It's an honor to have Renee Linnell back on Rising Women Leaders! In Renee's latest book, Still on Fire, she shares stories of magic, miracles, travel and romance… from traveling over 50 countries, love affairs with men half her age, being rescued by angels, getting stranded at 22,000 feet in the Himalayas, Renee takes us on a wild adventure in her book, sharing soul-soothing wisdom she gained along the way. Where her first book, The Burn Zone was an exploration of what happens when we don't listen to our Inner Guidance, Still on Fire is an exposition of what happens when we do. May this conversation support you to remember who you truly are and reignite a passion for being alive on Earth at this time. “Freedom, I have discovered, is letting go and jumping into the stream of life. Being willing to be uncomfortable and trusting that divine choreography will always lead us to the next right unfolding. It is looking for the good in everything we gaze upon or stumble upon… finding the miracles in each moment instead of the grievances.” In this episode we discussed: How Renee shifted her mindset from victim to warrior What is soul sickness? and how to realign with your soul's truth How to survive as a sensitive being on this planet Renee's wild and powerful stories of magic, travel, romance and miracles Why we need to shine our light and how to navigate losing people in our life who can't resonate at the same frequency How to let go of people pleasing and caring so much of what others think of us What finding our power really means Listening to our intuition - and tips to realign with love and freedom when fear or self-doubt appears Links in this episode: Renee's previous Rising Women Leaders episode 068: Your Difference is Your Destiny Buy the book: Still on Fire or The Burn Zone Stay in Touch with Renee: Website Instagram Facebook Stay in Touch with Rising Women Leaders: Website Instagram Patreon Renee Linnell is a serial entrepreneur who has founded or cofounded five companies and has an MBA from New York University; before that she was a model and professional dancer. What began as writing for catharsis in 2013—as she struggled to regain her sanity after being brainwashed in a Buddhist cult—turned into her first memoir, The Burn Zone: A Memoir (She Writes Press, 2018). *Enrollment is Open for the Rising Women Leaders Priestess Initiation ~ We begin March 11, 2020 While I was preparing for my recent webinar, The Role of the Priestess in the Modern Age, it became clear to me that there were 5 core wounds that have consistently held back the women I’ve worked with from activating their soul gifts and creating world change. This conversation was originally aired on the Vital Mother Podcast with Jillian Anderson. What came through in our conversation felt so powerful that I wanted it to reach more women and decided to share it with you today on Rising Women Leaders.
Priestess is a term and title that's thrown around in personal development and spiritual circles, and yet, there are those of us who feel a knowing, that Priestess is what we were, and who we are. What is a Priestess? What does it mean to be a Priestess? Beyond that, what are the difficulties, challenges, and wounds that a woman who is called into Priestesshood faces in modern times? Meredith Rom, a highly skilled and compassionate healer friend of mine, brings us through a very powerful podcast episode today, that you don't want to miss. In this episode Jillian and Meredith discussed: How Jillian and Meredith met Jillian's experience of Meredith's wedding The importance of not giving an F or shrinking to keep others comfortable What is a Priestess? What does it mean to be a Priestess? the 5 Wounds of the Priestess and how they may be affecting how you're showing up to and for your calling What EFT is, and why it's effective at healing unresolved trauma How to navigate the fear of being seen, the fear of being judged, and more! Available for a Limited Time: Healing the Womb: 1:1 Sessions to Heal the Past and Activate Your Manifestation Power: http://www.risingwomenleaders.com/womb A few weeks ago I visited Maui, considered the Sacral Chakra of the islands and heard the voice of Gaia say, “Heal their wombs to heal the planet.” And I realized there’s a skill I have that I haven’t been sharing with you. When I began offering somatic healing modalities in my work, I discovered almost all the women I was working with had experienced some form of sexual abuse or trauma related to the womb in their life. I saw how when we addressed those old wounds and brought love and healing to the memories, these women were so much more confident, excited and ready to move forward with their dreams. Over the past three years I’ve worked with women who’ve experienced traumatic hospital birth experiences, abortion, miscarriage, and physical or sexual abuse. As we healed these memories, both big and small, I watched as they began to shine ever more brightly. I now know 1 out of every 2 women has experienced some form of sexual abuse or womb violation in her life. These experiences directly affect our ability to feel like we matter, we are worthy, and that