La presentación, con música en directo, ha tenido lugar en el Cuartel de Artillería de Murcia. Al acto han acudido la consejera de Turismo, Cultura, Juventud y Deporte, Carmen Conesa, el alcalde de San Javier, José Miguel Luengo y el concejal de Cultura y director del Festival, David Martínez. Se ha presentado la programación, con nombres como Judith Hill, Melody Gardot y Marcus Miller, artistas que completan el cartel de una edición muy prometedora. El Festival tiene lugar entre el 27 de junio al 24 de julio con un total de 22 conciertos, en 15 noches, tres de ellos gratuitos en espacios abiertos de San Javier, Santiago de la Ribera y La Manga del Mar Menor. Las entradas y abonos se pondrán a la venta online a partir del 15 de abril en www.compralentrada.com. El precio del abono será de 162 euros e incluirá la todos los conciertos programados. El precio de las entradas será variable a partir de 15 euros. Todos los abonados tendrán de plazo hasta el 15 de mayo para renovar online su abono. La Oficina de Festival, ubicada en los bajos del Ayuntamiento de San Javier abrirá sus puertas, con la venta física de las entradas, a partir del 20 de mayo. La venta de entradas prevé descuentos para personas mayores, estudiantes y personas con discapacidad.
Este año, los asistentes al Festival de Jazz de San Javier podrán asistir a las actuaciones de grandes nombres del género como Marcus Miller, Melody Gardot y Judith Hill.
