Look. This episode is a hot mess. The girls are moving to San Francisco for a month, so they are distracted & stressed out. But they do their best to talk about James Comey's indictment and the impending government shut down. It's pretty much incessant ranting, with a lot of petty insults thrown in for good measure. It's definitely not top tier, by any means. Today's Headlines: Former FBI Director James Comey was indicted yesterday on charges of lying to Congress and obstructing a proceeding, stemming from his 2020 testimony about the Russia probe (it always goes back to Russia). Meanwhile, Trump's new enemy: an escalator at the UN that stopped moving under his feet, which he called “triple sabotage” and demanded arrests over. He also slapped tariffs of up to 50% on furniture and cabinets, claiming a national security threat from foreign vanities. In other news, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth ordered nearly 1,000 generals to convene at Quantico in the largest gathering of top brass since Vietnam, though no one will say why. Disney investors are suing over Kimmel's suspension, alleging political motives, while Democrats are furious that the State Department accidentally leaked unredacted military records of Rep. Mikie Sherrill, including her Social Security number, ahead of her gubernatorial run. In tech news, TikTok is being sold to a billionaire bloc led by Oracle and Rupert Murdoch (what could go wrong?), Amazon agreed to pay $2.5 billion to settle an FTC case over Prime tricks, and the government is begging hundreds of employees fired in Elon's MAGA-GSA purge to come back. Microsoft, for its part, just cut off an Israeli military unit using its AI for Palestinian surveillance. And finally, Trump promised Israel won't annex the West Bank, U.S. jets intercepted Russian bombers near Alaska, and Argentina will be getting a $20B bailout after President Milei and his buddy Elon basically “DOGE'd” the economy into the ground. A-Block (2:30) SPECIAL COMMENT: After perhaps the most hapless 96 hours of his presidency, the worst 96 hours of the worst presidency of ALL TIME, the most FAIL in the shortest span… the mentally-deteriorating, untethered-from-reality Trump… must RESIGN. And take his idiot sycophants with him. The last 96 hours: His U.N. speech, sounding like an escapee from a psych ward. His Tylenol news conference, sounding like an escapee from a psych ward who’s been living on the street for a month. His suggestion NATO countries shoot down Russian jets. His sudden embrace of Zelensky, either another stall or a stupid dare to Putin. MAGA’s RAGE AT his sudden embrace of Zelensky. The cover of a London right wing daily: his picture and in 72-point type, the word “DERANGED.” The ICE shooting in Dallas; his sadistic Homeland chief pretending the victims were agents when they were detainees; his idiot simpering Vice President pretending the victims were agents when they were detainees; his corrupt venal FBI director pretending the victims were agents when they were detainees. His ICE chief not denying he took $50,000 in a paper bag. His staff THEN denying he took $50,000 in a paper bag. His cancellation of a meeting with Democrats making sure if there’s a government shutdown it’s all his fault. His crackpot pal Milei crashing the Venezuelan economy and needing us to bail him out. His paranoia over the stopped teleprompter at the U-N that was his White House staff’s fault. His paranoia over the stopped escalator at the U-N that was his own vanity videographer’s fault. His desire to arrest the U.N. escalator technician or the U-N escalator button pusher. His desire to arrest the escalator AND James Comey. The election of Raul Grijalva’s daughter to Congress. The fact that Adelita Grijalva will be the last Representative needed to force a vote on releasing the Trump Epstein Files. His self-humiliation at the Kirk Memorial. ABC reinstating Jimmy Kimmel. Meaning Disney told him to eff off. Meaning the National Football League told him to eff off. Meaning they all told his propagandists at Sinclair to eff off. Kimmel then shoving him in a locker using only a monologue. Kimmel getting a record 6 million viewers and 22 more online in the first TWENTY hours. Kimmel and his show getting new life and maybe a new contract. His self-owning confession that HE and his goons used threats to get Kimmel cancelled. The fact that Kimmel, and ABC, and Bob Iger, and Disney, and America told Trump to SHOVE HIS THREATS. And that’s just since Sunday night. You lost to an escalator. Resign. Take Vance with you. Take Noem with you. Take Ho-man with you. Take Milei with you. LEAVE the Epstein Files. B-Block (32:53) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: Jason Whitlock says eff everybody, this is Christ-land and he won't be brainwashed any more (no brain, no pain). Derrick Van Orden says Kirk was Jesus and you don't F with the Jesus so defund The Mayo Clinic (he should go there and get CT scanned) and Kristi Noem says a tweet saying she'd have a bad day was terrifying for her. This is a piece of crap who in her spare time murders puppies. C-Block (42:00) THINGS I PROMISED NOT TO TELL: The New York Post BS firehose points at a couple of liberals at a time, then it rotates away, but eventually it makes a full circle and comes back to you. For me this has been going on since the mid-1990's and it's just started again. If you'll permit, here's a brief history.