In this another episode of The Wholistic Vitality™ Podcast, Nathania Stambouli joins me to explore the context of transformation, empowerment, and personal growth through overcoming limiting beliefs. She shares her inspiring journey which transformed her life from feeling trapped in a corporate job to thriving as a yoga instructor and entrepreneur. Discover how Nathania's story, alongside the insightful commentary of our host, ignites a flame within, urging listeners to challenge their limiting beliefs, take bold steps towards their dreams, and live life with purpose and passion. Get ready to be motivated, empowered, and inspired to rewrite your own narrative and embark on a journey of self-discovery and growth. “Look at the urgency of your life. Life is now you don't know about tomorrow, you don't know about 15 minutes from now. So you can either give your power to your fear into your “I'm not ready”, or you can leap and you can trust that this wouldn't be showing up in front of you right now and you wouldn't be afraid of it if there wasn't freaking magic for you on the other side. So stop wasting time waiting to be ready and start getting ready by doing”- Nathania Key takeaways to explore: The significance of embracing change and stepping out of comfort zones as a crucial step towards personal growth and transformation. The importance of overcoming limiting beliefs. Nathania's journey illustrates how changing one's mindset can lead to profound life changes. The critical role of community and support in overcoming challenges and pursuing personal goals, highlighting how relationships can empower individuals to achieve greater success. The idea that physical activities, like yoga, are not just for physical well-being but are also powerful tools for mental and emotional strength, helping individuals to stand strong in other areas of life. The journey doesn't end with one change; it's about continuously adapting, learning, and growing. The concept of "life is now" encourages immediate action towards personal aspirations. They discuss how fear should not always be seen as a barrier but rather as a sign that there is significant personal growth on the other side of that fear. Nathania illustrates how teaching others not only empowers the learner but also reinforces the teacher's own growth and understanding, creating a cycle of positive reinforcement. The invitation put forth at the Interview Suite was: Let Your Voice be Heard! In total, I interviewed 71 women. I was truly fortunate to sit with women as they spoke so profoundly from their hearts about their faith-in-action toward the Parliament's themes of: a call to conscience, the support of the human rights and dignity of women, and the care of the next generations of children (which, of course includes care of our earth). This series of interviews gave me a sense of peace and reassurance. The women are activated, and their love cannot be stopped. And I believe that you will find, as I did, that listening to women speak from their fierce hearts, empowers us as women to find our own voices and to take action from our hearts as well. Lessons Learned From A Life Less Ordinary," he shares stories about times when people initially thought differently of him, and then were surprised to find out how much he has achieved. His attitude of positivity is an inspiration to all of us, and through his presentations and his writing, he continues to spread a message of "ability" rather than "disability." It is a pleasure to welcome Dr. Paul to our show to share more about his life, his message, and his book. -------- You can learn more about Dr. Paul at: justthewayyouare.com And his book is available on Amazon: https://bit.ly/3VdCvD9

Against all odds on a gridiron in South Bend, Indiana, Daniel "Rudy" Ruettiger carved his name into history books as perhaps the most inspiring graduate of the University of Notre Dame. As fans cheered "RU-DY!, RU-DY!," (which is now considered to be the underdog chant of a lifetime) this "five-foot nothin', a hundred and nothin' … without a speck of athletic ability", sacked the quarterback in the last 27 seconds of the only play in the only game of his college football career. He is the first player in the school's history to be carried off the field on the shoulders of his teammates. As the son of an oil refinery worker and third of 14 children, Rudy rose from valleys of discouragement and despair to the pinnacles of success. It took years of fierce determination to overcome obstacles and criticisms, yet Rudy achieved his first dream - to attend Notre Dame and play football for the Fighting Irish. In 1993, TRISTAR Productions immortalized Rudy's life story with the blockbuster film, RUDY. Written and directed by Angelo Pizzo and David Anspaugh, the award-winning team who brought us HOOSIERS, the critically acclaimed RUDY received "Two Thumbs Up" from Siskel and Ebert, is considered one of the "Most Inspirational Movies of All Time" by Fandango, IMDB, Ranker and countless other websites. USA TODAY ranked RUDY as the #1 "Best Football Movie of All Time." The film continues to inspire millions worldwide. Today, Rudy Ruettiger is an Emmy Award Winning Motivational Keynote Speaker, author, and producer with over 25 years of Experience speaking to Corporations, Universities, Sports Teams, and Special Events. His Captivating personality and powerful message of "NEVER QUIT" and "YES I CAN" comes from his personal experiences of adversity and triumph and lasts a lifetime. Time and time again, Rudy's appearances receive thunderous applause and standing ovations as he inspires groups of 200 to 20,000 around the world. Recently, Rudy offered his message in his orginal production, DREAM BIG: Rudy Ruettiger Live on Broadway, presented at the Samuel Friedman Theatre, along with his daughter Jessica Noel Ruettiger who made her Broadway debut performing her original song, "This Is My Dream" in the show's finale. Dream Big has plans to tour to other cities including Chicago, Boston, and Las Vegas. In Celebration of the 25th ANNIVERSARY of the Movie RUDY, the film was presented on the big screen at the Microsoft Theatre in LA while the Famous Hollywood Orchestra performed the film's musical score live in perfect time during a sold-out screening of the film. Rudy's candid nature and willingness to connect with every person he meets with a bold, refreshing and relevant message has poised him to exemplify his message in his real life, over-coming obstacles, persevering through adversity and making every second count. He is a willing, able and inspirational speaker who is looking forward to being a part of your next event. Millions have been inspired by the movie RUDY, now let the man behind the movie inspire you! https://www.rudyruettiger.com/ #collegefootball #notredame #rudymovie
