Las causas hay que ir a buscarlas a que en enero el Gobierno redujo a la mitad la exención fiscal de los híbridos enchufables y recortó las ayudas al desguace, en marzo la guerra de Irán disparó el precio de la gasolina y hundió la demanda de los vehículos de combustión interna. Hay además un desempleo juvenil muy alto y los consumidores aplazan ciertas compras ante la incertidumbre. BYD ha visto caer su beneficio a la mitad y fabricantes menores, como XPeng, pierden dinero en un mercado muy atomizado como el chino. Hoy más que ofertas tratan de vender tecnología, pero eso no resuelve el problema de fondo, hay demasiada capacidad de producción y a una demanda interna que se encoge. La válvula de escape es la exportación. Este año China ha llegado a embarcar 785.000 vehículos en un solo mes y podría exportar este año hasta diez millones de turismos. El primer obstáculo con el que se han encontrado es logístico. Los buques portavehículos escasean, el flete medio ha pasado de 42.000 a 70.000 dólares diarios pese a que la flota de este tipo de barcos se ha incrementado mucho. Los fabricantes improvisan metiendo coches en contenedores o en unas estanterías izadas con grúa desde la bodega de cargueros convencionales. BYD, fiel a su integración vertical, ya tiene ocho barcos propios. La subida del combustible ha empujado al eléctrico justo cuando China tenía excedente. Sus exportaciones de eléctricos crecieron un 120% en el primer semestre de 2026, han duplicado las ventas en Brasil y Australia y las han multiplicado por cuatro en Colombia. Las marcas chinas controlan ya el 60% de los eléctricos en países emergentes, donde se concentrará el 60% de la demanda mundial de la próxima década, y donde el comprador primerizo puede saltarse la gasolina como en su día se saltó el teléfono fijo para pasar directamente al móvil. Pero el gran premio es Europa. Los aranceles que aprobaron en Bruselas hace dos años no han frenado nada. En junio cinco marcas chinas sumaron el 12% de las matriculaciones en la UE y el Reino Unido. La Comisión Europea prepara una ley de aceleración industrial que ataría las ayudas al cumplimiento de umbrales de componentes locales. Cuando la ley llegue, si es que llega, las fábricas chinas ya llevarán años en Europa. BYD abrirá una factoría en Hungría, SAIC en Galicia, Chery en la antigua planta de Nissan en Barcelona, Leapmotor ha cerrado un acuerdo con Stellantis y Geely con Ford para su planta de Valencia. Desde la gestión de catástrofes como la DANA hasta la revolución robótica del Tow Track y la física del rescate del coche eléctrico. Vemos sus potentes destellos amarillos parpadeando en la penumbra de la autovía, recortados contra la bionda protectora, y sentimos un suspiro de alivio en el pecho. Para cualquier conductor que ha quedado inmovilizado en la carretera, la llegada de la grúa de auxilio representa el fin de la incertidumbre y el inicio del retorno a la seguridad. Sin embargo, para la persona que desciende de esa cabina de asistencia, ese preciso instante marca el comienzo de una maniobra de altísimo riesgo físico y psicológico. Para poner en valor, escuchar y actualizar técnicamente a estos profesionales indispensables, MAPFRE y su centro de investigación y desarrollo, CESVIMAP (en Ávila), han celebrado unas jornadas técnicas y relacionales sin precedentes. Un evento que ha reunido a más de 50 grandes representantes de empresas de auxilio en carretera de toda España —empresas que van desde pequeños núcleos familiares con dos plataformas hasta flotas consolidadas de más de 100 vehículos en circulación—. 