what we have to say is of importance. It hinders our self-esteem, makes us want to play small and hide away from the world. As a certified Matrix Re-imprinting practitioner, EFT facilitator, trained coach, initiated Priestess and compassionate listener, it is my mission to reach more women who are holding on to these difficult memories that are holding them back from taking courageous steps and living at their highest potential. Some challenges you may be experiencing if you you’ve had a violation: not able to hold boundaries not feeling like your voice matters unable to charge what you’re really worth questioning and doubting your creative projects feeling stuck or stagnant disconnected from the energy of creation and your inherent power When the womb is violated and we feel a trauma we often disconnect from this sacred power center because there is just too much pain or shame. Do you struggle with feeling safe to receive or experience pleasure? Do you yearn to feel more confident? To have better boundaries? To tap into your feminine power of creation? To deeply believe in yourself? In the month of November I’m offering 1:1 sessions to HEAL PAST TRAUMA + ACTIVATE YOUR MANIFESTATION POWER - learn more at http://risingwomenleaders.com/womb

I’ve been doing this work for a long time now and last week I was doing a client review of what’s happened in the last year for my past clients in the world of feminine entrepreneurship… I was happily surprised to discover that many of them have been able to Increase their income to $3-10k per month in their spiritually centered business Use their voice with confidence to share their message Help more people and make a bigger impact because they finally have the time and freedom to focus on it! I’ve been so busy helping THEM grow their dream businesses that I haven’t taken the time to share with YOU how you can earn more money and finally put yourself out there to do the work your heart has been calling out for you to do. For that, I apologize. All the time I’m hearing from women that they're struggling to get by in their business, that they deeply feel they have a calling, a sacred mission to fulfill, but are having to work multiple jobs and burning out trying to make it all work… …A phone call with someone who lacks the confidence to put herself out there and share her message. …A Facebook message from someone who is afraid to raise her prices because she’s afraid no one will sign up. …A DM from a sister who’s been spending her time growing her instagram following but behind-the-scenes is not earning anywhere near the kind of income she would like to make. The truth is, you CAN earn more money AND live life on your own terms (with a flexible schedule, time for family, self-care, and spiritual practices)… It’s just that I haven’t been focusing on helping YOU with those kinds of results. I’ve been waking up to the fact that if ANYONE in the world is meant to be earning more money, it is spiritual, heart-centered women like you. That’s where we need more power. More femininity in leadership. More women owning and earning their worth. And you know what? When you are owning the true value of what you have to offer, you will actually have more TIME to focus on spreading your sacred work, your voice, your message, your soul gifts in such a bigger way… So many more people will benefit from what you have to share. So even though earning great money is part of it, underneath that, I really want you to make the impact your soul came here to make. To break through the fears. The self-doubts. The limiting beliefs. The old stories saying you can’t. It’s time to honor your voice. Your soul callings. No more hiding. I know I’ve been offering value to you through the podcast, and I’ll keep doing that, but I’m realizing it’s not the same as taking you by the hand to make the shifts I think you would really love to see in your life. No more. I’ve opened up some time in the next week to speak to a select number of committed women about how they can increase their impact and income without letting go of their spiritual and feminine values. There’s no charge for this and it’s totally free. But it’s not for everyone. Here are the kinds of women I can help: Feminine entrepreneurs who have an existing business and want to grow their work online Those who are committed, show up and take action Those who have a deep soul desire to make a positive impact through their work Those who are willing to step outside their comfort zone to grow If you’re tired of playing small in your business and you’re ready to start seeing results, then I’m making the time to show you how to get there. Click here to book your session. With love, Meredith PS: This podcast is going out to thousands of people today. Spaces WILL fill up fast (and there’s only one of me)! Today on the show I have the amazing Meredith Rom. I loved connecting with her! You can just tell by her voice how grounded, soulful, and heart centered she is. I absolutely loved the way that she talked about beauty and uniqueness as it pertains to the self. I think that's often times something that we just miss the ball on so much as we