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Is Ed Davey the Anti-Trump? We digest the Lib Dem Conference. PLUS: A crazy 48 hours for Trump, even by Trump standards. Naomi Smith, Alex Andreou and special guest, Cambridge Law Professor, former Lib Dem MP and former Electoral Commissioner, David Howarth, discuss the rising threat of illiberalism, and the antidote. Including regular feature 'Grin And Share It'. ***SPONSOR US AT KO-FI.COM/QUIETRIOTPOD*** “Of the top twenty least-deprived constituencies in the country more than half of them are held by the Lib Dems. So, when Ed Davey says ‘we are the party of Middle England' it sounds to many that he means ‘the middle class'. This is the party that allegedly chose its target seats on the basis of being outside London but with a Gail's.” “The problem is assuming politics is about buying people's vote. That's an invitation for instability because you end up always disappointing voters - who feel they didn't get enough or others got too much. A politics based on values that offers hope can appeal to lots of people in different circumstances, and is not all about giving you an extra fiver and taking a fiver off the other lot.” “One of the things about Ed Davey is that what he says drives Reform UK party people crazy. And that's good. Because one of the major rules of politics is to work out what your opponent least wants you to say and say it.” “We need to be inside the new EU pact on migration and asylum. It is a burden sharing pact, but most of the things that people complain about would be solved within it: more information about the people we take, much easier returns, and an obligation for asylum seekers to apply only once, in the first country they land.” “What we are seeing [from Farage] is sinister. Reform is adopting a policy of ‘national preference' - the fundamental policy of the far right in France. I starts with citizenship. Who counts as a citizen? Who should be a citizen? If you listen to Le Pen, it shifts to dual citizens. Suggests they have divided loyalties. It then goes to a very dark place all about having ‘the right' ancestry.” “The gov't has a moral responsibility to reform the electoral system. We are not in a situation where Labour's partisanship over first-past-the-post ends up delivering a vaguely incompetent centre-right gov't. It could deliver a far-right gov't on 30% of the vote. It is morally reprehensible and irresponsible not to change the system.” “I'm much more worried about the rise of fascism than the rise in autism. All this Tylenol stuff is part of a portrayal of Gilead, basically, where women should not work or participate in civic society, but be at home, pregnant, and enduring as much pain as possible, in order to support the white patriarchy.” “I worry that all this forms a pattern of attack against evidence, a concerted attack on science, a sort of Endarkenment, an attempt to return people to a state of not knowing what to trust, in which Leader's Word becomes the only source of truth.” “This idea of ‘behind the scenes' doesn't really work with Trump. There is no ‘behind'. All of it is played out on the stage. Trump has this idea that he has to win the day, of a reality show, where at the end of each episode, Trump must be the winner.” CALLS TO ACTION: Subscribe to David Howarth's substack here. We have so many topics today they won't all fit in the headline so hang in there as we cover it all. We start with the epidemic of teen crime in KC as it's obvious many young thugs know they can't get in trouble. Sunday night at a concert in KC at T-Mobile center, a large, developed, strong "minor" beat the living daylights out of an old man usher. It's just awful. You have to hear this story. It was quite a day for President Trump as he put the United Nations on blast, warned Russia and watch his would be assassin convicted on all five counts. But as he joked about the escalator not working at the U.N., it appears to be deliberate. We have the deets. Jimmy Kimmel returns and says some very nice things about Erica Kirk but also admitted he's not changing anyone's mind about anything. So what's the point? Why not just entertain? It looks like Salvy is back next year for the Royals and we dive in to a pair of other stories. One MLB player was at Charlie Kirk's memorial as a guest of Erica and isn't apologizing to anyone for leaving his team for a bit. And have you been watching the Royals division the last 10 days or so? It's looking like Detroit it about to blow it and maybe miss the playoffs entirely. Mike Gundy is out at Oklahoma State football and he's always been one of my faves. More drama at the Ryder Cup between Rory and Bryson. Fans are unhappy that ESPN has added a new guest to Monday Night Football Countdown and the Missouri man that won the $1.7 billion Powerball has a plan for his future.