1. El "Real Madrid" de la asistencia europea: métricas que salvan vidas La asistencia en carretera en España cuenta con unos estándares de calidad que son la envidia de todo el continente europeo. Mientras que en la mayoría de países de la Unión Europea los tiempos de espera medios superan con creces los 45 minutos en el mejor de los casos, la red española funciona a un nivel de precisión asombroso. "En Madrid capital estamos tardando una media de 28 minutos en llegar a un vehículo averiado o accidentado", destaca Alejandro Arias, gerente de Grúas del Toro (una flota madrileña con 58 unidades de asistencia). "¡En una urbe de 5 millones de habitantes, ni una pizza a domicilio te llega en 28 minutos! Y si se trata de un accidente grave, somos capaces de personarnos en la escena en apenas 12 o 15 minutos gracias a una infraestructura perfectamente coordinada". Estas cifras se traducen en unos niveles de satisfacción del cliente excepcionales. Francisco Javier Cobos, responsable de MAPFRE, detalla las métricas de un servicio donde el error no es una opción: • Net Promoter Score (NPS): Se sitúa en un excelente 75 (una métrica donde los clientes evalúan con sobresaliente el servicio). • Índice de satisfacción global: Un 9,2 sobre 10 de valoración media por parte de los asegurados. • Reseñas y reputación digital: Entre un 4,8 y un 4,9 sobre 5 en las plataformas de valoración independientes. "Los gruistas y operadores telefónicos son la primera imagen de la marca en el momento más vulnerable del cliente", explica José María Cáncer, director general de CESVIMAP. "Por ello, no les pedimos únicamente que sepan conducir un camión pesado; les exigimos empatía, mano izquierda con personas que a menudo están muy estresadas, y una capacidad absoluta para tomar decisiones rápidas bajo presión". 2. "Afeitar" la muerte en el arcén: la cruda realidad del riesgo de atropello Detrás de las luces parpadeantes y la profesionalidad del servicio se esconde una de las profesiones con mayor tasa de siniestralidad y mortalidad en carretera, compartiendo el trágico podio con los operarios de mantenimiento de carreteras y los agentes de las fuerzas y cuerpos de seguridad del Estado. David Tienenzar, un experimentado gruista autónomo que coordina un equipo de 15 personas en Chinchilla de Albacete, relata un episodio que le acompaña en el recuerdo de cada noche de lluvia: "Estaba cargando un vehículo averiado en mitad de la autovía, completamente de noche y bajo un fuerte aguacero. La asegurada ya estaba a salvo dentro de mi cabina y yo me acerqué un segundo a coger el libro de partes de la plataforma. De repente, vi venir un camión de gran tonelaje que circulaba desviado. Solo me dio tiempo a encogerme y meterme en el estrecho hueco entre mi cabina y la plataforma. El camión pasó tan pegado que no llegó a arrancar mi espejo retrovisor, pero la propia fuerza del rebufo del aire lo dobló por completo hacia delante. Pasó a escasos centímetros de mí. A la mujer que estaba dentro de la cabina le dio un ataque de pánico y rompió a llorar de forma incontenible. Si no llego a reaccionar en una décima de segundo, hoy no estaría aquí contándolo". La falta de atención de los conductores en la carretera —provocada en su inmensa mayoría por el uso del teléfono móvil o la manipulación del GPS— es el gran enemigo de los gruistas. Ángel Palmero, que gestiona una flota en Granada, comparte otra dolorosa vivencia familiar: "A mi hermano, mientras cargaba un turismo, un coche que iba distraído le arrancó el espejo retrovisor directamente contra sus costillas. Se salvó de milagro, pero estuvo tres semanas sin poder moverse de la cama". Ante esta alarmante desprotección, el sector reclama a gritos una mayor concienciación social y medidas institucionales de calado: 1. La regla de los 2 metros: Exigen que, al ver una grúa con los rotativos encendidos trabajando en el arcén, los conductores reduzcan la velocidad y dejen al menos 2 metros de separación física, desplazándose obligatoriamente al carril izquierdo si la circulación lo permite. 