don't acknowledge the beauty and the uniqueness of our individuality, our humanness, our souls, and our hearts. I often get my clients to look at nature and I say, “Look how beautiful that is!” and what we get to realize is beauty that exists externally also exists within ourselves. The only thing we have to ask ourselves is, “Are we willing to look at it? Are we willing to realize it?” Something else we talked about is what to do when your partner is not into personal development and growth but you are. We also talk about the art of asking for help, the art of receiving, really stepping into our Womanhood, really stepping into our femininity, and asking for what we need to help us navigate this human experience. About Meredith Rom Meredith Rom is a yoga teacher, author, coach and host of the Rising Women Leaders podcast. She helps women uncover and heal whatever is preventing them from claiming and embodying their unique brilliance to be a beacon of light for others to awaken in this world. In this episode, Meredith shares: Acknowledging our own beauty and uniqueness. How comparison robs us of our true magic. Taking ownership when we're acting out of alignment and forgiving ourselves. Two years ago Mary Magdalene was honored by the Catholic church as The Apostle of the Apostles - and given a day in her honor July 22. This means so much for our awakening collective consciousness, that this powerful woman could no longer be shunned or shamed by the church, and on a larger scale speaks to how women are reclaiming their power. In honor of Mary Magdalene's Feast Day, July 22, I've put together a recording for you of the Rose lineage teachings that have most impacted my life: Feeling Your Pain & Emotions - how to navigate difficult emotions as they arise and use them as a pathway to your own source and divinity A Guided Process on Forgiveness Abundance Consciousness - Tapping into a state of enough & looking at the world from a lens of abundance Your Body & Sexuality as Sacred Portals to the Divine This recording is available for a limited time *For Free* when you sign up at risingwomenleaders.com I hope you enjoy it! I had just gone through a week on my moon cycle, trying to push myself to get clear on a schedule for the next month of business promotions, but literally all I wanted to do was stay in bed. It was so hard for me to feel motivated and get clear on what was coming. I kept wondering why I wasn't able to "get my act together." Then magically, a few days after my moon time, a surge of energy rushed through me and I was more productive than ever. Suddenly I had the mental clarity to take steps forward and was able to make a clear schedule for the following month. It wasn't until I talked to Maga that I realized this was all related to where I was in my cycle. Learning the archetypes for each phase of a woman's menstrual cycle was so enlightening to my path as an in-tune Priestess and Business woman. I now saw a way I could use these two aspects of myself to support each other. Podcast by Meredith Rom - Rising Women Leaders | Spirituality | Personal Growth | Yoga | Entrepreneurship - Personal growth, intuition, stories, voice, women, yoga, feminine leadership, spirituality, online business, and meditation What a relief it was - To realize there are times of the month where I just need to let myself go totally inwards and be a hermit, and times of the month that will be completely aligned for me to have the mental clarity to see into the future and take action. I had heard this kind of wisdom before, but something about how Maga shared it really "clicked" for me. I think this wisdom of becoming more in tune with your womb and cycles is a true gift to every woman. I hope you enjoy the episode! “The awareness of the cycle builds a sense of self trust. You know that no matter what is going on around you, you have this intimate understanding of what your inner landscape is doing so you can lead from a place of authenticity.” In this episode we discussed: Maga's recent journey of conscious uncoupling and her decision to cut off her hair Living in alignment with your womb and menstrual cycle The different archetypes for each phase of your cycle as a woman The Spiritual qualities of a woman's menstruation and practical strategies to plan a workflow around your cycle. Feminine embodiment How vulnerability plays a part in emergent leadership The role of desire in a woman's self-actualization SPECIAL GIFT FROM MAGA: Receive your very own cycle tracking chart >right here. Stay in touch with Maga: Website Instagram @magaofgaia Maga is a divine feminine leadership coach that activates highly-sensitive women to come alive in their desire, lead with confidence, and remember how to live in alignment with their menstrual cycles in order to birth their creative businesses into the world. As a sound and energy practitioner, Maga also magically weaves her voice work and energy healing into the women's circles she facilitates that guide women to reconnect to their bodies, voices and their unique feminine spirituality. She believes that all women are Radiant and strives to support them to shine in all she does.

