Since the end of the 19th Century, the church has been debating an issue that before that era, was not broadly contended – namely, whether or not God has faithfully preserved his word over time and between languages. For millennia Psalm 12:6 and 7 was understood to mean that God could and would protect and preserve his scriptures. …it reads “The words of the LORD [are] pure words: [as] silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. 7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.” But by the late 1800's modern academia had given rise to the critical text position, which postulated that the Bible we have, is not the Bible that God inspired. Today, the commonly held position is that God's word was captured in the original manuscripts but was lost over time by the unreliable hands of transcribers and the inherent shortcomings of the translation process. The result of this critical view has led to an emphasis on scholarship; the archaeological, anthropological, and theological pursuit of the oldest and most eclectic text to produce the most thoughtful translation. This appeal to authority has led to an ever-expanding array of bible translations, in English as well as other languages — translations for which the scholars can not definitively say are the very words of God. In queste ore si è tenuto il bilaterale, concordato dopo un intenso lavorio diplomatico, l tavolo, stando al comunicato diffuso dall'Eliseo, «questioni europee» in vista del Consiglio del 29-30 giugno e sul vertice Nato di Vilnius dell'11-12 luglio. L'allineamento è completo su tre fronti: la riforma del Patto di stabilità, il supporto a Kiev contro l'invasione russa e la tabella di marcia per l'adesione ucraina alla Nato. L'incontro però è stato utile anche per parlare di altri temi dove le distanze restano ampie: dalle Tlc, con il ruolo di Vivendi in Tim e Mediaset (Vivendi, azionista di riferimento delle due società con una quota pressoché identica, 22,9% in Mfe e 23,75% in Tim), alla Tav, all'Africa, fino alla stessa Expo. Delle due rivali di Roma, Riyad in Arabia Saudita, Busan in Corea del Sud, è la prima la più agguerrita. Macron ha già incontrato il principe saudita bin Salman e non è un mistero che la Francia simpatizzi per Riyad. Ma con Roma si è schierata l'Ue. Difficile per Parigi giustificare la decisione di smarcarsi. Materie prime critiche: cresce per l'Italia la dipendenza per le CRM - Critical Material Raw Oggi l'Ue lancia una nuova strategia per la sicurezza economica visto il nuovo "contesto di tensioni geopolitiche" ha detto la presidente della Commissione, Ursula von der Leyen, presentandola nuova strategia per la sicurezza economica europea. "Per la nostra sicurezza economica è importante proteggere, promuovere, associarsi", ha aggiunto von der Leyen che, rispondendo ad una domanda sulla Cina, ha spiegato come la nuova strategia non abbia come obiettivo un singolo Paese. E su questo spunto di cronaca torna importante ricordare che la produzione industriale italiana dipende, infatti, per 686 miliardi di euro (pari al 38% del PIL al 2022) da Paesi terzi per l'approvvigionamento dei materiali strategici. Uno scenario che mette in evidenza criticità e rischi se si pensa che, in un solo anno, tale esposizione è cresciuta del 22% (nel 2021 erano 564 miliardi di euro con un'incidenza complessiva sul PIL di circa il 33%). A tracciare questo quadro è lo studio "Le opportunità per la filiera dei RAEE all'interno del Critical Raw Materials Act" realizzato da The European House Ambrosetti e commissionato da Erion, il più importante Sistema multi-consortile italiano di Responsabilità Estesa del Produttore per la gestione dei rifiuti associati ai prodotti elettronici (RAEE Domestici, RAEE Professionali, Rifiuti di Pile e Accumulatori, Rifiuti di Imballaggi) e dei rifiuti di prodotti del tabacco. "Per un terzo delle Materie Prime Critiche censite l'UE è totalmente dipendente (100%) dalle importazioni di Paesi terzi. La dipendenza, unita alla crescente domanda e alla rilevanza delle Materie Prime Critiche in tecnologie chiave, rende vulnerabili le catene del valore" ha dichiarato Lorenzo Tavazzi, Partner di The European House - Ambrosetti. La Germania, che nel 2022 ha registrato il valore assolutomaggiore (1.074 miliardi), è al 32%, la Spagna (con 299 miliardi di produzione) al 23%, la Francia con 230 al 10%. Approfondiamo il tema con Danilo Bonato, Direttore generale di Erion Compliance Organization. Ey, Italia più attrattiva, crescono gli investimenti esteri L'Italia conferma nel 2022 il trend positivo come destinazione di investimenti diretti esteri, con la realizzazione di 243 progetti e un incremento annuo del 17%. Un dato superiore rispetto a quello delle tre maggiori economie europee, Germania, Regno Unito e Francia, che pur continuando ad attrarre la maggior parte dei flussi, il 50% del totale in Europa, registrano performance al di sotto delle aspettative, rispettivamente -1%, -6% e +3%. È quanto emerge dall'Ey Europe Attractiveness Survey 2023 che evidenzia come i servizi B2B e il comparto IT, con il 19% e il 16% degli investimenti, siano risultati i settori più attrattivi per gli investitori stranieri in Italia. Il rapporto di EY è stato presentato nel corso dell EY Italy Outlook 2023 al quale hanno partecipato diversi ministri. Il ministro delle Imprese e del Made in Italy Urso, ad esempio, ha ricordato che "al momento è l'Italia, accanto alla Polonia, la locomotiva d'Europa. Il fatto che la Germania sia in recessione è anche un nostro problema. Per noi Berlino è un principale partner per esportazioni e investimenti esteri in Italia, ma anche