2. Uso de luces de emergencia: Reclaman la equipación de señales luminosas azules, equivalentes a las de ambulancias y policía, para que los conductores identifiquen de inmediato el peligro a larga distancia. El veredicto sobre la baliza V16 conectada El debate sobre la obligatoriedad de la baliza V16 conectada en sustitución de los tradicionales triángulos de preseñalización fue un punto de fuerte consenso negativo entre los profesionales que pisan el asfalto a diario: "La V16 ha sido básicamente un impuesto añadido para el consumidor, pero no aporta una seguridad vial real sobre el terreno", afirma tajante David Record, con 38 años de experiencia en la asistencia en el área metropolitana de Barcelona (Sant Joan Despí). "De día no se ve absolutamente nada, con niebla es invisible y de noche tiene una potencia lumínica bajísima porque funciona con una pila de 9 voltios que con el frío y el calor del habitáculo se degrada rápidamente". Los gruistas coinciden en que los triángulos tradicionales, colocados correctamente a una distancia de seguridad previa, avisan de la presencia del obstáculo mucho antes de que el conductor llegue a la curva o al cambio de rasante. Su consejo unánime de supervivencia para el ciudadano es tajante: "En caso de avería en vía rápida, no se quede dentro del coche a esperar que la V16 le salve. Póngase el chaleco reflectante, salga de inmediato por la puerta de la derecha y colóquese de pie al otro lado de la valla de protección o en lo alto del arcén. No le dé jamás la espalda a la carretera". 3. Héroes de barro: Grúas Jordán y la noche que la DANA lo inundó todo Las jornadas de Ávila sirvieron también para rendir un emotivo homenaje a los operadores que se convirtieron en auténticos salvavidas comunitarios durante catástrofes extremas, como la DANA que asoló la Comunidad Valenciana. Javier Lozano, jefe de tráfico de Grúas Jordán, narra cómo vivieron las primeras horas de una catástrofe que sumió a la región en el caos absoluto: "Aquella tarde no caía ni una sola gota de agua en nuestra base, pero en cuestión de minutos empezó a subir un auténtico río de fango que anegó nuestras instalaciones. Estaba en la oficina con dos compañeras de trabajo y, viendo el peligro, lo primero que hicimos fue subir a hombros los servidores informáticos a la planta superior. Gracias a esa decisión de emergencia, pudimos mantener nuestros sistemas operativos y seguir coordinando los servicios telefónicos sin parar ni un solo minuto de dar soporte". A pesar de que Grúas Jordán perdió 10 camiones pesados bajo el agua y sus naves quedaron completamente inutilizadas, el equipo humano continuó coordinando el tráfico de emergencias en turnos extenuantes de 24 horas. "Los conductores de otras provincias de la red de MAPFRE se volcaron con nosotros. Vinieron grúas de toda España a arrimar el hombro en la zona cero. Estuvimos semanas sin descansar, sacando vehículos del lodo, abriendo pasos y ayudando a restablecer una mínima normalidad cuando la administración aún no había podido llegar al terreno". 