Following your gut to take the risk. Cultivating trust as you embark on the Spiritual Journey and into the unknown. Rising Women Leaders Podcast host + author Meredith Rom reminds us in her new book Just Be the importance of Just Be-ing as we begin to honor the journey and trust the process. In her latest memoir, Meredith shares her journey of finding Self-Love in India as she trusted her intuition and listened to her spirit guides to choose again to where her life was headed. She heard the call to move to India to participate at Amma's Ashram, but along the way, she was guided to surrender and to explore more of the country on a pilgrimage of a lifetime. Living in fear to express herself and being out there, her body and Spirit let her know that this was the time for her to explore. After her pilgrimage, Meredith has stepped up as a Sovereign Leader for women through her podcast, business, and her latest offering, The Sovereign Circle to help empower women to tap into and live from their higher self. In this episode of the Sovereign Goddess Podcast, we talked about… ☾ Meredith's Journey and her pilgrimage to India to practice yoga and study herself at Amma's Ashram ☾ Diving into the uncomfortable in order to become the person we are destined to be ☾ The art of surrender and living in a space of total faith ☾ Trusting our Spirit Guides to help us along the journey and heal the past-life trauma + pain ☾ Healing our Throat Chakra as we step up and share our medicine ☾ Connecting with Mary Magdalene as the Divine Feminine begins to rise to reconnect with the Divine Masculine ☾ Stepping up as the Sovereign Queen to serve humanity ☾ The Sovereign Circle + empowering women through sisterhood and ceremony ☾ Working with the Feminine to support our business ☾ Releasing our attachment to the outcome and the art of letting go ☾ Taking responsibility for our actions and the practice of radical forgiveness We are seeing more and more women stepping up and speaking their truth, owning their authentic power to help serve humanity. More than ever are women being asked to rise up and to stop suppressing their power because let's face it, women are the creators to carry in life. We know that empowered women empower women, but to witness this, we must empower ourselves first. As we step into more of our feminine energy, we find ourselves working with the flow of life rather than against it. Miracles unfold at the right time… it truly is about Divine Timing. Going through our journey, we must learn to be more receptive and allow this energy to flow as we learn to balance our masculine energy and empower our own feminine energy. When we allow ourselves to Just Be and honor what arises, we find ourselves in alignment with ease and grace. As a society, we are learning and remembering that we truly are enough as we are. For so long, we've been operating out of this masculine space of pushing and hustling and going after and while there are moments where we need to honor that in our lives and in our business, we have been missing the crucial component to what's needed. We need to cultivate that trust with Spirit and our souls as we navigate through this time and space without the over effort to the point of burnout and exhaustion. Cultivating a daily practice and taking the time to honor ourselves and what we need is crucial in today's day and age and Meredith says it was what helped her step into her power as she began to embrace her radiance and brilliance. "For me, astrology is about enchantment...When I am looking at someone's birth chart, I am looking at their soul's patterning. I am looking at the moment they were born and the heavens froze, and this special moment becomes someone's soul process." "It tells me about their evolution as a soul, it tells me about where their challenges are, what their relational patterns are, how they can self-soothe with their emotions, how they can take care of themselves better. When I first met Denell Nawrocki, I learned she held a vision of educating and empowering women on alternative methods of birth control, and about gynecological and women's health. I was in awe only months later when I saw a string of workshops pop up around our town that Denell put together on Cervical wellness. I attended her workshop to hear her healing journey - how she cleared her system of HPV and cervical dysplasia, completely naturally. In the workshop she also offered tools for other women who may have received an abnormal pap test at their last women's health exam. Millions of women in the US alone receive results of an abnormal pap test at least once in their life, yet they are given little information about what they can shift in their lives to alter future test results. This episode is full with wisdom if you or anyone you know has received an abnormal pap test before, or if you want to learn