In this genre-bending sequel, Jessica Rothe reprises her role as Tree Gelbman—a resourceful college student caught in a relentless cycle of her own death. Now, as the time loop unfolds in unexpected ways, Tree must confront new anomalies and uncover the scientific mysteries behind her repeated demise, all while balancing terror with dark humor. Jessica Rothe (celebrated for her captivating performances in the original Happy Death Day and other horror hits) leads a talented cast that deepens the film's mix of nail-biting suspense and quirky comedy. The sequel ramps up the stakes with mind-bending twists—featuring unforgettable scenes such as the eerie laboratory sequences where the mechanics of the loop are revealed, and the increasingly surreal campus encounters that leave Tree—and the audience—questioning what is real and what isn't. Tara & Roxy break down every heart-pounding and hilarious moment, analyzing how Happy Death Day 2U elevates its predecessor's concept with sharper sci‑fi elements and unexpected narrative surprises. Whether you're here for the jump scares, the clever time-loop twists, or the blend of gore and giggles, this reaction and review is your ultimate guide to every chilling and comedic beat of the film. Samara stars as Sofia, a former ‘90s pop star trapped in a psychological game with an unhinged fan (Ray Nicholson), and Jimmy pulls back the curtain on making his feature directorial debut alongside his wife.We dive into the film's wild creative process, Samara's electric chemistry with Ray, and what it was like directing a film that blurs the line between love and madness. Plus, they share a hilarious (and slightly eerie) real-life story about being followed home—eerily fitting for Borderline's themes.Beyond the film, we talk The Babysitter, Cocaine Bear, and Samara's rise as a modern scream queen. Hello, Fire Fam. We're back with another 9-1-1  Mini Series episode because, frankly, too much happened in 8x09 and 8x10 to not talk about. We have to give it up for Scream Queen of the Aughts, Jennifer Love Hewitt, for fully bringing it during her latest banana nut story line, even if we have critiques about it being a little recycled. We also lament the loss the quirky procedural 911 calls from the early seasons and hope for their return to bring some levity back to the show in the midst of all this drama. But more importantly, we're here to discuss the Buddie Of It All. We explore the dramatic implications of Eddie's move to El Paso and how it affects Buck, even if Eddie isn't quite ready to truly see what's going on between them. Meanwhile, Justine doubled her money like a pro, but don't worry, she still couldn't beat the house. I won't say horror was dead in 1996 but it clearly had become stale and good scares with compelling stories were hard to come by. Blame it on Tipper Gore and the Parental Advisory movement or the fact that Hollywood was more interested in making a quick buck off aging franchises, horror in the mid 90s was just...meh. Thankfully some kid at a horror convention insulted Wes Craven by saying he wasn't scary anymore. Craven said, "Hold my beer, kid," and Scream was born. The horror community owes Scream a depth of gratitude that is unmeasured. Without Scream, I don't think horror would exist as we know it today. Anna is called the Scream Queen because she's got a great set of lungs. Anna is a bona fide Scream expert and she drives this conversation in the best direction. No matter how many times you've seen Scream, treat yourself and go watch it again before listening. You deserve it.