4. La revolución del 'Tow Track': rescatar un coche sin tocar el habitáculo Uno de los talleres que mayor expectación levantó entre los asistentes fue la demostración dinámica del Tow Track, un revolucionario equipo de arrastre y extracción de vehículos distribuido por Automoción Ibérica en España y Portugal. Se trata de un robot de tracción sobre orugas con un motor de combustión o eléctrico, manejado de forma remota por el operario mediante un mando a distancia. Su diseño está concebido para resolver situaciones extremadamente complejas en entornos donde una grúa de plataforma convencional o de palas no puede acceder físicamente: • Garajes subterráneos: Espacios con techos muy bajos de apenas 1,80 metros o rampas helicoidales estrechas donde es imposible maniobrar. • Vehículos bloqueados: Coches eléctricos o automáticos con las cuatro ruedas bloqueadas electrónicamente que no se pueden arrastrar sin destrozar la transmisión. • Terrenos hostiles: Zonas de barro, arena de playa, lodo, nieve o caminos forestales pedregosos donde la oruga distribuye el peso de manera uniforme, logrando una tracción asombrosa sin patinar. Durante la demostración práctica en CESVIMAP, un operario cargó sin esfuerzo un Mercedes-Benz Clase A AMG —un turismo deportivo con una distancia libre al suelo de apenas 12 centímetros— sin necesidad de entrar al habitáculo ni tocar el freno de mano. El sistema dispone de un doble raíl superior e inferior que abraza los neumáticos traseros y delanteros, elevando el coche de forma milimétrica en un proceso extremadamente seguro. "El equipo tiene un coste aproximado de unos 75.000 euros, pero su durabilidad supera holgadamente los 20 años de servicio en las condiciones más duras", detalla Rubén Sánchez, representante de la marca. "La ventaja en rentabilidad es incuestionable: un rescate complejo en un garaje que antes requería 4 horas de maniobras peligrosas con gatos y carros, ahora se resuelve en apenas 45 minutos de forma limpia y segura para el operario, que controla todo el perímetro a distancia". 5. El reto del coche eléctrico: el "chef del alto voltaje" y la cuarentena de 48 horas La electrificación del parque automovilístico introduce nuevas variables físicas y térmicas en el trabajo diario de la asistencia. Para dar respuesta a estos retos, el experto e instructor de CESVIMAP, Jorge Jiménez, impartió una clase magistral sobre los protocolos de intervención segura en vehículos eléctricos accidentados o averiados: "Si el coche eléctrico no ha sufrido un impacto estructural en su chasis y el sistema de alta tensión está intacto, el procedimiento de carga es idéntico al de un coche térmico tradicional", explica Jiménez. "El problema real surge cuando nos enfrentamos a un vehículo accidentado con daños graves en los bajos de la carrocería". Durante el taller, se mostraron las entrañas abiertas de la batería de 400 voltios de un Porsche Taycan, así como los sistemas de motorización eléctrica de un Renault 5 y un Leapmotor chino recién incorporado a las bases de pruebas de CESVI Recambios. Los operarios aprendieron a localizar el desconectador físico de alta tensión siguiendo las especificaciones de la Hoja de Rescate del fabricante y a solventar problemas comunes de software, como abrir el capó de un vehículo eléctrico sin llave física (como Volvo o Tesla) induciendo tensión externa de 12 voltios a través del espadín del paragolpes para liberar el maletero delantero. El uso correcto de las mantas antiincendios María del Mar, especialista en seguridad corporativa de MAPFRE, aportó una visión crítica sobre el uso de las mantas ignífugas en caso de incendio de la batería de litio: "La manta antiincendios es un elemento extraordinario de prevención y confinamiento, pero jamás se debe arriesgar la vida para colocarla en un coche que ya tiene un fuego plenamente desarrollado y descontrolado", advierte. "Desplegar una manta requiere de un mínimo de tres o cuatro personas coordinadas, espacio suficiente alrededor del coche y que el calor no sea extremo. Su uso ideal para el sector de la grúa y el taller es preventivo: colocarla