. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/lsquared/support
On this episode, Kyle and I dive into the evaluation process. We look at: -Evolution of the Driveline evaluation -Use of VBT for evaluation -How evaluation dictates programming And we finish the episode talking about the integration of skill training and strength and conditioning. This is something I am very passionate about and firmly believe that the strength and conditioning coach is not doing their job if they do not understand the skill (i.e. hitting, throwing, etc).
I am very excited to have Kyle Rogers join me for a 3 part series! In part 1, we discuss: -Kyle's background, baseball career, and his career path -Pros and cons of strength and conditioning jobs in the private sector, college, and professional baseball -Importance of the relationship between the skill coach and the strength and conditioning coach

In the first episode of The B-Roll Podcast, wherein Brandon Miller, Nick Rogers, Kyle Rogers, and hopefully sometimes guests discuss a movie they watched recently, we try to talk about Dr. Strangelove but become often and spectacularly sidetracked. Miller has a neat story about mafia movies, Nick has some choice words about Warhol, and Kyle defends Batman V. Superman vehemently. We all agree, however, that Seth MacFarlane is just edgy. I guess we all kinda liked Dr. Strangelove, too.
We come back to you in this episode from our trip to Lawrence, KS for the NCAA West Regional Championships. Joel got to catch up with Kyle Rogers and AJ and Kyle got to listen to him for the first time. Kyle is a massage therapist but his story on how he got there is definitely unique and just shows how we can take the strangest ways to get to where we are. We talk all things massage. From technique to some of the fringe areas of the profession but can make a huge difference. This is a great episode full of a lot of ideas and things to think about. We hope you enjoy and thanks for listening. -CP PodSquad
Kentucky had not had a fatal distillery accident since Prohibition until the morning of April 24, 2015, when the still at the Silver Trail Distillery suddenly over-pressurized and exploded. Distillers Jay Rogers and Kyle Rogers were hit with a blast of steam followed by burning alcohol, and both men suffered severe burns. Kyle Rogers died 17 days later at Nashville's Vanderbilt University Medical Center, while Jay Rogers spent more than two months in the burn unit before he was released. He and Silver Trail founder Spencer Balentine share their stories of survival, the generosity of Kentucky's whiskey community, their future plans, and pay tribute to Kyle Rogers in this episode of WhiskyCast HD.
It's been a busy week in the whisky world, and there's a lot to talk about on this episode. We'll have the latest on Friday's explosion at the Silver Trail Distillery in Hardin, Kentucky that left distillers Jay Rogers and Kyle Rogers critically burned, along with the outpouring of support for them following the accident. Nine people were indicted in the theft of thousands of dollars worth of Pappy Van Winkle, Buffalo Trace, and Wild Turkey Bourbon in Kentucky, but there's a viral campaign seeking a pardon...for the whiskey. Finally, Bruichladdich's Jim McEwan suddenly announced his plan to retire in July after 52 years in the whisky business...so he really can spend more time with his family. We'll have all that, plus more of the week's news and tasting notes for one of Jim McEwan's favorite whiskies along with two single malts from 1975.