We've got Linda Blair! Pioneer Scream Queen, 70s and 80s Hollywood Trailblazer, Golden Globe Winner, cult classic icon, animal rights activist and humanitarian, Linda joins us for an exclusive conversation about her path to self discovery in a terrifying lane she navigated solo, carving her way towards light and purpose. Linda and Fritz share a history in philanthropy. They catch up on The Linda Blair Worldheart Foundation, dedicated to rehabilitating and rehoming abused, neglected and abandoned animals. We then trace Linda's groundbreaking history from her work as a child model to landing the controversial role of a child possessed by the devil in the film adaption of THE book of the decade, The Exorcist. Linda then faced the bumpy task of discovering self while convincing friends, fans and reporters that she was not actually demonic. She went on to define the message-driven TV movie genre in Sarah T. Portrait of a Teenage Alcoholic and  Born Innocent. But how could she say no to Exorcist II, co-starring Richard Burton?Raised in the Protestant faith, charity, benevolence and helping the voiceless were ingrained in Linda from childhood. For the past several decades she has been dedicated to animal welfare and she shares the most pressing concerns on that front: 1) Corporate owned veterinary clinics pricing pet owners out of spaying and neutering, 2) Mass euthanasia in dog shelters and 3) The outlawing and extermination of breeds deemed to be “dangerous.”We delve into Linda's experience on the set of The Exorcist where much of what was asked of her by director, William Friedkin was not healthy or appropriate for a child actor. She did share a close bond with writer, William Peter Blatty and she describes how Max Von Sydow would often hear the lines given to Linda, stop the scene, pull Billy Friedkin aside and say, “What are you doing!?” But Friedkin got what he wanted, a terrifyingly controversial film that stunned and horrified the world. A household name since the age of 14, Linda matured into a young actress with head turning, Rick themed romantic relationships, such as Rick Springfield and Rick James! Linda shares how her Pumpkin headed turn on The Masked Singer helped her solve a medical mystery. She describes her heroic rescue of 51 dogs after Hurricane Katrina and she takes on a challenging round of IMDB Roulette. Plus, Fritz and Weezy are recommending Bad Sisters on Apple TV + and the Telepathy Tapes podcast.Path Points of Interest:Linda BlairLinda Blair on WikipediaLinda Blair on InstagramLinda Blair on FacebookGoing Vegan by Linda BlairLinda Blair World Heart FoundationLinda Blair World Heart Foundation on FacebookLinda Blair World Heart Foundation on IGLinda Blair World Heart Foundation on YouTubeThe Telepathy TapesBad Sisters Trailer

It is the one year Anniversary of the reboot of the Dark Mark Show and Mark and Hannah celebrated with quite a wild show featuring legendary scream queen Deborah Dutch, sideshow madman Dangerous D. and sword swallower Cyrus Pynn Deborah talked about how a cheerleading accident led to her not pursuing a life as a ballerina (though she still can do the splits as she demonstrated), having her grandmother's friend Agnes Moorhead of Bewitched fame see her in a high school play, how dating a soft rock star (and smoking weed with a Beatle) led to her relocating to LA, where she got the lead in Bruce Lee Fights Back from the Grave. She did her own stunts and was dubbed badly in that movie and moved on from there to share the screen with Goldie Hawn, be in Miami Vice, and work with Roger Corman and get dubbed an official “Scream Queen” in the 90s. She is now working on her own sword wielding series of films “Hollywood Warrioress” Dangerous D may be married and has a newborn son, but he is by no means any less outrageous. He claims to swing his son from his ears, offered to give Mark a tattoo on the air. He also talked about his journey from Baltimore where he hit LA with $100 to his name, how he got on Ozzfest, what it takes to impress him and land a spot on his “Shock Show” troupe of performers and why he is producing Cyrus' one man show as a one-time only performance. Cyrus is also known as Cydeshow Cy and Cyrus the sword. debuting his show “Down The Hatch” in February in Los Angeles. He started juggling, fire eating, sword swallowing and doing all sorts of sideshow acts in Virginia and came out to audition for Dangerous D during a performance at Ozzfest and ended up moving in with him. Richard Linklater and Glen Powell discuss how the movie came about. Why they wrote it together on spec and how they made it with Giles Alderson & Dom Lenoir. From his debut feature "It's Impossible to Learn to Plow by Reading Books" – a film he made with almost no budget, Richard Linklater kick started his career. Shot on Super 8, and literally drove around the country screening himself – He made the cult classic "Dazed and Confused," the romantic trilogy "Before Sunrise," "Before Sunset," and "Before Midnight," the animated rotoscope experiments of "Waking Life" and "A Scanner Darkly," and the groundbreaking, 12-years-in-the-making "Boyhood," Linklater has consistently defied expectations and carved his own path with a signature style that's both intimate and epic.   From his breakout role in "Scream Queens" to his scene-stealing performance as Chad Radwell in "Everybody Wants Some!!" – Richard Linklater's ode to college life in the 80s – Glen Powell has been steadily building an impressive resume. He's charmed audiences in rom-coms like "Set It Up," and "Anyone But You" showcased his dramatic chops in the true-life war epic "Devotion," and, of course, soared to new heights as the cocky but ultimately heroic Hangman in "Top Gun: Maverick and very recently blew us away in the brilliant 'Twisters'.