sobre un coche eléctrico sospechoso que ha tenido un impacto severo y dejarlo en cuarentena controlada durante 48 horas en una zona abierta antes de proceder a su reparación". Empatía sobre ruedas La jornada celebrada en Ávila concluyó con una innovadora dinámica de intercambio de roles destinada a potenciar la empatía entre las dos puntas de la línea telefónica de asistencia. Los operadores que atienden las llamadas de emergencia en la oficina se subieron a las plataformas de las grúas para sentir la tensión física del arcén y las dificultades de señalización, mientras que los gruistas experimentaron la complejidad de descifrar las pólizas, calmar a un cliente desorientado y localizar con precisión un coche parado en mitad de la nada. Como bien resume Emilio Luces, subdirector de CESVIMAP: "Este sector es una inmensa cadena humana de empresas de carácter familiar que demuestran una vocación de servicio increíble en situaciones de gran dureza. Lo que ellos mejoran en su día a día, lo mejoramos todos en la carretera". Respete su trabajo, apártese de carril al ver sus luces en el arcén y colabore para que estos ángeles de metal puedan seguir regresando sanos y salvos a sus hogares cada noche. “El verdadero viaje es el que termina como comenzó, con felicidad e inocencia” Feliz viaje hasta el próximo programa. _______________________________________

Heute sprechen wir über den Leapmotor B10, da wollte ich doch mal wissen, was der Name bedeutet. Also Leapmotor. Da konnte mir auch die KI nicht weiterhelfen, immerhin wusste sei, dass Leapmotor ein chinesischer Hersteller von Elektrofahrzeugen mit Sitz in Hangzhou ist, der 2015 gegründet wurde und ein Joint Venture mit dem Autokonzern Stellantis hat. Ein Englisch – Deutsch Übersetzungstool sagt, es hieße übersetzt „Sprungmotor“. Angesichts der Beschleunigung könnte das sogar stimmen. Wieso der Begriff aus dem Westfriesischen kommen soll, ist mir aber ein Rätsel! Darum geht es diesmal!Ab und zu sticht mich bei der Erstellung meiner Fahrberichte der Hafer, dann kann ich mir einen Gag nicht verkneifen. Also: Stellen Sie sich mal vor, Ihnen kommt auf der B10 ein B10 entgegen. Das erste B10 steht für eine ca. 240 Kilometer lange Bundesstraße im Südwesten Deutschlands. Das zweite für ein Elektrofahrzeug aus dem Hause Leapmotor. Und da man bei Elektroautos immer über die Reichweite spricht, folgt später noch eine amüsante Rechnung.  Das Outfit!Das elektrische C-SUV wurde von Leapmotor für Europa konzipiert, sein Exterieur ist ausdrucksstark. Es vereint elegante Kurven und klare, dynamische Linien zu einem markanten, modernen und jungen Look. Testfahrten auf dem renommierten italienischen Testgelände Balocco haben das untermauert.  Power und Drive!    Kommen wir zum B10 auf der B10 und zu der besagten Rechnung zurück.  Wenn besagter Leapmotor B10 mit einer kleinen Batterie ausgestattet ist, schaffen Sie die B10 einmal hin und ein ganzes Stück zurück mit einer Ladung. Mit der großen Batterie fehlt nur ein kleines Stück beim Rückweg. In Zahlen ausgedrückt sprechen wir von Reichweiten von 361 bzw. 434 Kilometern WLTP-Reichweite. Der B10 wird immer von einem hocheffizienten Elektromotor mit 160 kW (218 PS) angetrieben, der den Wagen aus dem Reich der Mitte in nur 8 Sekunden von 0 auf 100 km/h und auf eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 170 km/h beschleunigt. Leapmotor hat ihn unter anderem mit 17 ADAS-Funktionen und einem 360°-Kamerasystem ausgestattet. Thị trường xe hơi và nay là xe điện (electric car-EV) của Anh có truyền thống bị quốc tế hóa từ lâu, với các tập đoàn Nhật, Hàn, Pháp, Đức và Trung Quốc. Nhưng gần đây, sự xuất hiện của xe Trung Quốc và xe nhãn hiệu châu Âu nhưng do công