about preventative health for women's wellness. I think you'll also be inspired by Denell's story if you feel the call to share your own healing journey and be of service to others as Denell shares about releasing her fears of vulnerability to share her voice. In this episode you'll learn: How our deepest callings are often what scare us most Denell's personal story of healing naturally from HPV and cervical dysplasia What you can do to take your health into your own hands if you ever receive an abnormal pap test A 5-step protocol for optimal cervical wellness and health Herbs and self-care routines that are beneficial for women's health How to move from healing yourself to sharing your story and addressing the fears and doubts that come up along the way -- Want to win a free 75-minute coaching session with our host? On Friday I made an instagram post for the women in my community who I knew were feeling the energies of what is happening at Standing Rock. As sensitive beings, we can so easily pick up on the emotions in the air around what is happening to our Mother Earth as well as the anger and emotions from the tribes protecting their water. I wrote this message as a reminder that we are all doing our part to heal the collective...as I believe how we treat ourselves is a valid place to start in healing our world. (Scroll to the bottom of this message to read the full post). And today I have a new podcast for you, on the power of self-love. To me, self-love is about knowing how to show up for ourselves when challenges and difficulties arise. When we create that foundation of self-love, that's when we can live beyond our fears and fully share our gifts with the world, knowing that no matter what happens, we will be okay. In many ways, it's much easier to do acts of self-care like yoga practice, meditation, and healthy eating when everything is going smoothly... But if you can call upon these acts in times of challenge? That is where the real work comes in. What I share in the podcast, is a talk I wrote under the guidance of KC Baker this summer as part of her speechwriting course. (If you are planning to join me for my Celebration event, Yin Yoga, Tea & Book Reading, you may like to wait to hear it in person there.) I share the story of one of my greatest challenges, where the world felt like it was falling apart, and instead of becoming a victim to my circumstances, I chose love, awareness and forgiveness. I also write about this experience in detail in my book, Synchronicity. That single choice made in a moment of complete distress, went on to dramatically alter the course of my life. Learning how to hold myself with unconditional love allowed me to find a deep forgiveness and love without conditions for everyone around me. Choosing to love and forgive is not always easy, I know. But I believe it is a true path to miracles. I hope my story will inspire you in your own path of self-love and forgiveness. >>>Listen here
This is one of the more fun and playful readings from my book, Synchronicity. Learn more about the holy mountain of stillness and light, Mount Arunachala in the town of Tiruvannamalai, India and meet Shankara, one of the main characters of the book (who I almost instantly fall in love with)...Enjoy! In today's book reading of Synchronicity I take you back to my first month in India where I recount my time at Amma's ashram in Kerala. Amma gives a speech on the beach at the Arabian Sea on how we can give back to the whole of humanity and collaborate between religions. I then volunteer teaching English at an orphanage, and I tell the story of how I first found my voice as a yoga teacher. I believe we all have the power to transform our greatest moments of pain and suffering into our greatest moments of awakening. But I know from personal experience it is so hard to see the light when it feels like the world is crumbling beneath our feet. Today I want to share with you one of my more difficult moments in the first reading of my book, Synchronicity. (Watch the full video about it here! http://kck.st/2dTEZpS) I take you back to over six years ago where I found myself sobbing on the floor after going through total heartbreak (something that I know so many of us are familiar with). I share about the challenges and hardships I faced that eventually led me into my greatest moments of awakening...the moments where I began to live beyond my fears and follow my intuition first across the country and then to the other side of the world to India. This book is a story of finding forgiveness, of transformation, of healing and ultimately of finding love within. I look back and see my hardships as profound gifts. It was these moments that prompted my greatest awakening, and I hold them in my heart with gratitude. But today I wanted to share with you where I was and what my life was like before I