For many of us, our greatest aspirations are to find success and pleasure in our lives. Owning your own business or changing careers might be goals for some people. Regardless of the objective you wish to achieve, social norms and our conditioned beliefs might occasionally prevent us from feeling we are capable of doing certain things. This is when our self-limiting ideas intervene and prevent us from progressing. Frequently, we may ask ourselves, "How precisely do we get there?" when we struggle to move past these self-limiting ideas. It might be difficult to accept that we are our constraints, even if the solution is much simpler than acknowledging that it begins and ends with us. Let's look at how you might overcome these self-limiting thoughts and develop a "Yes I Can" attitude. She hopes that with the ShineMSD Foundation, people from her community can find ways to express themselves through art and start the healing process. Many of us are familiar with messages that we should be grateful for what we have, and we may even believe it's greedy to want too much. But is it fair to limit ourselves just so we avoid rocking the boat? Maybe we actually should want more out of life, should aim higher, and should stop settling for less. We spoke with Julie Scott, a life coach and “feel-good junkie” who wants all of us to give ourselves permission to want more. It's an inspiring conversation that may push you to reach for a new goal.Julie Scott is a life coach who thrives on helping mature women prioritize their needs and gain confidence so they can stop worrying about “being enough” and start living life. A self-proclaimed “feel-good junkie,” Julie is someone who personally experienced decades of struggling with people-pleasing, over-giving, and low self-esteem, and the end of her marriage was the wake-up call she needed to change her future. By uncovering unhealthy beliefs and patterns, Julie has learned to accept, trust, and love herself, and she's helped hundreds of other women do the same through her free Facebook group and private and group coaching sessions. She also wrote the book, This Time, It's About You: A Journey From “No I Can't” to “Yes I Can!”With the pandemic and never-ending quarantine, a lot of us feel compelled to “look on the bright side” and focus on what we have instead of what we don't. This is definitely a good thing to do… to an extent. But it can also make us feel limited and prevent us from going after bigger goals. Julie encourages women to want more. What does she mean by that? How does wanting more improve women's lives? Our podcast starts with Julie's explanation. But many of us are probably thinking: Does wanting more ever lead to guilt? Indeed, with the messages we've gotten throughout life, we can feel a bit guilty for wanting too much. Julie describes some of the ways that guilt shows up in women's lives and the ways it can hold us back. Sometimes, we strive to keep others happy, even to our own detriment. As Julie discusses here, some of us become people-pleasers, valuing others' happiness over our own. How can this help us… or hinder us? How does this relate to the guilt we have about wanting more? Ultimately, we must give ourselves permission to want more. Julie has three methods for achieving this and outlines them here. After listening to this podcast, consider how you can incorporate these methods into your own life and start reaching for the stars. Once you've allowed yourself to want more, you may become what Julie calls a “feel-good junkie.” She details how wanting more led her to seeking out good feelings and how this had such a positive impact on her life. This isn't about feeling good at the expense of other important values; responsibility and care for others don't need to go by the wayside. But searching for our own joys will put us on the path to greater happiness, and we'll then spread that positivity to others. Julie offers ideas on how you can pursue those feel-good moments and experiences. Near the end of our conversation, Julie describes the value that being a “feel-good junkie” adds to her life and the lives of the women she coaches. Indeed, this mindset has resulted in Julie and her clients letting go of the things holding them back, forging ahead to learn new things, grow in their careers, and more. Imagine how open your life can be by following this mindset. After listening to this podcast, you'll want to become a feel-good junkie too!Support the show (https://p2q.link/donate)
When I first met Susan, I had been at a crossroads. Can I do this? Can I homeschool daily? Can I cover all the subjects and point my son's heart to Jesus? It wasn't a resounding yes until I took her workshop at the Texas Homeschool Coalition Conference and it became a loud boom of a YES I CAN! One of the first things I noticed was her ability to use her own experiences as a mother of 7 to breathe life into moms. She was not only encouraging but she was also practical. I loved how her encouragement didn't seem veiled in a cloak of criticism, it was genuine. I hope you enjoy this first episode where we tackle perfectionism in the homeschool, how we run our race, how to encourage others in the direction God has called them, and how to do it all well, not for pandemic, but for the long haul.

What is the silent crescendo of fear that alters our destiny? Not doing, backing off, distraction and procrastination, avoidance at any cost. It's what we don't do that tells the sorry tale of baffling fears, quietly enrobing us, robbing us of years of life lived fully. If only we said YES, YES in the moment of decision, 10 seconds of courageousness. 10 seconds is so often all it takes to conquer fear, 10 seconds of I can handle this, I've got this, 10 Seconds of YES I CAN!