ty Trung Quốc đầu tư sản xuất trở thành hiện tượng nổi bật. Các dòng xe Trung Quốc vào Anh tăng nhanh tới mức nào và tại sao người Anh ưa chuộng xe Trung Quốc? Theo các tạp chí chuyên ngành, từ năm 2024 đến hết 2025, xe hơi mới do Trung Quốc sản xuất đăng ký sử dụng ở Anh đã tăng gần gấp đôi, từ 100 nghìn xe lên gần 200 nghìn, chiếm khoảng 10% xe hơi đăng ký mới ở Anh (2 triệu xe). Điều đáng nói là số bán rất ngoạn mục thể hiện ba điều đặc biệt. Một là các nhãn hiệu xe Trung Quốc từ chỗ mấy năm trước không ai biết đến mà nay đã rất phổ biến. Các tạp chí xe, chương trình TV, mạng xã hội đều tham gia quảng cáo xe Trung Quốc rất mạnh. Thứ hai là xe Trung Quốc rất đa dạng về chủng loại, về nhãn hiệu chứ không phải chỉ có vài loại từ một nước. Ví dụ như Pháp thường bán sang Anh xe Peugeot, Renault, Nhật thì có Nissan, Toyota, Mazda...Xe Trung Quốc ngay lập tức có ít nhất hơn 10 loại, từ các tập đoàn khác nhau. Thứ ba là Trung Quốc dẫn đầu về số xe điện EV đăng ký ở Anh. Nếu tính xe Trung Quốc và cả các dòng xe châu Âu nhưng thực tế là sản xuất, lắp ráp, đặt pin ở Trung Quốc, thì tới 27,9% xe EV bán ở Anh là đến từ Trung Quốc. Cụ thể hơn, các dòng xe Trung Quốc đang ồ ạ vào Anh là gì? Sức cạnh tranh là nhờ rẻ hơn xe các nước khác, hay có gì nổi trội nữa? Tạp chí xe Motorpoint nêu ra 26 nhãn hiệu xe Trung Quốc hàng đầu đã và sắp vào Anh (26 Chinese car brands coming for the UK market), trong đó có tới 18 nhãn hiệu đã được bán ở Anh. Nổi bật nhất là 4 loại xe: ·       Chery Tiggo 8: Được trang Carwow ở Anh bình chọn là Xe của Năm. Chiếc SUV gia đình hybrid cắm sạc (PHEV) này gây ấn tượng với khoang cabin cảm giác cao cấp, tính thực dụng và mức giá cạnh tranh. ·       MG4 EV: Được trang What Car? khen là xe điện nhỏ tốt nhất. Các chuyên gia đánh giá là lái ổn, giá rẻ và phạm vi dùng pin khá rộng. ·       BYD Dolphin Surf: Được Auto Express nhấn mạnh là một trong những xe điện đô thị hàng đầu, có cabin rộng rãi, trang thiết bị phong phú và giá khởi điểm chưa tới 19 nghìn bảng Anh. ·       Jaecoo 7: Từng bị phê phán trên các tạp chí xe hơi Anh, chiếc SUV gia đình dẻo dai này đã trở thành cơn sốt doanh số lớn ở Vương quốc Anh nhờ kiểu dáng sắc nét và khoang cabin công nghệ cao.. Ngoài ra còn Xpeng 6, Changan, SkyWell là các nhãn mác khác đang dần vào Anh... Xe TQ cạnh tranh tốt nhờ giá thấp, từ 3-5 nghìn bảng mỗi chiếc xe mới cùng hạng. Xin so sánh một chút: Những ai sử dụng một số đồ điện như nồi cơm điện của Xiaomi và đồng hồ điện tử của hãng này nên biết là Xiaomi cũng làm xe hơi động cơ điện và xe này sẽ tới Anh nay mai. Hàng điện tử, từ loa đài, điện thoại thông minh, đồ gia dụng Trung Quốc bán ở Anh đều rẻ hơn 10-15%, đôi khi 20% so với hàng châu Âu. Xe hơi và xe điện cũng vậy. Ví dụ, MG HS của TQ cạnh tranh đồng hạng với Kia Sportage, nhưng bán với giá rẻ hơn, từ 6 đến 8 nghìn bảng. Người Anh nay đã biết nền tảng cơ khí và công nghiệp Trung Quốc quá mạnh, nên một công ty làm điện thoại, đồng hồ cũng có thể chuyển sang làm ô-tô chỉ trong một vài năm. Người ta nói ở Trung Quốc sản xuất xe hơi nay như làm bánh mì vậy. Tại sao ngành ô-tô Trung Quốc chọn Anh? Lý do đầu tiên là thương chiến Mỹ-Trung và Liên Hiệp Châu Âu (EU)-Trung Quốc. Anh là nước duy nhất không áp thuế cao lên xe EV của Trung Quốc nên khi bán vào Anh, các hãng Trung Quốc có biên độ lợi nhuận khác hẳn với việc bán vào Hoa Kỳ và EU. Ví dụ, xe điện Trung Quốc bán vào EU chịu thuế nhập khẩu từ 7,8% tới 35,3% tùy phần trăm vật liệu và công nghệ, còn ở Anh thuế chỉ có 10%. Lý do thứ nhì là thị trường xe hơi Anh trên thực tế đã lọt vào tay các tập đoàn nước ngoài sau đợt tự do hóa từ mấy chục năm trước. Ở Anh, ngành xe hơi hiện có trị giá thị trường 100 tỷ bảng, tuyển dụng hơn 700 nghìn