Bradfo continues to speak with Arcand on another lack to pull the trigger for a team that has earned upgrades. Seeing prices for Merrill Kelly and other starters should make fans angrier they couldn't (or wouldn't) match it. Then, a look around the rest of majors and figuring out if there were any teams that had a worse deadline than the Sox. And, the pain of this trade deadline has to be in part of the expectations that were given from the Sox front office.
Make Free Money - The Easiest Way To Make Risk-Free Money Every Month Welcome to another episode of Join Up Dots, where today we're diving deep into a method that's helping everyday people make free money—and I mean real, tangible cash that can boost your income without asking you to work more hours, sell anything, or start a side hustle from scratch. This isn't about filling in endless surveys for pennies or trying your luck with crypto. Today, we're talking about something that's been sitting quietly in the background for years—matched betting—a strategy that, when done properly, can help you make free money simply by taking advantage of bookmaker offers. That's right, legal, tax-free profits just for being a bit more switched-on with your online activity. Now I know what some of you might be thinking. Betting? That sounds risky. But that's where this episode is different. I walk you step-by-step through how to make this work in a safe, structured, and risk-managed way. I share exactly how thousands of people are using matched betting to turn bookmaker promotions into profit—without gambling in the traditional sense. This is not about hoping to win—this is about knowing you will win. You're playing the system, not the odds. Matched betting allows you to profit by locking in guaranteed returns using a combination of free bets and clever positioning between a bookmaker and a betting exchange. You back a bet with the bookmaker using their free bet, and you lay the same outcome on the exchange so all outcomes are covered. No guesswork. No gambling. Just maths. Throughout the episode, I use a simple example—placing a bet on Manchester United—to show exactly how the process works. And I do it slowly, clearly, and repeatedly so it doesn't go over anyone's head. Because let's be honest, a lot of this financial world is full of jargon and complexity. But making free money shouldn't be. In fact, it can be surprisingly easy once you see the full picture—and that's what this episode gives you. One of the most powerful things about matched betting is that it's one of those rare ways to make free money by doing something you're probably already doing—browsing the internet, looking at sports results, and maybe even placing the odd bet here and there. But this time, you do it with strategy, purpose, and precision. And don't worry—this episode doesn't expect you to be a maths genius or a sports betting expert. Far from it. In fact, I deliberately break everything down like I was teaching a friend in the pub or chatting with a listener like Kelly, who emailed me struggling to make ends meet. I told her exactly what I'll tell you: “This can be your foot in the door to make free money each month without changing your lifestyle one bit.” If you're organised, if you're willing to follow the process and take it slow at the start, you can realistically earn £500 to £1,000 tax-free in your first couple of months—sometimes even more. And from there, it becomes an income stream that runs quietly in the background while you go about your life. But I also talk about the mindset shift that needs to happen. Because it's not just about the technique—it's about the decision to no longer struggle, to question everything, and to find smarter ways to live. It's about saying, “Hang on a minute… why am I working harder when I could just make free money from something as simple as signing up to a bookmaker and following some steps?” I also highlight how this approach is just the beginning. Once you unlock this mindset—this willingness to explore, research, and take small steps—you'll see other doors opening. You'll start to see cashback sites, switching bank bonuses, stoozing, and airmiles as more ways to make free money simply by being clever with the systems that already exist. So, if you're someone who's tired of never having anything left at the end of the month… If you've ever felt like you're constantly trying to get ahead but never quite making it… This episode is for you. You don't need to quit your job. You don't need to launch a business. You just need to sit down, open your ears, and listen to a process that thousands of people are already using to change their financial situation. This is practical. It's real. And it's powerful. And remember, it's not just about the money. It's about the control it gives you. The confidence. The belief that yes, you can find ways to thrive—even if you've been scraping by for years. This is about reclaiming your financial future, one small smart decision at a time. So take a listen now to this episode of Join Up Dots and share it with someone who needs to hear it. A friend. A partner. A colleague. Because once you understand how to make free money the smart way, you'll wonder why nobody told you sooner.

Welcome back to another episode of Midwest Married. Maintaining a happy/healthy relationship, kids, friendship, intimacy and everything else that could come at you in this crazy thing we call life. Buckle up—our third episode of listener write-ins takes us everywhere. We kick things off with the excitement of moving out at 18... but make it spicy by adding a significant other to the mix. Nothing tests young love quite like sharing bills, chores, and passive-aggressive texts from your mom. Next, we take a serious turn as a listener asks if they should reconnect with a former role model who has since... well, unalived someone. It's a tough one, and we try our best to walk the fine line between thoughtful advice and not spiraling into a true crime podcast. Finally, we dive into one of the internet's most controversial questions: is it ever okay to propose at, or around, someone else's wedding? As always: awkward laughs, questionable advice, and zero regrets. As the Supreme Court weighs in on the president's use of the Alien Enemies Act, Mary and Andrew approach this week's developments with both concern and relief. While relieved at the unanimity of the High Court's belief that due process is a necessity, the concern lies with the Trump administration's response to a court order directing them to arrange the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the man who was wrongfully deported to El Salvador. They also see cause for alarm after the government retaliated against their own lawyer in this case. Andrew and Mary then take a beat to spotlight the DC circuit upholding a judge's decision related to scope of Trump's J6 pardons. And before closing out this week's episode, they detail the lawsuit brought by the conservative leaning NCLA over the constitutionality of the sweeping tariffs the president has announced.Further reading: This is Mary's recent op Ed in the Washington Post: The White House war on Big Law hits some speed bumpsAnd please vote for your favorite MSNBC podcasts in this year's Webby Awards:Prosecuting Donald Trump in the Podcasts - Crime & Justice category: VOTE HEREWhy Is This Happening? What are the 4Qs? (1) Three favorite films. (2) An underrated film. (3) An overrated film. (4) A lesser-known film people should seek out. Tuesday's interview with Regina Pigsley was two years in the making and well worth the wait! It's Tuesday, Indie Film Lovers, and you know that means a new podcast is out! This particular interview was two years in the making! How so? Regina Pigsley and I had set a time to record this, either in person or Zoom, so many times since her film “The Phoenix” screened at Sherman Oaks Film Festival in 2022 (where she won Outstanding Director – Drama & Audience Award - Best Short Film – Drama) that we both thought that we were recording her second appearance on Discover Indie Film. But noooo... thorough research proves that Regina has not been on the podcast before! It might be because we had another great festival Q&A six months later when she brought her revamped college film “Matched” to Film Invasion Los Angeles in 2023, taking home an Audience Award for Best Short Film - SciFi. But our shared false memory that Regina had done a Discover Indie Film podcast is no longer relevant because we DID record this podcast! Lucky you, because this is a wonderful conversation with an amazingly dedicated filmmaker and human. I add the “amazing human” part because Regina works for World Central Kitchen, utilizing her production skills to help get food to people in war zones. Amazing!