Donald Trump managed to take it personally when an escalator at the UN General Assembly stopped working while he was on it. Jen Psaki takes the opportunity to observe another instance of the "Donald Trump rage cycle," and points out that the thin-skinned president's petty tyrades are less intimidating the more people learn to stand up to him.Jen Psaki revisits MSNBC reporting from the weekend about the FBI investigating Trump border czar Tom Homan until the investigation was suddenly dropped, and reviews a litany of cuts to the government's anti-corruption capacity. The pressure campaign against Disney/ABC appears to have worked, and Jimmy Kimmel is to return to the airwaves, but many Americans won't be able to make the choice to watch him or not on their own because Nexstar and Sinclair, the media conglomerates that own their local ABC station, may have a financial interest in appeasing Donald Trump rather than serving local communities. FCC Commissioner Anna Gomez, the lone Democratic appointee on the commission, joins Jen Psaki to discuss the dynamics at play. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. A fired-up episode that walks through the chaos at the U.N.—an escalator stall, a mysteriously failing teleprompter, and oddly altered audio—and asks whether this was clumsy coincidence or deliberate sabotage. We break down the row between the White House press office and the U.N., reactions from press pool insiders, and the viral moments that had viewers smelling a setup. Then we pivot to the speech itself: why the president's remarks about Europe, energy policy, and “seizing the means of production” cut through conventional narratives — and why climate policy, censorship, and rationing fears are being framed as a coordinated political strategy. Expect on-the-ground detail, combative analysis, and the big question front and center: is this theater or a warning?
Ignite the fight, America—@intheMatrixxx and @shadygrooove, the relentless truth warriors of the digital frontier, charge into Season 7, Episode 182, “Whitehouse Wants Answers on UN Escalator/Teleprompter Sabotage; Tylenol Agrees with Trump,” airing September 24, 2025, at 12:05 PM Eastern, ripping apart the globalist games and Big Pharma shadows threatening our families and sovereignty. With White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt demanding firings and probes after the UN escalator halted mid-step for President Trump and First Lady Melania—echoing staff jokes about tripping him up—and the teleprompter freezing during his fiery General Assembly address, they question the "accidental" narrative peddled by UN spokesmen blaming a videographer's safety trigger, spotlighting how these "malfunctions" scream of deliberate establishment interference to undermine America's voice on the world stage. Shifting to the home front, they unpack Trump's bold White House announcement linking prenatal Tylenol use to surging autism rates—backed by FDA label changes, HHS initiatives under Secretary Kennedy, and Tylenol's own longstanding pregnancy warnings—while slamming mainstream medics and global health bodies for downplaying the risks in a desperate bid to protect profits over patriots. The truth is learned, never told—armed with unfiltered intel, real-time X reactions, and razor-sharp analysis, they arm you with the facts to reject the spin and defend our kids, because the Constitution is your weapon. In this weeks podcast Dan and Ray have a conversation about education with Dr Simon Breakspear. Simon is a globally respected expert in educational leadership and innovation, known for his insightful work on transforming learning environments. His forward thinking ideas around education are reshaping the way schools and school systems are thinking about teaching, learning and leadership. In this episode we talk about: Distinction Between Productivity and Pedagogical Uses of AI: Simon, Dan, and Ray discussed the critical distinction between using AI for productivity tasks in education (such as administrative work and report summarisation) and for pedagogical purposes, emphasising that while AI can greatly enhance productivity for adults, its use in learning processes for students requires careful consideration to avoid undermining cognitive development. Human Development and the Role of Analogue Learning: Simon argued that foundational human development—such as reading, writing, and critical thinking—should precede the use of AI in learning, with Dan and Ray supporting the view that analogue learning experiences are crucial for building the cognitive and personal skills necessary for effective future use of AI. Guidance for School Leaders and Teachers on Navigating AI Integration: Ray and Dan sought practical advice from Simon for school leaders and teachers facing pressure to adopt AI, with Simon recommending a cautious, evidence-based approach that prioritises human development, leverages AI for productivity gains, and introduces AI into learning processes only where it demonstrably enhances educational outcomes. Changing Role of Teachers in the Age of AI: Ray questions whether the role of teachers must change with AI, and Simon responded that while some administrative tasks may be automated, the core human functions of teaching—motivating, engaging, and forming students—will become even more critical, with teachers needing to exercise professional judgement about when and how to use AI in the classroom. Ethical and Equity Considerations in AI Adoption: Dan and Simon discussed the ethical implications and potential inequities arising from AI adoption in education, highlighting concerns that uneven access and premature augmentation could disadvantage certain groups of students and create disparities in skills and opportunities. Practical Strategies for Selective AI Integration: Simon provided practical strategies for integrating AI into education, recommending that schools focus on specific, evidence-based learning processes where AI can add value, such as feedback and retrieval practice, and to avoid being overwhelmed by the proliferation of AI tools. Long-Term Purpose of Education Amidst Technological Change: Simon concluded that the ultimate goal of education is not solely economic productivity but the holistic formation of human beings, arguing that enduring human skills, identity, and community are essential for resilience in an unpredictable future, regardless of technological advancements.
