TESTO DELL'ARTICOLO ➜ http://www.bastabugie.it/it/articoli.php?id=6767IL GREENPASS E LE MINACCE ''MISERICORDIOSE'' A SACERDOTI E FEDELIdi Luisella ScrosatiA macchia d'olio.

What does Rem Pitlick Mean for Victor Rask's Future?

Locked On Wild - Daily Podcast On The Minnesota Wild

Play Episode Listen Later Oct 6, 2021 36:03

On today's episode of Locked on Wild, we start the show looking at the acquisition of Rem Pitlick. Could this mean that Victor Rask is either the last forward on the roster or is just put on waivers? Pitlick appears to be more of a 4th line guy, and if he's kept it could also mean a promotion for Nico Sturm to the 3rd line. The bottom line is that this move appears to be the precursor to another move to come, so stay tuned to see what Bill Guerin does next! We start our season expectations portion of the show with the guy who arguably has the most to prove in Jordan Greenway. We look at his most recent comments after Monday's preseason game as well as Dean Evason's reaction to his performance. We look at what would be considered a successful season for Greenway, and really it comes down to him finally meeting the expectations that have been set for him. Can he finally use his size and turn his line into a defensive problem for opponents? Can Greenway also unlock his offensive potential and provide a double digit goal, 40 to 50 point season? We will have to wait and see, but there is at least some concern he just does what he has the last few years and starts hot but cools off considerably. For Ryan Hartman, can he keep the Greenway-Foligno line flowing with Joel Eriksson Ek getting promoted to the top line? With his play against Vegas in the playoffs last year and so far in the preseason, there is no reason to suggest Hartman isn't capable of being a great center for those two. Will his increased level of play lead to more production on the ice? That might be the biggest question for Hartman this season, but if his linemates can step up he won't be under as much pressure to equal what Eriksson Ek provided last year. We finish with season expectations for Marcus Foligno. Can Foligno equal his absolutely torrid production pace from last season? If he even comes close to that level again the Wild will be sitting great with another line providing great production other than the Kaprizov line. We really don't have any questions with Foligno, so long as he can stay on the ice for a full season and dish out justice to opponents any time they step out of line. Foligno seems primed for a big season, the only question is will he be able to do it and will he gel with a new center on his line? Angeline was born to the Duke of Marsciano near Orvieto. She was 12 when her mother died. Three years later, the young woman made a vow of perpetual chastity. That same year, however, she yielded to her father's decision that she marry the Duke of Civitella. Her husband agreed to respect her previous vow. When he died two years later, Angeline joined the Secular Franciscans and with several other women dedicated herself to caring for the sick, the poor, widows and orphans. When many other young women were attracted to Angeline's community, some people accused her of condemning the married vocation. Legend has it that when she came before the King of Naples to answer these charges, she had burning coals hidden in the folds of her cloak. When she proclaimed her innocence and showed the king that these coals had not harmed her, he dropped the case. Angeline and her companions later went to Foligno, where her community of Third Order sisters received papal approval in 1397. She soon established 15 similar communities of women in other Italian cities. Angeline died on July 14, 1435, and was beatified in 1825. Her liturgical feast is celebrated on July 13. Reflection Priests, sisters and brothers cannot be signs of God's love for the human family if they belittle the vocation of marriage. Angeline respected marriage, but felt called to another way of living out the gospel. Her choice was life-giving in its own way. Saint of the Day Copyright Franciscan Media

Former Columbus Blue Jackets Captain, NICK FOLIGNO joins Bob and John while he is in quarantine.  The three talk about what it was like for Nick to be traded as the leader of a franchise, the high expectations set in Toronto and how he can help the team in the playoffs.  Nick also gives us a little insight on who John Tortorella is as a person and a coach, and what role he expects to have as a Maple Leaf as he makes the transition to the North Division. We also find out if Nick has "re-kindled the flame" with his former teammate in Ottawa, Jason Spezza, and who he is most excited to play with in Toronto.

The Chirp with Daren Millard

Daren is joined by Nick Foligno (3:00). Foligno talks about the emotions he felt when he found out he was being traded to Toronto and just how excited he is to join the franchise his dad played for and he rooted for as a kid. He discusses the logistics of quarantining and explains what it was like for him and his family on Trade Deadline day. He looks back on his time in Columbus with fond memories, but also talks about how rejuvenated he feels to be joining a competitive Maple Leafs squad. As a former captain, he talks about playing with veterans and leaders like Tavares, Thornton and Spezza and describes how pumped up he is to play with such top-not talent in Matthews and Marner. He shares some of his memories of rooting for the Maple Leafs as a kid, and explains how excited his father is for him to be joining the franchise. Ever wonder what happens on team text chats when a player is traded? Nick also discusses that, as well as so much more.