người, nên là một mũi nhọn của nền kinh tế, nhưng từ lâu nay đều là do các tập đoàn nước ngoài của Nhật, Đức và các nước khác đầu tư và sản xuất. Sự có mặt của các công ty Trung Quốc là chuyện bình thường. Chỉ có điều là họ vào quá nhanh và bán quá tốt. Lý do thứ ba,  các công ty Trung Quốc lâu nay đã mua lại các dòng xe châu Âu, như MG, Lotus của Anh hay Volvo của Thụy Điển. Tôi đi xe Volvo nên biết rằng Geely từ Chiết Giang  làm chủ hãng này, xe sản xuất ở Bỉ, lắp vô-lăng tay lái nghịch theo hệ của Anh để bán sang Anh. Chi tiết đó cho thấy tiền đầu tư của Trung Quốc đã có ở châu Âu, gồm Anh, nhiều năm rồi. Tới đây, Geely sẽ bán sang Anh các dòng xe Geely, Zeekr, Farizon, bên cạnh Polestar, Lotus, Smart, Volvo, LEVC đã có mặt. Ví dụ nữa, MG là tập đoàn truyền thống của Anh được công ty SAIC của Trung Quốc sở hữu và triển khai khá nhiều nhãn hiệu xe ở Anh. Điều đáng nói là một số tạp chí xe của Anh không coi MG là ‘xe Trung Quốc' nữa mà xếp vào mục xe Made in the UK – Sản xuất tại Vương quốc Anh. Chiến lược tới đây của các tập đoàn xe Trung Quốc với nước Anh ? Thị trường Anh được cho là ‘phòng thí nghiệm' cho công ty xe hơi và xe điện Trung Quốc. Ngoài lý do thuế quan thấp, các công ty xe hơi Trung Quốc có hai chiến lược thâm nhập thị trường Anh. Một là các nhà chế tạo xe ở Trung Quốc đã làm chủ các thương hiệu mạnh thì họ sẽ nhấn mạnh vào tính truyền thống, như thể họ đã làm một phần của văn hóa xe hơi ở Anh và châu Âu. Ví dụ MG bán xe theo phong cách Anh. Leapmotor, công ty khác của Trung Quốc, thì hợp tác với Stellantis và trình bày hình ảnh họ thuộc đại gia đình xe châu Âu gồm Vauxhall (ở Đức là Opel), Peugeot, Citroën, Fiat… để bán xe ‘quen thuộc' với người Anh. Từ đó, họ sẽ bán xe sang các nước nói tiếng Anh, dựa vào dòng thông tin tiếng Anh toàn cầu. Đó là một phần của chiến lược marketing và giành thị phần toàn cầu mà Anh Quốc là mắt xích quan trọng. Hai là chiến lược của các dòng xe rất mới, tên khá lạ, từ Omoda tới BYD, Changan, Xiaomi, Chery, Skywell, GWM (Great Wall Motor-xe Trường Thành)...thì chọn hẳn tương lai của ngành xe điện, trình bày sản phẩm thuộc thế hệ mới, xe EV, plug-in hybrids, bán pin có thời gian chạy được lâu. Hiện nay, xe điện mới chiếm chưa tới 50% xe hơi mới bán ra ở Anh, nên tiềm năng của thị trường Anh còn rất lớn, nhờ chính sách thúc đẩy chuyển đổi năng lượng xanh của chính phủ. Các công ty TQ đang chờ sẵn. Có những ý kiến trái chiều nào về xe Trung Quốc ở Anh ? Có những bài bình luận nói một số loại xe EV của Trung Quốc khi trời lạnh, pin bị hao nhanh hơn mức được quảng cáo. Có loại xe bị chê là vỏ quá mỏng, sơn chưa đạt nên chóng hoen rỉ. Còn theo nhà báo Stuart Masson viết trên trang The Car Expert, nhiều xe mới của Trung Quốc bị chê là có quá nhiều màn hình (screen-heavy), màu sắc nhấp nháy, và thiếu ‘cảm giác châu Âu' (European feel) khi lái. Vô-lăng xe có khi như là bộ phận đồ chơi điện tử. Xe Trung Quốc cũng nổi tiếng với nhiều tính năng giải trí bên trong, có các app, phần mềm và màn hình nhiều hơn so với xe châu Âu. Nhưng kiểu thiết kế đầy ắp các chức năng điện tử thế chưa chắc đã được người châu Âu thích. Vì thế, Trung Quốc sẽ thử bán ở Anh, thu thập ý kiến khách hàng để cải thiện sản phẩm. Chúng ta biết dân châu Âu đã có cả trăm năm chơi xe hơi nên cách lái, cách ứng xử trong xe là cả một bề dày văn hóa. Đó là thứ người Trung Quốc chưa làm được. Nhưng Masson viết, sau khi ông đi thăm các nhà máy xe ở Trung Quốc về, phía Trung Quốc hiểu điều này và học rất nhanh cách khắc phục những lỗi sản xuất. Với họ, việc đem vào Anh nhiều loại xe khác nhau, đáp ứng các nhu cầu khác nhau của người dân trong cuộc sống là cách ‘thí nghiệm' để sau đó cải tiến và bán sang các nước nói tiếng Anh trên toàn cầu.