found the inner peace I speak of now. If you feel called to hold the book in your hands and read the whole story of transformation, I invite you to watch the kickstarter video and contribute to the campaign : http://kck.st/2dTEZpS Supporters have a chance to receive an early signed copy of the book, coaching sessions for women on a heroine's quest, a self-care gift box, and 40 day meditation practice, among many other rewards. Check them all out right here! I hope you enjoy this podcast and opportunity to learn more about my story. Stay tuned for more podcast episodes and sneak previews of the book coming soon... I have a new podcast to share with you today on the topic of "Falling in Love with Yourself." I feel this is such an important topic because we really do need to value and love ourselves in order to live happy, fulfilled lives where we are able to give back at our fullest capacity and live up to our highest potential. Just an example from my life yesterday: I knew I wanted to sit down and record this podcast first thing, but I woke up in a terrible mood. I had a headache, my muscles were aching in my back, and overall I wasn’t feeling very positive. Just the thought of sitting down at my computer to record this podcast felt impossible. So instead of forcing myself to do what I didn’t actually have the capacity to do, I paused and checked in with myself. I knew I had a choice: I could dive into work and my to do list and probably have a pretty grumpy day... OR I could really honor and take care of myself first, even though I had a million things to do on my list. I knew I needed to slow down and take care of myself. So I tidied up my room and chose a YogaGlo class (I highly recommend Yogaglo if you struggle with keeping up a home yoga practice) and I found a class with Elena Brower on how to, "Value yourself to Master Yourself." The whole class was about taking the time to take care of yourself. I realized, "I really need to have an innate sense of value in order to take care of and fall in love with myself..." Owning my innate value has been a big part of my inner work over the last few years, and I have come a long way. Valuing myself shows up in how much money I earn, how healthy my relationships are, what I choose to wear and how I create the environment around me. What I found was: valuing myself is a choice. And you too can choose to start valuing yourself, right here, right now. After my morning yoga practice and self-care time, I felt SO much better and I sat down to record this podcast feeling so filled up with love that I couldn’t wait to share with you all. In this episode, I share: Tips and Tools that Have Helped me Fall in Love with Myself How to Move Past Resistance Around Self-love and Self-care How to Turn Self-love into an Art How to Create a Sustainable & Enjoyable Meditation Practice More information about my upcoming online course, Vision There are only 5 days left to receive $100 off when you join Vision. I hope to see you there! Warmly, Meredith
Welcome to the Rising Women Leaders podcast! “If you celebrate your differentness, the world will, too. It believes exactly what you tell it—through the words you use to describe yourself, the actions you take to care for yourself, and the choices you make to express yourself. Tell the world you are one-of-a-kind creation who came here to experience wonder and spread joy. Expect to be accommodated.” ~ Victoria Moran It's time to celebrate all we are and all we came to do. I see an awakening in women all around me, especially in the sweet, kind and nurturing ones who are ready to stand up, express themselves and share their voice. But, I know from personal experience a lot can get in the way when we step up to lead. I myself struggled with sharing my voice as a more timid and sensitive being. However, the world needs more women connected to their soft sensitive nature who are willing to be vulnerable to step up and accurately represent the needs of our world. I believe you do not need to change who you are to lead, you just need to be supported to face your fears and listen to your intuition to make a bigger impact. So...I have created my first PODCAST series for Rising Women Leaders. I will be sharing insights on how to step into courage, self-love, and leadership while staying true to our feminine nature. I'll also be interviewing leaders and entrepreneurs about how they've faced their fears, created magic in their lives and grown their businesses. The first episode is now live! SUBSCRIBE ON ITUNES In the first episode, Fearless Feminine Confidence, I share: My personal story: how I overcame my fears of public speaking to become a teacher and a leader. Why I created Rising Women Leaders and what my vision for this sisterhood. My top tips on how to tap into fearless and feminine energy to be a leader, teacher and entrepreneur.
