Google is reportedly ready to make its Pixel phones in India, starting with the Pixel 8 to be assembled at a Foxconn International plant in Tamil Nadu. Tarun Pathak, research director at Counterpoint Technology Market Research, and Navkendar Singh, associate vice president at IDC India, unpack the big picture here. Google is starting small, but has the heft to scale in a massive market by sheer numbers that is far from saturated. The long-term play is also about tapping the maturing electronics ecosystem in India over the next decade and beyond.

In this video, I give my unique takes on optimizations Google says not to focus on, but I disagree in some cases based on my experience! I explain why tactics like meta keywords or internal link sculpting may seem outdated, but could still aid SEO with the right approach. And while extreme keyword density is bad, higher density often correlates with better rankings in my testing. I also break down the gray areas around subdomains vs subdirectories, duplicate content issues, optimizing headings, and more. Just because Google deems something ineffective doesn't mean it can't work with finesse! I share opinions derived from extensive hands-on work - not just relying on Google guidance. Because search algorithms interacting with the real world require going beyond simplifications. Check out my contrarian SEO perspectives, examine the evidence yourself, and form your own conclusions. I hate to say I told you so. Well, actually I like saying it because I enjoy being right. So I am very much enjoying the most recent announcement by Google that they are going to put even more emphasis on the quality of content on your website. They're going to penalize people with low quality, irrelevant and duplicate content. So if you're purchasing content from a third party and that content is published on multiple sites with little or no change before it gets to your site you are putting your site at risk. Not only will that that post be penalized, but you may site your entire website penalized. Why am I happy about this? Because, for the last 15 years I've been telling people the key is good high quality content that answers real questions and gives people relevant information. That content will not only satisfy visitors but search engines tool. So, this latest announcement by Google simply backs me up. Money2Byrne Pocket Change is a mini episode of our full episode with one topic, it's for those on the go who want a quick show. Google is one of the largest companies on earth. The term Google has become part of popular culture and people now use it as a verb rather then to describe a product. On this episode of pocket change we look at the ramifications this could have not be TM Google as it did on various other Companies such as Dumpster. Google gets over 3.5 billion searches a day and is the worlds most popular website.