per presenza di turisti tedeschi nel nostro Paese". Buon andamento della crescita che però è legata a doppio filo a l buon esito dei progetti del Pnrr come ha ricordato, sempre durante lo stesso evento, il presidente di Confindustria, Carlo Bonomi. In this episode, we talk to Annie Hanauer and Erion Kruja about Creating an Identity. For many dancers it's a dream to secure a long term contract within a prestigious dance company, but there comes a time when it just feels right to move on. So what happens when you fly that nest – leaving the safety of a regular wage, daily class, regular performance opportunities and the companionship of like-minded company members? How do you build that support infrastructure for yourself – at the same time as having to find the funding, secure commissions, and rebrand as an independent? We start off by finding out more about life with Candoco (from Annie) and with Hofesh Shechter Company (from Erion) and how they came to make the decision to leave. We discuss the support infrastructure and development opportunities they had whilst still a member of the company and what that looks like now that they are making work independently. We talk a bit about the type of work a body wants to make when it has been a tool for other choreographers for so long and both of our guests offer suggestions for what's needed to better develop and support independent dance makers of today. As we very often do, we talk about language definitions and discuss the feeling of living across both an ‘emerging' and ‘established' description. We talk about the implied hierarchy of dancers and choreographers (the inaccurate expectation that everyone wants to ‘graduate' to becoming a maker) and this leads us onto broader discussions about labelling where Annie shares the frustrations she experiences of being boxed up into the ‘disabled dancer' category, and what it's taking for her to mentally and physically break out of that box. Annie sent us some further thoughts on the subject – don't miss her PS at the end of the episode. And finally, we talk about the differences between the offer here in the UK and internationally and what we can be doing as dance organisations to better support the lifeblood of our art form. Guest Speakers: Erion & Jonida Vogli Erion and Jonida Vogli are native Albanian believers who were saved in the early 90's after the fall ofcommunism in Albania, under the ministry of missionary Jeff Bartell. From the early days, God put a desire in their hearts to study the scriptures, to teach them to otherbelievers and serve in various ministries at Tirana Bible Baptist Church. They moved to the US to complete their college education and have served in church planting, Bibleteaching and training both in the States and in Albania. Recently God has put in their hearts a desire to take on a new ministry, to produce an accurate translation of the Bible in the Albanian language. After the fall of communism, a Bible translation was done in record time to produce a Bible that Albanian-speaking people could read in their language since a complete Bible did not exist until then. Unfortunately, while that served as a good start, it also had many issues which would be visited later in a revision. The revision done a few years later introduced even more problems and today there is still not an accurate translation of God's word in Albanian. The Bible translation work begins in September 2021. Alongside the translation of the Bible, they aim toproduce a dictionary of the Bible, a website in Albanian with the new translation with advanced searchand study tools, and smartphone applications with the new translation. In August 2021 I interviewed Erion Veliaj, the Mayor of Tirana. He explained me why Tirana is interesting for tourists. Extrait du début de l'interview (traduite en français) : Pourquoi Tirana est-elle une ville intéressante pour les touristes ? Erion Veliaj : « C'est officiellement la capitale la plus jeune d'Europe donc c'est une ville jeune et dynamique. Ensuite, dans le contexte de Covid, l'Albanie est un des rares pays ouverts à tous les touristes en ce moment puisqu'on ne leur demande pas de test PCR ni d'attestation de vaccination à l'arrivée en Albanie. C'est parce que nous avons vacciné la majorité de la population. Nous ne portons pas de masques non plus, ni à l'extérieur, ni à l'intérieur, pour les mêmes raisons. C'est quand même agréable… Le patrimoine historique hétéroclite de Tirana est une autre bonne raison de visiter la ville. Par exemple, sur la place Skanderbeg, la place principale de la ville, vous pouvez aussi bien voir des bâtiments de l'époque fasciste construits pendant les années Mussolini que des édifices remontant à l'époque des Ottomans puisque la plus ancienne mosquée ottomane d'Albanie se trouve sur cette place. Non loin de là se trouvent la cathédrale orthodoxe et la cathédrale catholique. Cela montre aussi l'harmonie entre les religions et les communautés dans notre pays. C'est un bel exemple à suivre pour le reste des pays d'Europe je trouve. »

Francesca Riolzi, rappresentante degli studenti dell'IIS Istituto tecnico professionale Machiavelli di Pioltello, racconta come la Nazionale Hip Hop abbia contribuito a sensibilizzare sulla necessità di effettuare delle raccolte fondi per sostenere alcune cause locali. La raccolta di RAEE rappresenta un grosso problema in Italia, per questo motivo Erion ha deciso di porre 64 domande al Governo attraverso un libro, con l’intento di proporre delle soluzioni a questa criticità: ne discutiamo insieme a Danilo Bonato, direttore generale dell’organizzazione.
